The best restaurants in Dublin

08/09/2025: Previously a five star for me... Prices have increased and quality and quantity decreased. Paid 11.20 euros for a salad with added chicken, where chicken was previously in the recipe. The salad bowl was not full, so definitely not great value for money.

25/12/2025: Staff were really poor, seemingly more interested in chatting to each other than taking notice of customers. I was even charged for someone else's round in error. Service was painfully slow

30/12/2025: I tried the crispy chilli wings, zinger burger meal with fries and a drink, the onion bhaji, and the mango lassi, and everything was so good. The wings were crispy and full of flavour, the zinger burger was really tasty and filling, and the fries were perfect. The onion bhaji was amazing, and the mango lassi was so refreshing. Definitely worth trying!!!

30/12/2025: Bombay Pantry in Rathfarnham is amazing! The jalfrezi was absolutely delicious – so full of flavour. The butter masala was also incredible, rich and creamy, and the pilau rice was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted so fresh and well made. Definitely one of the best Indian meals I’ve had. Highly recommend!

02/11/2025: Food was pretty decent and a pretty reasonable price. My sandwich only had a single slice of bacon in it but was delicious nonetheless. Newt was over the moon with his beef sandwich and we both enjoyed the pastel de nata, newt was very happy to have a vegan option and I enjoyed my raspberry one. I think my iced chai came from a powder but then I can’t expect a Portuguese cafe to be the experts in chai can I?

31/10/2025: Good not great. I got a chai, the chorizo and cheese sandwich and a chocolate pastel de nata all for €16. Not bad for the price. However the sandwich size was small and could’ve been filled with more chorizo, and the chai was much too milky. The pastel de nata was good! I liked the chocolate touch. The sides were a wee bit burnt, but that’s okay, it was nothing major. Atmosphere was cute and nice for a quick lil solo coffee date, glad I went, but would probably only go back for a pastry

05/12/2025: We ordered for collection. The chicken balls were nice, and the Korean corn dog was enjoyable slightly overcooked but still good. The Thai green chicken curry was lovely, though the flavour could have been stronger. Portion sizes were generous, and everything was packed neatly. Overall, a decent meal especially for price.

20/11/2025: Wilde and Green in Milltown is one of those places that seems to have been designed by someone with excellent taste and absolutely no interest in where you’re supposed to park your car. You arrive hungry, optimistic, and ready for lunch, only to find a small car park across the road that appears to operate on a first come, first serve, and good-luck-to-you system. There are, technically, two spaces outside, but they are about as attainable as front-row tickets to a sold-out gig. Once you manage to wedge your vehicle somewhere within the general postcode, however, things take a turn for the better. I went in with my uncle for an early lunch. He ordered the breakfast sandwich, I took the chicken sandwich, and both arrived pre-made but warmed up to a level that, against all odds, actually works. My uncle then demolished a scone with the enthusiasm of a man who has found his true calling. The coffees followed: he became an instant devotee of their cappuccinos, while I stuck with an americano that did exactly what it was supposed to do without making a fuss about it. The staff were sound, friendly, and helpful in the kind of effortless way that makes you forgive nearly anything. They’ve also got a gourmet range of bits you can take home, all of which look dangerously tempting, especially if you're the type who shouldn’t be trusted with a credit card while hungry. In the end, Wilde and Green is one of those spots that would be almost perfect if someone could simply magic twenty extra parking spaces into existence. But once you’re inside, with a warm sandwich, a good coffee, and the faint smell of baked goods calling your name, you forget the minor battle you had outside. Worth a visit. Just bring patience for the parking.

19/12/2025: Great burguer place, the best in the area for sure! The staff is also amazing and friendly, we became regulars now. Make sure to taste the onion rings and the shake!

04/01/2026: I was really disappointed with the value for money at this restaurant. While the staff were very nice and accommodating, the prices were far too high for what was actually served. When we were seated, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, without being told the price. This turned out to be €6.90 per bottle, which felt excessive. We were also given a small dish of prawn crackers — about 7 in total between the three of us — which was surprisingly stingy. For my main, I ordered the crispy chilli beef, which cost €32. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I expected at all. Instead of strips of beef, it was more like puffed, crunchy beef crisps, which was quite disappointing. Rice was not included and cost an extra €5, but it couldn’t be ordered for one person — only shared between two. Even then, the portion was so small it was barely enough for one person. Overall, the food portions were extremely small for the price charged. While the service was good, the experience didn’t justify the cost, and I left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied.

23/12/2025: We had a super fun evening at the Orchid on the 18th December to celebrate two Birthdays and Christmas get together .. Everything from the time we entered was just fab .. The friendliest attentive staff, most delicious food and great wines and tiger beers to wash it all down !! A great night for us all .. Thanks for the scrumptious sponge cake too ..

08/09/2025: Not a good option if you're a person of colour trying to order anything, as the cashier will not serve you. I felt very bad and racially disrespected in the Thomas Street shop last Saturday. I queued for a long time and when it was my turn to order, a blond girl working as a cashier acted like I wasn't there and started to chat whit her colleague. Then she left the cash register and to do something else, no word or mention that she would return in a minute. Funny thing is that everyone before me was white (4 people). The coffee shop wasn't busy at all and other staff members were not rushing, so no excuse to her to ignore a customer. It is very shamefull for them to keep this type of workers there.

07/09/2025: We ordered a small carrot cake birthday cake and it was delicious, one of the best I’ve had! Staff are very kind and hospitable and the bakery is very clean and spacious.

15/01/2026: This Starbucks saved us! We were walking around Howth and it was freezing! Here we were able to warm up and recharge. The place is spacious and nice and warm. Recommended.

27/12/2025: Excellent service, facilities, and quality. A little noisy at times, but everything was fine.
