The best restaurantsof italian in Dublin

15/05/2026: Been here a couple of times and pizza is amazing, no complains about the product you’re offering but just came in for a slice and I know customers can be annoying but it doesn’t entitle staff to be as rude as to shout at us when the place was literally empty. Ordered from a guy at the til and all good but my two friend behind, that ordered from a bearded guy behind the pizza counter, were both shouted and put in a rush for no reason, I was still paying my pizza and then this super rude staff member was screaming like crazy and seriously no other costumers queueing. After all that unnecessary drama I went outside to grab a table, while my friends were paying, and a couple of homeless came demanding their sits without even ordering and nobody was there to look after the place, felt super abused twice in less than 2 minutes. When came back in looking for my friends and a seat, staff were already shouting at us to collect the slices that of course weren’t hot enough, felt like I wasn’t allowed to even ask to warm them up or someone would shout at me again Definitely not coming back and for sure will make sure friends don’t do it considering how many new pizza places open every month in Dublin

12/05/2026: A little hole in the wall place, which isn't a problem. The pizza was ok at best though, so don't let the long lines out the door fool you, especially for a late night snack.

02/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! I had the Rustica pizza and the Torta di Banoffi for dessert, and frankly, both were delicious. You might think the dessert would be too sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to eat! I highly recommend it, especially since the service was very friendly and there was a beautiful sea view!

15/02/2026: I didn't know this place existed in the Dean, nice atmosphere, nice layout, staff were friendly and efficient, a nice selection of food. Pricey, but normal for dublin. It lost marks for me as myself and my friend ordered 2 jameson and ginger ale. The whiskey was definitely watered down, I could barely taste the whiskey. This was the same with both of them. My other friends ordered cocktails and there was more ice than anything. So, food was great, drinks not so great, probably won't go there again because of this or if i do I will order beer.

15/02/2026: I went there for dinner and the place was pretty full (we had a reservation, I recommend doing the same). We were sat quickly and the service was very good. I had the calamari as an appetiser and it was the perfect start to my meal. As the main I ate the gnoccetini with red pesto and this was the best thing I ate there. I recommend trying it for yourself ! They also make a good amount of drinks.

09/05/2026: We ordered a pizza to share and the quantity was sufficient, very thin crust with a unique flavor.

19/04/2026: We had our meal on a warm , sunny Sunday afternoon. We had visited the restaurant the last time we were in the area and were impressed so decided to try it again. We were delighted with our meal. We were a party 3. We had pate and brusetta to start. The mains were chicken arrabiatta and chicken risotto. For dessert we shared sticky toffee pudding and panacota and followed it with various coffees. The food was beautifully presented, very tasty and very reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed .

25/04/2026: I had a very good experience in the restaurant. As Italian I can say it's authentic and delicious, the service was fantastic and all my family enjoyed the food. I will definitely come back soon 😉 Un saluto a Domenico :)

06/04/2026: Dropped in for a bit of dinner and couldn’t fault it. The place itself is grand...clean, relaxed, and not too noisy so you can actually have a proper chat. Staff were sound out, friendly without being over the top. Overall, a cracking little place. Will 100% be back again.

17/04/2026: I visited this restaurant with my partner on Friday night, just before 9pm. We were really looking forward to a nice dinner based on the positive reviews about the food and service. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. As we approached the entrance, a staff member who had been outside smoking saw us coming. Instead of speaking to us, she immediately rushed inside and flipped the sign on the door from “open” to “closed.” What made this particularly upsetting was not just being turned away, but the way it was handled. There was no communication, no courtesy, and no basic respect. A simple explanation—such as the kitchen closing soon—would have been completely understandable. Instead, the behavior felt dismissive and unwelcoming. The restaurant advertises that it is open until 10:30pm, so this added to the confusion and frustration. If closing times differ in practice, that should be clearly communicated. More importantly, customers should be treated with basic decency and professionalism. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve had in Dublin. I sincerely hope the management reviews how staff interact with customers, because this was not acceptable.
