07/09/2025: We ordered catering from the Gourmet Food Parlour in Santry this month for our son’s christening and could not be happier with the service and the food. Right from the beginning Ciara and Linda in the office were so helpful in giving guidance on numbers we would need to feed our party of 45-50. Once ordered, payment the week of the event was easily and professionally done through a payment link. On the day itself, the food was set up by one of team members who was extremely professional and courteous. The cold food arrived on lovely heavy silver platters while the hot food was kept warm with bains maries. The food itself was exceptional from the sandwiches to the mini desserts. All our guests were impressed with the spread, with most asking to bring something home, meaning we’d little to no waste. I would not hesitate to recommend Gourmet Food Parlour for catering to anyone. We were so delighted with everything and I look forward to the next big family occasion so we can order from them again.

07/10/2025: Very nice cozy atmosphere and the chef is great. Food came out quickly. Some of the younger waiters are rude with no manners. If staying in the hotel this place is still a great place.

26/09/2025: We celebrated our engagement with the three course meal at Mapas, and it was wonderful! Every course was delicious, filling with beautiful presentation. The staff was hospitable and accommodating, I highly recommend dining here and getting the 3 course meal.

17/08/2025: Staff were friendly and helpful. A good selection of dishes to choose from. A coffee and cake or hot food. The decor is nice. It also operates as a shop selling pasta, sauces, bread, sweets etc. I would recommend a visit. Note: there is a carpark just opposite the cafe.

12/10/2025: The last time I was there was 8 years ago, and I was there again yesterday, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The fish was unseasoned and tasted very bland. The fillet was of high quality, boneless, but the thicker part was still very translucent. (If you like that, I'll be happy with that.) The fries were delicious, but also unsalted. Salt and vinegar from the table saved them. A small bottled beer was €7.50! Service was quick.

01/05/2025: By far the best Chinese in the area. Their curry sauce is delicious. The chips are nothing spectacular but the same as every other Chinese. The prawn toast is very nice and the mini spring rolls are so tasty. Phone staff are always polite and efficient and the food always arrives fresh and hot and delivery driver always very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for tasty, fresh Chinese food.
