Leonardo's Cafe Kimbo

Cobh
31/05/2025: Absolutely worth visiting. Good food. Fast served. Staff is super friendly. It's pity we have nothing to match this spot in Cork
30/05/2025: Their eggs royale is excellent. 😋😋

Kellys

Cobh
06/07/2025: Stopped into Kelly's Bar while visiting the small port town of Cobh, Ireland. Near the harbor, this Irish Pub was one of several highlights of our time there. We had the best Guinness we've ever had, and an Irish Whiskey we found difficult to duplicate during the rest of our visit to Ireland. If you have a chance, stop in. We found a warm welcome, good service, and great drinks!
24/06/2025: Wooden ambiance decorated with boat and navigation elements, with plenty of beers and a well-pulled draft beer. A good place to chat and relax.

Cannot overstate how incredible this place is - brilliant food, really friendly and quick service, excellent music& atmosphere on a grey drizzly morning.

Roaring Donkey

Cobh
04/05/2025: We went once it opened as needed to get out of the rain so it was quiet but lovely to sit and chat with the lady working behind the bar and then a couple of customers. Can imagine whje there’s plenty people there and music on that it would be a brilliant atmosphere. Not as expensive as some places we drank
02/05/2025: The best pint of Murphy’s I’ve ever had. In fact the best pint of stout I’ve ever had. A brilliant boozer

Connie Doolans

Cobh
24/05/2025: If you are in Cobh (pronounced COVE) and you do not stop in for a pint, you have missed a genuine opportunity. Think of the American TV show Cheers and multiply that by 100 and add the Irish good nature and you are getting close to the feeling you get when you sit at the bar. Start a conversation and soon you will thinking (or wishing) you’re a local. You will learn the pub dates back 200+ years, its connection to the titanic and Cobh’s connection to WW I
05/05/2025: We said we'd try Connie Doolans to hear Buster the singer. The owner was most welcoming and chatty, so that made a difference from the pub the day before. We found a nook where 9 of us could be together and had a great night. All punters were friendly.

Scoops Gelato

Cobh
12/06/2025: One of the best ice cream I ever had 🤤
01/06/2025: Best ice cream I have ever had in Ireland. Pistachio is out of this planet. The texture is like an Italian dream, creamy softness with deep taste will make you want more and more. A true gelato experience in such a beautiful spot. Will definitely come back.

The Arch - Cafe & Wine Bar

Cobh
14/06/2025: a love story to the arch. the very first food I had in Ireland. stopped in to tie me over til dinner and had a cheese plate that was so complete and charming from a compositional perspective. I still dream of it. I followed that with 2 morning visits for cortado and pastry. utter wizardry on both fronts. pastries so charming/complex/whimsical. lovely staff - the young lady from Virginia oxygenates the room. the only downside was I assumed this was to be the case throughout Ireland. I curse the truth. I work in the elevated food business and I want the entire crew at the arch to know - you are seen
09/06/2025: Loved our experience here!!! Great ambience and good wine- priced fairly and cute and professional staff..highly recommended

The Restaurant at Cobh Heritage

Cobh
21/04/2025: Menu is simple but sometimes the simplest of experiences are the best. Wow, was it tasty and fresh. You simply have to have a hot ham and cheese croissant with relish and the warm ham and cheese scones ( yes scones) with relish as well. Desert wise the warm apple pie with ice cream, the moist carrot cake and the apple and cinnamon crumble were just delicious. Prices were reasonable and what a great environment, nestled in the Cobh heritage centre, near Cobh train station. Special thank you Donna and Ashley for looking after us.

The Quays

Cobh
15/06/2025: In an exceptional location, the very friendly staff seated us at a table with magnificent views and served us very quickly in a quiet environment. But the food was very poor. The chicken curry only tasted of tomato, with the accompanying rice being quite overcooked. The chickpea salad was the best, but the chickpeas were almost nonexistent, slightly chewy, and almost all there was on the plate was lettuce.
12/06/2025: We were looking forward to Fish and Chips, but the meal was a complete failure. The entire dish—fish, batter, and chips—was shockingly bland and had absolutely zero flavor. It was like eating cardboard. One of the most disappointing meals we've ever paid for.
