15/10/2024: Inexpensive B&B. Room was clean and warm and comfortable but the floorboards in the room upstairs were really creaking and noisy at 07.30!
24/07/2024: I was in Farnham House B & B for a month and it’s a very nice and quiet place to be. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring. The place exceeded my expectations. It was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Cavan Town

14/07/2024: One of the worst bars I’ve ever been to. The staff are terrible, the music is terrible and they only appreciate the locals. We had a few friends in here and we were ignored. Totally unfriendly. If you’re not a local of the bar - do not go here. Everybody stares, bartenders make you feel unwelcome and you’re treated as if you’ve invaded somebody’s space. The staff look like they really dislike their jobs and do not want to be there. I honestly love visiting lots of bars and mixing with people and this is just not the place to do that.

The good batch

18/10/2024: Visited 2 years ago and still remember how amazing the shakshuka was. Went today but aware they close at 4pm, I rang up first. Kitchen closes at 3.30pm and we got there at 27 minutes past. We were not rushed at all. Had a triple decker and the best avo on sourdough toast ever. Can't praise this place enough. Staff and food are absolutely fantastic and spotlessly clean. We will be back on next visit to Ireland.

12/08/2024: Absolutely terrible place, expensive, staff including the manager are unprofessional.
Ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows for a child and they put 2 marshmallows in it. We thought they forgot so approached the staff, they said that's the procedure and if we wanted 2 more we would have to spend an extra 76 cents 🤨 after spending almost 40 euro for 2 adults and 2 kids and to be told to pay extra for 2 mini marshmallows us disgraceful.
The manger new it was wrong and approached us to explain it was the procedure. We replied that it's an unfair thing to charge and management should be told, she explained she was management 🙄 We left it at that.Wont be returning

20/09/2024: Was on holiday for a few days with the Mrs & went here for a meal 1 night, as a couple who travel a lot & like to experience new restaurants, I've got to say the food & experience was great. The beef cheeks were amazing, the best ive actually had, perfectly cooked, the Mrs is still talking about her garlic prawns she had as a starter. I will definitely be giving this place another visit next time I'm in the area

20/08/2024: I had an amazing experience at Ko's Cavan! The sushi was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. It’s definitely the best spot for sushi in town. I’ll be back for more!

11/08/2024: expensive and staff interaction is nil,wheelchair parking is either 400 yards from dublin side or 400 yards after shop. you may be lucky to get a nearer parking bay very close but parking manners is abysmal....e.g.taking two spaces etc,am sure the instruction re parking is ignored or unknown.Cavan drivers not great on parking,lane observance or roundabouts

17/07/2024: Excellent food, great menu and service. We are visitors here and we were happy to have an excellent lunch here while we are driving around and exploring. The wait staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend The Town Diner in Ballyjamesduff! Thank you!
