16/07/2025: The food was good got a pizza and it was nice,the dough is very light and tasty, however the service is just amazing if it’s the employees talking to the customers or the employer / chef talking to his employees, a lot of jokes from the chef to his employees which is very nice of him and he wasn’t acting bossy or anything so it’s a great atmosphere there. would highly recommend this place

25/07/2025: Food was at a good standard and plentiful. However they did not honour our hop on hop off bus 2 for 1 ticket. We were told that we didn't tell them on arrival about our ticket and so we didn't choose our meals from their select menu of hop on bus ticket holders. Rubbish stingy attitude. Beware.

06/07/2025: Pizza absolutely failed. €20 to eat a pizza with ridiculous toppings, 2 slices of ham, very acidic and unpleasant tomato, not to mention the Mozzarella insistence. The dough is biscuity, not at all leavened and absolutely not digestible. It's a shame because the location is crazy and in the past (about 1 year ago) the pizza was good and pleasant. Not recommended for a very demanding Italian public, if you are a tourist and are satisfied then it's fine, but there are millions of places even in Temple bar where they do it much better and that says it all.

07/07/2025: This place deserves all the love! Amazing wine list, excellent food, cute, romantic atmosphere, reasonable prices. On a quiet street off bustling Temple Bar area. If you don't want something touristy, this is your spot for a great dinner!

21/06/2025: Love love love Piglet, the food, wine and service are always top notch. We had a selection of starters, duck gizzards, devilled eggs, prawn pil pil and the paté, all were delicious. We had a bottle of white with the starters and left the owner choose the red for the main, both were lovely. For mains two of us shared the Côte de Boeuf and the other two mains were Ragu and Cacio de Pepe, all were absolutely delicious, the Beef was cooked perfectly. Even though we were stuffed we shared tonka bean creme brulee and some dessert wine. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

17/07/2025: Very rich ice cream. The crepe batter is delicious. We ordered the White Ferrari. Personally, I didn't like that they seal the crepe while it's still very hot, which "cooks" the fruit and loses its flavor; in our case, it was strawberries. It was still very tasty.

29/06/2025: This is a very well presented large restaurant, nice decor and a very lovely setting right on the grand canal and their outdoor seating area is lovely on a bright day. I was here on Saturday and the restaurant was very quiet - hardly four tables occupied and that is very surprising for Dublin. I had the cauliflower soup to start - it was flavoured well and tasted good but was just coloured broth instead of soup - watery. For mains I had the chicken and what arrived was half a piece of chicken that was tough accompanied by a bit of courgette and some mash and jus. The jus was flavourful and mash was really smooth and tasty - but the dish was very disappointing as a whole. My friend had speck and truffle pizza and that was very flavourful and perfectly baked. Overall I might try them for breakfast sometime as the setting is lovely - but the food is nothing to rush back for and the prices are ridiculously high for what you get.

27/06/2025: Wouldn’t have guessed how nice this place was walking up to it - it’s a gorgeous spot overlooking the river - food was excellent - everyone in my group loved what they ordered & some tend to be hard to please! Will be back very soon!

12/07/2025: Food was very good. I had the Katsu Chicken and my friend had the guniesa beef stew. Both of us were impressed by the taste. My Katsu was close to the best I've ever had even the ones made by Japanese people. I tried the beef stew and it was so rich that I almost couldn't handle it. It's well made. If you like that sort of thing it's a must try. Service was excellent. Even though it was busy both bartenders kept asking if we were settled and took our orders as well as helping us know where to sit. This place will be on my list for a lifetime.

30/06/2025: What a lovely lunch spot! Enjoyed every bite of our meals and even dessert. Everything was so fresh and the restaurant had the perfect view of the city. Grazie mille!

10/07/2025: A small (only 4 tables) fine restaurant on a small side street between Castle and Christ Church. There aren't too many pizza and pasta options, but they're super tasty and fresh. For us, the best pizza in Dublin!

26/06/2025: All I wanted was a oat latte with an extra shot, nothing crazy, especially coming from someone who’s worked as a barista for years. But the staff (all Italian, for what it's worth) acted like I’d committed a crime against coffee. You’d swear I walked in asking for a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a man’s hat. The passive-aggression was off the charts. Atmosphere was fine, but hard to enjoy when you’re being horsey-eyed for your coffee order. Felt more like I was being judged than served. Not for me. 22/07/2025: Went there last minute to have seafood linguine and it was fabulous. It was perfect. Servers were charming, atmosphere was cozy, taste is amazing.
