17/06/2026: We absolutely loved our stay at Matty's Pub Apartments! The room was clean, very well equipped, and had everything we needed. ​What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the incredible hospitality. Matt and his wife were so welcoming—we ended up sharing brilliant conversations, a pint of Guinness, plenty of stories, and a lot of laughs together. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return! Thank you both so much for having us; I will always cherish these memories. 🥹 ​If you are looking for a peaceful location not far from Kilkenny and Carlow, paired with a fantastic host and a genuinely friendly atmosphere, I recommend Matty's Pub 100%. 🍻🫶

07/05/2026: Single expresso and small croissant with one slice ham diferent prices every time. 4 euros for the person that sits with me and 6 euros for me. Amazing probably end of day take that extra for themselfs who knows.

11/07/2026: We stopped for ice cream. The welcome was cold. You serve yourself from a tub where you open the boxes yourself. We hesitated to sit down because of the state of the chair covers. As for the toilets, that's an experience in itself.

26/08/2026: The dirtiest and most disgusting McDonald's I've ever seen! It's completely unsanitary and the staff is terrible.

25/08/2026: The fries were brunt, greasy and taste bitter. The service was slow. When it come to put our trash it was completely full so we just leave it in the table.

24/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic staff at Golden Aroma Chinese! The food was delicious as always, but what really stands out is the young lady taking the orders. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. It’s rare to come across such genuinely warm customer service, and she handled everything with a smile even during a busy time. She’s a real credit to the place.
