23/08/2025: Quality coffee, excellent service, kind, thoughtful and friendly staff.

22/08/2025: Enjoyed the pistachio cold latte and we loved the waffles and brownies. A bit pricy though but tasty.

17/08/2025: My wife & I had fish & chips, fish was dry & over cooked, chips packet frozen cheep selection. We have been to Dylans several times over the years but this time the standard of our food i give 1 out of 10.

12/08/2025: Not far from the River Moy. Although surprisingly no Salmon on the menu. However the food was lovely, so we're the staff and the place itself is great.

20/08/2025: We needed four meals to takeaway, two of which had to be vegan and one vegetarian. There was no issue ordering vegan versions. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The sauces were delicious, the vegetables beautifully al dente, the meat tender and flavoursome, and spicy was just the right amount of spicy. The rice was not sticky, not too dry. The re-usable containers are great and will be used again, and again. The price was very reasonable (ca €50 for 4 mains). The ordering process was uncomplicated, the waiting time was just right, the staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again the next time we visit Ballina.

13/08/2025: This Nepalese restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever been to. I ordered dish number 32 — I don’t remember exactly what it was, but it was perfectly spicy and very tasty. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. I recommend it!

26/08/2025: Absolutely love this restaurant. Eaten in Poachers about 10 times over past couple of years and this place is, hands down, my favourite restaurant in the west of Ireland to visit. Everything about it....the foods, the flavours, the wines, the staff, all exceptional. The braised beef cheeks? PUT IT IN MY VEINS! Going again this Friday, and I can't wait!

21/08/2025: The best restaurant we visited in our three weeks in Ireland! We were here with our two children and weren't sure at first if it was a good idea to take them to a high-end restaurant. But from the start, everything worked out great. There's an excellent children's menu, crayons, and something to color in, and the waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, almost Michelin-star quality—but still affordable. The large selection of vegetarian dishes is remarkable. The waiter gave us excellent advice on matching wines for each course; the virgin mojito was also excellent! For anyone looking for something different than an Irish pub with burgers and pizza, this is the place for you!

21/07/2025: Finally found a spot in Ireland that knows how to make proper matcha. I stopped by Mocha Beans during my stay and was honestly impressed. I got the iced vanilla matcha with strawberry purée and cold foam, and it was so good — creamy, smooth, and refreshing without being too sweet. The strawberry at the bottom added the perfect touch of flavor. The young girl working that day was super helpful and patient — she really took her time walking me through all the drink options and made sure I got something I’d like. Turns out they had almost every flavor available (except butter pecan, lol). The service definitely made the experience even better. Overall, this place is a gem. Chill vibe, great drinks, and friendly staff. Whether you’re passing through or staying nearby, it’s definitely worth stopping by — I’ll be back again before I leave.

29/07/2025: The restaurant is very meat-heavy, but vegetarian options are available upon request. Unfortunately, vegan options aren't available. We highly recommend the veggie curry. Not recommended during a football match, as the volume is turned up excessively loud, making conversation impossible.

28/08/2025: Disclaimer: I did not receive any kickback for this review. Delicious food & Speedy, kind service! The manager, possible owner was incredible. He got us seated and grabbed a high chair for our daughter. Our little one was getting Hangry and he constantly took time to smile, say hi, or quickly play with her to keep her happy. The food and coffee were delicious! It was the perfect lunch on our way through town. 10/10

15/07/2025: Lovely traditional Irish pub. Doesn't seem extraordinary from the outside but there's a lovely, cosy atmosphere inside. There were several pensioners playing cards at the table beside us, which was lovely to see. Service was quick and friendly. I also really liked how all the spirits had clear, individual prices on the shelves... and the Guinness was top notch. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting Ballina.

03/08/2025: -a truly fantastic breakfast&coffee but the real stars of the show are the staff. Wonderful special mother daughter team who made us feel so welcome. Would happily eat breakfast here everyday for the rest of time. Class

20/08/2025: So glad we found this restaurant while visiting Ballina. Rang last minute. We were delighted to be offered a high table at the bar which was perfect for us. Food fabulous!! Service fantastic. Surf & Turf, Chowder, Thai red curry gorgeous, Sauces for all our meals where Very Very tasty!!! Love the darker wood in the bar/restaurant it gives a really nice cosy atmosphere. The girl manager was great very attentive, we where well looked after. The kids are still talking about it. Cant wait to return.
