29/06/2025: Una tarde por la noche, mientras íbamos a tomar un kebab, mi familia y yo nos topamos con Barr y Chaladh. El propietario, Michael, nos recibió cálidamente. Esperábamos la típica comida irlandesa, pero nos sorprendió mucho cuando Michael ofreció un menú de almuerzo inspirado en Asia, perfecto, ya que estaba ansioso por las gambas! Los precios eran increíblemente razonables, y las porciones eran enormes. ¿Pero la mejor parte? La comida era deliciosa! El ambiente era animado, gracias a la música en vivo, y la hospitalidad de Michael nos hizo sentir increíblemente bienvenidos. Lo disfrutamos tanto, que volvimos unas semanas después! 30/05/2025: Beer selection is solid but heavily international imports. The bearded bartender is the absolute worst person I’ve ever had the utter displeasure of interacting with. We walked in as it opened and asked for recs, excited to try local Irish beers and he immediately dismissed our question, marking the start of a horrible experience. Every question we asked regarding the beers, with curiosity, seeking to understand more about the local scene, was met with disgust. Very disappointing experience.

14/06/2025: We love this place! We (me and my small children) love to cozy up together on one of the floor tables and share a large pot of gingerbread tea while we nibble delicious pastries and play cards and read books. A wonderful way to spend a rainy Saturday. (The garden is lovely in sunshine.) Friendly staff. Great vibes.

26/04/2025: Nice cafe for breakfast with a lot of options! We tried the salmon bagel and club sandwich, both were quick and delicious. The Cafe has beautiful stained glass windows. Coffee was not the best tho.

14/06/2025: I normally dont post reviews but this one deserved one. The owner is incredibly rude. The staff is nice and food is good. I actually came here three days in a row and bought a lot of food until i met the owner. He was sooo rude especially to Women!! Being a man he had no respect and was almost yelling! I dont mind following rules but nothing gives you the right to be so pretentious, disrespectful and pathetic. He was also smashing the glasses on the table while cleaning it and had a terrible facial expression. Im honestly shocked this guy had no manners and clearly it showed. I will never visit again and also advise everyone not to come here if you want a civilised, decent time out. Edit : owner says i wasnt a customer but i actually have a picture of my receipt since i dined there three days in a row and no nothing is false the owner was very rude and loud and disrespectful. When asked about the wait time he said “i dont know stand outside i cant have you stand in here” very rudely lol

14/06/2025: I came here to eat for the third day in a row because the food and service was good, but I was met by the owner on my third (and now last) visit with an inhospitable manner that would insult anyone. It was pouring rain when we came in and although seats were opening up, he told us in a rude manner to wait outside. Then, when the seats opened up, he told us in a crude manner that we could not bring a drink inside, despite being return customers. He said it in an incredibly rude manner. There was plenty of space inside, and with the rain outside, any kind business owner would have asked their customer to wait kindly and that a table would open up. As a business owner, a welcoming environment and warm nature is important, but instead we were told to wait outside and that there would be no seats for us. It was so disappointing and incredibly upsetting for me and my family. I am not surprised that the other poor reviews here are also about the owner.

12/06/2025: Great little restaurant - I had the Black Cat pasta and it was fantastic. Lots of seafood and very fresh. I highly recommend it, our table also had the friendly farmer breast of chicken and the fish and chips and all were really good. The prices are reasonable and portions are filling.

20/05/2025: Everything was amazing. I was in Galway for two days and went there every morning and afternoon. I had their coffee, pastries, and prepared meals and they were all fantastic.

26/03/2025: Personal amable y positivo - fue dos veces seguidas para el desayuno. Buena comida, amplia variedad de opciones entre bocadillos, menús, bollos y dulces. El café es bueno también, que parece una agradable sorpresa aquí en Irlanda de acuerdo con nuestra experiencia!
