02/05/2025: We're staying nearby and heard the food was good here - don't be put off by the exterior as the food was like vely and really big portions of it..
At home a take-away usually feeds hubby and I for 2 days - from here it's going to feed both of us for at least 3 days!
We had an assortment of food (3 starters and 2 mains) and everything is wonderful, and way better value than we get in the UK.
Staff were really friendly too.
Can't fault it at all 😊

01/09/2025: Been ordering from Starcourt for years & never had any issue. Staff are so lovely & friendly. Great portion sizes & gorgeous food- they do the best satay I've ever had, so much so that when we moved house we still choose to order from here rather than any of the Chinese takeaways closer to us. 10/10
03/04/2025: Not bad but expensive for what it is. Prices seem to increase with every new menu which is quite regular.

21/06/2025: The Town Diner was such a wonderful find. The food was some of the best we had in Ireland, no matter the price. Everything was fresh and simply prepared. The seating area was relaxed with a mix of locals. Our sever was a young lady that couldn’t have been more pleasant. We are from the U.S. and it reminded us of a classic American diner. Even the coffee was excellent.
My wife and I were researching her Irish lineage in Ballyjamesduff and were looking for someplace to get a bite.

Très belle et bonne assiette, tout comme les desserts
Service sympa et efficace,dans un joli cadre loin des décors des pubs avoisinants (et repas plus calme …)
Tout comme l’eau, la note est un peu salée (130 euros les 2 plates + 2 desserts + 4 verres), mais c’est l’Irlande …

02/09/2025: Simply the only Chinese restaurant in Cavan that we order from because it has no equal. Food is always amazing, service is friendly, fast and professional and if you want a nice atmosphere in the restaurant or simply a fantastic takeout Ko's will take care of you.

02/06/2025: Stayed here for one night recently with my fiancé. It's a great little spot in the middle of nowhere. The very polite host had no issue letting us check in a few hours early. Cheerful interior, very clean.
Our room had a small en suite bathroom (stand up shower) as well as a flatscreen TV and comfortable double bed + large wardrobe. Bed was comfortable. The road outside can be a bit loud late at night but nothing that the TV can't drown out.
10 minute walk from the main part of Cavan town, 5 minute walk from a weekly farmer's market. It's very easy to just carry luggage from the bus station to the B&B at that distance if you're travelling the fun way.
01/06/2025: Very quiet cozy B&B the lady running it was very polite and it was very fair on the pricing.

All your employees are walking around the restaurant but outside No one comes This is not the first time I've come here I was a loyal customer I can say I will never go again

10/06/2025: We have used the Gourmet Parlour on a number of occasions for outside catering, never disappoints. Catherine and staff are always on the ball. Would definitely recommend.
