The best restaurants in Cobh

14/09/2025: Really good quality, flavorsome food, my mum and I aren't big on take-out, but love this place and go all the time! Homemade desserts are my mum's go to, good quality non processed ingredients. Lovely girls working there :)

24/08/2025: Had vegetarian crunch wrap and chicken quesadilla here, Both were absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended. Staff is also very sweet and polite.

04/01/2026: Visited twice this week. Excellent food, service, value, setting and general offering. So clean and fresh. Beautiful setting right on the sea.

19/12/2025: In 2019, I had a very sub par dining experience here on a Tuesday evening. Fish was oily and lack lustre with chips that tasted like they’d come to our plates from the freezer, via a warm room. Service was very poor at each stage of our visit; no drink service when seated, no wine list, had to get the servers attention after a noticeable amount of time just to order, after our fish and chips arrived it came without lemon and when my partner asked for some they were given a wedge with a dead fly on it, and when we were finished our meal we waited at least 20 minutes before walking to the servers station to pay. The final straw was after we had asked to pay and the bar staff who was handling the transaction decided to start conversing with a server and leave us waiting again. We thankfully saved another couple from a terrible dining experience as we were leaving and they asked how the food was. The owners have been so incensed by my review that I've had to edit it again to specify that this review was made years ago, regarding a visit in 2019 and to make sure I am talking explicitly about Quay's bar and restaurant in Cobh, county Cork
