Copper Spice

Kinnegad
21/01/2025: Bit disappointed, I ordered from the copper spice and arrived and it’s closed up? You get your Indian from Apache pizza. Buttered chicken was watery with dry chicken. We also got a burger meal from apache which was good. It’s okay but if you’re looking for a good Indian don’t bother.

Bubble Tea & Sushi Bar

Mullingar
13/06/2024: The owner and workers were really sweet! We’re from out of town and stopped here across from our hotel and we truly enjoyed it, the sushi rolls were so big! I wish we could eat here all the time! The only reason we spent more was because we had more people, but it was very reasonably priced!

TAKEAWAY EXPRESS

Athlone
10/01/2025: Ordered a kebab meal, meat was cold, chips were cold, curry dip was cold. Would never consume again.
10/01/2025: The business was closed for three days last month. Weak pest control, open pipes and rat droppings led to a Westmeath take away being served a closure order last month. Take Away Express on Northgate Street in Athlone was issued the order on December 13th under the FSAI Act 1998, which was lifted three days later on the 16th. It was one of six food businesses across the country that was served a closure order by The Food Safety Authority of Ireland last month. The FSAI served 133 enforcement orders on food businesses in 2024, an increase of 45% from the 92 orders issued in 2023.

Don's Bar

Moate
29/07/2026: Last Sunday evening, after Mayo’s unforgettable All-Ireland victory, myself and a few close friends stopped in Moate on our way home from Dublin. We were eager to catch the Sunday Game, and with our timing bringing us into Moate at around 9.30, Don’s Bar was the first place we spotted showing it. From the moment we walked through the door, the welcome from the staff and locals was incredible. It felt like walking into a surprise birthday party; the whole place rose to its feet and cheered Mayo’s victory. For a few moments, they made us feel ten feet tall. After such a momentous and emotional day, that welcome was every bit as special as the occasion itself and is something we will never forget. A sincere thank you to everyone in Don’s Bar, Moate, for the warmth, kindness and generosity you showed us. It was a beautiful reminder of everything that is good about sport, community and the people of Ireland.

Caramico

Mullingar
11/04/2026: First time ordering from Caramico in a number of years and let me just say the standard has really dropped. Ordered a 12 inch pizza with a garlic chips as a side for €14 great value. However, when I got the pizza and side they were cold. The pizza had little flavour. This place was great during COVID. Don’t think I’ll be back.
