The best restaurantsof chinese

13/08/2025: We were going to place an order for delivery as we were staying in the owners air BNB attached to their house. He advertised his business in the bnb. Owners were unapologetic about the filthy conditions of the house and we had no choice but to leave early due to multiple health hazards in their property. I ordered from A1 instead and it was no exaggeration to say it was one of the best or the best satays I've ever had in Ireland. I wouldn't want to see what the state of their kitchen is in the restaurant they own considering their unit was a mess and even though it was paid for 8 months ago that place had dust everywhere that had been there for years, mold and grime everywhere. Their attitude with us showed their poor customer service as well. Why would you want to order from nasty people who aren't clean even in their own home when there are two other Chinese restaurants steps away with from the looks of the other reviews cheaper and better food. We are all sick and have rashes after staying in their bnb and I wouldn't chance eating anything they'd make.

24/04/2025: I ordered two Szechuan chicken tonight.When I took it home it tasted absolutely nothing like Szechuan chicken.Just pre cooked chicken in a type of sauce with veg and no flavour of any kind.I have just moved to Midleton and love Chinese food but I won’t be back.

13/04/2025: No he estado en este chino durante meses, pero decidió tener otra oportunidad. Pedido Thai Chicken (especial del chef) y Spicy Chicken box. El pollo picante era asquerosamente dulce, como comer un postre dulce. Pollo tailandés con arroz frito, alguien olvidó que era picante y omitió cualquier chile o jengibre fortificado. De vuelta a la astilladora en el futuro.

08/03/2025: Pollo con salsa de frijoles negros excesivamente dulce y no comestible. La carne en arroz frito tampoco es genial. Debería haber buscado sus comentarios antes de ordenar y evitamos este restaurante.

10/07/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Una de las peores experiencias gastronómicas que he tenido. La espera fue ridículamente larga, y cuando finalmente llegó la comida, era apenas comestible. El camarero arrojó los platos sobre la mesa como si fuéramos una molestia sólo por estar allí. Durante todo ese tiempo nos sentimos completamente mal recibidos, como si fuéramos una carga simplemente porque no éramos del mismo país. No hubo absolutamente ningún servicio al cliente y en un momento dado, el personal incluso se rió y bromeó en su propio idioma mientras nos miraban. Sinceramente sentimos que no pertenecíamos allí. No recomendaría este lugar a nadie. Evitalo

28/10/2025: I’m giving them 5 stars because: 1. Food- I ordered dry noodles as a side and salt and chilli chicken wings as a starter. The wings weren’t too salty and it was crunchy. So good with sweet and chilli sauce. The dry noodles was 10/10 as it comes with beansprouts, onions and Spring onions. I think it is the best among the best side noodles I’ve ever tasted ( for a takeaway level) . Not the usual dry noodles side you normally get from any chinese takeaway. My partner ordered Chicken balls and chips. The chips were Chunky and perfectly made. It wasn’t soggy and it was crunchy that it feels so good as it melts in your tongue. Not the usual soggy chips you get from other Chinese takeaway. The chicken balls were huge and it comes with an actual chicken breast inside. 2. Service- We ate our food inside the shop itself as we decided we don’t want to eat inside the car and it’s cold outside. They gave us plates and allowed us to eat in although its take away only (really appreciate that). 3. Atmosphere- The place itself is spacious inside, they have two tables and chairs you can use when you’re waiting around. Place was organise and not too messy inside. Chefs were wearing a hair cap while cooking which I think hygienic and great! Food from Chinese takeaways can either “great “or “just okay” but this one, you should try. Good value for money plus their food is simply amazing! I’d say cooked and prepared with finesse!

11/03/2025: Really nice food never got a bad meal in this Chinese . The phone lines can be very busy so ring ahead of time . Staff are always nice and I always seem to get what I ordered no mix ups .

10/06/2025: Hemos estado aquí por unos pocos cumpleaños familiares y nos encanta. La comida es de excelente calidad, el servicio es genial, muy amable. El restaurante está impecable, deseando volver.

09/06/2026: Left the shredded chicken out of the 4 in 1 so was just a 3 in 1, my daughter wasn't too happy about that. Chips were some of the worst chips I've ever eaten, tasted like old dirty oil. Genuinely really bad, spat them out. How do you mess up chips, easiest things ever to cook. Satay and the chicken was OK though, wife thought the satay was a bit bland and watery but I liked it. You get moved to 2 stars instead of 1 as the satay was nice but the spice bag, chips with shredded chicken and 3 in 1 that was supposed to be and charged as a 4 in 1 were all pretty much inedible as they were mainly chip based, and the chips were terrible. Your man behind the counter was sound though.
