26/10/2024: Absolutely fantastic dining experience here. My friend Ally and I had the Lamb and it was 10/10. The owner is the chef here and he is an awesome host, the food is also next level. I highly recommend Murph’s bar. If you want the best dining experience in Cavan in beautiful surroundings this is the place to come to. Regards Alan.
26/10/2024: Loved the food here. Everything looked amazing. I had the duck and some soup and both were quite delicious. Excellent at handling gluten free.

12/11/2024: Great food, inventive and confident cooking, Game pie starter was gorgeous as was wild mallard, (he was light weight - a busy flyer) . A lovely setting and look forward to a return visit.
08/11/2024: Awful, do not go, terrible service. We arrived and ordered wine, then our wine glasses were taken away? Why I have no idea but wine was poured away from the table and tasted like vinegar, we did not finish it. The table next to us had wine poured at the table and asked to taste. Our meal was served much after people who arrived later and I had to go to the bar just to get our drink orders as they were not sent to the table. we would let it slide if the blonde waitress was not so rude, but also while treating the regulars like royalty.

04/11/2024: On the way to Stairways to Heaven from Dublin we stopped for a small energy boost and a coffee. Excellent cakes with a large choise, it is eaven possible to choose gluten free. Lively atmosphere and very cosy. This place is worth to coming back. Thank you ;)

24/10/2024: From a French perspective, the organisation is pretty weird. We waited at the entrance to ask if there were a table for 2 available but a waitress (not really nice :/) finally told us that we had to queue to order and then, we would sit and wait to have our dishes... Still, the sandwiches were good and it was pretty fast to get our orders. The drink lady was so nice ! :)

Bunch of useless waitresses that have Absolutely no motive to be there.
Told to sit wherever.
After 15min had to fetch my own menu as nobody came to bring.
Had to find a waitress to take our food.
Had to walk to the bar to get my own drinks as nobody around.
Nobody checked up on us during service.
Ordered another round of drinks, after 15min had to go ask where our drinks where.
Avoid this place like the plague.
Rather find a coffee shop in town and receive better service.
14/07/2024: €27.80 for 2 coffees which were not nice, very small bottle of kids juice, very small portion of chips, a sandwich and a very small scone! God help tourism in these parts, dearer than most Dublin places.

P.S There's a young Lad Callum in Curkish who Is About 12yrs old he has 40 plus chickens cocks hens and even quail eggs 🍳 I recommend him for a wee stall hes Very Hardworking Fair and a young Entrepreneur

25/07/2024: Pleasure to book castle with this company, great choice of castles and excellent communication and easy online booking system. Our kids loved the obstacle course castle and delivery and set up/collection was so easy to coordinate.thank you.
07/05/2024: Great service, the lads came on the set day and set everything up in 10 minutes and did the same on collection. Kids loved the bouncy castle with slide. Will definitely hire again from Damiens Castles
