14/02/2024: Ordered a cake for Valentines Day and asked for a design change and Zuko's delivered an amazing and tasty product! 10/10 will be ordering from them again!

13/02/2024: I can't recommend Zuko's at all. We received an indication from the place where we're having our micro-wedding party and decided to go with them. Everything was fine up until we had the tasting experience. We got four cupcakes and we were very disappointed with the flavours, as all we could taste was the buttercream and the sugar. The base was dry and the buttercream was so sweet I couldn't finish one single cupcake (despite drinking water in between bites to help washing it down!). It was not what we were expecting for a wedding cake at all, so we gave our honest feedback and asked for our deposit to be returned (around 250 euros, minus the cost of producing the tasting box of course), since we wouldn't want to go ahead with them anymore. As it turns out, the deposit is non-refundable. They claim it's because they save the date exclusively for us, but we're cancelling it more than 3 months ahead. In order for this to be a fair deal, I think Zuko's should refrain from taking any orders for the day we already paid for (whether we get our cake or not). Honestly, this doesn't make sense to me at all, and I don't believe they are going to struggle to find another customer to fill in that slot (as I said, it's 3 months ahead, and our cake was as simple as can be, only one tier and no decoration, for only 25ppl). After we asked nicely for our deposit to be returned (twice), they simply stopped replying. And they are keeping our money. So, a word of advice for the brides-to-be out there. Never, I said NEVER pay for a cake deposit without tasting the cake first. You might end up with a very bitter experience in the end.

24/06/2024: I liked it overall, though if you have a day pass you're restricted to a small area by the window which is kinda cramped for space, and you're not allowed elsewhere in the building. I'd say 38 Euro is a bit steep overall for what you get. Coffee options good though.

05/08/2024: The food was very tasty-5/5 ratings. Excellent customer service. Quick delivery and great customer servive by delivery driver as well. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for great food at a reasonable price.

26/06/2024: *** Chang’s restaurant… Avoid avoid avoid *** Myself and my mam wanted to get a Chinese for our girly night and treat ourselves. We decided to get Chang’s in Lucan village. My mam called for collection. When she called a lady answered and said there was seemingly a number of complaints and that she was black listed and hung up the phone without allowing my mam to speak back. SO RUDE. So mam called Chang’s back and a young man answered the phone and said to stop calling and again.. hung up. (We haven’t got Chang’s in well over a year) So myself and my mam went down to the restaurant to see what the problem was and to speak with a manager as this was all quite a shock to both of us. The young man (whose name I have but won’t share) standing behind the counter in a pair of Nike shorts and a T-shirt - no uniform (totally unsanitary) greeted us. After asking for a manager his reply was “em name?????” We said who were were he told us to get out that we weren’t going to be served. He was so so so rude and refused to get anybody else to speak to us. The lady who answered the phone the first time came over and said that the ‘owner’ said not to serve us.. I asked for proof of the said complaints on the system as we hadn’t order in a very long time. No manager there and they refused to give us an email or any sort of contact for their manager and we were told to go across the road to another Chinese. No customer service skills whatsoever between them. How they spoke was an absolute disgrace and disrespectful. We were treated horribly and with no backup of their accusations. I have heard so many people say the rudeness of the staff in there is awful.. but now Iv experienced it myself. I hope nobody else has to deal with customer service like this. Just avoid it to save yourself the hassle. Disgusting behaviour.
