10/11/2024: Lovely spot, managed to squeeze us in without a booking and am really glad they did. Would like to have tried more as what we had was very tasty and interesting dishes. We had risotto, prawn starter and cauliflower starter. Recommend. Friendly staff

27/11/2024: Had a school reunion lunch with 9 other people recently.The restaurant was warm,comfortable and staff were excellent.We bought wine but you can bring your own and pay 3e corkage.The location is ideal,3 doors from Sean's bar,Irelands oldest pub.

02/12/2024: We've been here twice so far, and they have the best burger we've ever had in our lives! Actually, all of us had the stack'em high burger, and we are more than happy. The chips are lovely as well. Everything if freshly made and super tasty. I'd come all the way back from Berlin to Athlone just for that burger, tbh.
Give it a try! You won't be disappointed!

Update, been there four times now. Burger as good as ever and tried the pie as well, which was delicious.
27/11/2024: Only had lunch here, but did it twice during our time in Athlone. They had a really easy to navigate gluten free menu that made it the best!! The wait staff was super friendly and poured the Orchard thieves draft ciders perfectly! The goat cheese platter is a MUST!

03/11/2024: Popped in for a coffee and got very excited that they also did vegan sausage rolls. As a vegan for the last 15 years, I've tried quite a few vegan sausage rolls and I can hands down say that this is the best one I've ever had - which I must say I didn't expect during our trip to Connemara. The place was incredibly friendly too, and the coffee was excellent. Definitely recommend!
01/11/2024: Solid selection of traybakes, cakes, coffee , buns, soup etc...
Nothing outstanding, but honest , tasty , and good price.
Seems popular with locals too, likely as is not a too cool or trendy place.

04/12/2024: We stopped here for Ice-cream, the place was packed, it was hard to find parking spot, it is little shop with Petrol station and the Supermac's. The shop is nice, very well stocked, the man who served us was very friendly and nice, Ice-cream was delicious! We weren't able to finish our Ice-cream, it was huge.
Supermacs have the best Ice-cream in Ireland.

30/09/2024: I went here for breakfast. I have to say the breakfast was one of the best valued breakfast i have had in a while, The service was very good. Friendly and homely. Which to me is a big win for any place. And the quality of the food is of a high standard.
