28/10/2025: This happened on Oct 28, 2025 @ 5:40 pm I'de give 0 sta I could. No smile No welcoming No greetings The lad at the reception just kept refusing my requests. I ordered the same thing as last week, and he said no we don't do that... We don't serve that... With an attitude, like he was telling me to go away... I still can't believe it! It never happened to me. And just small detail. I'm a decent person, clea, good looking and very polite. I'm sure I didn't do anything wrong. No person with dignity should go to this restaurant BTW I drove 30min to go there and I regret it.

11/10/2025: Had the Shish kebab to start and it was amazing on par with the best I've every had, loved it and will get it every time from now on. I then had the chicken korma but with a bit of spice added. I highly recommend this as I have the Korma all the time and like the extra kick of spice to help cut through the cream. I've been many times and was very please with my last visit last week, went with the work crowd and they all loved their food too. A real hidden Gem

27/10/2025: The prices are absolutely extortionate. I went in with my take away cup (340ml) and ordered an oat milk latte with one pump of caramel. It came to €6.10, I then specified that I wanted a small latte, it came to €5.80. Absolutely crazy price for a small take away coffee, more than the cost of a pint. Won’t be returning. I acknowledge that oat milk and syrups usually cost extra, and the coffee was excellent, but that price is still outrageous.

31/10/2025: The management and staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is excellent. I had their own version of Eggs Benedict, and it was fantastic: perfectly cooked, served on sourdough with Irish bacon, and full of flavour. A really lovely, creative take on a classic dish. The girls had chocolate pancakes and scrambled eggs, which they also enjoyed. Outstanding food quality all around.

01/09/2025: Being a Cantonese Chinese from Malaysia, we are so happy to speak Cantonese with the owner. Found out from him, Seasons been here for 20 years. We are on our way to visit Knock Shrine. We ordered the set meal of €15 - consists of spring rolls, beef with ginger & onion & fried rice. We also ordered sweet & sour pork. Food tasted fabulous. What we chinese says have “wok hei”. This is highly recommended place for Chinese food. Hope to be back.

13/08/2025: The owner is a brilliant man. Came from the kitchen to greet us and gave a warm welcome. Service was nice and friendly. Big portions. Curry was amazing and chicken too!

28/10/2025: I was really looking forward to treating myself to a nice sit-down meal at Lann after about a year away. As a former weekly regular, I always raved about their exquisite food – bursting with authentic flavors and always incredibly tasty. But my visit on October 28th evening sround 6:15 PM left me terribly disappointed and queasy. I ordered the BBQ pork ribs as a starter, followed by the duck with steamed rice as my main, plus a Coke. The new waitress kindly agreed to bring everything out together. After about 10 minutes, the ribs arrived first. The initial bites were decent, but by the third rib, I discovered one side was fridge-cold while the other was barely warm – clearly undercooked or poorly reheated. The duck arrived midway through, and I flagged the issue right away. The waitress was apologetic, consulted the chef, and comped the ribs, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the main course was even worse. The duck was rubbery and lukewarm, with no trace of the crispy skin or sizzling presentation it used to have ( microwaved?) The rice was tepid, clumped, and felt like it had been microwaved rather than freshly steamed – zero steam or vibrancy. I barely touched it and left most of the meal behind. When it came time to pay (around £20, though it felt overpriced for the quality), the waitress asked for feedback. I was honest: the overall standard has plummeted. It seems like they might have a new chef, as nothing matched the high-quality dishes I remembered. The service was friendly, but the food was a far cry from the gem this place used to be. I felt unwell afterward and won't be returning. it's heartbreaking to see such a drop-off.

24/06/2025: I was in castlereagh Saturday the 14th of June with my family and rang in a order for collection at 11pm when I went to collect my order they told us that nobody had rang in any orders. Beautiful town the people in the shop’s and pubs and taxi are so friendly and help full. Shame there hard work is let down by one business.

31/10/2025: Ordered a takeaway at 5.50, told to collect in 15minutes, when I got back I was asked to wait a few more minutes, 3 other people got their orders, the server was great who went to find my order... in the end it was what seemed to be a rushed thrown together order and Huge Chunks of what were standard chicken goujons in sauce, Save yourself the money air fry at home would be better then here

19/09/2025: I'm pretty new to Ruby King, past year. I find the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, hot and good size portions. Prices are reasonable. I find the food here is better than my local takeaway (different place).

03/08/2025: Should just close it at this stage. Asked for a chicken kebab and normally you'd expect salad and the trimings but no such luck. As dry as cardboard, just chopped up bits of chicken thrown into a cold, limp pitta and not as much as an ounce of flavour. Very disappointing. The girl at the counter barely said thanks and the rest of the staff seemed like they had no interest being there. Nowhere near worth the €25 price. Been going for years but from now on I'll take my chances elsewhere.

11/07/2025: 4 years ago I got the worst food poisoning of my life from Antonellis. I hadn't stepped foot in the place since until today. Ordered 2 fish and chips. One fish looked like a battered fish and the other looked like it was begging to be put out of it's misery. It had been cooked more than once and tasted disgusting. I ate a small bit, struggling to even chew it and I have not felt well since. This place seriously needs to be inspected. Lesson learned, never again will I eat here again.

17/07/2025: Wow I can't believe anyone would give it more than 1 star! Unless they have never actually had a real chinese and this is there only experiences of it! I would give it minus if I could. The food is repulsive! I mean totally disgusting. Every few years they are 'under new management' but unfortunately the chef doesn't seem to change. Chinese is my favourite, i woudnt eat here ever again, even if it was free!

30/08/2025: We love the view but we both got bad food poisoning a couple hrs after eating there and notice 5 charges to other vendors right after they charged our card causing us to cancel our only travel card while the on vacation. Visa company said someone had to have our card chip to do this . And we were not out on the town but layed up two days recovering!!!! 🥵

18/08/2025: Ordered takeaway delivered to local campsite. Menu is clever, all takeaways should do similar, it breaks down dishes by meat and then choose sauce. It was expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants. E.g. a side of brocoli was €9. But wow was the broccoli good! Honey chicken starter was yummy too. Delivery driver was friendly and efficient. Great dinner, would recommend.

23/07/2025: Meal was only meh. Staff were very nice and accommodating. We booked for 4 people but were sat at a 2 person table with 2 chairs brought over to us that they had to go around asking for. Very squashed at the table which is fine for walk in but we had it booked. Food was all around only meh. I got the pizza which was straight out of the lidl frozen section. The icecream came out on a plate and half melted. My first bite of the icecream was warmer than the pizza

12/07/2025: Food was overpriced, taste like what you make at home. Disappointing.

10/10/2025: Top class food food is always delicious milkshakes also delicious would highly recommend you know by the quality of the food that this place is very well ran and the staff are lovely and the place is spotless
