31/05/2026: After ordering a box of pepperoni dough balls in Killarney fourstar from anaf, and waiting 20 minutes my order only came in with 7 pcs and after asking safwan where is the 8th pc he lied to my face and said they started doing 7pc from now on and not a single one of them took responsibility for eating my food.

13/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Had the Hot Veggie Pizza at Four Star Pizza. The pizza was fresh and loaded with toppings, but the sauce was a bit too heavy for my taste and slightly overpowered the other flavours. That said, the base was well cooked, the veggies were fresh, and the service was quick. A good option for a casual pizza stop in Killarney, especially if you enjoy saucier pizzas.

08/02/2026: Very poor experience. When I called, a member of staff answered and had trouble understanding me, there was shouting in the background, including someone yelling “kurwa.” At that point another staff member took the phone and said “What you want?” and refused to give their first name when I asked. I was not allowed to speak, kept being put on hold both times I called, and instructions I wanted to pass on regarding the deluvery have bee ignored on purpose. The order was left at the door and was cold by the time it was picked up off the ground (no doorbell used). Completely unprofessional service.

28/11/2025: Place is a classic Irish cottage setting tucked in around the corner opposite to Treacys Oakwood Hotel where I was staying. Tried their spicy chicken kebab, quantity was good but the chicken was cooked inconsistently, some pieces were chewy & hard, some pieces were soft however some were undercooked as felt rubbery while chewing had to spit out. Customer service was good and there was no long wait after ordering. Food quality can be improved.

27/05/2026: The food is excellent, particularly the pizza. However, I have a major issue with their billing practices regarding drinks. They are charging customers the €0.15 deposit fee for cans and bottles, but they are using stock that does not feature the official Recycle/Refund logo. Because of this, the deposit money can't be reclaimed and goes straight into their own pockets. Be vigilant, check your drinks, and call them out on this practice.

22/05/2026: Worst takeaway in a long time. Food quality was extremely poor. Used cheap bag of chips which resulted in highly soggy, oiley and greasy chips that didn't hold the heat. Food thrown together, no standard of food presentation, sloopily prepared and served. Do not recommend. Save your money for somewhere else.

16/05/2026: We ordered a late night pizza because most restaurants were closed. Despite having a fast food look, the pizza was really good. There was really nothing wrong with the dining area except it was a bit drafty with pepper coming and going. Being from Texas, we are not adapting to the cold very well. 🥶

12/05/2026: Definitely a step up from traditional " fast food ". We were looking for a quick meal and Denjoes was recommended by a local. We got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, fried chicken and a burger. Everything tasted great. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quick meal.

20/05/2026: Poor delivery service.a few months ago,, i ordered and waited. And it took 40 mins on phone to driver with.clear directions to where he was to my house ,,still.never got after a hour and half..i refused payment. Inhave now ordered again,, and waited nearly hour,,

15/03/2026: One of the best Apache franchises in Ireland. Parking is the only downside during rush hours. This is our go to spot for late night pizza.

15/05/2026: I ordered extra apache dynamite sauce... and somehow got zero sauce. This has happened several times with different orders, I'll order rainbow cookies and get chocolate cookies. I'll order mixed cookies and get only chocolate. One time I ordered no chicken on the pizza, and they removed the pepperoni?? The wedges are somehow always soggy and cold. I am fed up ordering from this store and will be telling others to not order from this store again. Don't know why I believed for so long.

25/04/2026: Wish I could give this place zero stars! Ordered delivery from the Hilton and they either gave the order to the wrong person or most likely never delivered. After speaking with the store, they stated it was out for delivery even though the app said delivered. All things considered, I smell a scam!!!!! Avoid this place at all costs. It has terrible reviews for a reason.

25/11/2025: I had the regular brest in the bin meal and I have to say for such a big food chain the chips were very few, a small amount of chips on a little paper bag. I think it may be only this outlet as chips from other hillbillys were a fill little bag and more. Honestly for such a cheap item I can't understand how they get away with serving chips that you could count out. The brest in the bun was nice could have done with a little more sauce. The onion rings were ok batter was a bit oily instead of crispy. Then there is the extra charge for any thing that comes with Coca Cola like a sugar tax. Another sneaky way of hiking up the price of meals. As for he service it was pleasant, quick and professional from the young member of staff. That was about the only positive experience. As for the meal over all it was not value for money.

06/10/2025: Love Hillbillies in general, love the Chicken and gravy in particular, usually its very nice unless chicken is left under the heat lamp to long and drys out. Was in Mahon today and ordered a Burger Meal and 3 Tenders meal, server put me in for a Burger Meal and 3 tenders which I didn't know as still cost 24 euro, but when I highlighted I was missing items server says I only paid for 3 tenders, so to purchase the other items I hadd to pay for separately for the chips, drink and dip which ended up costing me more money than it would of as a meal because the server got the order wrong in the first place.

05/12/2025: Their delivery service is really bad like the delivery person was very rude and by the time he delivered my food it was cold , I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here because it’s a waste of money and the delivery is 10€ even tho they try charge you more in person

14/10/2025: I eat Four Star Pizza every Tuesday multiple locations in Dublin. This is the first location the doesn't offer 14" Pizza for 6.95 Absolutely Pathetic! I will never eat here nor should you!

09/08/2025: It seems like a bargain saying that buying 2 gets you the third pizza free, but then each topping costs 1.5 and the small sizes start at 10 euros.

30/05/2026: I really wish the food was nicer here. It’s not often chips are so bland and poorly cooked that they’ve to be spat out. Much better options around town like TJ Bella’s or even pizza palace across the road.

05/04/2026: Dip 4 chips in the curry dip and its gone No salt and vinegar on the chips it was requested upon ordering

13/06/2026: Yesterday I ordered garlic bread along with pizzas, of which garlic breads were really salty taste! (Even the pizzas were bit salty but manageable)When contacted the Lucan village shop, the attendent apologized and gave the phone to manager. Surprisingly he turned out to be quite RUDE and demanded that they dont add salt and needed the pieces to be checked ie bring them back to the shop (really!). The mannerism of the manager was really out of this world in a RUDE way. Poor fellow did not know what salty is and tried to confuse me! Well, we've been ordering from this shop for that last 10+ years now. Time to say GOODBYE...very bad management! Additionally want to mention that they dont wear gloves while spreading the toppings...yuck! Ah well, my final comments to the shop ; fairly sure this would go in the dust bin and will be forgotten, BUT, I am just doing a fact check on the shop after 1 day of consumption. Good luck to those who are still subscribed to this joint...

26/05/2026: Ordered pizza and waited around 1 hour 30 minutes while the children kept waiting. When we called, the staff said they didn’t know the exact delivery time and told us they could cancel the order if we wanted. In the end, we cancelled the order. I would not recommend this place — very, very bad service.
