08/12/2024: I’ve been to this restaurant numerous times, and every visit is an absolute pleasure! The staff are always so helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The food is consistently 10/10 – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I’ve never had a bad experience here, and it’s clear they take pride in ensuring every customer leaves happy. Hands down the best restaurant in County Meath. Highly recommend!

14/12/2024: Room 8 in Navan is great. We started with a chicken burger and pulled pork served with perfectly cooked chunky chips, packed with flavor, ingredients were fresh and dishes were perfectly presented. For dessert - warm sticky toffee pudding, which was over the top it was so good. The coffee was also great. Exceptional service from very friendly, welcoming and polite staff. At €46 for two, the value is exceptional. I recommend Room 8 if you’re near Navan. No photos, I was too busy eating :)

10/12/2024: We had a delicious family meal in The Inside Out last week. It was absolutely delicious and we had clean plates all around. I had the Beef Cheek which was divine.

01/12/2024: We had our wedding at the Station House in November 2024. It was an autumnal themed wedding and to say the staff and the venue exceeded our expectations and our vision. Since I was younger I knew the Station House was where I wanted to marry and I couldn’t believe it was real on the day. The station house staff was so understanding about our requests and kept in constant communication throughout the whole year. The grounds were so incredibly beautiful even that late into autumn it was still stunning, myself and my husband were so happy all day. The rooms including the bridal room were perfect however we were a slight bit delayed in getting into the bridal room to change but managed in the end, I will admit the showers in the other guest rooms were a little tight. The food was incredible and the drinks were great! Our guests loved how incredible everything was including the grounds and food, everyone was very happy and full for the whole day which was great! I did want to mention Caroline who was our wedding co-ordinator to tell you she was an absolute credit to the venue would be an understatement, she has been such a support for us and without her we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. Just a small note for future brides/Grooms if you do not fill out the rooms you do have to pay for them which put a bit of pressure on us but worked out in the end. However I would still do my wedding all over again and would highly recommend.

24/11/2024: Normally we’d enjoy the Hatchet Inn and hopefully this visit was a blip. Didn’t get off to a good start when we used their website form to request a booking for 6. We got no reply and when we rang the next morning the first person to answer just said “ring back in 20 minutes” and hung up before we could say anything. The next person we spoke to said that they didn’t take bookings for more than 5 (??). But they also don’t reply to tell you that or have that info on their website. We decided to roll the dice and drove there anyway and there was a table for 6, which was good. We ordered roasts (beef and turkey & ham) but they were only ok. Service was good, prices were fair and portions were generous. We’ve definitely had better experiences at the Hatchet and hopefully will again. Once/if we do then I’ll update this review to reflect it.

27/11/2024: It is know called Cafe' Navy ; Great cafe' with very good staff, so accommodating lovely food nice atmosphere incredible sea views & good service , all you need is a few bike racks , see you soon, from Dublin Easy Wheelers

15/12/2024: Try the mince pies 🥧 with custard and ice cream, truly delicious. The staff are so helpful and courteous. I would recommend it 100 %. Great value for home cooked food.

14/11/2024: Im sorry but this restaurant deserves a Michelin star, it was the best meal I’ve had in a long time and prices are amazing. I’m so happy I booked in.

13/11/2024: Came across this place on TikTok, looked great, hip hop themed restaurant and the food was fantastic to be fair, tenders, burgers and fries were class. 5 Stars. Worth the trip. But the service was poor. I didn't realise the staff spend their time actually making tik toks while the restaurant was open, we were sat with empty glasses and plates of cold food for 30 mins while the girls made their tik toks at the bar. Maybe this was a once off, but a long drive for poor service.

12/11/2024: Called into the tankard to grab a baby bowl for my son, apparently it's not possible to pay extra to get a slice of meat added to the bowl. Then after 25 minute's I was served raw vegetables. They couldn't even serve the bowl with gravy as requested. For reference I've attached a picture. This is what €6.50 will get you for your little one. Won't be returning.

10/12/2024: Works xmas outing, food was ok,not worth 55 euros per person though, small portions. Staff were generally pleasant. Entertainment in the lounge afterwards was reasonable.

08/12/2024: This place has it all, very good, homemade food, at a very good price, and charming waitresses. I also have celiac disease and they were very clear about gluten.

01/12/2024: Have been to o dwyres several times food was up and down went there last night with family got 3 meals and all three were bad , fish and chips was no 1 chips ok fish was terrible and peas had a tang off them don't think I'll be back , was also a aftertaste off the Heineken overall poor

15/11/2024: Standard has gone back up to the way it was years ago. New managment has turned the corner. Food is great and guiness is great.
