The best restaurants in Dublin

15/02/2026: Cant review food that they never bothered to send first time placing an order and will be the last. If you plan on loosing weight this is the best place for you as you probably wont get your food or a call to say they cant deliver.

14/10/2025: I visited your restaurant approximately an hour ago and would like to share my recent experience. Before entering the queue, I wanted to ask one of your staff members whether you had the Bufalina pizza available. Unfortunately, I was met with a rude and dismissive response—“It’s in the oven.” Later, when I proceeded to place my order, another staff member served me in a cold and indifferent manner. I have ordered the Bufalina pizza from your restaurant many times before, and it has never been served as burnt as it was today. I was quite surprised by the quality. Moreover, as I was leaving with my order, I noticed three members of your team looking directly at me while speaking in their own language and laughing, which made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected.

09/10/2025: I ate pasta carbonara there which was very good and the servers are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: Disappointing to the core! Went in for Valentine's lunch today and felt trapped by the set menu. It was no where mentioned on the website that they will only be serving from a set menu on Valentine's. Highly expensive and low quality food. We found a hair in a tandoori roti. Told the waiter about it but he seemed careless and told us he'll let the chef know. That's it. No apologies or any compensation! If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Indian food, Doolally is NOT the place to go to. There are several other places in Dublin that offer way better food at a better price.

11/02/2026: Overall, Doolally does not live up to it's online hype. Although the prices are fairly reasonable for a densely populated area. The restaurant seems to operate in an ethically controversial manner by separating curries with essential components such as rice or naan. Instead labeling them as sides and charging extra. This is clearly not the standard as Michelin Indian Restaurants in Dublin include the aforementioned essentials. Food: although the option is present to vary the spice level of your chosen dish. The differentiating ingredients seem to be the existence or nonexistence of raw chillies. The lamb is considerably fatty resulting in a chewy gamey experience. Service: waiters are hard to identify and difficult to come across. The main server for our table rolled his eyes with dissatisfaction when we took some time to clarify how many sides we wished to add on. The plates came cold and fingerprinted. It also took three attempts to receive hot water. However, Doolally does have competent, welcoming waiters, this particular waiter covered the shortfall of his colleague without any dismay. Atmosphere: the lighting makes it difficult to see the menu and the open space makes conversations difficult. However, having sight of the kitchen was pleasant.

25/01/2026: The pizza is way too thin; in some spots, it was literally as thin as a hair. It felt like eating nothing.🙂‍↔️ The prices are way too high for such a thin pizza.👎🏻 To make matters worse, the pricing is a total mess. They have one price listed on their website, a different one on the restaurant menu. Also,we asked for the fries we saw on the website, but they weren't even on the menu at the restaurant....so no fries 🤣 Everything is very confusing.

12/01/2026: I'm from New York.. this pizza is exceptional Fresh ingredients, tender chicken.. pizza with a basil and pesto.. excellent 👌 I would place them in top 5 NYC pizzas we've had. A must try

18/08/2025: They don't do food, but if your having a party they allow food to be delivered. Staff are very friendly and lovely pints. The establishment has a good friendly atmosphere, we come here quiet a lot.

01/01/2026: The chicken pieces were black on the inside and were like rubber, the dish I got was supposed to come with veg but there was nothing. Never again.

28/12/2025: Best Indian Food in Ireland. Ambiance was so good. Recommended to everyone.

30/09/2025: Extremely disappointed. It was amazing little place, we got rolls for so long from them. Last week I decided to grab a bite, price went up. Oh, well! The roll had barely anything in it. It was 90% bread with zero taste. I think it was my last visit.

11/09/2025: If Carlsberg did sandwich bars!!! Nice and clean establishment, friendly staff, very tasty food. I'll defo be back when I'm back in the area. Outdoor seating also.

14/11/2025: Service could be a lot better. For some very strange reason they dont take cash. Coffee was very good value and tasted very good

17/10/2025: Lovely options of salad, fancy price but tasty. Very helpful workers to decide your salad size and ingredients.

09/10/2025: Ordered a sprout from Deliveroo and the salad was freezing when delivered, the portion was tiny with half the bowl empty and they gave next to no sauce. So disappointing given how expensive it is

24/02/2026: We were a group of eight at Roly’s Bistro and received excellent service. The service was attentive and efficient. The food is good, with a diverse menu that catered to the different tastes of the group. The prices are a bit high, but the quality matches the restaurant's concept. Overall, it was a good experience.

16/02/2026: We went for breakfast, initially greeted we sat down with only 2 other covers in the venue (all had ordered or received food) 10 mins later, we still weren’t approached for our order however very frustrating was when a table of 4 arrived 10 mins after us and got their order taken within 3 mins and then served their food before us also. It was another 5 mins at least before we personally had to sign post a waitesss to our table. I later watched another person get up and ask for service to their table. We then waited a further 30 mins to receive our food. So in total we waited approx 50 mins from sitting down to receiving our food. Awful service, no one asked how our meal was going or if we needed anything g else and at the end when paying we were given no question of how our meal was, the only reason this review gets a star is only due to the food as it was actually good. The service level appears to be selective and for us was far below average. We unfortunately will not return.
