14/03/2024: very good chicken kebab worth returning. there is practically no space inside to eat a meal, so I recommend ordering takeaway, there is a free parking lot next to it, so you can easily walk up to order and wait in the car :)

18/03/2024: Car broke down in Roscommon late at night, the lights of Zam Zam kept the spirits high. Incredible Doner Kebabs, things are massive. Would absolutely recommend.

25/02/2024: Place cold Only dinner to be got Looked for white wine got red Asked for BLT to be told by waitress no rashers in the place Asked for sandwiches and told couldn't make exception for one customer in the restaurant When others see sandwiches out to one customer they would all look for sandwiches Should have more choices all around Very disappointed I'm a regular customer there Three more people with me and will not be going back Needs to improve big time

30/03/2024: We had an incredible lunch in the Moorings bar and restaurant today. The food was beautiful and there is great variety which is very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone passing and we will be back.

01/04/2024: Stopped for a family meal today, lovely staff, fantastic food, spotlessly clean, toilets spotlessly clean, reasonably priced. We will be back again.

14/10/2023: Ordered from the early bird a starter of ribs and main of chicken satay and chips. The ribs came 3 mins later which I strongly suspect was zapped in a microwave. Some parts were hotter than others. But the main itself was revolting. The chips were whiter than myself, they looked ' cheap as chips' pun intended. Obviously low quality frozen chips and when bitten had a texture like congealed sawdust. I took one bite of one chip and did not go near the rest. The chicken was basically 5 or 6 small cubes of chicken bathed in a gloppy, stewy, lukwarm sauce .Satay is meant to be nutty and bursting with flavor but this felt like it came out of a packet from a cheap supermarket. Visually, the dish resembled the contents of my stomach. I ate the tastless and measly small portion of bland chicken and again left the rest. It cost 20EURO for starter and main and that would be reasonable if one could actually eat the food! I was genuinely looking forward to a night out with my wife but this put me in a 'fowl' ( you can excuse that pun) mood and I could not wait to leave the place. The waiter in fairness was polite and apologised when he asked me if everything was OK with the food. The staff seemed nice in general. There is certainly a dearth of Chinese restaurants in Roscommon so lack of competition means they don't have to buckle up and improve . Was very surprised that there were customers there to be perfecty honest. Even though its run by Chinese people I really don't believe that they know ho to cook authentic Chinese food. Yes it was that bad folks. My wife's prawn dish was the same. The prawns were grey and served in a watery bland sauce. She did not get much of a taste from her dish. She did say that the rice was ok though. It was easily the worst Chinese I have ever had in Ireland. Needless to say I will not be returning again.

13/03/2024: Popped in this evening for a meal first time here (came recommended) and to be honest couldn't fault it , really enjoyed the roast duck King prawn stuffing in crab sauce, very plentiful and delicious, my partner had sweet and sour chicken which she also enjoyed, starters spring rolls and salt and chilli ribs again very enjoyable, huge portions so make sure your hungry before visiting, will definitely call again , beautiful premises very oriental. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
