The best restaurants in Carlow

05/11/2026: Genuinely good food, fresh and massive portions, also just a bag of chips is top notch, can't recommend enough 🙌

22/10/2026: Has to be one of the worst chipper ever got food from. Two fresh Cod meals which cost 20 Euro.Thursday 5to4 took half an hour so we thought this will be top class.Did we get a shock chips all dark brown horrible but the so called Fresh Cod so soggy and Greasy,it was hard to find the Cod in the the very thick batter how are they getting away serving this rubbish.Never ever again. If we could give minus 5+ we would.Carlow.

01/11/2026: Stuff doesn't let me and my friends after standing in queue 1 hour at Halloween. I was disappointed and sad after that. I don't recommend that clube

21/09/2026: Looks decent. The djs play the same songs every time, no variety whatsoever, just house music the whole time.

25/06/2026: Went into the restaurant at 12.55 with 2 people ahead of me and exited with my roll at 13.22. 1 person working at a snails pace and even stopping during making a customers roll to service a delivery. Queue at this stage 7/8 long. Second employee walks in 13.16 which isn't good enough. You'll need to take a half day in order to get your lunch in this place.

16/06/2026: Why you block me. And what do you mean the package "came" in the "mail"

21/06/2026: Ordered take away for 5 people and paid 90 euros. An hour later we got our order. I was disappointed with the Pad Thai, as it was burnt. Couldn't eat it! No flavour. Spice box chicken hardly from chicken it was like the coating of the chicken only. Phoned them to complain and she put the phone down saying she will call me back. This place used to be my favourite, but I won't order anymore.

08/06/2026: i went by myself but i think it's good for little dates with who you love after exams i was so tired and i really wanted to eat something and so i decided to go there and try something i dont regret it at all it was so delicious i tried the seabass bento and im 100% sure if i go there again i will eat the same thing i really liked it in fact i loved it i ate every last crumb if you like fish you should try it too it's €20.90 for it if you can afford it buy it definitely the lady working was so nice im sad i didnt get her name the table i sat at had a very fun design i like the fish in the table a lot it's so simple but was so cute and i love cute things the atmosphere is so cosy and feels just like home i love the lights on the walls and the way everything is positioned it wasnt claustrophobic and was so comfortable i dont go out in town often but this place is making me less of an inside person and more of an outside one the food came fast and even came with a free gyoza (i think it is called a gyoza) it was really tasty 10/10 amazing people amazing food amazing place

15/08/2026: Terrible. Basically no cheese and dried up tomato sauce on the base. I'd of brought it back but we'd just got home to eat it. Waste of money.

17/07/2026: I bought one small cheese pizza and one portion of chicken wings, which came to a total of €18.50. Because my younger sister is still a child and didn’t know the price, she handed the cashier €30. However, she was only given €1.50 in change, when she should have received €11.50. When I realized what had happened, I went back to the restaurant and spoke to them politely. All I wanted was for them to understand the situation and check the security camera so we could resolve the issue in a friendly and respectful way. We have been loyal customers for many years, which is why this experience was extremely disappointing. Very disappointing and completely unacceptable. When we arrived, they immediately insisted that their employee was right, making it seem as though we were the ones who were lying. They chose to believe their staff without properly investigating and treated us with a clear lack of respect. We asked to speak with the cashier who had served us, but the owner initially refused to call her over. After I found her myself, she then suggested checking the CCTV again and kept avoiding giving a clear answer. This was after they had already repeatedly insisted that their employee was correct. It is truly upsetting that after supporting this business for several years, this is how we were treated.

18/08/2026: I bought Margarita pizza and chips also a Coke. Halfway through my chips I bit Into a frozen chip, at first I thought it was just overcooked but then realised it was actually frozen so I checked a few others and they were frozen too so I am really mad. Hopefully I don’t get food poisoning.

29/06/2026: Really good pizza. Will definitely go back :)

04/10/2026: Ordered from here on a night out and have gotten a raw battered sausage and raw pizza

16/08/2026: I ordered a mixed kebab and I only received the doner kebab; the chicken wasn't included, and the box also said "mix." This is the third time they've gotten my order wrong; they need to be more attentive
