31/03/2024: Thought staff were absolutely terrible so rude food was half cooked went to pay and all we got was a look. grease covered my wife's plate and my kids couldn't even eat the dinner never going back again
31/03/2024: Food was swimming in grease. Staff were rude had to ask 4 members of staff for water because they all felt like it was beneath them. Won't be eating here again

27/04/2024: Had a lovely stay in abbeyleix manor hotel, the hotel offers a real relaxing atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature with a walk way threw forest , also nice outdoor sitting areas with an onsite cafe and bar ,platform 77 and Pollys bar ,were you can enjoy a coffee, toastie etc in a very nice decorative space taking in all the lovely nature surrounding you , from the onset of arriving the staff were so friendly , at reception, bar , food orders , the rooms were spacious with lovely decor this was continuous threw the whole hotel , fabulous hotel if your looking for a quiet break away , π

02/02/2024: I've been wanting to try the Guinness here for years and finally got to this week. It's not easy as it doesn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays, and only opens at 1700. I can now confirm that the Guinness did not disappoint and definitely the best pint Portarlington. I hopefully will be back again soon for the very welcoming atmosphere and excellent pints.
