16/09/2024: Had the burrito bowl. The chicken was really good and had lots of flavour. Salsa and salad were very fresh. Service also deserves a mention as staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good value too. I will be returning.

18/11/2024: Best pub in Maynooth! We were in town for a week and went to the pub for a dinner and had a really nice surprise with the quiz night, we had so much fun. We played as España FC!

08/12/2024: We had a wonderful experience at O’Neill’s! The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Great variety on the menu The meal was also good value for money, The kiwi martini was really great Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty burger or a tasty curry, O’Neill’s is a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be back!

08/12/2024: Honestly, I got a beef burger and wasn't that impressed. Maybe a 6.5/10 overall - the meat was good but the bacon was weird/tasteless and the bun was also flavourless. Looked good, but tasted meh. I'd have rated the place 3/5 based on that.... however... I just happened to order chicken tenders as a side. Game changer The chicken tenders are excellent - the best in town, and I dare say the whole county. Seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly; juicy and crisp. Tenders are a 5/5 and saved this review. I know it's a burger place, but just skip the beef if you're going. Get the chicken tenders or the chicken burger (I imagine the chicken burger will be amazing, given how good the tenders are. I think the seasoning on the chicken will make up for the bland bun!)

17/09/2024: All I can say is Heavenly! We ordered a carrot cake from L'Art du Chocolate for our friend's birthday and it was truly the most divinely gorgeous carrot cake any of us had ever had!! From the smooth chocolate mixed into the icing poured over the delectable cake filling topped with beautiful writing was the best birthday present we could have given her!! Just incredible! Thank you❤️

15/12/2024: A group of us had dinner here last night and it was absolutely top notch. The food was incredible, cocktails were made perfectly and the staff were so friendly and fun. If I didn’t live 2 hours away I'd go every weekend! Highly recommend.

13/12/2024: Christmas do. Had to wait a half hour past our booking time in the doorway, sidestepping staff and customers. When our table freed up, we waited another half an hour for any food. In fairness, it was a Friday evening in December. Probably should have expected it. Had the Calamari to start. Was tasty and a good-sized portion. Ordered the battered fish and chips for the main. It was strongly smoked and not to my taste, but entirely my own doing for not reading the menu properly! 🫣 Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Had a sticky toffee pudding to finish. Was very nice. Service was fine. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. All in all, not bad. Would give it another go, but at a less busy time.

05/10/2024: Really enjoyed a delicious vegetarian curry here yesterday. Genuinely friendly staff who took care of all their customers. Fast service and all the desserts are gluten free! Good job, guys!

27/11/2024: I was there yesterday with my friends and the behaviour of a certain employee, that was something that I´ve never seen before.. He literally kicked us out for no reason at all, we were causing no harm to anyone, claiming he´s the manager (obviously not haha, middle aged man, around 50 in a white shirt outside in freezing temperatures doesn´t really sound like it). He was making up reasons to not let us in, even just for the restrooms.. Anyway, this wasn´t my first time there and any other time, everything was fine but this pissed me off and I don´t plan to go there again.

29/10/2024: An excellent place for a coffee if you're waiting for your distillery tour or you just want somewhere to pop in of an afternoon. Excellent coffees, very fresh and delicious baked goods and a nice selection of savoury stuff if you fancy a spot of lunch.

19/11/2024: Nice decor, nice food with dishes we don't usually find on Indian menus. They do food from northern India 🇮🇳. I had a plate 'meat Thaali' with fresh homemade naan bread and several dishes (incl.lamb and chicken) in it and different sauces. It was nice and actually filling. I would recommend it with a nice chilled Cobra.
