17/11/2024: Worth the wait, been on list of places to have food since I came across it a few years ago. Finally got the chance to treat my sister and myself to lunch. From walking in was blown away, lovely fire burning in the lounge room. Taken into our table by Stephanie, she remembered my sister which is always a lovely touch. The food itself was sublime, with each course tasting better than the last. Great table service with help on what to pair with the food definitely made the meal one I’ll remember. Can’t wait to come back and again. If you’re in the area and are lucky enough to get a table, it’s totally worth the money and time.

20/09/2024: Stopped for the second time this week driving through tullow.Amazing value and fantastic selection of different meats and obviously very tasty. I even got a free sample of sweet and sour chicken from the deli 👌🏻

07/01/2025: We went for dinner in the Restaurant which was lovely. The food is always amazing here. Lovely setting on Leighlinbridge and great ambience. Had a drink beside the cosy fire after.

02/08/2024: We had our wedding meal for 26 people in Clashganny in June and everything was exceptional - from the food to the atmosphere and decorations, the drinks and the setting. Karen and Rob were excellent hosts and their team was top tier. Every single guest was raving about the whole experience. Such a special place to have had our wedding meal!

07/01/2025: Excellent customer service, very kind staff.Lovely ambiance. Sadly their coffee tasted horrible. It was really watery, bitter and tasted dirty. It's a pity because the place is nice and busy.

21/12/2024: Great pub, nice comfortable place with good atmosphere for having a good old chat with friends. No loud music (good). Staff are friendly and good. I didn't eat here so can't comment on that.

06/10/2024: Called in for a late breakfast last week. Food was lovely. Service was very good. But we had to ask for a couple of items, which were delivered promptly (butter for toast, brown sugar for coffee). Prices are very reasonable. Lots of people use it for meetups, and some workers had tables reserved for lunch. I recommend it.

07/12/2024: Beyond upset at the quality of the food I got a bowl of ramen that I would struggle to give 1 star out of 10. Half a hard boiled egg, what seemed to boiled grey chicken with zero flavour horrid. The cook obviously has no clue. I could go on but I won’t. I don’t really write reviews like this but my god lien in bed and the more I thought about the more upset I got. The taking the orders has no clue about the menu also . I feel quite bad for the owner after putting what I would expect is a lot of money into the place. Hands down one of the worst food experiences to date. I have worked in the hospitality for some years and this place makes me never want to eat outside of places I don’t know again Stay Away 23 euro for a bowl of flavourless Grewl

12/10/2024: This is not a luxury city hotel so don’t expect anything fancy. But if you’re looking for a quality, comfortable, country retreat this is it! Staff are wonderful - helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, kitchen was perfect for a 3-day stay or longer. Stocked with everything you need to make morning coffee or dinner. Bathroom was modern and spacious. WiFi reliable, TV has lots of channels. We had room 404 and would totally stay here again.
