The best restaurants in Dublin

20/12/2025: Online it says they open at 7:30am on Saturday yet when I went at 7:35 I was told they do not open until 8am.

29/09/2025: As a regular visitor to Butlers in Ballsbridge I’m writing this review as a very disappointed customer. I order extra hot, hot chocolate. Nearly every time I receive it ,it’s lukewarm. Not even hot. It’s either far too milky or too much lumps of chocolate. The staff need more training and the outdoor seating area is often very dirty .

11/12/2025: Coffee is not great two mornings in a row I have ordered a flat white and got a burnt cup of milk

28/10/2025: Great coffee stop with safe parking for bicycles, sitting indoor and outdoor, amazing selection of cakes and other sweets, great coffee. Very friendly and efficient staff👍

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

07/01/2026: It was a celebration for family and friends, The staff were excellent,the party food was fresh and it just kept on coming.The beer was first class and no hanging around.All in all they really did our family proud.Many thanks

24/03/2026: It's a nice little cafe been going there for years, nice breakfast at the weekend, other dishes are ok like the curries. Half n half re staff, some are lovely & others seem like they don't want to be there. Common thread I've noticed everytime we dine, we've to ask for a jug of water and salt/sauces/napkins whatever. It's a bit frustrating. An empty table, they arrive with the food with basic essentials. Has happened numerous times. The desserts are cheap quality. The brownie was just bland and cold. Ice cream on side was cheap also not very tasty. We've tried almost everything here since it opened yrs ago and the best for me so far has been the breakfast. There are much nicer places around but it's an ok place. It's ok overall. Update: I went back for refund on ice cream as i was charged for extra which I didn't have. As usual, the man was very kind & friendly, i think his name is Lucas perhaps Brazilian I'm not too sure. Nice guy. I was refunded for the extra charge on ice cream. Myself n family go here regularly as I said for yrs, only problems are bad service from certain staff. However it is still a nice local bright place:)

01/03/2026: Unbelievable Thai food with attention to detail staff with a very friendly atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you want a top 3 breakfast in Dublin you need to try this at the weekend and for a great price for what you get. Quantity&Quality 👌🏼sausages,bacon,pudding,beans,mushrooms 10/10.
