19/10/2025: Lovely restaurant. Sat at lovely table for two by the window upstairs. Food delicious 😋

15/10/2025: My friend and I had a meal in this establishment Wednesday 15th October. Once you walk in the door you enter a cosy homely atmosphere. We were greeted by Colleen who I must say was the most pleasant young lady I have ever met in a restaurant. She has a tremendous personality and was so helpful and engaging while we were there. The food was top class, wine excellent and considering it was early the restaurant was half full. I will definitely be returning. John.

03/11/2025: We had dinner her on Friday last, the food was excellent and the lovely attentive young staff were a tribute to the youth of Ireland. We have been coming here for years during previous management.The only thing lacking now is the traditional music night

03/11/2025: We came to stay for a wedding at Raheen House, in from New York for only 3 nights and we could not have picked a better place to stay. It is located right in the town of Clonmel so it is close to all of the shopping, pubs, eating. We parked the car and didn’t have to move it for the entire stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had everything you needed and definitely some of the most comfortable hotel beds we ever slept in. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is beyond words. Even if you don’t stay here definitely book in for dinner. They have a nice little beer garden with heat lamps to keep you warm. We loved this place and plan to stay again the next time we are coming into town.

20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

13/09/2025: A great pub experience! If you're looking for a proper Irish pub experience, look no further than The Whiskey Still. We stopped in for some classics—the fish and chips and a pint of Guinness—and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a local pub, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

29/10/2025: They fed six of us on a dreary afternoon and we were very happy about that. To our surprise, this small pub had some pretty amazing food! The staff was pretty busy the whole time but they were professional and courteous to us.

17/10/2025: I used to come here with my grandmother as a child so it was important I revisited here. The layout seems different to when I was young but the food tasted the same 😅 the food was good, the service was great and atmosphere here was mellow. Got talking to some locals while having dinner, important I went back to visit one of the first strong women in my life.

31/10/2025: The Goosers Bar and Restaurant is located ib Ballina, Co. Tipperary on the shores of Lough Derg. We were greeted warmly by the Restaurant manager and although we didn't have a reservation a cosy table was found for us. A Well priced menu with lots of choice to be enjoyed in cosy surroundings. We're looking forward to a return visit...

20/08/2025: Went for dinner on a few occasions and I could not fault it. Amazing food, I would recommend the beef. Staff are nice and helpful. Great for the whole family.
