18/05/2026: One of the best Chinese food I tried, well done jemmy!!👏🏻

03/05/2026: Lovely chips made from real potatoes. The fresh cod was nice but was in the chiller first so would have been even better if it was freshly dipped in the batter then fried to have a crispy batter.

10/07/2026: Food is freshly cooked, Staff are pleasant and it's Irish Owend and Run - I have eaten here several times for both breakfast and lunch sittings and food is to a high standard and reasonably priced 5*

30/06/2026: A quick stop in Virginia to recaffineate led us to stop off here. Good coffee and a proper selection of bakery items, such as you only encounter in a local place. I had a slice of coffee cake and my wife had a bowl of trifle, both delightful. Picked up a ginger cake to bring home, well received.

09/11/2025: Driving through the countryside on our tour of Ireland. Noticed this place and dropped in. A great place to grab a bite and some great coffee!

11/06/2026: Had a grand old Full Irish here. Alas it wasn't as 'full' as I'd have liked with no Black or White Pudding, or a fried tomato. Not that I personally would look for them, there were also no mushrooms. Otherwise everything was nicely cooked and served well. Table service was also very fast (maybe a little too fast 🤔 did we cook from scratch??). There was one check in before I'd started and I was then left alone. It's a nice spot but lacked any atmosphere on my visit as the place was pretty empty. I'd an Oatmilk latte alongside my food, which was nice. All in I paid €14 so not overly expensive but not cheap either.

21/03/2026: Definitely one of the best pubs in Ireland (and I been to a lot😄) always a great atmosphere, with live music regularly. Lots of cosy corners as well as an outdoor courtyard with a stage for bands during the summer. Pool tables, jukebox, dartboard, Tv. Most importantly, great pints and friendly staff and clientele.

11/06/2026: Lovely food served in great big portions. You will never leave Aroma feeling hungry! It is affordable as well and all round a great spot to pop in for breakfast or lunch

28/04/2026: Ordered a coffee and scone, scone was toasted which I didn't ask for so I'm guessing it wasn't a fresh scone and didn't taste fresh. Cost €8, Dublin prices in Ballyconnell.

26/01/2026: Definitely the best food around, a party of 9 of us there on sat & sun, all complimenting the various dishes. Steak sandwich was superb, desserts devine. Great staff and management. We'll be back .

14/06/2026: Stopped off for a drink and Sunday lunch. Lovely friendly service and a tempting menu. The food arrived BLOODY fast but was hot, tasty and plentiful. So much so that we had desserts - which were amazing. Great place for a stop off!
