20/08/2025: Fantastic restaurant in every way - food, service, and decor, to name a few. It's not cheap but fair for the quality. Family all enjoyed it. Have a kids menu and early bird menu, which is applicable throughout the week irrespective of the time. Best to book a table online.

14/08/2025: As a vegetarian customer room 8 is my absolute favourite cafe to visit. They have such a diverse vegetarian menu and cam cater many other menu options to your needs changing most dishes from conventional to vegetarian to vegan . The food always is of excellent quality and great taste. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is nice. It's a very busy spot often at times have to wait for a table but this just shows how excellent the food is .

03/08/2025: Very disappointed with response from the restaurant when we told them we got food poisoning from a meal there in March this year. We ate there several times with relatively big groups, and always enjoyed it. In fact, it became our go-to restaurant when we had visitors coming stay with us. In March, we booked a table for 6 for dinner. My partner and I ordered a large pizza and a burger meal with the intentions to split between us. The other 4 in the party ordering different meals from us. We split both meals and ended up finishing the burger between us and taking most of the pizza home. Later at home, we both became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhoea and suffered that way all night and still suffering 24 hours after the meal. The others in the party were unaffected and had different food options. We wanted to alert the restaurant to this issue so they could do whatever they needed to do to check supplies / process. We suspect the issue was caused by the burger as my partner ate very little of the pizza and we both had half of the burger each. The response from the manager restaurant (a week later after I followed up) was that several others had the burger that night and they had no complaints, but they’d check into it and get back to us. That was the last we heard. No apology, no follow up, no respect for the fact that we really reached out to warn them vs anything else. We spent a lot of money at that restaurant since they opened but won’t be spending a penny there again. In fact, neither of us could face ordering a burger in any restaurant again given how really sick we got from the burger @ Inside Out. Posting this only because of the total disregard of our complaint and lack of apology for what we went thru, and denial of any potential issue at their restaurant. Things can go wrong in any business, the key is how your deal with those issues, address them and look after your customers. Something the owners and manager of this restaurant need to acknowledge and learn. Thanks… *** Update *** Have since heard from the owner and he informed me that while he did go back and review things & did not find any causal link at the restaurant, he was very apologetic for our experience. 04/09/2025: Lovely atmosphere. The two waitresses (sisters) were very efficient and friendly considering how many people they had to look after Portion sizes were good, except for the fish and chips, it was WAY too big. Will definitely be calling again.

07/07/2025: Had a big family party at The Central and it was a excellent! The outdoor area out back was perfect — loads of space and great vibes. Food was amazing (even the fussy eaters were happy) and the staff were absolute stars — super friendly, helpful, and on the ball. 10/10 would party there again!

17/08/2025: I went here with the family for the October bank holiday. This place is a hidden gem tucked away above a car park. The narrow stairwell opens out into a large ballroom floor At the back. The decor gives for a great ambience. The menu was varied and good. There was a veggie option. #ramblingstampcollectors

24/07/2025: I normally enjoy the food, but I got the duck with the trio of sauces, the 3 sauces were too sweet and there was so much of the sauces that I had to ask for another plate so I could just eat the duck and the vegetables. It was impossible to eat it with the meat swimming in sauce.

15/08/2025: The food is lovely. The cakes are delicious. The prices are good. The flies are a nightmare but seasonal. The decor needs an upgrade.

11/08/2025: This is renamed to Navy with new owners. Staff are lovely. Definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment but staff were able to accommodate me for lunch. Food was delicious, and staff are attentive and professional. Lovely decor and atmosphere. It's a very busy establishment but run extremely well. I tried the Bay View, sweet potatoe fries and their slaw and it did not disappoint. Definitely will be back. Coffee is good too. Highly recommend a visit. If youre not local, there is parking a short walk in either direction or the bus stop is a short walk either.

31/08/2025: We had the Roast of the Day: Delicious. A large potion of mashed potatoes. Friendly atmosphere. The two of us split that and the very good vegetable soup. We were both full.

14/07/2025: Lovely place to take your break in any moment of the day. They have Centra and you can always buy fresh and warm food. The chocolate croissants are absolutely delicious. Is not busy and you can always enjoy your break in a pleasant silence. Definitely I will come back. Thanks.

05/08/2025: We stopped there for lunch between the visit of Loughcrew and Fore abbey. The place was quiet. We really like the decoration. We had carvery dishes as main, leg of lamb and turkey and ham. They were very nice, and so were the side dishes. That was very good. The deserts were not as good, still ok. The apple pie's crust was very soggy though the filling was nice. And why the plastic cup under the ice cream? Setvice was good.
