09/01/2025: Heard good things about the local so thought I would give it a go . Really nice atmosphere as I stepped in from the freezing temperatures and the pub was busy for an early Thursday evening . Ordered a Heineken, ordered the Mexican burger with a wine . Burger was great as were the home cooked chips and drinks were good . Certain places I visit I don’t feel relaxed or welcomed when working away but what a breath of fresh air here. Thank you team for a lovely experience and I will probably come back tomorrow as it was that nice

02/01/2025: Stopped off in Dungarvan on our way from cork to Wexford. Went to the local for lunch. It was very busy which speaks for itself. Service was exceptionally good even though it was packed. The food was gorgeous . The pub itself is devine and we would love to have stayed all evening. Will be back

29/01/2025: Best breakfast in Dungarvan by a long shot, wonderful friendly staff, great ingredients and top ups of tea and toast. Hard to beat this lovely cafe for great food, efficiency and a lovely welcome.

01/02/2025: Expensive, perhaps somewhat over-rated The food was nice, but for the price nothing spectacular. The desserts at €7.50 were small (see photos). I got the steak, which at €35 one would expect at least some vegetables with it, plenty of space on the plate after all (see photo). All the food WAS well done and tasty to be fair, but I didn't leave full after €140 for the four of us without drinks. The staff are very friendly. We had the waitress Evelina and she was brilliant, and so were the others. Regarding atmosphere - we booked online, but were put in an overflow chamber which looks more like an events room (the castle room it's called). Two large tables filled up and it got so loud there, that we struggled to hear ourselves speak. The table next to us asked to be moved. The wait between orders seemed to be a long time, but they were full up (it was Friday night). I wouldn't be rushing back to be honest.

29/01/2025: Went for Women's Little Xmas, their drink menu was divine, especially the Rudolph one!! Love their patatas bravas and humus, so delicious 😋

07/01/2025: Our favourite cafe in Dungarvan. They have unique food that you won't find in other cafes in Dungarvan. They have vegetarian options as well. I have eaten there many times and everything I've tried has been great. Only negatives I have noticed: water glasses sometimes look a bit dirty, milk is left in pitchers on the table rather than brought fresh with your tea/coffee (could have been put out recently but there's no way for a customer to know that)

05/02/2025: A lovely little pub/restaurant. Friendly and jovial staff. I got the Guinness Game pie accompanied by lovely mixture of veg. Only thing I found initially was I was cold. A draft from the front door seemed to be catching my back. Once food came out I was able to remove my jacket and eat. It was the only flaw of the evening. Don't let that deter you enjoying good food. I was driving so stuck to the non alcoholic drinks but I must say the Guinness looked good and can guarantee the Guinness pie was delicious.

29/01/2025: A lovely spot looking out on river ..walking distance to town (about 15mins)from the minute you enter the hotel ,it's welcoming,the girls on reception, housekeeping and bar and restaurant staff are so friendly and nothing is too much bother .pool facilities great too
