18/11/2025: 10/10 highly recommend. So much choice on the Menu, it all looks great. Emma was a lovely server, very professional and 5 star service. I got a Vol-au-vent as a main with side salad and chips. I don't like coleslaw but first time ever eating as it was gorgeous. Food was brilliant. I got a coffee afterwards which was absolutely perfect. Lovely spot to drop in alone or with family/friends. Will be back

23/10/2025: We spent a week in Belturbet for family and buisness reasons. After having a meal in the seven horseshoes, well, we had 3 more dinners there day after day. I tend to travel quite a bit in Ireland, and I can say without a doubt this has probably the best quality food I have had the good pleasure of having, combined with lovely service , and a great feel. Plates came out hot, food was prepared on the spot to the highest quality, and the open fire lent the place even a better ambiance. Would return without a doubt, and recommend anyone going through Cavan to have a meal there. I guarantee you wont be disappointed.

19/10/2025: A joke.we use dine in here not any more stick it so ye's can.came outta my way to pop in get 2 takeaway beef dinners and half dinner this was 13.50pm to bring home.comes back saying won't be able do anything till half 2.how long does it bloody take cut bita meet put into takeaway containers absolute joke.

27/09/2025: The best coffee I’ve ever had in Cavan! I dream about it daily! The iced vanilla latte is a work of art, and the carrot cake was lovely too! The staff is really attentive and the vibe in there so great! It’s always packed, especially during lunch time so that says it all!

02/09/2025: Fabulous selection of food, freshly cooked and an exceptionally good coffee which is hard to find at times. Nice friendly, pleasant, helpful staff. Added bonus of freshly baked (in store) breads and cakes on offer too. Small intimate seated area to front of cafe and another nice seating area to the back. Have returned several times and will continue to do so. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

16/11/2025: Busy but a great place for lunch. They have a varied tasty menu, trained staff who know what to do. For a busy cafe they are well organised. Lovely venue for lunch. They cover breakfast and lunch. We will return on our way home. We'll worth a visit

15/08/2025: Our dessert table at our wedding was from Cafe Nua, and it was the most popular thing of the day! Everything was gone in seconds. Laura and her team were great to deal with and they delivered straight to the venue. We had sampled plenty of their delicious desserts in the run up and they were all hits with family members, including the delicious vegan carrot cake. Fantastic business, highly recommend!! Thanks a mil Cafe Nua!

20/11/2025: Back to again to the Willows 15/11/25. As usual the staff are friendly, service is prompt & polite, the food is excellent and even the decor is appealing… what else do you need for an excuse to treat yourself to breakfast, brunch etc ? Can’t recommend here enough 👍

24/11/2025: Called into Sean's Diner yesterday before heading to the Christmas market. I had scrambled egg with toast (3 slices!) absolutely stuffed I couldn't finish it. €10.50 which included tea, such great value. Place was decorated beautifully with lovely background Christmas music and service was first class. Not my first time here and won't be my last. Keep up the good work Sean 👍

20/09/2025: Absolute hidden gem. The keepers Arms is a perfect location for anyone looking for a peaceful night away in the centre of some amazing tourist attractions. Its at the foot of the cuilcagh mountains and in the centre of the cuilcagh geopark with some amazing sites to see. And to top it off its DOG FRIENDLY! Sheila and all the staff couldnt make us feel more welcome and was so kind and helpful during our stay. Lily my dog was made feel welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Even has great pints of guinness too! Bar food served in the evenings was really good and lots of it and very affordable. Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked for you and lily wasnt left out either ❤️ Little garden area for anyone taking there dog out in the night. Really couldnt recommended the place more. Its a home away from home feel. And please call for the best price 🙏🏻

19/08/2025: Off road parking lovely rooms fantastic hostess. Nothing too much trouble, very friendly. Well worth a stay. Cater for anglers including drying room. Great place to stay. Easy to find in Bawnboy.
