23/08/2025: Anytime I get to visit Dalkey, I head to Pepperlaine for the best cappuccino and tasty treat to fuel me up for the day browsing around this lively village. I’m looking forward to popping in over the Lobster festival for my caffeine fix and the chance to pick up a great locally sourced gift for an upcoming birthday while I’m there.

20/01/2026: This is my pharmacy. Keeping the family well, Finn and his lovely staff, are my go to for all kinds of advice to keep the doctor away. Highly recommend stopping here before getting that prescription filled or as a complementary approach. Finn has the knowledge and the beneficial supplements for treating those stubborn ailments and has helped in the treatment and cure of my daughter’s warts on her hands, which were an enigma to the doctors.

17/01/2026: Great cappuccino in the Rathmines leisure centre..i go every weekend when children are at their swimming lesson ..staff are lovely..except for this morning..rushed and curt service..not the usual friendly experience.

11/12/2025: Just stayed there. Great place and will return. From being centrally located in Dublin and so easily walkable around the area and the history, I just cannot say enough about my first trip to the area. I wish I could have tried dinner at the on-site restaurant however it was closed Sunday when I planned to attend. The only thing I could offer as a suggestion for improvement would be an upgrade to the Wi-Fi system, however this will not prevent me from returning as you spend most of the time in the city. Great hotel. Thanks again cheers

22/08/2025: Nice coffee, fair prices and a nice setting. My only issue is the service.. the lads take one persons order at a time (even if you order one Americano … they will take payment and make the Americano start to finish before speaking to the next person) it slows things down a lot when the next person in line may also just like one coffee.

27/12/2025: I bought fish and chips and a snack box (fried chicken and chips) from this place over the past few days, and on both occasions it was great. Their prices are reasonable, and the food is very nice.

17/12/2025: The loyalty scheme is a scam 15% off after 9 deliveries! I’ve been there and when I asked about it was told it’s not available any more ? Still on my second round now and my 3rd delivery let’s see how it goes . I’ve had good burgers and chips from here when you collect but deliver can be slow with food warm and sometimes reheated chips ! But overall a local chipper

30/10/2025: Millie at Cluck Chicken Walkinstown is always so friendly and welcoming! She’s quick, efficient, and makes sure every order is spot on. Her great attitude really adds to the experience — fantastic service every time!

05/05/2025: Excellent location. Impeccable, clean room, with enough towels and daily cleaning. Coffee/tea replenished every day, muffins, water and juices upon arrival. We had a room on the top floor, quiet and pleasant. I believe that these are not the most pleasant stairs to climb for those who may have difficulty climbing.

09/01/2026: Never exceptional but not the worst. Service is always friendly but there is better value elsewhere. Quality is average. The best thing on the menu is crispy duck. But the portions are generally small. The stir fried chicken is tiny for €27 and I understand why they push the rice and noodles extras as there is about 200ml of stock in the bottom of a small bowl. 08/10/2025: The restaurant itself is good, but the customer service really needs improvement. One of the staff members — apparently a Mexican guy — tends to speak and say “thank you” by shouting, which is very uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time it has happened, so it seems to be a recurring issue. There’s a clear lack of manners and tact when dealing with customers, because shouting “thank you” isn’t the same as being friendly. It comes across as rude and even a bit arrogant. It would be great if the restaurant could provide better guidance to the staff on how to communicate properly with customers.
