27/03/2025: Not a bad place for a sit down. Small and cosy with a fake fire, it sells a good range of beers. Would be happier to see perhaps a low carb beer (which incidentally doesn't seem to exist in ireland), and if they are bothering with teas and coffees, throwing a green or herbal tea into the mix wouldn't cost them anything. By the way, as per most pubs in Cobh, no food. I guess most are just small bars.

21/02/2025: Had a great time the Guinness was great the bar staff were lovely . Didn’t eat but pub had a great atmosphere. The Guinness tasted particularly good here

30/03/2025: Two excellent breakfasts at Ellen’s this week. Really enjoyed French toast, pancakes and eggs. Staff were fantastic and facilities spotless!

22/04/2025: This place was an absolute life-saver today, when we were caught in the rain. The staff are very friendly, the place has got a great, cozy atmosphere and the food is just great!

04/05/2025: Perfect little coffee shop with the most tasty coffee and even better yet, the best scone I have ever had. My husband and I were ordering coffee “to take-away” and as we were waiting, I read a clever sign that said: “scones so fresh, they were still flour at 7:00 AM” ! Of course it piqued our interest, we ordered a scone (original) and sat down to enjoy it all. I have to say, the scone was the freshest I have ever tasted. It was perfectly baked, light and fluffy in the inside and the right amount of crispy baked bits on the outside. Let me not forget the clotted cream on the side. If you are ever in Cobh, do yourself a favour, make your way over to the Coffee Cove, order a coffee (or tea), a scone and enjoy a delectable moment surrounded by local and historical momentos.

27/04/2025: The raspberry scones, clotted cream, and cream cheese were so delicious. The price is reasonable too. This is a local restaurant where I was happy because the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely give it to you next time I go to Cove.

18/03/2025: The Rob Roy is So Much fun!! Great Bartenders, fun place and St. Patty's Day was a hell of a time! Plus it's in an absolutely gorgeous location, so you just can't lose! Also the owner is hilarious, such a fun person and knows wayy too much about the states by alphabet, just ask him 😁❣️😂! We'll miss this place and him!

05/05/2025: We said we'd try Connie Doolans to hear Buster the singer. The owner was most welcoming and chatty, so that made a difference from the pub the day before. We found a nook where 9 of us could be together and had a great night. All punters were friendly.

01/04/2025: After a day spent out in the bad and windy weather it was nice to sit there, had a beer and food. Nothing much to see in Cobh, although it was worth stopping there. Nice views from the hill.

28/03/2025: We had a delicious meal here ahead of going to the Titanic Experience. It wasn't very busy when we arrived but very quickly filled up. The service was fast & friendly & the food was excellent.

11/03/2025: Best vegan pizza I’ve ever had! I would 10000% recommend The Wholey Ground to everyone but especially vegans looking for a really good vegan pizza with really great ingredients. The lads were all so friendly and the service was excellent! Can’t fault it!

17/04/2025: Great flavours! We had Black Cherry Gelato, Oreo Gelato, Kinder Bueno milkshake and a Caramel milkshake and they just tasted amazing, weren't expecting the flavours to be as nice as they were and for a reasonable price too! Cheaper than the ice cream van and 100x better! Staff were pleasant and helpful and wished us a lovely day ☺️

04/04/2025: Our host Claire was exceptional, making our experience even better. The gluten-free options were fantastic, and we got to enjoy a flavorful mixed platter with some incredible cheeses. We paired it with a bottle of Rioja, which was perfect

29/03/2025: Oh, the morning chill mirrored the reception I received. A biting wind swept in, but the service offered an even deeper cold. The staff seemed lost in their own world, their voices a distant murmur that never reached my table. An order remained unspoken, a chance to taste the food forever lost in the indifference. Perhaps there was warmth and delight in the kitchen, but the frost of neglect kept it far from my reach.

28/03/2025: had the best vanilla iced coffee made by a very nice barista, I’m not sure of his name but he was just finishing his shift (: will definitely be back!
