27/04/2026: I have eaten here before and food was excellent, I was back in the area and decided to eat again. The counter assistant looked like he slept in his clothes and had only got out of bed and then he told me that they don't do Indian food anymore. Considering this is primarily an Indian takeaway with a full Indian menu. I won't be back.

The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The kebabs were juicy, the portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can really tell they care about quality and customer service.
Definitely one of the best takeaway spots in Sligo — highly recommended and I’ll definitely be ordering again!
12/05/2026: I will give it to the place it used to be tops back in the day but ever since 2022 or so ive just had constant bad experiences with the food, i usually go other places but if im desperate ill order from here if everywhers closed. Last time ive ordered from here was 4-5 weeks ago, i ordered for delivery and i got a kebab tray with chips and garlic sauce and my woman got a garlic cheese chips. For starters i wont complain about how long it can take to deliver because i know it can get busy, but when we got our food you could immediately smell something off when you take it out the bag. I open up my kebab and chips and the smell could knock you out, the doner was foul tasting as well and feels like chewing on a strip of rubber. both mine and the womans chips were half raw and her cheese was gone off and soure, there was no mold on it and i thought she mightve been exaggerating until i had a try and i near puked me ring up, had to throw it right in the bin. Only reason i write this is because im after having a lovely garlic chip else where and it still sickens me to this day how anyone could serve food like that to people and think theyre a "good chipper". This is only my recent experience with this place because theres too many bad ones to write about. Never again will i order from here i wouldnt feed it to the dog

24/04/2026: Guys please, do not order from this pizza shop. Totally disaster, my family and I just got food poisoned. Sick since yesterday, my mom was throwing up the whole night till now. One of my little brother is sick and throwing up, my twin brother also sick and throwing up. And now me. I have been throwing up 9 times now. So bad.

31/12/2025: I ordered food a hour and a half ago, and nothing! I payed for it and you did not deliver, I strongly suggest that nobody gets anything of them, shame on the person that runs that place. I'll come down tomorrow and get my money back, not nice! I can't give minus because that's what you deserve.

22/07/2025: Stopped for dinner on way to Dublin. Food was lovely, freshly cooked, really tasty, great value and lovely staff. We will definitely return.
30/06/2025: Haven't visited the Lisgrey house - was looking to book a family meal for 8 to celebrate a birthday but having read the most recent reviews chose to book elsewhere.

St. Kyran's Restaurant
07/07/2024: We had our wedding reception in St Kyrans on June 29th 2024. We cannot express how over the moon we were with the service provided. Firstly the venue is absolutely beautiful. We live locally and were so happy to celebrate our wedding with amazing views of lough ramor as the backdrop.
We contacted Helena and Patrick about our wedding plans in May 2023 after getting engaged and from that moment onwards they could not have been more helpful. We had a BBQ style meal outside on the terrace and the sun shone down on all the guests as we took in the amazing views while we ate. We were absolutely blown away by the food and desserts served. As two foodies seeing everyone so satisfied with their meals was certainly one of the highlights of our night. I cannot keep track of how many guests contacted me afterwards to compliment the quality of the food. It was absolutely outstanding and on a whole other level to other wedding venues in our opinion. The venue did an amazing job of catering for all of our guests with dietary requirements and made sure guests were never left without a topped up drink in their hand.
In the run up to the wedding Helena and Patrick helped us feel at ease by reassuring us that they had thought of every little detail. This meant we could relax on the day knowing our guests were taken care of. Some of our guests had cancelled flights the night before the wedding and arrived much later than planned. Helena went above and beyond for these guests stay up late to check them all in.
We highly recommend St Kyrans as a wedding or party venue. Helena and Patrick are clearly passionate about what they do and provide an exceptional service with a warm personal touch.
