17/10/2024: Hidden gem, best breakfast in the kildare area.

11/10/2024: We stopped here out of convenience but it turned out to be a great find. Excellent food, good coffee, pleasant service, nice atmosphere. I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs and bacon. It was delicious! Highly recommend

03/11/2024: We ate here recently, a group of 8 people. From the moment we were welcomed at the door, we were extremely well looked after. Our server was superb...fantastic personality, and so attentive. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but she's a huge asset to the restaurant. The food was very nice, and portion sizes were good. We'll definitely be back.

27/10/2024: Beautiful food yesterday at a lovely atmospheric pub in Kill. A place you can still hear and chat comfortably without roaring at each other. My monkfish curry special was excellent and the braised beef was lovely and tender (had a snippet of hers). Most mains around €22. Good cappuccino too. Highly recommend this place, not our first time here and always good quality.

31/10/2024: Regular of Cunninghams Kildare bar for years. Today had my first experience of dining in the Dining Room, absolutely great experience, party of eight, family occasion, food excellent, service even better, lovely atmosphere, would definitely go again and would definitely recommend.

24/10/2024: We had 3 Sunday carvery dinners, good choice. We were seated & the food was served at the table, not like most carverys.

10/11/2024: In a great location and very popular for breakfast ... those people in the hotel are eating plus it is open to the public so there are many walk in customers I saw the positive reviews on Google and wanted yo try it out. I am pleased I did as the breakfast came very quickly after ordering, the pot of tea was very hot and more than enough for 2 cups. All the food was very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was also great and each person was made to feel welcome... I was dining alone but was still made to feel valued and welcome which is a great skill to see in action Definitely recommended 100% and I may see you there as I Will be back soon

18/11/2024: Best pub in Maynooth! We were in town for a week and went to the pub for a dinner and had a really nice surprise with the quiz night, we had so much fun. We played as España FC!

04/11/2024: We came here yesterday for dinner 5 adults and 2 children when we arrive there no table and the waitress Sally went to great lengths to get us one I have to say she was very good at her job very friendly and attentive even though it was very busy she made you feel very welcome the food was beautiful we all ordered different dishes and nobody had anything bad to say about it we will definitely be returning

07/06/2024: Dropped in here for some Sunday dinner lovely little pub with a restaurant staff are fantastic felt very welcomed! Food was fantastic definitely return visit on the cards 👍🏼

18/05/2024: I was at the hangedmans restraunt today with my family. As I was sitting down having our dinner I over heard a horrendous conversation with the owner of the restraunt. The owner was shouting at a woman from what I understood was not her fault at all as someone with her had canceled a booking, the owner then went on to tell the woman to f***off and to leave. Another man then came up to tell the owner that this wasn’t right or talk to a woman like that, and his response to the man was f*** off aswell, totally inexcusable behaviour and should not shout and use vulgar language to a woman. I said it to him when paying for our bill that I would be leaving this review as I was disgusted with his behaviour. Do not come here unless you want to be shouted at or abused for no reason. The owner is a horrid man

10/11/2024: Visited with my elderly mother who has mobility issues and my adult daughter. From the moment we arrived the staff did everything they could to make her comfortable in a very low key caring way. The breadth of the menu is matched by its quality. Confit Duck in particular was excellent. Toilet facilities (including one for those with special needs) were immaculately clean. Would recommend Cooke's to anyone.

06/11/2024: If you are looking for some nice food, either a quick bite or a Friday night dinner, the Village Inn is a good place to pop over. The food is lovely, the staff are attentive and great to chat to, the atmosphere is always hopping.

05/11/2024: We had dinner tonight at this quaint pub and were served delicious food and warm hospitality! Our server was cute as a button! We wish we’d gotten her name but she talked with us about her summer’s trip to America, namely that she’d loved Nashville, TN, where we live. 😊 My husband’s steak and my pork chop were both juicy and cooked to perfection. The “galaxy caramel cheesecake” for dessert was very good as well. Looking forward to our next trip to Ireland and hopefully, to this gastro pub. 😃

20/10/2024: Celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. The food was amazing and the service was 10/10. Only down side was the atmosphere, I would have loved if it was livelier but it could have just been the day we went. Would definitely return
