23/12/2024: Great pub, It's 5 years since I last posted, but this place has gotten even better. The staff are sublime at every level, the food too, simple proper food. Indeed last week I was with my two golf buddies and they had the bacon and cabbage with all trimmings.......fantastic place.
And dancing in the bar too on a Sunday....be prepared for good food, great staff and dancing 🕺 😋
08/12/2024: Called in for an impromptu visit for Sunday lunch. Staff were very pleasant and we were seated immediately and given menus. Our drinks order was taken. We both opted for the gourmet beef burger and fries with a delicious pepper sauce. The burger was gorgeous as were the fries . The pepper sauce complimented the meal perfectly. For dessert I had lemon cheesecake and my partner had Christmas pudding. All in all a perfect lunch.

18/01/2025: The minute we walked, we felt welcome. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Kyle went all out for us. He was lovely. We stayed in the accommodation there too. Top notch accommodation. Just three for three, we got food here, and it was a delicious spot as we continued to have a drink.

25/01/2025: We went for a nice dinner with some friends. Good service and nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Table big enough to enjoy the dinner and have space. Food OK, nothing exceptional, the meet overcooked _ i suspect this is the local signature the overcooking of meet. Is not bad and is an interesting experience. Very good restaurant for a small town.

07/02/2025: Maynooth institution. Probably has the best open steak sandwich amongst the Maynooth pubs (though I had a not so great one recently). Gets very busy at weekends, but has made extensive use of outdoor space out back.

02/02/2025: Fantastic food and very generous proportions. Service by Ian (loannes) I hope I got the Greek spelling of his name right!! It was top notch, very warm and welcoming man and he cared about the customers. He is a credit to his job and I hope he is well appreciated. We Highly recommend this establishment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thanks again for taken care of us.
25/01/2025: We looked for a classical pub experience around our hotel and we stop on Brady’s . Excelent food and nice atmosphere. We spent a nice moment and enjoyed a good pub food.

Reservation is advised especially when is busy but most of the time they will try to get you in even if you dont have one.
Food is very very tasty 😋. Stakes are just amazing. Prices i think typical EU prices for an restaurant.
17/12/2024: Visited based on recommendations and it didn't disappoint! Steak on the stone was a great experience and fully recommend to anyone. Portion size was good and taste was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was enjoyable - place is rustic and full of character. Highly recommend!

The Gallops

30/12/2024: If you're in Kildare, add it to your to-do list, come and eat at The Gallops. Here I ate the finest and most delicious lasagna and beef from the entire region.
The quality of the ingredients and the passion of the chefs for their work, convinced me to come back to them as soon as possible. The gourmets will prove me right.
The relaxing Christmas atmosphere, the impeccable service of the staff made me feel close to home.
Thank you, you made my evening beautiful.
