18/08/2025: Fair portions, staff were nice and food was up to standar, only problem is there was no black pudding nor hasbrowns on the full irish, (idk if its supposed to be like that for I am not Irish) but nevertheless bathroom and atmosphere were amazing.
Small place but very cozy :)
18/08/2025: Lovely Cafe with amazing cakes and very good coffee. The staff is also super friendly.

08/07/2025: We visited the Roaring Donkey twice on 2 consecutive days, despite it being a bit of a hike up the hill to get there. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with chatty staff and patrons alike. We came away having learned quite a bit about Hurling. A great selection of drinks and I only wish that my local back home had more than one stout on offer. And the bonus for us .. it was downhill on the way back.

14/08/2025: This is the main restaurant I recommend to visitors in Cobh if they want a decent, filling dinner. I've a family member with a gluten and wheat intolerance and it's one of the few spots I can bring him where I know he will have plenty options and not just curry or a sandwich. They have a separate menu for food intolerances which is always a good sign that Coeliac Disease and other requirements are not just an afterthought.
10/08/2025: Where to start ,,,shown to our table for 4 it was filty the Mrs had wype's in her bag so cleaned it,next our drinks order was taken I had to send back the Guinness it was terrible then had to send back the replacement pint it was worse then the 1st,We ordered our food and this is not a joke our food was on the table for 5 minutes and We had to ask for forks and knives lol,the food was not great ,went to pay and they tried to charge me for the two returned Guinness, a terrible experience.

17/08/2025: Restaurant overlooking the harbor, the staff is friendly and the food is not bad. I give it 3 stars because the amount of food is small for the price of each dish and because they charge you €5 more per person for service. As far as I know, service is already included in the price of the dishes. We have not encountered this in any other restaurant or bar in Ireland.
16/08/2025: Pleasant staff, food was good, meal for two, starters, mains and wine €118,nice table with a lovely view, a few annoying flies around, not much you can do about that I suppose.
