25/03/2024: An absolute gem of a place. Communication was clear, Gary was kind and congenial, the room was perfect. Breakfast was incredible, I highly recommend the scones with cream and jam! Parking was easy to find nearby, and Thurles was a charming little market town.

24/10/2023: Best Guinness in Munster. Friendly staff. Chatty locals. Great music at the weekends. Last friday of every month a group of musicians play here and all are welcome to join in. Definitely worth a visit.

02/04/2024: Great place for the dinner or breakfast. Close to M8 so handy to come off for the 45m break. Not sure if you can park up overnight all in all a handy place to stop.

01/04/2024: This is my second time come to here, the salad starters is really good, deep fried vegetables are fantastic, first time tried, tomatoes and cherry in the salad, unexpected. Sounds like mango with rice🤣but trust me, deserve a shot!

03/03/2024: Never got a chip I didn't like here 😁 seriously though, the chips are lovely. Always busy but never have to wait too long. Staff are lovely. Food is good. Parking is a pain because it's on street but the food is worth a little walk. No complaints.

01/03/2024: Everyone was raving about the Hibernian Inn so I tried it out ... What a bad idea. We were immediately met by a line of bar flies (12PM of a bloody Friday). Then we went into have lunch/ dinner. I got the turkey and ham. The turkey was fine, but the potatoes were like slop warmed up. My friend's chips were cold and almost hard, like underdone chunky oven chips? My dinner cost 15 euro, no way was it worth that. The staff in the restaurant part were friendly, but some of the customers left a lot to be desired. We were closed in my Shanice, Chantelle, Cody and co. Tracksuit city. Never again. Don't get the hype about the food at all. You'd get better down the street in supermacs.

27/01/2024: Down from Dublin and staying the night in Thurles as meeting friends. Booked in here for early bird. Pleasantly surprised as how nice is is! The food, quality of service and overall ambiance was top notch! We ordered the fish special which was incredible. One big winner for me was the little jugs of codial for the kids. Absolute winner! Staff were suburb. Highly recommend!!

21/03/2024: Very cute cafe with good food, and excellent smoothies. Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Almost worth the stop in Tipperary all on its own!
02/10/2023: We visited here some weeks ago and we're very pleased. Not so on a visit last week. The cappuccinos were cold when served. The rhubarb crumble never arrived and after waiting 15 mins the staff seemed surprised when I enquired about it's whereabouts, eventually locating it in the microwave. It too had gone cold.
Hope it was just an off day
