The best restaurants in Dublin

25/05/2025: It was surprisingly nice! We went at random google search. But the Food was so good! It’s an Italian cafe, they bake fresh ciabatta and it’s so nice! We tried Spicy Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, Lemon Cake & Apple Pie and everything was just gorgeous! And all fresh ingredients… Definitely recommend!

13/05/2025: Fix your Google Maps Opening Hours. Second time we came and it's closed. Writing this on Tuesday @16:42 in front of the store.

05/06/2025: This was my first time ordering take away from this restaurant just on Monday and it will be the last. Ordered chicken chow mein and chips,chips must of been lying there for days just reheated them,disgusting. Chow mein had no flavour. Worst chinse take out iv had in a lomg time ,should of stuck to my own chinse at least I know what I'm getting.How are people giving good reviews, it's horrible.

03/06/2025: Tried a few dishes from here. Ordered via Justeat. Very quick delivery. After ordering I called them and spoke to a lady who answered. I told her I was from the UK and in Dublin for 3 days. I told her I wanted to eat a good spice bag. She said she would send me a big bag of spice bags. Such a wonderful person!! Honestly I think the best spice bag I have tried in Dublin! Thanks to her it was a MASSIVE PORTION of two big bags of spicebag! 🤤 It was plenty for 4-5 people easily. We were all full from just the spicebags! 😆 Will be ordering again before flying back !

05/04/2025: Absolut favourite is this oriental kitchen takeaway. A bit far away from the center or even from Finglas village. But its a good spot in Finglas. Wonderful tasty chinese thai foods, love the roasted duck. 🍜🍚😋Highly recommend!

15/05/2025: Amazing coffee, Incredible toasties and great vibes. All the staff are so sound. My favourite place to grab a coffee before work or on the weekend.

21/05/2025: Staff seem lovely and service very good. Mixed views on food. The bbq meats are good, but expensive for portion size and not a great sign to be given a steak knife, which is needed, for slow cooked ribs (they were pretty tough). If ribs you want, then better value and proper slow cooked tender at Yoi Izakaya.

04/05/2025: Very good all round. Food is of great standard and choice. Authentic Chinese feel and building while a little dated provides for a great environment. Price is reasonable and more in line with outside of Dublin pricing. Parking is plenty and staff great too. Keep it up

19/04/2025: Got curry chips takeaway this evening. Look at the first photo - that’s what I was served. Disgusting to serve that to anyone. Looked like it had been sitting around all day. Soggy old looking chips in a thick sauce. Threw it straight in the bin. Second photo - headed to Chinatown. Fresh chips, thin sauce. As it should be. It’s really not that difficult. Will never buy anything in Annadales again. Note : Spice bags here are also inedible - covered thickly in spice.

08/04/2025: I only came in here on spec for the first time this month whilst on a holiday home to Ireland from Australia. Had a quick drink at the lovely 108 in Rathgar for old time’s sake, then just popped in here for a quick bite afterwards. I was just going to get a takeaway but when I saw the nice set up of their little place with couches and everything, I decided to sit down and eat there instead. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of Singapore Noodles with Chicken and Vegetarian Spring Rolls. Nearly licked the bowl clean! And the lady I ordered from was so lovely and friendly. So, about a week later, I popped in and did the same thing again. This time I had the Chicken Pad Thai which was equally yummy. As with all places like this, they, more often than not, get judged on their takeaway and delivery food which is impossible to serve at the same standard as sit down service. Though I’ve no doubt this place does better than most in that regard. But, as always, the best way to enjoy food is piping hot, served to your table and, in this regard, I can’t fault them at all!! Just yum!

07/03/2025: Attended Halloween night advertised online as Nightmare on Harcourt Street with €500 prize to be won for the best costume on the 30th. I purchased 6 tickets. I'm scoring 2stars because the music and atmosphere was good, but when asked the manager, dj and few other staff how and when they going to announce the winner of the prize they knew nothing of it haha zero starts for false advertising guys not cool!

18/05/2025: Great Mexican Food and Really well priced. The setting is great in Humphreys and the table service is excellent. I love coming back here.

20/04/2025: I had Tasty tacos this week 100% Mexican style , and my partner had a gorgeous burger both delicious ! Highly recommend 👌.

14/06/2025: The bartender was rude, cold, and clearly hated being there—and it showed. No greeting, no manners, just straight-up attitude like serving people was beneath her. If you despise dealing with the public, maybe don’t work in a bar. This place has zero vibe, zero hospitality, and zero reason to return. One of the worst service experiences I’ve had anywhere.

05/06/2025: I visited here last Saturday to be refused entry from the bouncer because there was a ‘private party’, I mean.. the whole place was booked out for a private party? Go on with yourself 😅 I must not look like a stereotypical lesbian (this appears to be a recurring theme judging from the other reviews!). I won’t come here again. Anyway, I was here before and it’s only ok.

08/06/2025: Went for the first time, drink was completely flat food was decent but over priced for the portion size. Not fault to the owners but 8 free booths and a three grown adults and one screaming child decided to come right down the back and sit directly across from us which completely ruined the experience. I get it’s open to everyone but if there’s plenty of free booths and the lane is tight enough rather than having a group of loud people within a meter when your trying to eat, please if you have a screaming child allow others to have space and enjoy their meal !
