18/08/2025: Good restaurant, very good, there were 10 of us, good atmosphere, the dishes are also delicious

15/08/2025: I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're craving genuine Italian cuisine. I ordered the carbonara, which immediately raised concerns when I saw cream and garlic listed in the ingredients on the menu. Despite my reservations, I decided to give it a chance since I was looking forward to some pancetta. Unfortunately, the dish arrived with small pieces of bacon instead of proper pancetta, served over spaghetti. My girlfriend tried the spicy beef ragu, which felt like an unnecessary and inauthentic twist on a classic dish. We also ordered the calamari for €11, only to receive what was clearly frozen calamari. Completely unacceptable at that price point. Overall, the food felt overpriced for what amounted to basic preparations that I could easily make better at home. If you're seeking authentic Italian flavours, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

04/08/2025: Ordered two pizzas on Deliveroo. N'duja is fine, though every second slice has the n'duja which was a bit scabby. The Bianco pizza has potato on it that is massively undercooked. We've had to pick the potato off as a result which was wasteful. Other issue is that the bases here aren't crispy at all. It's very gloopy and doughy. Think they're banging these out without properly cooking. Major shame as the quality of the toppings (bar the raw potato) are really good.

04/08/2025: Very busy pizza kitchen at the Franciscan Well Brewery. Lively and busy atmosphere when visited midweek in summer. Very good pizza with great flavoursone toppings, but you have to get into a queue to order.

02/09/2025: Yeah,, Very good service, food very good, nice n relaxed. Olives. 2x main course, 1x dessert, 1x coffee and a 30euro bottle wine, total 103 euro. Thks for a good night

18/08/2025: Lovely night out in Rossinis great atmosphere good food and drinks cocktails looked amazing and outside seating very nice if wanted. Service warm and friendly will go again!

17/08/2025: I recently visited this amazing Ristorante and it was certainly the best experience I will 100% recommend to anyone who is looking to enjoy the best food and ambience. Food quality and service is outstanding!

05/09/2025: I visited Il Padrino for dinner as a group of four people. I would recommend reserving a table. The restaurant fills up with diners very quickly after 6pm. There is a great variety of dishes to choose from. We ordered Arancini, or deep fried rice balls, and garlic bread for starters. Both were delicious, though we would have welcomed more than two rice balls on the plate. For the main course, everybody ordered something different: risotto, tagliatelle, chips. We all enjoyed our meals. I had tagliatelle with chicken and mushroom sauce, "Tagliatelle al Pollo", which was exceptional and the garlic bread accompanying the dish was nice. The staff were all friendly and very quick to fulfill our requests for extra water and sharing plates. One nice improvement to the menu would be the addition of photos of most or all dishes on the menu. It makes it easier for people unfamiliar with Italian dishes to understand what is on offer. I would recommend Il Padrino to anyone looking to eat out at an Italian restaurant in the heart of Cork City.

19/08/2025: Very good, the food is very good, the portions are very large, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. There are various prices, we ordered a risotto and a pasta dish, they are served with garlic bread, the quantities are abundant and about €20 each dish.

12/09/2025: Excellent food which was very reasonably priced for lunch. Dessert and cocktails were great too. Waitress was particularly nice and helpful. Would highly recommend.

10/09/2025: Most of the food is gorgeous, with the exception of the pizza as it feels very goodfellas frozen vibe. Regretted not going for a pasta dish.

09/08/2025: Nice atmosphere, authentic background music, complimentary bites of bread offered on arrival. Great selection on the menu, we stayed with the Italian selection and had pizza & pasta, both delicious. Service was outstanding, lovely guys running this place, natural, welcoming & funny. Overall a lovely evening. Will definitely return.

04/08/2025: The highlight of our stay in town. A fantastic meal by candlelight, served up by a team of uber friendly and welcoming staff. Could not recommend enough.

12/09/2025: Was told they had a big order and refused at the door. Do not visit.

09/09/2025: Went for a GF BBQ chicken pizza and an utter disappointment, toppings were minimal and in the centre of the pizza, the base was just horrible dry and frankly difficult to chew, Cheap and Nasty is all I can say
