The best restaurants in Dublin

15/07/2025: We went to Buskers on the Ball to watch the Wimbledon final between Sinner and Alcaraz. After a bit of confusion trying to find the actual pub (which was in a basement and as soon as we entered, but that was just our oversight), we found ourselves in a proper sports pub with dozens of TVs showing sports of all kinds. The bartenders didn't immediately understand our needs (maybe I assumed Wimbledon = tennis), but they told us to pick any TV and they'd show the match right there. As for food, there's a wide selection, less so for beer. Except for Guinness, of the other four available, three had already sold out by 3:30 PM, leaving very little choice. Furthermore (though I don't know if this is a local custom or not), payment was required for each round of beer/food, rather than a single bill at the end of the evening (not a positive or negative point, just worth noting). Prices are slightly higher than average, especially considering the pub's central location—we are in the Temple Bar area, after all. There are, however, ping pong, foosball, billiards, and other arcade games available throughout the venue. It's definitely a great place to hang out if you're looking to watch any sporting event.

12/07/2025: I was waiting one hour for the fish&chips and still didn’t get it. They gave me a refund at the end which is fine, but they should work on the communication, since 10 minutes evolved into 60 minutes without the food on my table… Cool place to watch sport and hang out with friends though

10/07/2025: The pies and pastries look lovely in the fridge until the staff stick them in the microwave and destroy the pastry. Guys invest in a toaster oven!

03/07/2025: What a delicious lunch we had here! Although there are only two tables outside and you can mainly take away inside, we were happy that we could taste their delicious pies, absolutely recommended!

05/07/2025: I’m obsessed with the food here—seriously, it’s that good! 😍 Every time I order, it hits the spot. My absolute favourite is mixed seafood in oyster sauce with those big, juicy prawns, mussels, squid rings, and the chunky, firm veg—such a perfect combo! Everything’s always cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. Service is always quick too, . Just top-tier all round. Can’t recommend them enough!

04/08/2025: I don’t understand they don’t take money via card. They only get paid via cash is this only to me or everyone. All other time I have paid cash this time they denied take pay via card. How they are doing business on city centre but only take cash it look doesn’t fair to me

30/07/2025: Stopped here for a carvery. Lovely food. Hard to accept its nearly 20 quid for a carvery but cant fault the food and service.

27/06/2025: It was absolutely 5 stars experience. It was very enjoyable and fun! Carl was professional but also kept the atmostphere fantastic throughout the whole experience! Couldnt be better! Highly recommended!

21/06/2025: Went in for a new kayak paddle, Carl was extremely helpful. Excellent service and product knowledge and range.

30/06/2025: Placed orders for 2 chicken,lettuce,tomatoe coleslaw wraps €6 each to get where is was going and no chicken on wraps called to explain was promise a phone call bk and im still waiting that was fri now mon.

15/05/2025: Amazing coffee, Incredible toasties and great vibes. All the staff are so sound. My favourite place to grab a coffee before work or on the weekend.

The food is great, the service is very friendly, patient and kind, even to German foreigners like us who might have butchered the pronunciation of every item on the menu. 01/08/2025: Hey, I am a regular customer at Indian Tiffins. I love the vibe , the food and most importantly the service. Alvira, Bharat are extremely nice and makes us feel comfortable. Rico is a great bartender and he makes some great cocktails. He blends them according to our taste and makes sure we leave the table happy. Cheers to the team!

29/07/2025: Worst service & worst restaurant experience so far. Beware of such deceiving restaurants. Totally not recommended. Below is the experience. I ordered from Deliveroo and called the restaurant requesting to make it dairy free (which they did in the past for same dish). The person said they didn't receive the order but I clearly see restaurant accepted notification in the app couple of mins ago. Further, the person said the dish is not available since last 4 days. And also the dish cannot be made dairy free (which they did in the past). Furthermore, the person was not ready to listen to me, he said, because their restaurant is busy. I complained this to the Deliveroo customer service, they called the restaurant & restaurant informed them, "right after the customer finished the call, they received the order, and the order is in progress." 🤦🏻‍♂️

27/07/2025: 20 minutes waiting for bill to come then 15 waiting to actually pay. No one came down in the whole time we were there except to bring food, I’d completely understand the delay if it was busy but it wasn’t busy

28/06/2025: I loved how crispy the patty of their vegetarian burgers are and their hot sauce is phenomenal! It’s hard to great a great burger as a vegetarian but I always enjoy Wow Burger.
