07/12/2025: My wife and adult daughter rang to reserve a table on the evening of December 4th 2025.
They were told reservations were not accepted so they arrived a while later.
They bought two drinks at the bar and sat at a table.
Almost immediately the "Manager" arrived and abruptly told my wife and daughter they could not sit there as the table was reserved for other people.
My wife told him they would not move as they have been told there are no reservations, there is no "reserved" notice on the table.
The manager said that there were other people he had been holding this table for.
My wife said explained that her and my daughter had bought drinks from the bar, and would not move.
The manager then loudly said that he would not allow them to be served for the evening
A waitress approached, apologised and went to hand my wife menus, but from the other side of the bar told the waitress not to serve them!
A young male waiter went over to them and apologised and offered to walk my wife and daughter to another restaurant down the road.
My wife said she felt embarrassed, belittled and very intimidated.
ABSOLUTELY ABHORRENT BEHAVIOUR

28/11/2025: First Time in was November 27 and really enjoyed it. Mushroom starter was not soggy, the turkey and ham was not dry and the pudding was amazing. Great value and the waitress was a lady. Will be back

27/11/2025: I was here with a group of friends and although the service is always good from staff, "management" have a lot to answer for on their customer service skills and have frankly turned me off ever returning. At around 10pm, myself and my partner went to Supermac's to get an ice cream and decided to purchase cookies for our friends and when we returned to Brady's, Declan welcomed us with rage, stating "you're not coming in here with that, are you serious? We employ kitchen staff and this is an insult", when the kitchen had already closed for the night. Additionally, when we said we'd stand at the entrance and finish our ice cream before re-entering, he screamed at us saying "get lost back to Supermac's where you came from". Had he approached us more respectfully we would have more than understood his reasoning. As you can imagine, the above quotes are adjusted so that my review isn't blocked.
Even when approached following the incident to apologise for our misunderstanding and make things right, Declan proved that he had no communication skills and decided to make yet another fuss of the situation. It was evident that he was only there for the power trip and seems as though he'd happily do it for free. If you're so proud of who you employ, let your bouncer do his job and stay out of it. Thankfully there are many other great bars within a stones throw and we headed to The Roost afterwards and had a fabulous time!

I was denied entry by an old security man standing outside the pub on Monday night 15th of December all because I was “wearing a tracksuit” mind you, I had on a HOODIE and JOGGERS!!
Then I looked back and saw a bunch of black people like myself standing just right outside, refused entry as well while like 20-30 white folks just walked in, one even threw up the middle finger to me.
I had to leave the place and go back home that night. Waking up in the morning, the girl I was with told me she went back there and was still denied entry, and the man asked her “where’s your little black friend?” And also called her a “wh0re” just because she was with me that night.
So I was lowkey denied entry into the pub because I was black.

05/07/2025: I have been so disappointed with the staff and service today. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they have treated me today. I was there at around 13pm today for lunch with my son. When we arrived I said we will seat outside because I am pregnant and I m feeling sick if i feel any smell. I have ordered from the kids menu a chicken salad, fish and chips and a pizza, and a chocolate brownie for desert, my son wanted chips and pizza and I was thinking we could share the food as I couldn't eat much and didn't even know if I could actually eat anything at all. When ordered the girl said if the food was for me or sharing, I said sharing and she said because I wasn't allowed to order from kids menu so I explained I was sick and don't know if I could eat anyways. I have been with my family so many times there and ofcourse I have never ordered from kids menu for myself . This was just because of my pregnancy. The fish was so oily and the batter had still flour in it. No taste, my son tried it and refused to eat it. I had a bite from it and everything else was still in the plate. My son had 2 slices of pizza, i have tried it also and the dough was so mushy. After this, we got our plates cleaned ..even if the plates were still full, the staff didn't ask if everything was fine with the food. We got the desert and I wanted one for myself also. I have been refused the desert as the staff said she wasn't allowed to add on my order from kids menu, i said she doesn't have to as I can take one from the normal menu, but she said thats not available on that menu, so she refused to get me the desert. I have left the restaurant and I don't think I ever felt so disgusted with the way everything was handled.
25/05/2025: I was so looking forward to this and I was very disappointed.mushroom starter were only out of a packet ...no flavour at all .....pork belly was disgusting...spuds were cold and not nice ...like smash so not good ....looks nice on paper but didn't enjoy ....burger mmmmm no taste at all more lettuces than anything...dessert was just ok .....now the staff .....dropped my knife but no one can to replace it ...girl twice came to the table and didn't take the empty water bottle and replace it till I got annoyed and asked her.....all the did was stand around talking..I even had to go to the bar to pay my bill as they were all in talking...sorry to say we didn't enjoy this and certainly wasn't worth €79 ....won't be back and no k wouldn't recommend to Friends either.
