The best restaurants in Cavan

28/10/2025: My husband and I had the best culinary experience in all of Ireland here. And I truly mean it was a wonderful experience, not just a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was at a relaxed pace, and each course was beautifully curated (both flavours and presentation). The dining space was cozy but spacious too, so it felt intimate. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

18/06/2025: I'll be honest with you mate, stores like this make me a conspiracy believer., when you look around the products in the store, you only see massive generic name products. You never see any small manufacturer, local goods. Maybe there's some small cheeses. But by and large everything in this store is a massive commercial products. And considering how small the town this is, it's an abomination and quite sad. But the ice cream machine! Bomb

12/11/2025: A fantastic café that's very quickly becoming my favourite in Cavan. Iv been twice getting a lunch and couldn't leave without the deserts. Highly recommend the cheesecakes (attached lemon) the avacoda bruschette or the poached eggs (attached) all very divine. Iced coffee isn't Watery but bold flavoured.

19/08/2025: We recently held a company party at Malone’s, and it was a brilliant day from start to finish. With over 70 staff in attendance, everything ran so smoothly thanks to Aisling, who organised it all, from the delicious food by The Pig’s Tale to the live music later in the evening. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Everyone had a great time, and we’re already looking forward to making this an annual event. Highly recommend for any occasion! Thank you from all of us at The O'Reilly Group 🙂

20/10/2025: Best food in Cavan. Great taste and very reasonable prices. Well behaved staff. Would highly recommend. Must try their milkshakes (hard to find something like this in Ireland).

02/05/2025: We're staying nearby and heard the food was good here - don't be put off by the exterior as the food was like vely and really big portions of it.. At home a take-away usually feeds hubby and I for 2 days - from here it's going to feed both of us for at least 3 days! We had an assortment of food (3 starters and 2 mains) and everything is wonderful, and way better value than we get in the UK. Staff were really friendly too. Can't fault it at all 😊

08/11/2025: We visited this pub Thursday 6th November while staying in a local Band Bfor family wedding the barmaid Ann was so welcoming lovely atmosphere highly recommended
