06/09/2025: Stylish Setting, But Value is Slipping Sparks Bistro is undeniably a beautiful place—inside, it's elegant and thoughtfully designed, creating an upscale atmosphere that really makes for a special evening out. However, I've noticed a shift over time: the portion sizes have gotten noticeably smaller, while prices have remained high, which makes the value feel less satisfying than it once was. It's tempting to go for the ambiance, but it feels like you're paying more for the décor than the meal. All that said, if you're after a visually impressive spot and don't mind spending a bit more, Sparks still delivers on atmosphere. Just be prepared for smaller servings that may not meet your expectations for the price.

19/09/2025: Pizza Margherita DOP, Spaghetti Prawn & Zuccini,Rigatoni alla Norma and Spaghetti Carbonara, tiramisú, chocolate mousse, all was delicious. I loved the excellent attention of the waitress Isabela, receiving us with a smile, being very kind, helpful, even though the carbonara was not on the menu, she told us that she would ask the chef if he could do it for us. Thank you Isabela and thank you Chef. I will recommend your restaurant to all my friends and family.

11/09/2025: Cocktails were great, but the staff was rude and non-accommodating making this not a spot worth visiting. We walked in as a group of 2 and were immediately sat at the bar (great!). We had a friend coming to meet us as there was an empty barstool beside us, we checked with the bartender and he said no problem (again bartender was great). Within a couple of minutes of our friend sitting down the manager (possibly just some rude employee) told us we could not use the third barstool as it’s reserved for “walk ins”. It is a terrible experience when you are told you can do something by one employee and then have another come and tell you can’t do the exact same thing in a totally rude and unfriendly manner. There were two more similarly contradictory situations between employees and us that came of as rude and unwelcoming. I would not waste your time or money here unless you are in the mood for unkind hospitality.

09/09/2025: We had an amazing time at The Blind Pig. It is truly a speakeasy. The atmosphere and the vibe created is exceptional. The cocktails stood out, every ingredient/note was felt in every sip. Right ingredients used to make every cocktail made. There was also a live singer and at first the song was played so well we thought it's recorded but she was singing live. That was a great experience as well. Food was good too but the cocktails and the atmosphere of the place stood out more for me.

14/09/2025: Service was appalling, was trying to order a drink was asked to move certain area so I did. Then proceeded to get ignored by the bar staff who asked me to move in so I asked why, again because I was “not in the que” even though there was no designated Que here sign. Didn’t get name but very distinct staff member, Round glasses and mullet working upstairs by the smoking area absolutely awful service. All could have been avoided by better communication.

16/08/2025: It was my first time in Bellagio, and I will definitely go back if I want to eat out in the area. I will also recommend it to my friends. The red wine we chose (Ripasso) was excellent, and so was the food. Very generous portions for the main courses and the chocolate ice cream was really good (and very reasonably priced).

02/08/2025: Valeria our server is outstanding. We dined here prior to moving into our apartment and her fabulous service and good cheer convinced us that we were moving into the right neighborhood. We have been back multiple times since and have been fortunate to have Valeria as our server. The food and her fellow staff members are as first class as her. We will be back often and encourage you to visit as well.

28/09/2025: 2025 - we were back in Dublin which means a visit to Zizzi. We made a reservation online. I loved my cocktails. We shared the meatball started (delicious!!) and a rustico pizza. So good. Friendly staff. Delicious dinner. We do recommend reservations as this restaurant is always popular. 2024 - We always visit Zizzi when we’re in Dublin. I’m not a pizza fan but I love theirs. We each had a salad and then shared a rustico pizza…delicious with its ample toppings and super thin crust. Also love the seasoned pasta crisps that came with our drinks. It was super busy but we were seated quickly, the service was friendly and efficient. We’ll be back.

05/09/2025: I had high hopes for Wood Fire Café, especially with the promise of wood-fired pizza, but sadly, this visit was far from impressive. Let’s start with the service - it was shockingly poor. After being seated, we waited for over 10 minutes without so much as a menu, bread, or drinks. When we asked about the bread and olives that were served to other tables, the manager stepped in, dismissing us completely. He curtly told us it wasn’t part of the service, despite it being offered to everyone else. We asked to order it, but it never arrived. There’s no excuse for that kind of disregard for customers. As Ashley Chow put it in her review: “The worst place I have ever been. Not recommended. Very dirty, and the middle-aged man who is working there is very unprofessional. He was very rude to the staff and yelling at them. So disappointed with this place.” This manager’s behavior was not only rude but also incredibly unprofessional. He was seen yelling at the staff, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. As for the pizza - it was a letdown. A wood-fired pizza should have a crisp, slightly charred crust, with toppings that sing in harmony. But this was soggy, cold, and lacked the depth of flavor you’d expect. The dough wasn’t properly cooked, and the cheese? Barely a whisper. It was more like a sad pile of ingredients than anything close to a pizza. Throughout the meal, I couldn’t shake the feeling that we were unwelcome. The manager made us feel like a burden, and even the server seemed uneasy, likely because of his treatment. It’s clear this café has some serious issues when it comes to customer care. Wood Fire Café has potential, but with poor service, an unprofessional manager, and subpar food, it’s a hard one to recommend. Hopefully, they take a long, hard look at their approach and turn things around.
