Dublin
20/01/2026: Had Frutti di mare tagliatelle. Loved it. Very friendly staff. Place was packed.
18/01/2026: WOW! We ate at this restaurant tonight! It was excellent, I highly recommend it. The service was quick even though the restaurant was full, the pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauces were delicious. And the price is really reasonable! We'll definitely be back and we highly recommend it!!

Wallace's Taverna

Dublin
02/01/2026: Excellent Italian cuisine. We had bruschetta, cheeses, pizza, and pasta Bolognese. Everything was excellent. The service was particularly friendly, unlike anything we've experienced in this city before. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back! Best regards from Vienna/Austria
14/12/2025: Had dinner with friends last night, staff are excellent and pizza is amazing 🤩 Very disappointed with the bread being served with bruschetta and boards. The bread served was tasteless - where is the rustic bread gone. The tiramisu was dreadful, biscuits were dry and hard, not enough of the creamy element and overall not a tiramisu you expect in a rustic restaurant like this. We have eaten here many times over ghe years and know how good these elements used to be

Grano

Dublin
20/12/2025: Excellent Italian food. Great service 👏
15/12/2025: Pasta is the best in town. However, I feel like the quality lowered down in few things like the complementary bread at the beginning (before they brought more quantity and olive oil where now they serve a small portion of focaccia). Also, quite expensive the focaccia for the portion. They used to have bigger portions of desserts where now the cannolo comes in a small millegoglie. The tiramosu used to had a delicius crushed dark chocolate and last time it came with one that seemed like the milk Cadbury one from the celebration boxes. Hoping that they keep the amazing standard on the little details that they used to have. Finally, the attention and atmosphere there is amazing. They make you feel like home.

Bellagio

Dublin
05/01/2026: Staff are incredibly vivacious and attentive. Food amazing.
03/01/2026: This is our “go to” in Terenure - we love the food and the service. Ricardo always makes us feel warm and welcome and we love the presentation and the food. We come all the way from Canada many times and never skip Bellagio in Terenure. I’d post a pic of one the dishes we had but cannot find that option here - Gracie mille, Bellagio!

NoLIta

Dublin
14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.
13/09/2025: Great sevice lovely food unreal cocktails and great vibes

Oliveto

Dublin
15/12/2025: It was good. Pizza chef was ill so there was a little wait between courses, but that was fine as we were in good company. Julia who served us was pleasant and attentive.
15/12/2025: Mediocre, overpriced for the pasta I got. Could have made a better dish at home.

Gino's

Dublin
19/01/2026: We came here for some gelato when in Dublin. There are a couple of the Gino's around town and we came here as the pomegranate sorbet has had my name on it since we arrived. It was just over €5 for one scoop. We had a sample of the white chocolate and pistachio and bought a scoop of the vanilla and pomegranate sorbet. This was so sweet and delicious this flavour, I wish this was more popular. Would really recommend as a refreshing sorbet
17/01/2026: Donaghy was so nice to myself and my daughter. Think they had a little trouble with a crowed of teenagers in the shop but he assured us if they bothered us he would have security deal with them.

Milano

Dublin
30/12/2025: Milano was the worst possible choice for a family gathering. From the very beginning the experience was terrible. We were served by a waiter (possibly Chinese or Korean, not sure about his nationality) who behaved very arrogantly and even managed to mix up our order. We ordered 4 large pizzas and sauces, but what we received was shocking. The pizzas had almost no toppings at all — even cheap mass-market pizzas have more filling for a much lower price. The dough was absolutely awful, and these pizzas have nothing in common with Italian food, despite the Italian name of the place. The glasses were dirty, clearly not properly washed. The sauces were served in small plates, and the portions were completely inconsistent — some plates had almost no sauce at all. We were sitting near the open bar area, and towards the end of our visit they took out the trash right next to us. The smell was disgusting and completely ruined the atmosphere. While waiting for our order, we also witnessed a serious hygiene issue: a girl dropped ice for drinks onto the table and then swept it with her hand straight back into the drink jug. If you want to ruin your evening with a bad atmosphere, terrible food, and clear signs of poor hygiene — welcome to Milano. This was actually my second visit; I decided to give them another chance, but it only confirmed how bad this place is. The service is awful, and honestly, any small takeaway near home would be tastier and cheaper. Absolutely horrible experience.
30/12/2025: I was there recently, it's a nice place! The food was great, and our waitress Valeria was super friendly and attentive. She checked in on us just the right amount and made sure everything was good. Her polite attitude really made the experience better. Would definitely come back!

One Society

Dublin
29/12/2025: The place is very cute especially considering the area that doesn't have the most fancy restaurant and shops, the service was good and the food was surprisingly very good, I usually get a bit disappointed with the burgers, I love them but they tend to be very basic and sometimes disappointing, but the halumni cheese one was perfectly balanced. Also the potatoes were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place if you're around for brunch, unfortunately according to Google the place is only open the weekend, but I know already I will come again to try the pizzas. The chocolate matcha was also a very interesting suprise we don't see in any places.
24/12/2025: We got the pancakes and the granola bowl. My husband loved the pancakes, the bacon is crispy and my granola bowl was nice just wish it was bigger for the price of it (looks big here but the bowl is not deep, more like a plate) Matcha was nice too

Forno 500

Dublin
20/01/2026: We had a fantastic time here. It was my first time and I'm definitely coming back. The food is abundant and rhe flavors amazing. The pizzas live up for thwir fame. The arancini were delicious, the mussels portion was big, the spinach and ricotta lasagna came with a lot of cheese and tomato sauce, perfect, and a small side salad. And the tiramisu was the perfect dessert, they also have lemoncelo of course, ice cream, affogaryo and panna cotta wich I'll try next time. Good selection of wines, also beer and juice. The staff was super nice. We'll be back. It's not a big place so I guess it's better to book in advance depending on the time.
15/01/2026: I'm a creature of habit, so I order Margherita, Guinness, and coffee. Excellent Neapolitan pizza; I can clearly taste the flavors of the ingredients. They're top-quality. The dough is light. For those who don't know, Neapolitan pizza has a soft, high crust, and since, as mentioned, the dough is light, the pizza is a perfect balance of flavor and delicacy. The staff are friendly, kind, and very polite. The place is small but welcoming. Dining inside, but at the small tables overlooking the street, is truly pleasant.

Cafe Topolis

Dublin
19/01/2026: Wow. The best Italian food I’ve ever had in a restaurant and fantastic service, can’t recommend enough!
19/01/2026: The service was amazing, absolutely zero complaints whatsoever. However, I ordered the Fettuccine ala Carbonara as I have in the past and I was very disappointed. Usually it’s my favourite thing on the menu but this particular time there was an undeniable metallic taste off the dish. I unfortunately couldn’t see past it. Again, service was phenomenal but the food left a lot to be desired.
