The best restaurantsof italian in Dublin

03/01/2026: Unfortunately we wont be back again as the food was so disappointing. We ordered a buttermilk chicken burger, a couple of pizzas and chicken tendors. The chicken in the burger was exactly like a frozen birds eye chicken fillet...not what you expect when eating out. Both pizzas were tasteless and we didnt even finish either of them which says a lot. Staff were friendly and nice!

30/12/2025: It's a good restaurant, the food is good for the price, but sometimes the staff are a bit cold and unfriendly.

10/01/2026: Where to even begin? 1) Michelin-star prices for frozen microwave dinner quality food - supermarket budget own brand frozen calamari with the consistency / texture of minced meat, 5 pieces for €13 - seafood "risotto" made with basmati rice, 4 small frozen prawn tails and no other pieces of seafood, copious amounts of cream and salt, taste and texture more akin to a cheap curry - ravioli in canned cream of tomato soup masquerading as a sauce - chewy, supermarket budget own brand quality olives on soggy bruschetta - tiny pizza with a soggy base, dried cheese, hardly any toppings, could well have been frozen, for €23!! - no bread / anything similar for the table - 2 coke zeros both served flat, I suspect poured from a 2L family value bottle rather than from cans 2) Hidden 10% service charge for a table of two 3) Poorly ventilated, stuffy and smelly space - you will leave with your clothes and hair stinking of deep fried fast food 4) Had to ask several times for water for the table - it eventually came after we had finished our meal, I suspect just another subtle way to squeeze more money out of you by ordering drink refills instead It's baffling how this tourist trap has gotten any positive reviews outside of bots / fake accounts by the owners / friends of same or perhaps tourists who only had time for airplane food on their flight to Ireland to compare it to.

04/01/2026: Had dinner here this evening with my son, my God it was amazing. From the time we walked in until we walked out the door our waitress Alex was very attentive, serving with a big smile on her face making us feel so welcome and looked after. For starters we had the king prawns, chowder and shared a garlic bread, it was devine....from the first bite until the bowls/plates were empty the flavours were amazing 🤤 i'd have asked for seconds only we had mains on the way.Mains were Raviolli and Octopus Spaghetti, both were exquisite, again the flavours were amazing, the chef really knows how to put flavours together. A couple of glasses of Pinot Grigio to wash it down we moved onto Dessert, we shared the profiteroles,my favs,presented well and tasted delish. A great hidden little gem with great food,service and atmosphere, easily accessed from multiple bus routes,limited parking also available. We will definitely be back again to try the rest of the menu 😁

10/01/2026: Great experience! I loved the sauna and after a delicious caprese, polished with hot chocolate. Very enjoyable to have a chat with Farzan, he creates very warm atmosphere in the place. ✨🩷

28/11/2025: I love this coffee shop! The staff are so kind, the chai latte is amazing, and next time I’m definitely trying their soup; it smells incredible! I can hear them making it fresh in the kitchen right now

12/01/2026: VERY DISAPPOINTING dinner at Sophie’s Rooftop in Dublin. I ordered chicken parmigiana with pasta. The pasta was just okay, nothing special, honestly something we could easily make at home. The chicken parmigiana was the biggest letdown: the chicken was dry, not juicy at all, and completely lacking in flavor. For a restaurant at this level and price point, the food was well below expectations. Overall, the dinner did not live up to what we expected, and I WOULD NOT RETURN based on the FOOD QUALITY.

08/01/2026: I was there a few weeks ago, the Brazilian waitress was very kind, but unfortunately I don't remember her name. The food was impeccable and the drinks, even though overpriced, were also great

28/12/2025: Absolutely love this place it is an amazing restaurant. The food is always excellent and reasonably priced. There are great specials and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

06/01/2026: A small restaurant but located in the Centre of Dublin.We Haven to admit That the ravioli and pizza were fantastic!!!A huge disadvantage was the poor cleanliness in the restaurant.Glueing tables,glasses and wine Glasses badly cleaned the same with cutlery.Toilet withouth toilet paper and unpleasent smell.You can see that the floor has not Been washed long time.A very nice Old man(probably the owner)and very kind and professional Young man waiter.We will Come back for great pizza and super Coffee.

21/01/2026: Where to start? The service was incredibly slow like slower than a tortoise. The food was very bland and lacked flavour for the money we are paying. Overall did not enjoy the experience of this place and I suggest not to go for it.

21/01/2026: The service was below par. We waited for 45 mins to get one dish served. No staff approached for 20 mins to take our order. The food was not worth the money paid as it lacked flavour. The dough balls quantity was very limited and no other flavouring. Pizza was very bland in taste and the base of the pizza was not that great. Overall, quality and service is very very bad and I would not advise visiting Milano.
