Butlers Chocolate Café
01/11/2024: One of the many super chocolate shops of the Butlers company that are all over Dublin and not only there. I recommend visiting and tasting their chocolate, warm or in the form of pralines. As a prezet, you get a sweet spot for your purchase 😊
01/11/2024: Ordered hot chocolate and muffin. Told no muffins and offered croissant instead. Wasn’t sure that I wanted a croissant, so asked for refund, then they miraculously found a muffin! How disingenuous, they had them in the back all along. then hot chocolate was luke warm, girls had attitude, and were unfriendly, very sad to see, come on butlers, you’re better than that!

14/10/2024: I love this pub, it's simply wonderful. A place with great people, good music and great service.
15/09/2024: Had food there today (Sunday). I ordered fish & chips which was good, unfortunately my friend had the goujons. These look and tasted as if they had been cooked then reheated. The crumb was almost burned looking and the chicken inside was very dry. We only ate half of one Goujon. When the waitress collected the plates and we pointed out that we couldn’t eat the food, she just shrugged her shoulders and left.
Won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Three staff at counter. Needless to say not busy, as no other customers in shop .Called us when drinks were ready to pick them up at counter, couldn't even be arsed to bring them over to us...
Customer Service....Zero.🙄🙄
04/10/2024: The coffee shop was quiet today but most of the tables were dirty and had trays of empty cups and plates on them. The smell from the toilets was disgusting & it looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. This was mid morning & I only saw 1 staff member behind the counter who was under pressure.

10/09/2024: We bought some coffees, sandwiches and Acai to take away. It wasn't bad, although the portions were small in relation to the prices.
I have to go back one day to have brunch and try something else from the menu, since every time I pass by I notice the dishes and they look very good. And I hope that this time, the smoothie machine is not broken, since I know what drink I want to try.

05/11/2024: Not the cleanest place overall and the toilet was disgusting. Coffee was average too. There is also no point in staff asking if you want for here or take away because they still gonna pour in the disposable cup in either way. Have to ask specifically for the mug. Not acceptable. Wouldn't go back.

27/09/2024: Dreadful experience One other customer at counter Approached counter 4 Staff were behind Picked a chicken rap and asked person at end for a tea said order it back there We only make it Girl said Other lady before you who said go ahead I have not chosen sandwich Asked for a tea Girl staff mumbled something about not taking orders so asked the young guy again who took order got tea and money for rap Then asked my name I asked why and he said I had to wait for tea Nobody else was there 10 euro for cold wrap and tea I am 75 years of age and felt they did not the bother of serving me Will never go back I spend 2 months a year in New York and never was treated like this in Starbucks

Gave me 2 latte absolutely freezing and no taste wood 1000% avoid this place if you can

06/10/2024: We ordered food from here and they got the order wrong. They said the next time we ordered we could have the meal we were supposed to get.
We rang to avail of what was offered by them and they said there is nothing on their system. The lady on the phone was very dismissive and rude and said she didn't care. Would never order from here again. AVOID!
28/09/2024: Used to be the best chinese takeaway in swords now, €50 takeaways doesnt get you prawn crackers with your meal.

Jones Garden Centre & Mrs. Jones Farm Kitchen
16/10/2024: Hi just been around jones shop and then into the kitchen for a bit of lunch with my 92 year old mother ( she loves jones).
I have to say the staff could not do enough for us. They were so helpful in getting us a table as the place was hopping.
The food is just amazing. I would highly recommend Mrs jones kitchen and the gardening Centre.
Will definitely be back.
03/07/2024: Nice cheesecake BUT could have done without someone else's lipstick on cup. Only realised after drinking from cup. Absolutely disgusting. No excuse. Feel physically sick. Some much for cleanliness following Covid19!!!

11/03/2024: Three of us were here for a Mother's Day lunch. Nice setting, bar was cold. Menu options not great and we were not impressed with them not having a vegetarian sandwich option, strange in these days when so many are opting for a vegetarian or vegan diet. The food menu made the sandwiches sound gourmet but they were far from that, I would say just basic with a big price tag. One of us ordered the mash with chicken and it was totally tasteless. We ordered 2 glasses of Chardonnay and I'd lay money that it was Sauvignon Blanc. Disappointing experience.
25/02/2024: We had a family lunch for ten in Feb 2024 ( we've been a few times) and always find it an excellent place to gather - the staff are professional, friendly and efficient and the food is fine. The Jameson Bar bar is where we eat but we've also used the Seaview lounge upstairs and a private room - and always find it is a reliable hotel for eating and family gatherings.
