04/08/2025: A true Italian food treasure in the middle of Dublin. Loved the Bruschetta, handmade Pizza, dessert and lovely service - recommend to call in advance as dough and food are freshly prepared based in demand.

03/08/2025: A true taste of Italy in Dublin Caffè Cagliostro is such a gem! It’s one of the few spots in Dublin where you can enjoy a truly authentic Italian coffee experience. The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care—exactly what you’d hope for in a proper Italian café. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with that genuine European café feel that makes you want to linger a bit longer. It’s the perfect place to pause during a busy day, whether for a quick espresso or a relaxed cappuccino. The only challenge is that it can be hard to find a seat sometimes, which just goes to show how popular and loved this place is. Overall, if you’re in Dublin and craving a real Italian coffee, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

30/07/2025: I'm only posting this photo because... at Caffè Cagliostro you can find good Italian coffee, and for us Italians, this photo represents everything, in my opinion. The Italian staff are very friendly and open to conversation, even about music and instrumentals. When I return to Dublin, I'll definitely be back.

06/07/2025: To be honest I dined here for years the music is great takes me away and soothes my stress , the food tastes good but as soon as I get home I’m on the loo and I’m letting it go like I’m a fireman’s hose and it’s every time , same as my partner she’s in the loo now … shouting at me .. her words ( there’s something wrong with that place I’m telling you … maybe it’s the fuzzy drink out of date … who knows but I have to give 2 stars as it’s kind of a cleanse for your guts inside but to be honest I won’t go back now as for the price could of gone to the forge. Forgot the garlic mushrooms are basically deepfat fried with garlic sauce on the side … now come on lads..

16/09/2025: Food was nice but service was slow and the last two times we have come here we have been sat in the childrens / family area because we have a child with us. This area can be very loud and a bit chaotic both times we visited we were sat beside a teenagers party not very nice experience for having dinner

14/09/2025: Very disappointed with my experience yesterday. Waited a very long time and eventually had to ask a waiter to take my order. Starter came and wasn’t a generous portion for the price of it. Eventually after over thirty minutes of waiting for my pizza it came, the flavours were nice but yet again wasn’t very generous with the toppings but most disappointingly was the base. The pizza base was paper thin and not good quality. Unfortunately this wasn’t an enjoyable experience.

08/09/2025: Fantastic little Italian restaurant. Well appointed with the staff providing a warm, hospitable and genuine welcome. The menu is large enough to provide choice but small enough to show that it’s all freshly cooked/baked. The Diavola pizza I had was probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten. I’d definitely return, thanks for a wonderful meal!

01/08/2025: Really tasty toasties, 10/10 perfect size, got for takeaway and still came with crisps, good value for money as far as Dublin lunch places go, really nice staff. Will definitely be back!

29/09/2025: Good restaurant food-wise but we had the unpleasant surprise of being charged 10% tax on the handwritten bill because there were 13 of us under the pretext of an additional workload that was not specified at the start, so almost €50 more on a large bill of €450. We feel a bit taken for fools. We didn't want to dwell on it as we don't speak English or French, but the prices are high enough to avoid this kind of tax, it's theft

25/09/2025: We decided to give this restaurant another try as we haven't been in about 15 years and couldn't remember any reasons for not going back. Positives: - Nice table upstairs by the window (as requested) with great views of the sea front - Good service. The waiter was attentive and our food came out in good time. Negatives: - Quiet ambiance. - We had decided to have an early bird meal but had to ask the server for the menu when we sat down as we were only given the a la carte menu - Early bird menu appeared to be good value but we noticed a supplement of 3 euro to add a side to a main dish. The chicken portion was small and came with nothing else if you did not opt to pay for a side. A la Carte is expensive for what you get. I added prawns to a pizza and it cost 4.50 euro for 4 x prawns. I also opted for a side of seasonal veg at 7 euro and was extremely disappointed with a sad looking side plate of 2 x bits of brocolli, 3 x carrot sticks and a baby potato sliced in half. Not worth 7 euro. The desserts were also expensive at 9 euro. The restaurant food and service is good but I think that the food is overpriced for what you're getting and based on the pricing alone, I would not be likely to dine here again.

16/09/2025: My go to place for the best pizza in Dublin. Their Veggie, Margarita and fungi pizzas are delicious. Don’t forget to try the tiramisu which is a perfect end to the meal

14/09/2025: The service was a bit off-putting. We were two dining and asked the bill to be split based on what we each bought, and the server told us to do the calculations ourselves..... 😒 Additionally, we had a 10% service charge, which was not made clear to us beforehand. Also, for some reason, the prices on the menu do not have tax included into them so be prepared for a bill larger than you will expect to pay. Nevertheless, the food was good, so as long as you get lucky with your server, it's not a bad place to visit.

11/09/2025: I don’t know if I was just incredibly hungry but I swear that was one of the best Pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Yes I’ve been to Italy before but goddamn. Amazing Also just a terribly nice guy working there!
