Excellent service skills 👏 the food was delicious freshly made and there scones were WOW delicious. 💯 lovely atmosphere in there, we will definitely call in again soon. 06/07/2026: Fair play to everyone at The Village Inn. The new menu is a massive step up. The food is absolutely gorgeous and looks as good as it tastes. Great pints, lovely atmosphere, and the staff are sound. If you haven't tried the new menu yet, you're missing out. We'll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went with my daughter for her first visit to an Ivy which she was so excited about but turned out to be the most embarrassing and awful experience due to extremely poor customer service. I have since written a formal complaint with absolutely no acknowledgement or response from customer relations. I would not recommend this restaurant and would go so far as to now not recommending any Ivy as if you have a genuine reason to complain you are not only publicly humiliated they choose to totally ignore which is totally shocking for a high end chain

01/06/2026: The Ivy is usually a good bet for consistency, but the Dublin branch was disappointing. Service was slow and although my meal was good, my husband’s was very poor. Even the choices of dessert was limited and the Tiramisu was mediocre .

04/07/2026: Busy petrol station. They are happy to fill your tank if needed otherwise self serviced, friendly staff and great shop for those last minute essentials.

10/06/2026: I absolutely loved this place, the most unique I've ever visited in Dublin! I walked past it several times during my last stay, almost not noticing, but it was a real surprise. Dinner required a reservation at least a day in advance through the website (I'd tried to get in the night before, but it wasn't possible without a reservation), but it was totally worth it. We ordered a fillet steak and half a roast chicken, all accompanied by sides and fries, and everything was delicious! The place also has a unique atmosphere and several truly unique rooms and corners, making dinner here an experience in every way. This will definitely be a restaurant I'll return to!

25/01/2026: Permanently closed but website and sign still lit up. Has been absorbed by the Celt, none of their decor or menu items survived.

11/07/2026: Best Irish breakfast in Dublin if not Ireland it's a challenge!! And not mental money like most other Dublin pretenders. 16 euros see If u can finish it . Highly recommend

10/07/2026: The restaurant looks really nice from the outside, but that was unfortunately the only positive thing. We had to get the menu ourselves at the door. Even after 15 minutes of waiting at the table, no one noticed us. When three waiters finally appeared, they all pretended not to see us. In the end, we got up and went somewhere else. Very disappointed with the attitude.

06/06/2026: Surprisingly great lunch / brunch! Loved the eggs Royale and the Shakshuka. Coffee was nice, hot chocolate not so much but like in most places. Staff was really nice, peace was empty ish as we went for lunch on a rainy Saturday, but really good discovery!

17/07/2026: We were staying at the Hyatt Centric and though we didn’t have breakfast included in our room rate we ended up paying (a very reasonable price) to eat breakfast here every day because we enjoyed it so much. The food is fantastic but the service is unbelievable. Lisa and her team are all incredibly friendly and attentive and go above and beyond for everyone (they remembered my order after being gone for a week on roadtrip around Ireland). We already miss our friends here!

15/07/2026: My all time favourites are the fresh berries muffins, the lasagna and the chicken sandwiches (there is more than one option and they all are great). The service is quick, polite and they have great taste in music!

24/06/2026: Went after a recommendation from someone else, it's a quiet and small place but perfect if you want to go alone or with a friend. Very peaceful and pleasant atmosphere and the staff were kind and offered recommendations on what to get when I was thinking. Would definitely recommend to go if you want to get a sweet treat and a little peace and quiet.

04/07/2026: We had shashuka, egg avocado and summer french toast.. food was good but I suggest they reduce the amount of tomato sauce in the shakshuka and reduce the spiciness in it

07/06/2026: If you visit Dublin, head over to Fig!! The most friendliest place for brunch, great menu choice, delicious dishes and the most kindhearted people to boot! Big shout out to Sophie who looked after us so well. A truly wonderful place, Blackrock are lucky to have this place on their doorstep!
