23/05/2026: Really good place to go for a special dinner, the staff are really good at their job and there is love in the food. The plates look beautiful when you get them and taste great too.

22/05/2026: Smart space layout, stylish decor; perfect ambiance. Varied and tasty food with original twists whilst respecting the main ingredients. Thanks to the waitress that I had (red haired, I didn't get the name): friendly, attentive and overall really pleasant. Strongly recommend the place.

11/04/2026: Had a steak sandwich here a few weeks ago and it was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Crisp bread, good quality steak, mushrooms, an onion ring and pepper sauce for 20 quid is a steal these days. Restaurant is beautifully designed and very modern. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area. Paddy’s next door is nice for a pint but this is the place to eat

06/06/2026: Ordered cappuccino and caramel roulette!! Coffee arrived first & 10 minutes minutes later still no dessert!!! Spoke to staff & explained!! another 10 minutes went and it eventually came then I told her our coffee was cold & asked for hot water!!I Got no apology at all none of the staff were friendly so for that reason we will not be returning a simple apology is all that was needed

02/06/2026: We had chicken wings, bruschetta, and a Caesar salad. Unfortunately, it was anything but tasty. The chicken wings were lukewarm with so much sauce on them that we had to scrape it off, and the Caesar salad had sloppy lettuce and practically no dressing. Overall, the food was presented very carelessly. You can tell the chef isn't passionate about it. What a shame. This was the worst meal we've had so far on our 14-day trip to Ireland. The service couldn't redeem it either. Even though the restaurant wasn't busy, we had to wait a long time for service.

08/05/2026: Attended a family celebration at the bistro recently and the food here was top class, as was the service. Friendly and professional staff in a nice atmosphere - great experience.

14/05/2026: Had lunch here. Service and food was excellent. Very busy place. Great to be able to sit outside still sheltered from rain. On a cold winters evening a nice warm coal fire burning. Ideal for a private party upstairs.

24/04/2026: We stopped here on the drive to Cork and the food was incredible and the staff was so kind. They offered to serve lunch 45 minutes before it was time for us. 4 of us ordered different things and all of it was so delicious. It is definitely worth the stop!

27/04/2026: Your perfect neighbourhood cafe! Amazing staff with good food and they were serving food late in the afternoon while other restaurants’ kitchens had already shut ! Their parking is kinda quirk in a cool way - it seems like a fuel station converted. Reasonable pricing

29/05/2026: I visited Malones Galtee Inn yesterday with a group of friends. Overall, it was a very positive experience, though one detail on the main order fell a bit short. The Food & Drinks Chicken Cranberry & Stuffing Wraps (3/5): We ordered two of these. Unfortunately, there was no cranberry inside the wrap, which was very disappointing. On the bright side, the presentation was excellent, and the accompanying potato salad was absolutely amazing—a solid 5/5! Kids' Spaghetti: Absolutely delicious! The portion size was great for a child. Side Salads: Very tasty and served in generous, large portions. Drinks: The beer was top-class and served perfectly. Service & Atmosphere Staff: The service was lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Cleanliness: The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the toilets were spotless and well-maintained.

After travelling around Ireland for the past two weeks, myself and those travelling with me have been struggling with the food quality here comparative to Australia. The conversion rate, matched with the lower standard of food, has had us a bit bummed. However, upon ordering here at Baileys - we were blown away! The food was EXCEPTIONAL! The best steak we've had here in all of Ireland. The chicken stir fry was tasty, the rice was great and the baked potato, delicious! The rooms are clean, service was phenomenal and the people were lovely! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

07/03/2026: Befani is well located in the centre of Clonmel. We had an evening and breakfast which were both very and served by pleasant and attentive staff. The accommodation above the restaurant is comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a very pleasant stay.
