Pizza Max and Woking Chinese
Dublin
21/08/2024: Quality of the food was terrible. We paid for half an aromatic duck and it was less than a quarter portion we have got elsewhere. The vegetables with it were uneaten because they were wilted and turned. Chips were soggy and sweet and sour chicken was cold. I will never eat here again. Terrible!
18/08/2024: Service was good. Woman behind the counter was very friendly and straightforward.
Ordered the chicken wings with sweet and sour sauce and beef chow mein. Chicken wings themselves were FINE, just fine. The sauce had the taste and consistency of a spaghetti sauce and was absolutely gross.
Beef Chow Mein had the most thin, bland tasting noodles I think I have ever had from an Asian food takeaway. The toppings had no flavor, and the beef itself tasted borderline like rubber. Like, I could hear the meat squeek against my teeth as I was chewing like it was rubber. The toppings are literally only on the top and the noodles fill the rest of the dish with absolutely no flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone, to be honest.

Zambrero
Dublin
24/08/2025: Quite stingy portions, but the food is lovely quality. The staff are usually friendly and the service is fast enough if the queues aren’t too big.

Mamo's Greenhouse
Dublin
07/10/2023: The barista was so friendly and competent. Coffee was delish and bakes were even better. Cute outdoor seating with the bonus of a dog wandering around. The perfect place for a pick me up.
25/08/2023: Cute little coffee spot with good quality coffee

Cheese on Toast
Dublin
12/05/2025: This coffee shop is all function, no flavour—at least when it comes to atmosphere. The interior feels like a stripped-down fast food chain: sterile lighting, plastic finishes, and absolutely no warmth or personality. It’s surprising for a location like Dundrum, where you’d expect more thought, more style, more anything.
The food? Let’s say it won’t stir your senses. Pre-made, reheated sandwiches sit behind the counter, each one a clone of the next—dense, doughy bread packed with hearty but uninspired fillings. My sandwich was substantial enough to keep hunger at bay, but it lacked the flavour, texture or freshness that would make it memorable. A glass of wine or soft drink is on offer too, but it feels oddly out of place in such a rushed, cafeteria-like setting.
This spot works fine as a pit stop if you’re killing time before a movie. But with the prices on the higher end and the experience so forgettable, it’s hard to justify a return visit. The lack of English-speaking staff made the ordering process more difficult than it needed to be, adding to the sense that this place isn’t really trying.
All in all: filling, but not fulfilling.

Subway
Dublin
02/09/2024: Absolutely the worst Subway I have been to and that's saying something. Never have the ingredients to complete a sandwich not even basic salad ??

Broderick's
Dublin
06/05/2026: I’m genuinely obsessed! I discovered Broderick’s Brothers Salted Caramel Crispy Bites at my local Costco about a month and a half ago, and I’ve already purchased seven bags. I’ve made my family try them, introduced them to friends, and even brought them into work so my coworkers could experience them too! Every person who tries them is instantly hooked.
They’re honestly hard to describe, other than heaven in a bite! They have the perfect balance of chocolate, caramel, and crisp that makes them impossible to keep to yourself. Once you try them, you immediately want to share and talk about them with everyone you know!
I would absolutely love the opportunity to try more of their products. Whether that means one day making the trip to Ireland to experience them firsthand, or (hopefully!) seeing more of their products become available in the United States. I’ll be first in line!
They’ve created something absolutely incredible, and I can’t wait to taste more!

Sakura Japanese & Thai Cuisine
Dublin
27/12/2024: I had a delicious tofu and veg ramen here 2 months ago I told lots of people how good the food was so decided to get a take away for the whole family as a Christmas treat this evening. Unfortunately instead of the delicious ramen I got a bowl of boiled speghetti, bean sprouts and sauce. The spaghetti ended up in the bin. Himself had the chow mein which had no sauce. Such a shame, won't be going back. The free chicken wings were lovely though
14/12/2024: FOOD WAS DELICIOUS . I WILL COME BACK AGAIN.
