17/03/2026: Absolutely terrible. Very expensive and we only got the tiniest portion of fries, 2 baby burgers (cost €11!!’) and some potatoes with brisket that has absolutely no flavour. The mocktails we got were so sour and sickly sweet and I’m a huge sweet tooth so you know it’s bad. My fiancé and I were so excited to come as last time we came it was booked out. But I’m extremely disappointed and left unsatisfied. Had to get McDonald’s to fill us up. Personally I wouldn’t come back and I advise not to waste your money. Only good thing is the atmosphere and it’s very cosy. If i could do zero stars for the food I would. I never write reviews but I don’t want anyone else feeling left so disappointed . Go to mimosa instead, it’s pricey but flavourful and so much more worth it.

08/03/2026: It's a very nice place. The food is a bit pricey for the portion size; I understand it's a tapas restaurant, but it would be nice to have more substantial dishes for a proper dinner. Everything comes in small portions, but the flavor and presentation are 10/10.

15/10/2025: Not good at all. Fish was burnt to a crisp, pure black. Weird smell off the bun, donner meat was cold. Chips were OK had they been warm. Chicken tenders were burnt but probably the only good thing in the while order. Also forgot my sauce. Milkshake was good

10/10/2025: Recently I’ve been getting the vegetarian kebab from here once a week and usually really enjoy it, great flavour and value. Unfortunately, my last order contained meat, which was very disappointing as a vegetarian. Just a heads-up for others who order the veggie option. Sadly, I won’t be returning again.

23/11/2025: Has to be the best coffee around. Its always busy. The coffees from iced latte and chai latte to americano and flat white are exceptional. The sandwiches are really good as are the acai bowls

26/02/2026: The guy who delivered, likely the owner, was very rude and condescending. We ordered a samosa, pakodas, paneer makhni and South indian garlic chilli chicken. Firstly, they had added INSANE amount of food colouring which is unhealthy and never a good sign.(bright orange paneer dish). Second, the paneer makhni was… SWEET. As someone from India who has grown up eating tandoori dishes, this is a SIN. Third, the potato filling in samosa was undercooked and had NO flavour. Pakodas and South Indian chicken were average at best. Overall, our food experience was horrible and I’m sorry, you are being robbed of good authentic Indian food.

06/04/2026: Me and my friends went down to the outdoor area of the pub. Heating didn’t work outside, there was giant gaping holes in the roof and it altogether looked like it was about to collapse. We decide to leave because one of my friends felt sick, suddenly we get stopped by a staff member who gets up all in my friends’ face and I quote. "It’s one thing to make me clean your vomit but another to steal my vape.” my friend is asthmatic, she wouldn’t have even touched it. (And my friend had informed one of the staff kindly about the bathroom, didn’t just leave it) and she continues "don’t lie to me, you were the last ones in there.” extremely unprofessional and accusatory without even talking it out.

15/03/2026: I called and ordered a large order for me and my cousin because we were supposed to eat before going to the airport. I gave them my address and my number and asked if we could pay with cash at the door and they said yeah of course. After an hour and a half we tried calling the EXACT number back and they BLOCKED my number. So after that I called a different number and asked about my order. They said there was no order to our address and that they don’t even do the whole ‘pay by cash for your delivery’ so now I’m very angry. This is unacceptable because they have MY ADDRESS and MY PHONE NUMBER. I used to get deliveries like this normally and there was never a problem. I’m disappointed

18/04/2026: Got a Simple noodles and Crispy shredded chicken I didn't realize I was Ordering from this takeaway.Everyone knows in carlow stay away 😅 Just go to kung fu our golden aroma much better and u wont be poisoned

07/04/2026: Awful experience here today, girl working in there has no customer service skills, to busy minding her small children hidden in the corner of the restaurant, ordered the billies meal deal, was then told on paying that apparently what we had ordered was infact not included on the meal deal which I said we should have been informed about this and she just shrugged at me with a stinking attitude. Would never return here again the food was rotten and I’ve genuinely never experienced such awful customer service. Avoid this place.

14/02/2026: I previously reviewed Lemongrass quite high, but after my visit today I have to lower it massively. Such a disappointing visit. Starter came out at regular timing and was delicious, but then we seemed to have just been forgotten for 50 minutes for our mains, despite several members of staff and we think the manager coming up to us to check on us multiple times. This was fine, whatever. Our main finally arrives, noodles were very greasy for my partner so she couldn't finish them, and an extra portion of chips we asked for were forgotten and had to ask for them again, another 5-10 minutes to get those. Once we finished and plates for main taken away, another 15 minutes for desserts to show up. We come to pay and because we were waiting so long they would "only charge us for starters, desserts and drinks". But sure didn't they double charge those so they didn't miss out on too much money? €68 euro for "2" starters, "2" desserts, 1 portion of chips, and 3 drinks (which were just cokes btw, nothing alcoholic that could've possibly bulked up the price). Other people arrived, were served, ate, and left before we got our mains. Can safely say I'm never going here again.

07/04/2026: A good McDonald's in terms of food quality but there is too much of a consistency with orders being wrong. My advice would be to check takeaway bags before you leave the restaurant. Overall, a good McDonald's.
