18/08/2026: We visited Ireland to celebrate my 50th. Visited this cute place by the ocean. The just say that absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and service. A little gem of a place. While dining caught a glimpse of a seal just hanging out on a rock.
03/08/2026: Good meal in here. Got the meatballs and pasta carbonara. Food was good. Got two glasses of coke. I booked a table for 8pm. It was starting to get busy but service was good.

17/09/2026: Pretty decent stop if you’re in need of a quick bite. Kind of reminded me of Joe’s pizza in New York. You can get by the slice or whole pizzas though the slices are a good size. Not a whole lot of seating and it can get packed fast. Glad we had lunch here!

Perfect location to eat before or after the Kilmainham Goal Tour.
We ordered four pasta dishes – they were delicious!
No long wait times!
05/08/2026: As soon as you enter they warn you that they only take cash, regular food (frozen pizza), extortionate prices and on top of that they charge you a 10% service charge. €100 for 4 pizzas, 3 soft drinks and 1 Irish Coffee. We don't recommend going there, unless you like being robbed.

15/09/2026: Sophie's is an amazing place, great atmosphere and great service. The only criticism is that the French Toast is way too simple to be €17, I'd recommend adding some cream or whipped cream to make it worth it the price. Mine came with 2 small Toast, 2 sliced strawberries and syrup. Apart of that, everything else is great!!
14/09/2026: A lovely birthday evening for drinks at Sophie’s. A big thank you to Mario for his hospitality and looking after us on my partner’s birthday!
We had already ate, therefore just drinks but would definitely return for a meal! Amazing atmosphere as well.

30/08/2026: What a hidden gem! This tiny Italian restaurant transports you straight to Italy through its incredible flavours and atmosphere - and Claudio makes sure you feel that way from the moment you step in.
Every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavour, but the tiramisù... absolutely out of this world. It feels like an Italian nonna prepared it just for you right then and there. A 10/10 experience!
Just a heads-up: they don’t sell alcohol, but they are BYOB, so feel free to bring what you'd like to drink.
Walk-ins are accepted but reservations are recommended.

Such a lovely little café with a really warm and welcoming atmosphere! The coffee was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. The service was also fantastic — the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of.

ETA Went back again last night with my daughter. We had a lovely time, food was oce again amazing and there was a few nice touches that we were delighted with, won't say what they were or everyone will be looking for them☺️ but suffice to say, the staff were very attentive and helpful and I look forward to going back again. 10/08/2025: My partner and I left vomiting all night and extreme stomach sickness after eating here, no manager to speak to, to help deal with this situation, was left speaking to the assistant manager who has no clue what she is doing and accused me of lying just to get my money back, told me to go get proof that im sick from the doctor, said her name was Monica just talked over me the whole time on the phone and acuused me of lying and was shouting at me the whole phonecall, absolutely horrible person, has no place in a customer service job, please dont eat in this dump unless you want to be sick and abused

22/04/2026: Visited this restaurant in June 2021 on a visit to Dublin and had a lovely meal with probably the best cheesy Garlic bread I have ever had.fast forward to today on another visit to Dublin when we walked to the restaurant looking forward to most of the same only to be told the kitchen was closed….. it was 8.44pm….. apparently they closed at 8.30pm. This restaurant has very little online presence other than Google which advised it closed at 9. Very disappointing to not be accommodated.
