The best restaurants in Cork

24/07/2025: Just ate here for lunch. Had a chicken breast sandwich with bacon and cheese meal. By god was it horrible. Re-heated chips and pre cooked chicken breast re-heated. Bacon tasted awful also. Burger was also cold. Far from "Fresh" as advertised! Had the same in the supermacs at junction 17 recently and it was very enjoyable, hot and fresh. Hence why I said I'd try it again. Little island outfit is awful bad. Not recommended at all. I should have known as it wasn't busy and all the other food outlets were.

06/06/2025: Very poor service in this SuperMacs. Ordered food. Only three other couples in store. Waited 20 mins and no food. Went to counter to ask about food, told it would be brought to the table, another 10 minutes before food arrived, when it arrived it was wrong. I should have just got a refund. There'll be no next time. Don't expect much from this place.

03/02/2025: Not a nice establishment. Very disrespectful to anyone outside their preferred group. Obviously in serious arrangements with local , untrustworthy influencer. There's other, more respected venues near by. I'll gladly discuss my experience with any member of management if they make contact. Again, avoid big time

12/08/2025: It’s shopping mall Chinese. You get what you expect, however it’s too expensive to return. 20€ for prawn fried rice and Diet Coke.

08/07/2025: Would be zero stars if I could. Owners or staff illegally park and dangerously drive on the plaza every day. Nearly knocked down my kid the other day and could not care less. Update: Still doing deliveries by driving over the grass.

16/03/2025: The kiosk by 5 points down the marina is awful. The young girl who works there at the weekend is rude and not interested. Place is dirty and coffee isnt great.

20/07/2025: Hawaiian pizza, €14. Probably an 85% profit outside of overheads. Toppings sparce and dough is quite chewy. Menu small. It's a mad place that Marina Market... Lovely atmosphere but the food is WAY overpriced.... for street food! More fool me for paying it. Ending up binning the last 3 slices.

19/05/2025: Delicious pizzas, incredible dough. They offer deals on drinks and sauce. I didn't like that I removed the blood sausage from my pizza and substituted pineapple, and they charged me extra.

12/05/2025: Ok shop - buy tea, coffee food etc but they have no toilet. I will go to a service station in future where they lnow what service is.

20/02/2025: Petrol station with plenty space, very good service and is very handy this petrol station be around here very closed of hospital where make a huge difference for the customers going into hospital others going work and they can have a breakfast here and a cop a coffee or tea, the community around the area sometimes take for grant.

24/05/2025: Thr poor rating before we visited was unjustified and the menu differed from that shown on Google. The choice of meals was very good. The staff were exceptional and the food was excellent. Would definitely return.

08/05/2025: We chose this restaurant for ease... we really regret it! Ultimately it would have been quicker to go to Cork to eat and come back! Everything was incredibly slow and yet there were no crowds... 15 minutes just to come and take an order and another good 30 minutes before we got our plates.

28/07/2025: I ordered from here last Friday, I got a hot dog and a mixed kebab in a wrap. As I bit into my hot dog I could taste that it was burned down I looked at it and it was completely burned on the bottom. And they gave me a doner kebab wrap instead of the mixed one I wanted.. my bf got a pizza and nuggets and they were fine but I wasn’t happy with why I got and I didn’t finish my food, we spent €38 on everything and they kept ringing us to make sure we were going to pay it and we said we had cash, didn’t expect to get burned food and a the wrong kebab.

07/07/2025: Great value, but nothing special. You get what you pay. Perfect place to eat if you’re not in the humour of paying over a 10er for a meal

No, The Staff were really rude and unhelpful, Saw one of the girls working behind the bar taking a picture of people sitting down from the cameras, A really unprofessional atmosphere to the place, No organization at all to the place especially for Party’s, Wouldn’t recommend

26/06/2025: I can not believe when i went recently to this place as I haven’t been there for a while that a kebab meal is now. €15!..the last time i was there and it wasn’t ages ago it was around €9. Just to add,this is my last time ever visiting Abrakebabra It really is a rip off!!

22/06/2025: Very disappointed in the Abrakebabra chicken kebab. Was really looking forward to it but chicken was over cooked & the kebab was over filled so difficult to eat. Won’t be buying again. Mahon Point.

04/08/2025: Bradley is rude and terrible service every time I’ve been here. He will always talk over you while you are still ordering trying to rush you to the till, he’s always got half the store closed and cleaned away hours before closing time. Today actively tried to get the other girl on shift not to get more ingredients from the back and wanted essentially to say they didn’t have it for my order, then started blaming some manager for “eating the head of him for opening another bag or marinara sauce”. I’ve seen his attitude rub off on the staff he’s on shift with too, people who are usually fantastic turn into rude and in a rush to get back to doing nothing in the back. Consistently I have problems with him and he brings the rest of the place down. Also this is now the only subway I’ve ever been where all your items are put on the counter and you have to bag them into a takeaway bag yourself

21/06/2025: Iv been here at least 5 times and I never had a good sub. It's either over cooked or extremely dry subs and they are so slow

29/04/2025: A cruel and unusual punishment to make their staff work today, and keep their deli open, with drain cleaners working right next to the deli and an awful smell taking over the entire premises. People were visibly gagging leaving the place. Disgusting keeping the place open.

20/07/2025: Very poor quality food. I’ve never had food this bad in Cork. Do not try it. Seriously disappointing. The only good item was the vegetable spring roll .

19/07/2025: Asked for a margarita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. I am strictly vegetarian and both pizzas had pepperoni on them. Couldn’t even eat any of of it. I paid for my friends for all the food to not eat anything. Terrible service.

05/07/2025: Had them once, food wasn't what I even ordered. I live nearby and they keep setting the fire alarms off, which states how often they burn the place up.

07/07/2025: The most ridiculously over priced coffee I’ve ever seen. Regular oat caramel latte was 7.20€. I am on the floor I cannot believe it is so expensive for bang average coffee. I asked the man at till if this was correct and he said oh we have to pay for the oat. I could quite literally buy about 5 cartons of oat milk for this price, which I will. RIDICULOUS

03/06/2025: Not sure how this place is open. Was speechless when charged €14.50 for an iced coffee and a single baklava bite. (and no milk in the latte!)
