28/10/2025: I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nice sit-down meal at Lann after about a year away. As a former weekly regular, I always raved about their exquisite food – bursting with authentic flavors and always incredibly tasty. But my visit on October 28th evening sround 6:15 PM left me terribly disappointed and queasy. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs as a starter, followed by the duck with steamed rice as my main, plus a Coke. The new waitress kindly agreed to bring everything out together. After about 10 minutes, the ribs arrived first. The initial bites were decent, but by the third rib, I discovered one side was fridge-cold while the other was barely warm – clearly undercooked or poorly reheated. The duck arrived midway through, and I flagged the issue right away. The waitress was apologetic, consulted the chef, and comped the ribs, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the main course was even worse. The duck was rubbery and lukewarm, with no trace of the crispy skin or sizzling presentation it used to have ( microwaved?) The rice was tepid, clumped, and felt like it had been microwaved rather than freshly steamed – zero steam or vibrancy. I barely touched it and left most of the meal behind. When it came time to pay (around £20, though it felt overpriced for the quality), the waitress asked for feedback. I was honest: the overall standard has plummeted. It seems like they might have a new chef, as nothing matched the high-quality dishes I remembered. The service was friendly, but the food was a far cry from the gem this place used to be. I felt unwell afterward and won't be returning. it's heartbreaking to see such a drop-off.

18/02/2026: Got two take aways from here, the first one of Crispy Chicken Salt & Chili (MC) was not the worst, but the second one together with a green curry was complete slop. Green curry tasted like soap and crispy chicken was all soggy. Would avoid. Lana has much better quality food.

30/04/2026: Just arrived home with an order i collected. Ordered a spice bag- absolutely covered in chilli seeds (not seasoning), chicken was like rubber & the same colour as the chips (pale yellow) didnt even come with curry sauce. It was absolutely disgusting, worst food ive ever eaten!

10/03/2026: Passing by on Sunday evening pulled in for a burger & chips. Ordered "Smokey Bacon Burger Meal". The nicest burger I have had in years, Chips were home made cooked to perfection. Great value for money. Will call again when down that direction.
