17/10/2025: Very friendly little cafe with beautiful and good food, especially not to be missed if you go to COBH, but above all what you should not miss eating at this place is the chocolate cake, frankly a killer, honestly I have never eaten such a delicious chocolate cake. Go there, trust me.
12/10/2025: Sea Salt is a charming little café in Cobh, offering a cozy atmosphere and a menu full of creative dishes. There are both sweet and savory vegan options, each beautifully presented and delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. A lovely place to relax by the sea — highly recommended!

21/10/2025: Popular, convenient local, and fun atmosphere. Belly up and get your pints at the bar, and if you're lucky, you find a seat or a place to stand.
It's a gathering place, we did find a table in the back room, tvs with football, and music playing. Worth a stop.
During day hours, there is outside seating too, with fabulous views.

25/11/2025: I stopped in for coffee and ended up staying for lunch because it was too good to leave. The cappuccino was smooth, the pastries from Grumpy Bakers were heavenly, and the garden seating area was peaceful. What impressed me most was the attention to detail—cutlery polished, tables spotless, music soft and pleasant. You can tell the team here really cares about their craft.
15/11/2025: This place completely exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly ground coffee and baked pastries filled the air. I ordered a flat white and a croissant, both perfect. The staff were genuinely friendly and chatted with everyone, creating such a relaxed, welcoming energy. The decor blends rustic stone with modern touches, and the natural light makes it feel cozy yet open. I could have stayed all afternoon.

We ordered 2 mains and 1 starter.
Recieved 1 main and 1 starter.
When i asked where our main was he laughed. The customer service here has been terrible the last 3 times we came.
Unfortunately we won't be going anymore.

20/10/2025: We were immediately warmly received by Steve, the barkeep with superb Irish coffees and friendly conversation after our overnight flight from the States. He, along with the other local gents at the bar, gave us a solid recommendations for local food and fare in Cobh and other towns along our way. Slightly apart from the crowds and bulk of the other waterfront pubs, Connie Doolan's offers a heartfelt welcome, smooth drinks, and authentic local atmosphere. I'll always cherish my first and best drink in Ireland at Connie Doolan's! And cheers to the Sunday-drinkin' gents at the bar and our laughs together!

The Wholey Ground

06/11/2025: My daughter and I went into this café at 2:55 pm for a coffee and a pastry. I paid €11, and when the coffees arrived, the waiter told us they close at 3:00 pm. I don't think it's right that they don't warn you that they close in 5 minutes.
17/10/2025: Best coffee in Cobh by far!!! Very friendly staff also.
