01/04/2024: I personally feel that it is a very authentic Italian restaurant, but the taste is a bit strong in my opinion (you can tell the boss in advance), this is very Italian. I learned a new way to make tiramisu, it would be great if I could use truffle risotto. 09/03/2024: I Really enjoyed my birthday celebration. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I loved my seafood pasta with creamy tomato sauce. Just next time I would skip clams, I found something gritty after taking them out from their shell. And the cocktail "paradise" was great start of our evening. We all were too full for dessert, maybe next time.

05/04/2024: It has been years since I was here last- March 2018. Yet, I keep speaking on how great this pizza is! The Dough Bros will forever be a part of my tales abroad. As an American, one of the quintessential foods to me is pizza. It is one of my favorite, and I enjoy trying all sorts of different kinds. Often when traveling abroad though, I find “American” pizza is hard to find. Granted, pizza is not American (lol), but I want more than Margherita pizza when I leave the country. I came here with the Purdue All American Marching Band for St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dublin for 2018, and so we were searching for good pizza to try in Galway, one of our stops on our tour through Ireland. My group of friends and I were pleasantly surprised with The Dough Bros- the atmosphere is lovely, clean, and interesting with decor. Further, I was 20, and underage in America to drink. But in Ireland, I was of age! The Dough Bros was the place I had my first ever legal drink, a cider, and I had cheese sticks and a pizza after. I included a picture of the sticks and drink I got. The cider was delightful, and the food delicious! I ordered a Margherita (lol), and another kind of pizza just to compare. It was very fresh, with the dough reminiscent of similar pizzas I had from other high-powered pizzerias before in the states. It was exactly what I was seeking abroad when looking for a great pizza, paired also with the delectable drinks and excellent service. The folks behind the counter were so nice to us as well! They had post cards at the time, so I took one with me that I have to this day. When I move it comes with me to be added to my pizza wall. I included a picture of the wall as well, with the Dough Bros postcard in the middle. I intend to return when I come back to Ireland, and try more of their food and what looks to be an updated menu!

04/04/2024: Delicious pizzas with very unique flavor combinations. Hail Caesar and Pep Guadri were both excellent, highly recommend! Only critique is the marinara sauce was a bit lacking. There can be a long queue/line during busy times so expect a wait.

24/03/2024: To start with the place looks very nice and fresh. The staff is polite and friendly. The food is underwhelming though, the 1/2 duckling I had is very dry so I wasn't able to finish it. The negative surprise is the way this restaurant has structured their menu, it is confusing at least. It is not possible to pick the dish on its own as they bundled them in obligatory 2 courses for Eur 31.50 and 3 courses for Eur 39.50, but the evil is in the detail. Some of the dishes require a supplement which is written in a way that it is not clear at all. As they only put numbers and do not add currency to it. Like they put "supplement 8" - which to me is absolutely not self explanatory. (See the menu photo). Also even if you go for the '3 courses' option they charge it at the end as a 2 course meal + supplement. So in our case we went for 2 courses plus 3 courses meal, which according to the menu should be Eur 31.50+Eur39.50= Eur 72. However when the bill arrived it was for almost 100 Euro as they added 3 more supplements! I understand they are on the mission to maximize each check, but cheating with the menu this way is on the border of a modern day robbery. Considering this I for once will not go there again.

27/03/2024: A lively little spot on a Wednesday night. We took up an area out the back. There's a nice smoking area for those who smoke. Had a lovely glass of Merlot.

The high standard of food and service remains evident after several years. Food: We sampled six different main courses, all of which proved to be delicious. Service: The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience despite the high volume of patrons. Ambiance: The restaurant offered a vibrant yet comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a celebratory occasion. Special Touches: A complimentary glass of champagne for each mother on Mother's Day was a lovely gesture. Additional Notes: Gallo & Galetti caters well to both large groups seeking a reunion venue and couples desiring a more intimate setting. The spacious layout allows for flexibility in table arrangements. Recommendation: Highly recommended. I will certainly return for another enjoyable dining experience.

26/03/2024: Steak was overcooked, ordered medium but received well done. The 17. seafood risotto, second rise dish on the rice menu had multiple fishbones in it. Was told its expected as its a pre-bought Frozen fish mix. So BE AWARE of that! I had the Cabonara, it was lovely. Atmosphere is nice, though quite loud. Other lovely places to choose from so won't be coming back.

23/03/2024: My God Son celebrated his 21st here with a meal. I've never been here and was really impressed. I'm not a foodie and will not be precocious and pretend that the calamari was under cooked or over cooked or that the risotto could have done with a few minutes more and all that nonsense. All I know about good food is that it's is really good or really bad. The food in That's Amore is really, really good. And I'll say one thing though don't go for pizza try something new you won't be disappointed by the the the Pizza is really good too. Staff are lovely and ate very much part of the ambience. I'm going again real soon. I don't take pictures of food that really annoys me when people do that besides the food was soon good we didn't even talk until we were finished. So here's a picture of my dog Teddy.

14/03/2024: Fantastic Italian!!! Great food, great staff. One of the best places for an authentic Italian in Dublin. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere for food in Malahide.
