The best restaurants in Dublin

28/09/2024: Just about average but the Chicken royal type burger is ok..Chips are frozen chips and are way overpriced,Seasoning option is probably a must on them but that too is overpriced.The batter sausage is a definite non runner.They don’t change the oil often enough and you can smell it walking past when it hasn’t been changed in a number of days.Service is ok but you would wonder how they cook in the dark at the back of the shop.2.5 out of 5.

17/12/2024: Absolute gem of a place. We live in the neighborhood and are so grateful to have SC Grocer as part of this community. The owner and staff are the most down to earth and friendly people you could hope to meet. The food, deli and coffee are top quality and they have options for deli and pastry you won't find in many places around Dublin. The gift shop in the back features local artisan crafts and the seating area is rustic and lovely. Can't rate this place highly enough!

24/10/2024: Lovely service but really awful Korean beef sandwich. Way over salted, to the point I couldn’t eat it. Had one wafer thin slice of beef. Maybe 5g of meat total in the whole Sandwich. For 8.50 this was really disappointing.

18/12/2024: Greeted at the door showen to a table We all got a menu Our drinks order was taken When our drinks arrived our lunch order was taken all do there were 3 different meals order all 3 were delivered at the same time Staff check with us from time to time to see if everything was OK when we order dessert all 3 were delivered together Food was great fresh and delicious will be visiting The Goat again

29/07/2024: Had a Philly steak sandwich here today. The staff were so friendly, and the sandwich was yum! I replaced the taco sauce with garlic mayo and it was so good. The bun was soft and the veggies were crunchy. Will be going back if I’m ever passing again!

05/01/2025: Visited on one of the coldest days of the year to sit in for a nice coffee. The front door was chained open and the place was freezing for customers and staff. Everybody sat around shivering in their big coats while drinking their perfectly nice coffees!

07/12/2024: one of those who serve evil Polite... I shouldn't be there, the food is good but the service is bad, BAD... I think Mauricio, with a beard... the cap is different from the other two... I won't go back there...

04/12/2024: Be careful! Don't trust the ordering. Report from someone with allergies: I was at Tula for my dinner. I usually ask if the items have chili peppers or not. I am allergic to chili peppers and since this type of allergy is not common, I always check item by item. I asked as usual and sometimes asked two or three times to be sure. The employee assembled my burrito, aware of all my questions. In the end, I paid and the price was higher than normal. They told me it was for the extra guacamole, which I was not told during the assembly that it was an extra. It all came to €14.15 with the drink and my student discount. I sat down at the table around 6:50 pm. With the first bite, I could taste the chili peppers and the effects. I didn't insist and went directly to the person who assembled the food and told him about the problem. I told him that there was something spicy. He didn't want to understand and just kept saying that the items weren't spicy, even though I had taken a bite and felt the chili peppers and even asked him to try it. All my attempts to show him that something was wrong were frustrated. A big mistake: someone can get sick or even worse when we are talking about food. Understanding that the conversation was in vain and that no suggestions on how to solve the problem were being given: I returned all the food and my drink and left there without receiving anything. Absurd.

15/12/2024: Vanilla Pod is a really nice place to have great food along with great coffee too! Their Gingerbread latte with cream and cinnamon is a must try! We also tried avocado toast on sourdough,falafel burger and Korean chicken burger which were delicious alomg with decent portions.The desserts are worth giving a try too especially the carrot cake.The staff is super friendly too and it's great to see a dedicated pet friendly corner as well to enjoy food with your pets!

08/12/2024: Stay clear. Fish batter was over cooked. Had to cut it off to get to the fish, of which there was very very little. Staff awful, more interested in talking to each other. Had to stand up and go to them twice as a result of us being neglected by staff. Will not be back. Awful.

23/12/2024: Legit (and super tasty) Chinese food. Spicy beef noodle soup was PACKED with sichaun peppers and dried chilli. Delicious. Pork and cabbage dumplings pot sticker style were good too.

16/11/2024: Lovely localy bakery, very attentive staff and baked goods are so tasty especially the cruffins and apple danish. Sourdough bread was lovely as well☺️
