19/12/2024: I absolutely love this place. The food is gorgeous and fresh. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Being Christmas time, makes it the place to be.

15/02/2025: Decided to give it a try after driving past it many times. Hate writing a bad review when restaurants are struggling, especially in provincial towns, away from big city centres, but this was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Tandoori Chicken starter was tasteless. Samosa was frozen. possibly from Aldi across the road. 2 main courses didn’t improve matters. Pilau rice was microwaved in a pouch. Cannot describe the prawn curry other than to say it came in a Pyrex bowl, and looked like it was four prawns with a jar of something thrown over it. No red wine, coke was flat. Place was freezing. Indian restaurants generally have managed to retain some degree of authenticity and craft when compared to their Chinese counterparts, but I am afraid New Moon is bucking that trend. Terrible experience.

21/12/2024: Very disappointed. Takeaway was put in the bin. The mains very very oily. Second time trying... never again.

08/05/2024: Dry food, not tasty and too salty…. Not good food. (Dry burger, risotto too salty and not tasty) Kind of expensive for the food. It’s pity that a 4 star hotel is represented by this restaurant… Waiters were nice and kind, that’s the good point of this restaurant. (Not so many options for vegetarians)

15/02/2025: Been there,worst experience ever,waited for half an hour just to order..another waited for an hour for starter and another an hour for main menu..even give me food that I didn't order 😒..food wasn't as authentic Chinese anyway..

31/01/2025: A very good experience at this fast-food establishment. A wonderful place, the food is delicious, and I would especially recommend the "chicken doner kebab." Takeaway and delivery are excellent—fast and tasty.

30/12/2024: I have been getting Metro Grill since I moved to Carlow, a little too often some might say, however I can say wholeheartedly that you will not find a better takeaway anywhere in Ireland, the food is absolutely fantastic whether you order at 5 in the afternoon or at 2 in the morning, Metro Grill will make sure you leave with a full belly and a smile, professional and polite, I can guarantee that the customer service and quality of food are top notch, great selection, packed with flavour and made by absolute gentleman, if Metro Grill ever disappears, I will leave this county! Absolutely recommend this place if you need a bit of grub!

06/03/2025: KFC is going down the drain fast, the staff need to sort it out so went with my family spent nearly €70 everything was cold not just warm cold its a not good enough. The place was quiet so no excuse. Nearly no dressing on tower burgers , It has happened before upon previous visit ( cold food ) an I have let it slide but its just everytime every visit now and the tables were dirty sticky not cleaned between visits, the waste bin overflowing... staff shouting been loud ... KFC sort it out or I don't it'll be viable in future, customers will walk they will go elsewhere. Just Really disappointed. On a plus loads of parking maybe that's a sign? Customers don't like cold food

05/03/2025: Food was cold, 4 meals all the same, wasn't busy so no excuse for cold food

10/02/2025: Very happy with the staff and atmosphere. The food was nice and warm when we got it delivered the pizza was very nice. The correct toppings were on it and they didn't mess the order up and the delivery was on time. All the sides were there overall it was a very nice pizza place to order out of overall 5/5 stars. The amount of money that we had to pay wasn't that much compared to other pizza places. The staff were very nice my family would probably order out of there again if we are ever hungry on a weekend afternoon/night.

01/01/2025: Been ordering from Kung Fu for years but last night I was so disappointed with my food. Ordered a satay noodle box with king prawn but the sauce was extremely watery and tasteless. Normally it’s thick with chunks of peanuts throughout but this sauce was almost like a strange broth at the bottom of my noodle box, with almost no flavour to it at all. Vegetables also tasted a little off, they didn’t seem fresh, broccoli was very mushy. Also ordered a portion of chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce but was disappointed with the size of them, they were more like chicken nuggets and were sopping with grease. The sweet and sour sauce also had a strange jelly like consistency, which was quite off putting. I’m not sure I would order from here again, quite sad as normally this is my to-go spot for a Chinese, sorry.
