The best restaurants in Dublin

12/10/2025: I recently ordered food from Silver Kitchen Restaurant for a function catering to 20 guests. The quantity provided was more than sufficient, and the quality and taste of the dishes were excellent. All our guests were very satisfied, and the service was prompt and professional. I would highly recommend Silver Kitchen Restaurant for any event or large gathering.

25/10/2025: Been to Rolys twice this week. It's always excellent. The early bird menu in the terrace area is really good value because the food is top quality. One of the best restaurants in Dublin in my opinion.

23/10/2025: Very pretentious, value paid to food/drink was not worth it. Just felt like we really should have walked on by!! More info. Our choice that night was the bridge, very busy probably an hour to get in or Rolys. No lineup!! Got ignored at the entrance for 5 minutes with no one there. Then finally to a table and there we sat. Now with pre dinner drink it would've been ok but that was not offered as the table beside us who came in after us was served. At that point I guess I should've said something but didn't as the game was on now! Finally after 15 minutes we were brought menus and asked about drinks which we ordered. Then...waited. Finally came. Order dinner and server acted like he didn't care, didn't seem to know what anything really was. So we ordered and hoped for the best. It's been 2 months so I don't remember what we had but it wasn't anything memorable. Even getting the bill was a chore. Just overall a sad tourist experience at a place highly highly recommended by our tour guide. Maybe it's just us but....

08/10/2025: The restaurant itself is good, but the customer service really needs improvement. One of the staff members — apparently a Mexican guy — tends to speak and say “thank you” by shouting, which is very uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time it has happened, so it seems to be a recurring issue. There’s a clear lack of manners and tact when dealing with customers, because shouting “thank you” isn’t the same as being friendly. It comes across as rude and even a bit arrogant. It would be great if the restaurant could provide better guidance to the staff on how to communicate properly with customers.

25/08/2025: Costa is a great chain that serves a rich roast coffee. You either love your coffee this way or not. I absolutely love it this way. This branch is located within the Northwood area and has good service and, for our convenience, a better set of toilets. While there are many who dislike chains, this particular chain offers consistent service and quality in terms of coffee and food across the group, almost without exception.

17/07/2025: A great pint of Guinness, great value, and a lovely Dublin pub atmosphere. Plenty of racing and GAA on TV , couldn't ask for more.

29/07/2025: I ordered a brigadeiro cake, and it was a huge hit. It was beautiful and very chocolatey. Plenty of filling and an incredible flavor without being cloying. It was the star of the party. Everyone loved it!

16/09/2025: Excellent and service. So good we are regulars at Midori. Give it a try and you will be hooked.

30/08/2025: We went for dinner today. The sushi was fine. Not amazing but no disasters. I had the unagi donburi and it was inedible. The fish was like rubber. I told the waitress I wasn't able to eat it and was met with an OK. This is fine, they are young waitresses in there. The miso soup was also not very nice and was also left. Overall the other people I was with enjoyed their meals hence the overall score. Will we return, probably not.

05/10/2025: We had a few beers and an Old Fashioned there. The staff were very friendly. Dalkey is generally a very nice place. Recommendation: buy the Leap Visitor Card for €18 for 3 days. This allows you to travel all over Dublin on public transport. 72 hours of freedom. Definitely worth it. We'll definitely be back to this pub.

28/09/2025: Food looked good did not eat here this time but will on our next visit music and singer playing in the nearby lounge sounded good nice way to pass a evening

14/10/2025: Purchased food from the Camile Lucan branch and when I tried to eat it, there was a bad smell off it. When I ate the chicken the taste was awful and it seemed like it was gone off. We called Camile Lucan who werent helpful at all. After some discussion they said they would come to the house to collect it. I took the nearly full container out of the bin and they took it away and we called them 30 minutes later to ask for our refund. We were told that there would be no refund and the chicken was fine. It most certainly was not. They were being very smart with us with a complete disregard for the fact that we paid money for a product that was gone off and now back with them! Do not order from this place unless you want food poisoning and a headache from rude staff. Would give zero stars if google would let me.
