05/12/2025: Group of 4 visiting locally and chanced in. Sunday afternoon. Warm welcome, lovely Guinness. We appreciated the original interior. 1 Burger and 3 different roast dinners. All happy! Very tasty, good portions, well priced, nice service. Unfortunately had no room for dessert! Would recommend.

12/10/2025: Fun experience talking to the owner Jasper. He was full of stories and had no problem sitting down and telling us about being a 5th generation bar owner/undertaker. He also listened and gave us further suggestions for where to go after we left. Food was good too. Would definitely go back!

02/03/2026: Don't pass tru this town without calling in here. Great honest food and plenty of it. Lovely relaxed place. Beautiful decor. Staff so friendly too. Plus the price is right.

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

18/10/2025: Day 1 of our 2025 Irish getaway: we received a warm welcome. We ate very well, it was truly generous! €80, including four drinks. Perfect!!!

18/02/2026: Everything was beyond amazing. Everything you expect from a small Irish bar and town. The bartender Joan was so full of information and so welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect. This is an absolute MUST in Cashel. I’m so thankful I stumbled upon this pub.

22/03/2026: Excellent food. We arrived with a reservation as it was recommended to make reservation. Food was delicious, servers were friendly and helpful but simply too busy. Drinks arrived after food, no one had time to come back to ask if food was okay , nor to ask if we wanted more drinks, dessert or tea & coffee. Again server was super friendly but too busy. We were seated indoor but the external emergency exit was open to allow staff serve outdoor, it made the dining area uncomfortably cold. We asked if door could be closed but server explained she would close as soon as possible but this didn’t happen while we dined. I would visit again as the food was really good but I would not tolerate the same uncomfortable seating.
