18/01/2025: Amazing food here, great variety on the menu, great location in Athlone (can nip into Gertie’s before and after for a pint), we make it a point to visit every year on the annual Athlone visit! Highly recommended
10/01/2025: Wonderful food and service this evening, Friday 11/01/2025. Myself and my wife had the “value menu” and we each tried separate starters, main courses and desert. We both loved each of the dishes presented. The service was excellent and the restaurant and toilets are extremely clean. Super, super value at €45 per head and we will be back.

28/01/2025: The food was amazing, some of the best we have ever eaten as a family. From the wings, to the chilli beef, fish pie and pulled pork specials. They were incredible, and absolute gem of a restaurant if you are Athlone in a beautiful historic setting

07/02/2025: Nice atmosphere and delicious food. Everything we ate was fantastic and the service is very good, they are attentive, polite and friendly.
30/12/2024: We ended up here by chance at Lunch. The food is tasty and fresh. The only thing is that the fish could have been cooked a bit better, which is why we gave it one star. Location is a plus.

05/01/2025: We popped in for Lunch 4/1/25 and it was delicious! The bar maid was very friendly and helpful as were the locals! Food was delicious, drinks were cold and arrived promptly- overall we had a class wee lunch!! Thank you from your Co Armagh visitors
02/12/2024: We've been here twice so far, and they have the best burger we've ever had in our lives! Actually, all of us had the stack'em high burger, and we are more than happy. The chips are lovely as well. Everything if freshly made and super tasty. I'd come all the way back from Berlin to Athlone just for that burger, tbh.
Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
Keep up the good work!
Update, been there four times now. Burger as good as ever and tried the pie as well, which was delicious.

20/01/2025: I popped in here for breakfast & ordered a full Irish. It is very difficult to do a fry up badly but somehow this place managed it. It did not appear to be cooked fresh, especially the rashers which had a strange taste off them. Would not eat here again.

04/12/2024: We stopped here for Ice-cream, the place was packed, it was hard to find parking spot, it is little shop with Petrol station and the Supermac's. The shop is nice, very well stocked, the man who served us was very friendly and nice, Ice-cream was delicious! We weren't able to finish our Ice-cream, it was huge.
Supermacs have the best Ice-cream in Ireland.

27/11/2024: I stayed at the Radisson Blu for 11 nights for work and so visited the Restaurant every morning for breakfast. The ladies running the bistro did everything they could day in and day out to make sure it was always the best experience. The food is great and most importantly the staff really gave us the best start to the day!
Definitely pay them a visit! :)

30/09/2024: I went here for breakfast. I have to say the breakfast was one of the best valued breakfast i have had in a while, The service was very good. Friendly and homely. Which to me is a big win for any place. And the quality of the food is of a high standard.
