28/07/2026: First time in the pub just went in for last drinks as id already been out had 2 pints of bulmers which was really nice the staff was very helpful we sat in the outdoor area which was lovely and people very friendly pub itself was very clean would definitely recommend for either a quiet drink in the lounge or a bit of a laugh in the outdoor area

09/07/2026: A real gem on the North side of Dublin.Prices are average, staff are great , toilets are spotless , smoking area at back of pub. No Giant screens so you can catch up with friends. The product is excellent. 👍 Going in when Croke Park is open may not be a good idea, however there is a huge area outside Gaffney's to meet up...

30/07/2026: Food didn't taste good or fresh everything seemed frozen even the salad bar and desserts were disappointing

22/07/2026: This is our go-to buffet in Dublin City Centre as they have loads of food options - from starters to desserts. They're reasonably priced for good quality food. Staff are so attentive, and so accommodating of our requests.They even personalised their birthday greeting for my son's 7th birthday. Soooo good! Thanks Wing's!❤️

09/07/2026: We spent three nights here. Our room was off the street, but my god the sea gulls make noise nonstop! All night long squawking and screaming. We would have closed the windows, but we're having a heat wave. Other than that, the place is nice and the staff are pleasant. We ate breakfast every morning in the restaurant and pretty much covered the menu. It's all good and satisfying. Would recommend.

16/02/2026: We recently had our wedding reception at Stephens Green Club, and from the moment we first viewed the venue and met Helen and Rita, we knew it was the perfect place for us. From day one, our experience was absolutely top class. Everything was handled with such professionalism and care — from the initial quotes and menu tasting to the table décor and every detail in between. Rita was incredible throughout the entire process. She guided us every step of the way, making what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. Her communication was always prompt, clear, and reassuring, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue itself is stunning, elegant, and full of character, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was and how amazing the food and service were. We are so grateful to Helen, Rita, and the entire team for making our wedding reception truly unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend Stephens Green Club more highly. Lorna and Edel

29/03/2026: I live close and I shop here when I can, I am italian and I particularly shop here cause they have good italian products straight from Italy, they have De Checco pasta brand, which is very good and pistacchio cream, tomato sauce straight from italy, as well as other toppings and organic honey from an Irish honey farm of the area!🤩 Also, they make delicious homemade cakes and muffins, which are a must try! Staff is very kind and friendly! :)

13/07/2026: I visited the Nando's in Dún Laoghaire yesterday and asked about safe food options for someone with a specific dietary intolerance. The person who handled my inquiry—who I believe was the manager, as he explicitly stated he didn't want anyone dying on "his shift" and seemed to be the person in charge—gave me a shocking response. He told me that if anyone has any type of allergy or intolerance, they shouldn't eat at his restaurant because he "doesn't want anyone dying on his shift." Having a food intolerance or a medical condition is not a choice. People with dietary restrictions already face enough challenges trying to enjoy a meal out with friends without being treated like a dangerous liability. There is a massive difference between professionally explaining cross-contamination policies and being downright rude, hostile, and insensitive. If a restaurant cannot safely accommodate a dietary restriction, that information should at least be delivered with basic human respect, rather than making a customer feel unwelcome and humiliated. Shocking lack of empathy from someone running the floor.

29/07/2026: We had a very disappointing experience here. My little boy had a ham and cheese toastie and it was so stale and crumbly, he couldn't eat it. Their cakes look like half portions but they charge more than average. My food was below average. After I left, I checked the receipt and couldn't believe that I had been charged a tip, they took €5.94!!! Absolutely robbery considering the food and drinks came to €29. That's a 20% tip they helped themselves to. I have no problem tipping but not when the choice is taken from me. It was my 1st and last time to go there. Underwhelming food and overwhelming prices. Not impressed!

She was working on her own on Sunday morning, even though the place was packed and there was a long queue of customers Even under pressure, she was quick, efficient, friendly and professional :) She handled everything with a great attitude and made sure we were all well looked after. Thank you Carolina! I’ll definitely be back for a coffee after my tennis session

19/06/2026: You can make a salad with various vegetables, add some couscous, falafel, or something else. You can also choose meat dishes. Eat in or take out. The atmosphere is airy, pleasant, and the prices are reasonable.

07/06/2026: I absolutely loved the view here. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, enjoy the scenery, and completely lose track of time. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside for me was the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, but both the taste and the foam were a bit disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations. That said, I’m willing to give it another try, as it may have been an off day rather than a reflection of their usual quality. Despite that, it’s a lovely spot with a great atmosphere, beautiful views, and excellent service. I’d happily visit again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind.

17/05/2026: Myself & my partner visited this cafe on Saturday 16th May, based on our previous experience some weeks ago, when we got a delicious lunch of smoked salmon & cream. cheese with a cup of soup, which was special of the day. Our 2nd visit was far from even satisfactory. The special, which my partner opted for, was described as a goats cheese salad with pomegranate & oranges & nuts. There was little or no goats cheese, one small piece of orange, no nuts and the plate was mostly filled with rocket, priced at €14, very bad value. The waitress had an extremely poor attitude when I complained about it and was totally indifferent to my complaint. I asked for the owner and was told she was away until the following week. Would not be returning to this cafe. Before I left I heard the same waitress tell a couple at 4.05 pm that they were closing in 5 minutes when it states online that closing time is 5.00 pm. This waitress badly needs a lesson in good customer service. When presented with the Bill, there was no offer to reduce it to account for the complaint.

15/05/2026: Had small breakfast. Really tasty and cooked well. Staff lovely. Was busy but got a great table at the window for four of us. No complaints from any of us.

29/07/2026: I stopped by by chance while passing through. There was a very kind Korean staff member there. I highly recommend that Koreans visit. It was such a pleasant surprise to find a spot while traveling far away. The cinnamon apple pie was delicious. The latte was tasty too. It seems to be quite popular; when I arrived at 3 PM, many of the pastries were already sold out.

22/11/2025: Just an update in Nov 25. The food is better than ever. Just had one of the best hot and sour soups, packed with meat and prawns and deliciously spicy. The spice bag had delicious and large chicken pieces with very good chips. Breast of Chicken curry, fried rice and spare ribs all very good. Top class. Very tasty, authentic and consistent Chinese restaurant. Excellent for take away, top marks from me.

09/11/2025: delivery time needs to be set up earlier, we orderd at 4:55 as soon as they open it, all we got was chicken balls chips and 3 in 1 the food didnt arrive until 6:25, when we called at 6:05 the lady said its on the road and wont be long, we then called at 6:18, the lady once again said its on the way, lo and behold it did not arrive until 6:25. Either hire more drivers or open the times earlier

30/06/2026: We popped in at 6pm easily seated in the really busy local gem , the food was delicious the service was great and definitely worth a return visit and must add really really good value for what we had to eat

16/06/2026: Really lovely restaurant. Very good place to take kids. Very tasty food. The early bird menu and kids menu was great and very good value.
