15/01/2026: Cosy restaurant good food. Variety of meals to suit everyone. The desserts was just perfect and elegantly presented. The menu has a variety of Starters and mains. Interesting indoor decor and very attentive staff. Family friendly

23/10/2025: We ate there last night. I couldn't recommend highly enough. We were a party of 3, we had the 1 Anthony Heffernan Medallion beef, 2. Butter Fried Wild Atlantic Sea Bream Served with Chervil, a Sunflower Seed Orzo, Courgette Ribbons, Green Grapes and a serving of Goatsbridge Trout Caviar Sauce 3. The tastiest lentil nutloaf ive ever tasted.💗👏 Portions sized were perfect. Lovely touch to get the fabulous homemade breads and Houmous tasters while waiting. Also great to see local craft beer on offer.

09/10/2025: I went to the poachers the other day and I must say it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, I ordered the filet mignon and I asked for it to be medium rare which they cooked it perfectly, for desert I ordered the vanilla passionfruit cheesecake which was delicious. Highly recommended this to anyone that is thinking of going to the poachers

28/10/2025: A great range of 'hot' barrista coffees and snacks. The Clonakilty sausage rolls which are made with black pudding are very indulgent and definitely worth a try. Always a friendly service with adequate parking & amenities..!!! ❤👍

21/11/2025: I visited The Junction Family Restaurant in Ballina, and as always, I had a beautiful breakfast there. Every time I’m in Ballina, this is my go-to place. The food is always fresh, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel very welcome from the moment you walk in. I really recommend The Junction Family Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and warm hospitality in Ballina!

15/07/2025: Lovely traditional Irish pub. Doesn't seem extraordinary from the outside but there's a lovely, cosy atmosphere inside. There were several pensioners playing cards at the table beside us, which was lovely to see. Service was quick and friendly. I also really liked how all the spirits had clear, individual prices on the shelves... and the Guinness was top notch. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Ballina.
