28/06/2024: Good chicken wrap, the Jam Doughnuts are immensely flavourful and the people making the hot chocolates are definitely on to something, satisfying experience 10/10

17/06/2024: Popped in here yesterday for lunch. Ideally located in the middle of Fairgreen Shopping Center. Good amount of delicious sandwich options. Really enjoyed my House Special Panini and cappuccino. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Would definitely come back if I'm in Carlow again.

28/10/2024: We are visiting Ireland and are so happy because this is exactly what we had hoped to find in a local pub. Great ambiance, wonderful beer, a big 5 stars to our bartender and the other patrons made the visit all the better. Go for the beer, stay for the people, and take in all that's around you.

01/11/2024: If every hotel in ireland was ran as good as the seven oaks in carlow I personally think irish would be more prone to staying here at holiday times instead of lining the pockets of other countries. Iv being going there now for over 30 years. I'm now 48 .and have,stayed in a lot of hotels none of them even come close to the welcome/ organisation/ and helpfullness of the staff and management there even,the house keeping staff are outstanding. So I would really recommend a stay and you'll see what I mean. PATRICK AND TRACEY CALLAGHAN

03/11/2024: Staff are always so helpful and considerate, any issues I have are usually resolved quickly and if someone is unsure of something management is always there to help out which I loved. The drinks are great, cocktails are delicious and the skills are amazing.

11/11/2024: We booked a table at The Clink for a post Engagement party brunch and it was super. The service and food are second to none. The staff are so friendly and efficient and the little touch of balloons on the table for us was really appreciated. Looking forward to our next visit!

15/10/2024: I visited Shapla again last week and decided to change my review. The food has been changed significantly, food is much nicer and delicious. I spoke with staff and know that I just changed the chef, he is so friendly, hospitality and very welcoming customers. I was so happy with what I paid for great service and nice food. Definitely visit more often now

09/09/2024: I ordered balti food and curry and kebabs absolute rubbish, disgusting food, had eggs burps and horrible farts two days straight, the food is not fresh, I will not recommend at all to go near or even order from this horrid restraunt, waste off money, time and health.

17/11/2024: An absolute shambles,it looks like the whole staff are children,rude and haven't a clue how to deal with customers. Has to be the worst drive through service in ireland, asked for 2 kids meals and 2 large cappuccinos,went to pay and saw regular cappuccinos on the screen so she altered it and I paid for it,went to the 2nd window and they had 2 reg cappuccinos already made so she proceeded to pour the 2 regulars into large mugs, A pure dump

27/10/2024: Been here many times over the last twenty years but very disappointed with last visit. Booked for 8 o clock to avail of the after 8 menu which we availed of last time. Starters, mains and a drink for 2 for €50. First server told us it wasn't available anymore, second server said it wasn't available on Saturday nights as it's too busy. It's basically a smaller version of the main menu so can't see why not. As they close at 9 we felt we were being rushed with the first server asking had we decided within a minute of sitting down. Second server 2 minutes later. I picked the kung po chicken which should be spicy. It was absolutely tasteless. I mean NO taste at all. Other half's duck was more fat than duck. This place is not as good as it used to be. Standards have slipped.
