11/12/2024: Zambero in Maynooth I recently visited Zambrero in Maynooth and had the signature burrito. It was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and was great value for money. The service was excellent too. I was served by Micheál, who made a fantastic burrito and was friendly throughout. If you’re looking for tasty food and great service, I would highly recommend Zambrero Maynooth!

21/11/2024: I'm from the US and am visiting Ireland for the first time. I love tacos and Mexican style food back home so I decided to try the Irish version of tacos. It was amazing. I had softshell beef tacos with lettuce and cheese and corn and some kind of garlic sauce. They warm the shells until they are just slightly crispy and then fill them with shredded beef and whatever toppings you choose. I had tons of questions because I'm a curious person and I cook at home a lot. Darcey helped me and was so amazing. She was friendly and answered all my questions. Even giving me a rundown of the different spice levels of their various meats. They had a bunch of different sauces that she also described to me so I could have what was a perfect meal. Tasted amazing, filled me up and I had great company too. The staff continued to chat with me a bit about home and stuff. Will definitely be going back for a quesadilla maybe!

23/12/2024: Great pub, It's 5 years since I last posted, but this place has gotten even better. The staff are sublime at every level, the food too, simple proper food. Indeed last week I was with my two golf buddies and they had the bacon and cabbage with all trimmings.......fantastic place. And dancing in the bar too on a Sunday....be prepared for good food, great staff and dancing 🕺 😋

08/12/2024: Called in for an impromptu visit for Sunday lunch. Staff were very pleasant and we were seated immediately and given menus. Our drinks order was taken. We both opted for the gourmet beef burger and fries with a delicious pepper sauce. The burger was gorgeous as were the fries . The pepper sauce complimented the meal perfectly. For dessert I had lemon cheesecake and my partner had Christmas pudding. All in all a perfect lunch.

16/12/2024: My favourite restaurant 🥰 Sometimes we specially drive from Dublin to Maynooth to visit this marvellous place and eat delicious food. Seabass, steaks, salads, wine, champagne, service, atmosphere - everything is perfect 👍 Looking forward to visiting again!

17/09/2024: All I can say is Heavenly! We ordered a carrot cake from L'Art du Chocolate for our friend's birthday and it was truly the most divinely gorgeous carrot cake any of us had ever had!! From the smooth chocolate mixed into the icing poured over the delectable cake filling topped with beautiful writing was the best birthday present we could have given her!! Just incredible! Thank you❤️

16/12/2024: As a frequent customer at Sasta for years, i was pleasantly surprised to see that they added ramen to their menu. With other Irish restaurants in Dublin that “attempt” to make ramen, I was skeptical at first but I was not disappointed. The broth is so deep and authentic. The ramen noodles could be better but my focus was on the broth and the char siu pork. I couldn’t believe what I was eating and where I was. If i told friends and family that I had one of the best ramens ever at a restaurant/cafe in Maynooth they’d think i was mad. Thank you the Sasta team for introducing ramen into their menu and for doing it the right way

13/12/2024: We came here after a spa day and the food & staff are really nice… however the fish tacos is small portioned & is over priced and the matcha was out of stock. Except for the pink matcha but don’t think it’s the same. I would certainly go back again just wouldn’t order the fish tacos. They could add chips to it and it wouldn’t be such a rip off or just reduce the price or something!

08/12/2024: Honestly, I got a beef burger and wasn't that impressed. Maybe a 6.5/10 overall - the meat was good but the bacon was weird/tasteless and the bun was also flavourless. Looked good, but tasted meh. I'd have rated the place 3/5 based on that.... however... I just happened to order chicken tenders as a side. Game changer The chicken tenders are excellent - the best in town, and I dare say the whole county. Seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly; juicy and crisp. Tenders are a 5/5 and saved this review. I know it's a burger place, but just skip the beef if you're going. Get the chicken tenders or the chicken burger (I imagine the chicken burger will be amazing, given how good the tenders are. I think the seasoning on the chicken will make up for the bland bun!)

29/10/2024: An excellent place for a coffee if you're waiting for your distillery tour or you just want somewhere to pop in of an afternoon. Excellent coffees, very fresh and delicious baked goods and a nice selection of savoury stuff if you fancy a spot of lunch.
