12/12/2024: This week we went to the restaurant that does not look or act like a gourmet restaurant at all. It is very small and to get to the bathroom you have to go through the kitchen. The table is not set properly and is not cleaned between dishes. The food itself is very small and completely tasteless. We tasted both starters, main dishes and desserts that did not satisfy us at all and were within the deal of 78 euros per person. A lot of money for food that is not worth half of it. Also, there was no proper service in the restaurant. We will not return

11/12/2024: Quizás nuestras expectativas eran demasiado altas pero no volvería aquí. No es un restaurante de destino. La popularidad de ETTO es incuestionable, pero el tráfico ha pasado factura a la decoración. Me senté en una mesa tambaleante, mirando una pared blanca cubierta de marcas de rozaduras al lado de un panel de pintura negra desconchada. Es codo con codo con tus vecinos de comedor. Ryan Air se sonrojaría con esta densidad de asientos. El rollo calentado se quemó en el fondo. El queso recién hecho comenzó a ser helado... helado frío en diciembre! El filete vino con un aviso de espera de 45 minutos de la camarera. Con el menú restringido a su menú de Navidad establecido esperaba mucho mejor rendimiento. Disfrutará de los talentos expuestos tanto en frente de la casa como en la cocina, pero marcará sus expectativas.

18/12/2024: The best full Irish breakfast I’ve had in years. All the other food is probably good too but I keep having the breakfast. Fresh and delicious. Nice staff and cheerful vibes. Perfect for Sunday brunch.

06/12/2024: On several occasions I have come here with my family, including three hungry little ones, two aged three and one aged four, and all were delighted not only with the food but also the charming service, and also we have been there in the evening with the same result...excellent!! The Spaghetti Arrabiatta is sensational....it also seemed that a lot of customers are regular, as it often feels like a Party atmosphere.

10/01/2025: The relaxed ambiance and lovely staff make it easy to return often! Hosting our Nollaig na Mban dinner is one of our womens group highlights of the year. Gets the popular vote everytime.

Sophisticated, considered, flavour & texture combinations are matched with ingredients of the highest provenance and quality. 03/01/2025: Very good service. We had lunch there and all of us chose the Clam Chowder. It was good, although I personally would prefer a cream base rather than a tomato base for the soup. But otherwise, it was very good and tasty, with plenty of fresh fish. Service was excellent. Dew

30/12/2024: We enjoyed our food here but thought the portion was very small for the price. Think 20 euro is excessive for ham hock and eggs. Would have expected some toast or a bigger portion for that price. We also went for the sole reason of having one of the Christmas sandwiches, but unfortunately, they weren't available today, which was disappointing. Staff were all friendly. We were seated at a perfect table to fit our pram. Nice festive menu with lots of interesting drinks options, too - non-alcoholic cocktails, mulled wine, mulled cider, etc. On-street parking right next to the café if you're lucky enough to find a space!

24/12/2024: My go to place when it comes to amazing crepes. Everything is made fresh and they have a great variety for both savoury and sweet crepes. My go to for savoury is the La Provençale, and for the sweet option it’s the homemade salted caramel with banana and a scoop of ice cream-it’s always such a treat. They have pasties that are made fresh daily too. Coffee is stunning! The staffs are friendly and helpful to their customers. The place itself is on a good spot quite accessible for commuters for both buses and train although parking space is only limited I think to street parking.

17/12/2024: Not even the bread is vegan, so avoid if you’re thinking you having at least a sandwich. Service is poor, I get it English is not their mother tongue is so it was a bit difficult to get to understand each other, though they seem to not care at all about interacting with people. We are talking about vegan not gluten free options being totally absent from the menu, it should be a given these days since it is just a matter of choices and not about having a totally separate area altogether to handle vegan food, it’s enough to just state it on the menu. The place itself is nice, just a pity I could only get oat latte. Food on the pricey side, since reviews from my fellows at the table were good, just not extraordinarily good compared to the price.

07/01/2025: Third time my review has been deleted💀😂Came here for the nye party and was absolutely appalled by the attitude from the general manger Stephen. Tickets were sold for that night at €25 which included your entry and a “cocktail” on arrival. Went up to the bar to order a drink and was told by the bartender that it was only vodka and splash available. I had enquired about this with the manager as the advertisement was misleading and I was met with the rudest condescending attitude I have ever seen.He had told me that it says on the booking that vodka and splash is what you get , which it did not, he had also asked me “well what’s a cocktail then” I had said a mixture of drinks to which he replied “yeah that’s a mixture of drinks” and practically laughed in my face. A vodka and splash is not a cocktail whether it’s a “mixture of drinks” or not. Misleading advertisement of this event and many others were not happy when they also found out that you can’t get anything other than vodka with your token. Horrible behaviour from this man, I used to love coming here and always recommended it but I will never return if that’s the treatment you get when you have a problem.
