14/06/2025: Food good. The prices are outrageous, €205 for 2 mains and 2 starters with normal drinks and 1 bottle of wine It's more like a coffee shop in terms ambiance. I'd heard a lot about Etto and it might be trading on its past. I'll never go back.

08/06/2025: My mother and I, 2 fussy west cork women when it comes to fish, ate here last month to mark a very profound date. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived. Food choice was really strong, and we found it hard to decide from their seasonal menu which celebrated excellent ingredients for top Irish producers. The Fish main was cooked to perfection, delicately treated as it should be and the flavours were immense. We shared a delicious dessert - main part being a freshly made donut! No photos as we dove straight in. We were driving and the non alcoholic wine choices were very pleasant. All in all a very memorable meal, with zero pretentiousness, Dad would have loved it.

07/06/2025: We had dinner for two last night and it's hard to report without gushing. We skipped starters, instead opting to share snacks. The house sourdough was chewy and flavourful and delicious enough we asked for the remains aa a doggy bag. Hake croquettes with kimchi were complex and delicious, without feeling overloaded with cheesy bechamel. Carlingford oysters were fresh and the little burst of heat from fermented chilli was just right. Organic crisps with anchovy, nduja and teriyaki sounded weird but tasted simply right. I had the sole on the bone with clams, chard, runner beans and tiny cubed fried potatoes. The fish was delicate, buttery without greasiness and the seasoning was spot on. I scoffed the lot. She had the pork chop and the taste I got with a caramelised onion puree was intense and savoury and about as far as possible from the sad, dry tastelessness that the words "pork chop" on a menu often herald. We drank a Didion Aligote from Burgundy. Lip smacking, mineral fresh and perfect. Service was just rightfor the location - the guys knew their stuff but weren't pretentious, were friendly and humorous without being overbearing. Without wine, the best value hundred quid I've spent this year. Already thinking about when we can go again.

11/06/2025: It's a very nice place during the week, but it's very crowded on weekends. It's a very comfortable place with a good atmosphere. But what I most recommend eating there is the lazangña.

16/05/2025: Always been a good pub. Friendly staff, who will bring drinks to your table if you like, and a nice atmosphere. It's a large place, so plenty of room, and quiet corners if that's what you're after. Clean and tidy. Good Guinness, well poured, and a decent looking menu. Just a 10 minute walk from Killiney beach if you need refreshment after a walk. Obviously I'll be going here again when I'm back in the area. Do I go in? Of course Igo Inn!

19/05/2025: Nice little cafe. Crepes are good but mine arrived a bit overdone. Coffee is also good and you can sit outside on a nice day, though the chairs are a bit wobbly 😂. Overall good experience.

14/06/2025: Visiting from Canada 🇨🇦, we chose Nova for my birthday dinner—and it ended up being the perfect final stop before heading home. I can’t say enough about how wonderful both the food and service were. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and efficient. Even though he was managing multiple tables, he made sure to check in with us and ensure everything was just right. A special touch that meant so much: the chef wrote “Happy Birthday” on our sticky toffee pudding—it was such a thoughtful gesture! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. We’re already looking forward to coming back to Ireland, and when we do, Nova will definitely be on our list again!!

09/06/2025: Absolutely lovely wee place, my boyfriend and I ordered a portion of chips and some drinks and both were excellent. The staff are so friendly and polite, and made you feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend.

07/06/2025: A very charming restaurant at first glance, making us think that the high prices on the menu would be justified by quality service and well-prepared, generous dishes. What a disappointment it was to wait an hour and a half before receiving our first course! Fortunately, the manager was quite the professional — thanks to her complete lack of a smile and her unpleasant remarks, she offered us a discount, some water, and a Coke! If you have time to waste and money to throw away, look no further — this is the place for you

18/05/2025: Had a lovely brunch here this morning. The portion size was just right, and even though the staff were clearly busy, they were attentive and welcoming as soon as I arrived. I brought my dog and sat outside beneath a beautiful tree which is a perfect, peaceful setting. I had the eggs with bacon and sausages, served with delicious brown bread. The waitress kindly brought out a fresh bowl of water for my dog, which was a thoughtful touch. I’ve also stopped by a few times for coffee and cake, which have always been great. I saw a review mentioning the vegetable soup, personally, I enjoyed it the time I had it. It’s a light, healthy option, though it might not suit everyone’s taste. It can get busy, but there’s usually plenty of space, and the best part is being able to stroll straight out the back into the Iveagh Gardens.

14/05/2025: Café y pastel de lujo y este lugar era perfecto. Deliciosa hornada casera y excelente café, gente encantadora. Mi hotel estaba cerca, así que desearía haber notado este café antes, ya que habría comido aquí más de una vez. Definitivamente en mi lista de "que hacer" para mi próxima visita.

10/06/2025: On a sunny day, this is the perfect place for a seafood meal. Mussels, seafood tacos, calamari with chorizo, a beef burger, and oysters were all perfect after a hike. The service was very friendly and even managed to chase down dine-in customers (successfully).
