11/03/2025: I recently had my birthday dinner here and we had a fab time. There was 15 of us and they couldn’t of been more helpful and attentive. The waiter Igor was extremely good and made sure we had a good time and that everything was good. The food was delicious too. We have been here a few times before and will be returning again 🤤

23/03/2025: The Dew Drop Inn is my favourite place to eat in Kildare, the food is always amazing, there is always a lovely atmosphere and the staff could not be nicer.. I highly recommend a visit

10/03/2025: Great pub/Restaurant. We were in the bar on a Thursday night. We enjoyed a great meal. Very good service, great food. There is a trad music session there every Thurday night. Great music & musicians. They were a lovely bunch of guys and really add to the atmosphere of the pub!!! Will definitely be back on a Thursday night to hear the music and have a drink!

23/12/2024: Great pub, It's 5 years since I last posted, but this place has gotten even better. The staff are sublime at every level, the food too, simple proper food. Indeed last week I was with my two golf buddies and they had the bacon and cabbage with all trimmings.......fantastic place. And dancing in the bar too on a Sunday....be prepared for good food, great staff and dancing 🕺 😋

12/03/2025: Fantastic food, service and atmosphere as always. Very fair price for what you get. Staff are very friendly. For the life of me I can’t understand how Hartes only has a rating of 4.5, lots of restaurants in Kildare have the same score and are no where near as good as Hartes.

08/03/2025: After yesterday's dinner a big disappointment. My family and I were very frequent guests at the restaurant because the food was fantastic. Unfortunately after yesterday's dinner we changed our minds. I have no idea what happened maybe the chef changed? Oh well I hope the high standard of food will return soon 🤷🏼‍♀️

12/04/2025: Really good Lunch today in "Timeless" with a local Friend. Food was Excellent. Service was Very good. Price's were Very reasonable. This is a small but very good local restaurant . Highly Recommended without hesitation.

19/03/2025: Have been to the Avenue a number of times for occasions. The food here is lovely and the staff very friendly. Would recommend.

15/03/2025: Went out for a work event at the Avenue and was really impressed, I live in Dublin and have been to many restaurants, this was by far the best one I have been to in quite a while. Food was amazing, started with the prawns and had the beef for main, followed by the brownie for desert. The zero Guinness wasnt bad either The staff were brilliant and catered to our every need. Well done the Avenue,

12/04/2025: Had an amazing culinary experience at cookes, best part was the 5 star restaurant level service our hostess Holly gave us. Unreal wine recommendation also her in suggesting the Tacherons Pinot Noir 👌👌👌

01/04/2025: Went to the Ballymore inn last night 29/03/25 for the first time in a long time, I was very disappointed and on reflection I should of sent my main back. I ordered the trout which had a very strong fishy smell on arrival and the taste was unpleasant, the sauce around the fish was flavourless. When the prices are as high as they are in the Ballymore inn the food should be top notch but I am bitterly disappointed. Update on review 01/04/25: owner did call me and was apologetic, I really appreciated this, it shows a devotion to good food and service for customers of the Ballymore inn. I will return to have food again due to the fact the owner reached out and gave me confidence that they do endeavour to serve the best and provide a good dining experience.
