21/12/2025: We had a small wedding dinner here for about 25 people in the private room and we were delighted with it! The food was beyond amazing and the room was beautifully decorated for a festive wedding! I can't praise the staff enough for how helpful and accommodating they were.

17/12/2025: The staff & atmosphere were lovely. I got Turkey & Ham. The plates were cold & the ham was so so. My husband had the cod , it was fantastic but the plate was cold which resulted in the food going cold too quick

20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

11/12/2025: The most established restaurant in Clonmel and it’s easy to see why. The owner Fulvio is a gentleman and his levels of consistency for 20 years is something to be admired.

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

14/12/2025: Spotless clean pub, and restaurant.. But the food is not good. The quality of the food is very poor, and certainly not worth what your being charged.. I have eaten better food from a chip shop .

19/11/2025: I came here with 27 people back in October. I am a guide and the group was booked in for a 2 course meal. The food was delicious, very fresh and full of flavour. The staff were fantastic, they really made us feel at home. John and his team were brilliant!

16/11/2025: Had lunch recently, it was my favourite place to eat for a while. Something has changed. Roast of the day -beef was very poor quality and overcooked, tasted like a rubber,vegetables not seasoned very bland,crème brûlée it used to be served with scoop of ice cream and biscuits, none of these is served now. For what you get it's hugely overpriced, luch for 19€ and a bit of custard 9€. Only big plus on decorations but unfortunately food was not worth the visit.

15/12/2025: Excellent experience here, very good food, prompt and welcoming service. In the middle of Cashel, easy street parking. It's worth deviating off the motorway. The Guinness is good. The pate was just right texture and taste.. Soup delicious. The plate of meat could serve 4 people and was delicious. Fish was excellent. Best tables for atmosphere are downstairs but it can get crowded. Upstairs is comfortable. Good people and would go back.

05/12/2025: We were recommended this pub by the hotel next door, we were in great spirits and looking forward to a nice drink. There was a really unwelcoming man working at the bar, told us “to go back to where we came from”. We swiftly left, and after speaking to a few staff members in the hotel, they told us “yes, they aren’t friendly to non locals in that pub” .. very strange behaviour, and should be more mindful of how near you are to a busy hotel, and be more welcoming and friendly to non locals, maybe even find a more pleasant and less miserable bar man to serve. 31/10/2025: The Goosers Bar and Restaurant is located ib Ballina, Co. Tipperary on the shores of Lough Derg. We were greeted warmly by the Restaurant manager and although we didn't have a reservation a cosy table was found for us. A Well priced menu with lots of choice to be enjoyed in cosy surroundings. We're looking forward to a return visit...

28/11/2025: 1st time ever here because we had a voucher. The staff very friendly and helpful. Food came out well presented and hot and very large portions. 2nd time was today, for my 60th birthday, It was exactly the same as our 1st visit, staff were busy, but still friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Food was excellent again, large portions of well presented quality food, for a reasonable price, Definitely recommend, and will return again soon
