The best restaurants in Cobh

24/11/2024: My lady and I eat breakfast and lunch here very regularly. Top class food always. They change some menu items regularly, presumably to control costs, as there is no logic to purchasing stock that isn't as popular as other items. Nevertheless, the products stocked are of the highest standard and from very reputable suppliers. I don't believe I have ever ordered anything that I haven't finished, and I consider myself an amateur foodie, albeit with almost 50 years of experience. It's a shame that they find themselves unable or perhaps not find it commercially viable to have their premises operate an evening trade. Without doubt my favourite diner in Cobh. We just need an evening venue now as social life in Cobh is at an all time low. Some excellent pubs but not enough of them. Anthony & Donna.... And let's not even mention the lack of transport to return home.

10/11/2024: Had breakfast here yesterday. I enjoyed my breakfast ciabatta so much I didn't notice that I spilt relish down my jumper. Wife pointed it out later and I smiled as I reminisced about the breakfast. Id recommend.

10/11/2024: Nice old world bar with a great Titanic themed vibe. There is very good variety of beers ciders.etc.. Friendly bar staff and a very competitive price, €8.50 for a pint of Guinness and a half pint of cider, I was charged €10.70 in a Cork city bar last night for the same round ! Guinness was very good 7 outta 10.

12/12/2024: Lovely sandwiches and sides with good variation in the menu, staff are super friendly. Slightly on the more expensive side but for the little extra you’re paying you get way better quality then the next cheapest option. Such good food and charming atmosphere! Highly recommend

09/11/2024: Food is serious lads, came here two days in a row as the breakfast is unreal. Plenty eating in it and not too pricey as well. Savage feed. One of the best places to grab breakfast on Cobh. Wasting your time in the town, food isn’t as good and it’s not as nice. Nice peaceful full out the windows as well.

12/11/2024: We were lucky yesterday, some other guests were practicing last night, so we had a live acapella concert.

10/12/2024: Had a lovely lunch here before we left Cobh. I had a panini and my partner had a bagel (which she said was the best bagel she ever had!). Highly recommended.

28/11/2024: Lovely paninis, tasty coffee, and fair prices for the quality. The atmosphere inside is cosy and warm.

01/12/2024: Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon, seated at the front window. Nice view of the water / harbour. Girls liked the spiced chai and Hot Chocolate, beverages. Soup was good ! Quiet cafe / bistro type interior and environment.

19/11/2024: We stopped here for breakfast and it was absolutely delightful! It's located on the most beautiful street and is super cozy inside. The staff was friendly, the patrons were welcoming, and the food was delicious!

31/08/2024: Best coffee around. Faultless and great value compared to the big coffee house. Freshly made cakes and the best scones you will ever taste.

17/08/2024: The best pizza in Cobh! If you visit Cobh you must try the Wholey Ground! During the day they have amazing coffee and delicious brownies and cakes and in the evening they have one of the best pizza you can get in Cork! Absolutely amazing and delicious!!

17/11/2024: In a week in cobh I tried the entire menu of Sorrento fish & chips, there is no comparison with the other fish & chips, totally on another level both for cleanliness and for quality... Very kind staff and always available to satisfy every request

29/09/2024: Tried spaghetti bolognese this evening. Beautifully cooked and with a deep rich flavour. 5 star food as always!

23/08/2024: Location was way to dirty on the ground - we felt uncomfortable. It was also very expensive. The toilet door could not be locked.

16/08/2024: Flavored coffee, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere. The design of the shop is amazing. I absolutely recommend it.

09/12/2024: On a bright but cold December day, this was the perfect lunch spot to enjoy the views and have some great food. We’ve had Piri-piri prawns in many places, these were the best ever for presentation. The prawns themselves were as good as we have had. Mediterranean salad was excellent. The fish could have been a bit thicker in the fish & chips, but was cooked well. Great location to enjoy stunning sea views.

30/11/2024: The location is absolutely fantastic and the staff are excellent. Maybe I'm spoiled in Westcork, but as soon as I saw the fish, I was disappointed. It was tiny and nowhere near value for money at €22. It tasted fine but it was gone in a flash. I eat fish and chips everywhere i go. Generally the fish is at least twice the size of what was presented to me. The two teaspoons of mushy peas were fine. The chips looked fantastic and were hand cut" real chips". However, they were terrible. I can't really explain, but suffice to say they seemed very dry and probably could have done with a longer blanching to crisp them up. The wedge of lemon was as small as it possibly could be.

07/07/2024: We were here for a charity music event. Bands were great quality. Atmosphere was brilliant. Staff very friendly. Only downside was no food on offer.

11/12/2024: My boyfriend and I got TERRIBLE. food poisoning after we ate here last night. I spent the night in the hospital and was out of commission all day today. We had the seafood chowder, salmon, and fish and chips. We think it was the chowder since that was the dish we shared.
