16/10/2024: My fiance and I were in Darcy's pub every single night during our stay in Galway. The ambiance was so authentic, the music was great, and the staff was above and beyond friendly.

The bar was close to dead maybe 15 people. bar tenders ignored me while I waited to order drinks but they were quick to serve any man who approached the bar. At one point a short line had formed behind me and the bar tender I kid you not looked right past me and asked the man standing in the line behind me for his order. When I said "oh I think I was next". He just laughed.

26/10/2024: Easily the best craft bar in Galway. 24 taps with an excellent rotation of interesting beers served by great staff who love the product they sell. A number of specialist beer festivals per year. Fridges full of interesting bottles and cans too.
They also serve the best grilled cheese sandwich ever!
17/10/2024: lovely staff and a really wide range of beers. Unbeknownst to me I was served the wrong beer and the bar staff came to our table to correct it which was really appreciated! Food was incredible and a great portion size.

02/11/2024: Got the traditional Brittany pancakes, they were tasty and so fast to arrive! The place has a great atmosphere, but I’d say the highlight would be the waitress called Romane, she was very friendly and kind. I will definitely be going back!
20/10/2024: Popped in for two vanilla lattes. Lovely ladies behind the counter, fast and easy service. Fantastic coffee, made with care and reasonably priced, plus we got a little chocolate with it. 10/10 best coffee in Loughrea.

07/11/2024: My husband and myself popped into Garavans on Monday for a drink while we were visiting Galway for a couple days.
We ended up staying for the evening, the craic was that good ! Nice creamy pints of Guinness, friendly staff who love a chat and we had great banter with fellow customers including locals, Americans, Aussies and English. Great music playing on the sound system too.
The owner Gordon a right character and Niamh, Dylan and Pat lovely as well. Will definitely be back here soon, fabulous pub.

15/10/2024: Lovely Local Pub... everyone very friendly... We had our Dog with us and intended sitting outside... The owner said bring her in as its cold outside. we really appreciated this as it was cold. There was another dog there also... Mostly locals here - good fun. Will definitely return and will definitely recommend

12/10/2024: I stayed in the upstairs rooms and ate in the restaurant for an evening meal.
Parking was a bit difficult to find when I arrived, as it was a sunny Sunday afternoon and Salthill was buzzing busy, but after that it was fine with a decent sized free car park a short walk away and on street parking outside the building too.

01/11/2024: Average and overpriced. We popped in for some lunch whilst on holiday in Galway. The staff didn't seem overly happy to be there and weren't greeted with a friendly welcome. When it came to ordering food we were impressed by the choices on the menu but only to be told they were only doing breakfast. No mention of this when arriving. We opted for the bagel with cream cheese and bacon, which was average and for the children we had cheesy pasta, Which was a bowl of plain pasta and a little pot of cheese. I felt it was overpriced for what it was but the coffee was pretty good

05/11/2024: We spent 3 days in Galway and this cafe was the best one we went to, as the staff were extremely friendly, whom made such an effort to entertain their customers over the Halloween Festival (as you can see they were all dressed up in cool costumes) and the food and drinks were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Thank you for the experience, regards the two Aussie's Shaz & Daz PS the smoothies are yummy 😋

06/09/2024: I recently visited Renzo and it did not disappoint. I was looking for a place to sit down and work from my laptop for the day. After the positive reviews online I decided to try it out. Firstly, I was greeted when I walked in the front door by the friendly staff. The girls were extremely attentive and with access to free wifi it was the perfect spot. I got the bacon and cream cheese bagel (also offer vegan sandwiches) and a cappuccino. The girl with brown hair severed me with a smile on her face. I will 100% be back !!!
