04/08/2026: Staff so nice with to staff from work and one of the girls 2 kids and the staff could not have been better. Food 10 out of 10.

31/07/2026: I got the "fresh burgers" but I thought that I would get an actual burger, and not a patty. That wasn't the main problem. The patty was chewy, mushy, and tasteless. The carrots were hard, cold, and tasted uncooked. The mash was somehow salty and dry. The cabbage was hard and unpleasant. The potatoes tasted like plastic. The trays were also quite sticky, and some had crumbs on them. They obviously weren't washed too well, if at all. Also the smell when coming through the front door was putrid, but only lasted a minute or two. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and kind.

25/08/2026: Lovely restaurant . First time being there and really impressed. Thought if the food is as nice as the decor it's going to be good and it was. Lovely friendly staff ans great service. Will be back.

25/08/2026: Mags and her Team couldn’t have done more to help us mark my Auntie and Uncle’s 60th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted a place that I knew would deliver good food and service as I had been there a few times before and my expectations were exceeded. They had the tables beautifully decorated by the time we got there and then helped us put up some personalised decorations. The place looked great, the food was top class with great choice and the service was faultless. I would highly recommend the Old Stone House. Thank you Mags and Ray for all the work you put into our wonderful family occasion.

19/05/2026: A fabulous and welcoming pub, the staff are so welcoming and cater for every occasion. Hats off to the lads under the watchful eye of Michelle. Well done all.

29/04/2026: Popped in as staying in nearby hotel & found a great pub. Barman on duty was Dale & couldn’t do enough to help, even ordered our takeaway pizza for us. Highly recommend this pub. We will be back every night of our stay, 10 of 10 for service & welcome atmosphere

01/06/2026: Lovely afternoon tea. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only problem which spoilt our experience was the children which were running at speed around the place. Apart from anything else it was dangerous and nobody seemed to be bothered about them.

21/07/2026: Passing through work , Dub.. The Fabulous Ladies of the Deli Counter , made me .... A HOT HAM ROLL ,, white buttered roll ,Cheese ,red onion , sliced Gorgeus Hot Ham and a scoop of gravy drizzled down it , and a spinkle of spring onions on top, . OHH Good God , the lads around me were dribbling looking at their chicken fillet rolls. It was Like a soft Sunday dinner in a roll ,Thank You so Very much

05/07/2026: Was there for dinner had the burger what a disaster hard dry not fit to be served shouldn’t have being serve , image is one thing but substance is another thing and time to up The food standard as the building is fabulous , the staff were lovely , but the food 😱

27/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. We ordered drinks at the bar, but there were no seats available. We were then told we couldn’t even stand in the only area that had space because staff were taking drinks from there, leaving us with nowhere to enjoy what we’d just purchased. The owner’s son was there and was quite rude, showing no basic courtesy and not even saying goodbye as we left. Overall, the service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

20/06/2026: I had the Full Irish Breakfast at Ganly’s Balcony Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced and offers great value for money. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. I would happily recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a satisfying breakfast and great customer service.

06/07/2026: First time in this pub, sat near the stage, when my brother's + family were over. In not putting a price down, cause I didn't spend any money, my beer's bought for me, by the family

15/05/2026: Me and my friend recently visited Zaiqa Roscommon, and honestly, we found it to be the best among all the Zaiqa branches we’ve tried so far. I’ve also visited the ones in Tullamore, Ballinasloe, and Galway, and I would definitely rank Zaiqa Roscommon as No.1, followed by Galway at No.2. Their manager (Mr. Sajid) & staff, especially the one who took our order (Mr. M.Ishtiaq), they were all extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The food was absolutely up to the mark, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. They even brought us an extra dish that we hadn’t ordered and offered it complimentary, which was such a lovely gesture. And the tea was amazing — it truly reminded me of the tea back home in Pakistan. Everything, including the environment around us, also the lovely music were so good & the experience was superb, especially the behaviour and hospitality of the staff, which I believe matters the most. Highly recommended!

19/05/2026: Just had two coffees and a scone today. Place was fine but have to say that I was dissapionted when charged an extra one euro for a small pot of hot water to add to the coffees, which were not very hot and I was charged an additional 50 cent for a very tiny portion of cream for the scone! The coffees and scone were already at the top price range that I have paid for same anywhere and I feel that the extra charges were oportunistic and mean. I have never ever been charged for hot water with coffees before! Dissapointed to say the least!👎
