01/01/2025: Edited in response to owners response: Honestly was excited to come here with my family. We are traveling on vacation and this was our final day in Ireland. We normally take recommendations from locals in the area and everyone was telling us to come here for dinner. It would have been nice to know that reservation was required and we understand that it is our fault in that regard. However we didn’t know that. When walking in the restaurant was empty minus maybe one couple. The host seemed really rude and unwelcoming after she found out we did not have a reservation. Never did she tell us that she could seat us 45 minutes after and said they were fully booked at first. We asked if there was a way to out our name in incase there was a no show or cancellation which she informed us that there wouldn’t be because there is a 24 hour notice (which there still can be a cancellation, things happen all the time). She seemed reluctant to put our name down for a later time and I never received a single text or call about our reservation at 8:30 pm. When we left the pub next store an hour later it was still pretty empty we came back to see but understand that there would have been more reservations coming in. Maybe she wasn’t being bias but she certainty was rude and we never got any notification that a table was ready and maybe if we had we could have had a better experience and got to see the what everyone was talking about. To the owner, i left a review as we may not have eatten there but still experienced your staff and host. never commented on the food since we never got to eat here and to be told we are “hangry” by you for leaving an honest review on how we were treated is crazy. Wish you and your restaurant a wonderful new year.

15/12/2024: This Restaurant is the Best in Ireland by far. The food is prepared and served to perfection. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and it blows us away every time. The staff are always so lovely to us and it's a beautiful intimate dining experience. This venue is not to be missed by anyone who loves a fine dining experience at really great value for money. 08/10/2024: We stopped in for a pint ( or two) before dinner and loved the pub atmosphere and the friendly service. The guest house we were staying in had recommended this pub and were spot on.

07/01/2025: I used to be a regular visitor to this fine establishment before the motorway was opened. I was staying in the area recently and decided to pay it a visit to see was if it was as good as ever! I certainly wasn't disappointed! From the moment we arrived (without a reservation 😊) we were made feel very welcome by the fabulous hostess who went out of her way to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place. But please save them the headache and make a reservation! Well done all and thank you.

11/11/2024: This is a Really good Pub. There's a lovely atmosphere and a Great selection of drinks and food. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. Very easy to park near by. Well worth a visit. 🙂
