The best restaurants in Dublin

22/10/2025: I’ve been to all their stores and all of them are doing such a fantastic job Burrito is always my favourite after trying it at Tula !! Special thanks to Sushel & Tony !!

08/10/2025: The restaurant itself is good, but the customer service really needs improvement. One of the staff members — apparently a Mexican guy — tends to speak and say “thank you” by shouting, which is very uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time it has happened, so it seems to be a recurring issue. There’s a clear lack of manners and tact when dealing with customers, because shouting “thank you” isn’t the same as being friendly. It comes across as rude and even a bit arrogant. It would be great if the restaurant could provide better guidance to the staff on how to communicate properly with customers.

12/10/2025: No matter who you are or where your from, you will always be welcomed, by both staff and patrons, you would enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and the patrons are not shy, they love having the crack,( laugh), and will get up and sing and dance, You wouldn't be left sitting on your own, for their Irish nature would welcome you into their company, and the stories they could tell you about their lives, they would have you in stitches laughing, but they would respect it if you just wanted to sit by yourself to have a quiet drink, they wouldn't take offence, they would just have their Irish friendly nature The owner and bar staff are the same, friendly welcoming, and treat everyone the same, whether your a local or visitor, many years ago I was a landlady of a bar, and had lots of staff, although some where good, but nothing compared to the staff they're, everyone if them are professional, friendly, and courteous, this is why the patrons respect them all, and it believe because of the staff, the pub is still in the area, where there were lots of pubs on that street and this is the only one that still remains open, I've seen people coming in that where either holiday makers or new to the area, that would pop in, intended just to have one drink to see what it was like, and they would end up staying for the night, they had that much fun, because of the staff and patrons down to earth personalities A good idea to try ring to find out what night they have entertainment, as you will certainly enjoy the atmosphere

28/10/2025: Service was 10/10 - very fragile after the Dublin marathon and they made sure to get us back warm. Very patient and caring. Hot chocolate and coffee was lovely.

26/11/2025: Got called boss, my friend was given a free cup of garlic sauce despite only bringing his own food from home. The owner also heated my friends food. Service was amazing, just like the food. 10/10

17/10/2025: It’s a nice place. They had two vegan options and i had the shepherds pie: it was quite nice. The staff is helpful. But the reason why we ate there was to go up to the bar after. The bar WXYZ I would visit again anyday.

04/10/2025: Amazing food and staff everything was amazing the fish and chips were brilliant and the brownie melts in your mouth, If you love a really nice restaurant and love pub grub this I would highly recommend

17/11/2025: Good pub, would recommend for a quiet solo pint. Manager has gone very corporate lately. Like a 2010s DJ he used to be cool now he’s pandering to the masses. Do I like the guy? Yes I do. Am I happy with him at the moment? No I’m not. Am I the best looking guy in Rathgar? Yes I am.

21/11/2025: Sadly l have to leave a not so positive review. Ordered a savoury crepe. Cooked fresh, delicious, coffee. 3FE coffee superb. Service well where do l begin?. But,this is a big But!!!. Ordered a fresh pastry. As advertised on billboard outside. What l recieved was a rock hard almond croissant. When l spoke first to waitress. She said they were fresh."You should have asked for it to be warmed up."! Then choose to ignore me ( really warmed up hmmm ok) l finished my coffee went to pay, brought the pastry to the till. Said, again "it's not fresh" I'm not paying for it." Between two staff, one the manager. I was told l have to pay( yes for edible food! No to stale food!!!) it's organic says she!( So and?) Maybe it's the flour says she!!. Aw jaysus this is getting hilarious says l. Again told l should have asked for it to be heated. No! l have a right to eat a pastry that is cool and fresh. To which this one was not. There was a stand off. It's freshly baked this morning. I was told To which l was also told the supplier provides them Fresh. Well after back and forth and me refusing point blank to pay for something that was utterly stale and probably 2 days old. I was also told sure it's only 3 euros. The absolute gall from the smart arsed waitress. I reminded her of customer service. I also said" we can create a scene if they wished in front of customers." we can take it to the ombudsman even. Let's really go all out.!!! I again repeated l am not paying for food l can't eat. Call the garda if you want!!!. I said try put a knife through it and see how hard it is. They just looked at each other. I repeated again. Didn't budge. I asked for whoever is over the manager. It is not about the 3 euros as the waitress and manager put it. It's about enjoying a fresh food item with ones coffee . I also purchased and had a very fresh crepe.Some staff pleasant but the two l dealt with should be reminded off customer service and no l don't have to except that generations attitude either of owing them by not complaining. Is this the attitude being taught in the schools today. Overheard one went to a local Gael school.So avoid the so called fresh pastries and maybe go for the crepes, coffee and wine. Don't be afraid to stand ones ground either. I went to Lidl after in case l thought l was going mad and pastries should be rock hard! and purchased 3 croissants soft like pillows and fresh. 3 for 1:80. So l will add it was never about the 3 euros.( cheeky madam of a waitress) It's common sense, and as for customer service tough Wow!! once customer complained this morning. But then sone reviews have same problem with the service. A lot of people looking for jobs out there girls!!. Easily replaced with more cop on and polite persons. So maybe change the supplier , hard rock maybe from organic flour best joke of the year!!!!

10/11/2025: Lovely French creperie. Service is always good and the staff are amazing. I come here alot and their coffee game is great also.

25/11/2025: I was here few times: always as drop in when hectic traffic- to wait for better way- with my grandson. Such warm atmosphere, smiling and friendly staff - I am very happy here when spending few hours.. and.. a beef! .. just melting in the mouth.. quiet music…. What else one would dream when outside windy and traffic jam for hours? BIG THANK YOU!!!

23/11/2025: Good hotel. Very friendly staff (in Ireland, so what do you expect), good room size, quiet, and good location if you are visiting Park West. Quite a distance from the centre of Dublin, although there is a bus that is inexpensive.

24/11/2025: Love comedy every day of the week in the heart of Dublin! A great way to escape the repetitive Dublin pub scene and experience some local comedy talent. And they have a bar too so you will not miss out

17/11/2025: Security needs a serious review. I went here with a group of friends and the security were unnecessarily aggressive and physical. Many people in the club were doing shoulder rides so my friend and I did one too. I understand that this would deserve security telling me off, and I acknowledge I should not have done that. But whilst I was on her shoulders a female security came over and yanked me by my arms to pull me off, making the situation way more dangerous as I would’ve fallen off sideways if it wasn’t for my other friend who caught me. I then apologised and recognised I won’t do it again, however she yelled at me and dragged me out by the arm despite my calm apologies. It was completely unnecessary because a warning would’ve sufficed, yet she felt it necessary to pull me off and be extremely aggressive. After, I tried to calmly have a conversation with the bouncers but not a single one would acknowledge me and they shooed me away when I asked to discuss what happened. I was not drunk and being extremely polite - the security staff were just on a complete power trip and were completely unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. I later found out that she acted in a similar manner to many other people for unjustified reasons. Would not recommend this place and suggest that the venue needs to review their selection of security staff and general staff members.

06/06/2025: First i stepped on dog poo out side her shop i asked her for water to clean it of but when i had tisue and got it off by stepping on puddles i was just trying to tell its ok and I got it off bit she started acting cheeky wont even let me speak saying it not my problem and leave my store now and sighed steppingcon some dog poo and asking free water bare in mind if she would asked me it cost money i would pay because i dont have a problem with it cause she wants to bisness and she was very cheeky and I went there before and the Coffee was so bitter and disgusting i would not recommend it for anyone.

03/06/2025: Cute and traditional café located in the center of Dublin. Here you can get a traditional Irish breakfast among other options like bagels, sandwiches and wraps. The staff was very friendly and even brought the food to our table. The food was sensational and gave us a sense of tradition inside of a modern city like Dublin. We would recommend this place to have breakfast or coffee any day!

31/08/2025: Ordered for delivery and it was amazing! We got a pizza and a kebab, the pizza was so soft and fresh topped off with chicken, mushrooms, peppers, corn and ham it was delicious. Then we ordered a kebab and it was so tasteful and the food arrived still very warm which was a plus. Will definitely order again as it was quick and easy and staff was helpful explaining the different types of pizzas you can order. Highly recommend!!

30/08/2025: I ordered from this takeaway recently and was really impressed! The pizza was spot on – fresh, tasty, and with a nice crispy base. The kebab was packed with flavour, generous in portion, and really satisfying. The food was ready quickly, still hot when I picked it up, and the staff were friendly and polite. It’s definitely one of the best spots around for a quick, delicious meal. I’ll definitely be ordering again!
