18/09/2024: Although the restaurant was officially closed they made us a meal, brilliant I will always stop there on my way to the west coast

17/09/2024: Went here again. Turkey and ham dinner To be honest the veg and bread is worth the money alone Beautiful food. Making it a regular when in Rathowen

19/01/2024: Tried the latte. There used to be a Fuji label, now there is none. Coffee ☕️ like coffee. Maybe I didn't try it. I will come again and give it a chance to like it.

27/07/2024: A small cafe that features traditional irish food .I had the roast beef sandwich which had peppers onions cheese mayo butter and what not. The beef was well done and devoid of any flavor . I used a knife and fork as it was oozing with stuff .

19/06/2024: Great brunch with loads of choice including healthy and vegan. Very friendly staff. I had the Flat Belly breakfast. Not nearly as frugal as it sounds and absolutely delicious

11/07/2024: Fabulous service, the waiter was on his own he had everything down pat he was a lovely man nothing to much trouble for him,fabulous food, lovely restaurant couldn't ask for anything more, recommend 100%,

13/05/2024: There are a lot of duck dishes on the menu, so we thought it must be a house specialty. We ordered duck pancakes, which were quite expensive, so we expected something really good. We wanted succulent, juicy duck! What the duck lacked in quality it made up for in quantity. We got a massive plate of shredded duck which was so dry it was like it had been grated. Quite inedible. When we complained, the waitress told us it’s ‘the way they do it here’. We barely touched it, but weren’t offered anything else to replace it. The pork ribs were also very dry. Pre cooked and reheated. They had a nice sauce though, so we ate them. There was one dish which we really enjoyed. The Singapore noodles. The meat in that dish was cooked ‘a la minute’, ie, fresh to order, and was therefore nice and juicy. The noodles were perfectly spiced too. So, not all bad!
