The Cloughan Inn
10/11/2024: Booked a table for lunch 10th November for 3.30pm. A very pleasant young waitress showed us our table gave us a menu took our order for drinks and lunch. In 15 minutes our food was served I had lamb my husband had beef and all the trimmings. The food was fantastic and quite generous portions

11/08/2024: Long time since I was last here and I’m glad I called in, menu to suit all tastes. We ordered 2 roast beef dinners and we were by no means disappointed. It was delicious from start to finish. Beef was superb tasty and plenty of it. The vegetables were cooked and a good variety of them, mash potatoes and roast potatoes were delicious. Yorkshire pudding and some gorgeous homemade stuffing and proper gravy. Top marks !!
Service was quick and staff were very friendly
We will definitely call here again

15/12/2023: Second year in a row having our Christmas night in Lord Bellamy's. Always an enjoyable night with great music, food and atmosphere. Centrally located with great staff.... would recommend.
07/08/2023: Just wanna thank Colin and all the staff at lord Bellemys for last night. We had the afters of our child’s christening here and they put on 2 different bands so live music all night and the finger food brought out was amazing aswell. 100% recommend this place for anything

16/03/2024: Absolutely disgusting food...raw chips!...my pasta dish was warm and cold..horrible..
Told the waiter and he said he will tell the chef...but we still payed the full bill after sending the food back...service is so bad..never again..people stay away from this hotel...

26/06/2024: This is a terrible fish and chips shop I ordered haddock and chips and when I looked he was giving me smoked coley he must think people are stupid the batter was soggy and the chips were terrible don't pay 13.95 for disgusting food.
12/06/2024: Wanted to order Monkfish and Prawn Tai Curry, no monkfish in curry anymore and no rice available either. Alternatively I ordered Fish which consisted of one piece of fish only. Used to be two pieces. Order did not include mushy peas either as I discovered at home. Chips cost extra €4.00 totalling €13.95. I feel ripped off and will not be going back again for a takeaway! Facebook menu doesn’t tally with menu in shop either. Very disappointed as this used to be the best fish and chips in the town!
