The best restaurants in Dublin

19/11/2024: A charming cafe with a delicious lunch menu and a homey quiet atmosphere. Best cafe I've been to for a while.

26/09/2024: Nice. A tad expensive for a breakfast. No fans (or weren't on) could smell tye fryers off me for the afternoon.

21/12/2024: A really nice pub just off Camden Street. They had a good beer selection with a few local beers and decent prices for the location. I'll be back there for sure!

27/10/2024: I used to enjoy Crafty Fox as they have their 5 euro Guinness plus really good playlist. But I was there last night and the only bartender working and taking orders was the bearded guy, as the other 4 girls behind the bar seemed to be VERY unexperienced and don't really have the initiative to check on people who are waiting to be served at the bar. They were also loudly chatting in a corner as one taller woman with a radio attached to her barged in screaming and shouting that she was "pissed off" at someone from Opium and so distracting the other girls who were meant to be serving. Really awkard situation as I was always taught to keep my game face on and be professional while working. Fairplay to the bearded fella tho as he just kept on going without a face on him or complaining. Maybe if the service gets a bit better I will come back as the place itself is nice.

10/12/2024: I’ve been eating chicken tenders since I was a young fella, the buttermilk chicken tenders out of this spot are 10/10 the mrs didn’t even get to try them I had them gone in a heartbeat

31/12/2024: We had breakfast there, the food was not bad, the pancakes were really tasty, but they were cold when we got them. The mini Irish breakfast was good, but the toast was burnt.. The table, crumbles were all over it. Capuchino was to perfection! Maybe it wasn't a good morning for the staff, it wasn't easy to get their attention when we wanted to pay at the end. We liked the character of the place.

08/09/2024: 10/10, absolutely lovely staff very friendly, got an iced matcha that was one of the best I’ve ever had and a falafel wrap that was also super tasty 🤤 Also got a delicious piece of carrot cake that was so fresh! Could not recommend this place enough, will definitely be coming back!!

08/09/2024: Thyme Out… You need a timeout. The matcha here tasted like goat’s milk - no flavour and clearly no matcha powder in it. The chicken pesto wrap was absolutely drenched in oil, lacking flavour in every sense but the soggy tomatoes really took the cake. Seriously unimpressed & my stomach feels even worse than a hangover. Won’t be returning ever.

29/10/2024: During our stay in a hotel across from Oxmantown Smithfield, it quickly became a habit to stop here for a coffee in the morning. Coffee and matcha are of good quality. Shout-out to the excellent hazelnut brownies!

16/10/2024: The best coffee in the area, friendly staff, swift and exceptional service. A great way to start a day every day! Love the vibe of the place, truly a local gem.

28/11/2024: Food was excellent food was really good 👌 home made chips and fresh fish was lovely but it's very very expensive €32 for 2 x fish &chips and 2 x cans of coke (this is for a take away 😲)

22/12/2024: A lovely little cafe/bakery in Harolds Cross. They do fantastic chicken pesto focaccia sandwich, and the pistachio croissant is fantastic. Coffee is superb too. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! Also work friendly for digital nomads.

08/12/2024: Fantastic sourhdough bread, greats pastries (loved morning bun!) and baguettes. Very warm welcome & chat. 😊 small place a little bit outside of George's Street. My big regret I discovered it only now. But better late than ever. Highly recommended!

07/12/2024: I was not impressed! I came after being drawn in by their Instagram page, but the coffee was nothing special. The pastries were the main reason for my visit from Dublin, but I ended up getting a cinnamon roll that was the worst I’ve ever tried. It was dry and not filling at all. I definitely won't be coming back.

01/12/2024: We popped on for dinner, food was lovely, especially the beef and Guinness stew. Great service, lovely staff and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Then the band came on "Ex Reflex 80s band. What a performance. We ended up staying the entire night. Lead singer is amazing, really got the crowd engaged. We'll definitely be back.

08/12/2024: Was a having a great weekend until the barman started being super aggressive for no reason… unfortunate but sometimes you get these experiences would avoid… plenty of well manured staff in other places! Dublins generally very friendly took my business elsewhere…

28/11/2024: One of the best sandwich spots of Dublin (or perhaps Ireland). Good coffee too. There's no seating so ideal for office lunch or eating in the park.
