16/06/2026: Great stop for coffee and a light bite. Staff very friendly.

05/04/2026: I came here looking for a quick snack in the afternoon. The cafe was very nice and was clean. The staff were very friendly at this location. I had an iced chai latte, which was very good. I’ve had chai lattes, that are way too milky. I also tried this Oreo cake. It was okay. The flavor wasn’t strong and the cake was a bit dry. It was a good snack though. I would definitely come back to this location again.

17/08/2026: We have ordered here a number of times and the food has always been great but unfortunately last night was so disappointed. One of the dishes was the special curry but it was inedible. The sauce was lumpy like it had been frozen and defrosted and there was no taste from it at all it was like it was watered down. Actually threw it in the bin. Sorry but just had to let you know.

15/08/2026: We got a spice bag to take away last night. The staff were very friendly & the food was hot & came quickly. The chicken was crispy & the chips were really nice & not greasy at all. Overall really tasty with a nice kick of chilli. The only negative for us was that there was not much chicken & only one piece of pepper & a few silvers of onion,so it didn't compare to our usual take away which has lots of peppers, onions & chicken. If that was improved upon, I'd definitely choose to order from here again.

30/06/2026: I bought a drink so I could use the bathroom, but a homeless man barged by me, nearly knocking me over, and went into the toilet before me. Security did not care that he did not buy anything or that he nearly knocked me over. He remained in the bathroom until closing and I was unable to use the bathroom. This is the only reason I even bought a drink so this is unacceptable

25/06/2026: Thursday, 25th June, 8:30am. Servers yawning while taking our order, visually unkempt hair and rudeness. Got our order wrong, then threw his eyes to heaven when corrected. Definitely doesn't keep with Costa term: Costaristas: Costa's term for their passionate, barista-trained employees

27/06/2026: The service really makes this place! You get greeted and taken to a table which is so lovely. Table service even if you just want drinks. Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming! Also a really good price for a pint in Dublin!

30/05/2026: Had a Jameson mixed drink, think he forgot the whiskey. Zero smell, zero taste but well paid. Went to the club on the opposite site and ordered the same drink. Hypothesis proved. Charming pub though and friendly server. But 10€ for a drink that tastes of nothing but ginger ale is a joke.

18/08/2026: Food itself is amazing, particularly spice bag however wait for the noodles was a bit long, something like 20 min.

17/08/2026: We tried the stir-fried noodles and the portion was HUGE for such a small box 😆 The thin noodles came with veggies and tasted fresh, although they were honestly not quite our cup of tea. We also tried the chicken fried strips with curry sauce. The chicken was a bit too salty, but we were hungry so we still finished it 😂 The curry sauce, though, was really good! Delivery took around 50 minutes. Overall, it was okay, generous portions and fresh food.

26/07/2026: Went here about a year ago, quickly got me hooked on Five Guys. Prices may seem high compared to other fastfood, but portions are unbeatable. The fries come in such large portions, that they don't feel like a side; could be the main course. A medium feels like an extra-large. You can refill your cup with a wide range of drinks, only pay for the cup itself. This is very appealing. Took less than ten minutes to get me and my friend our food, though even if the wait was long, I truly believe the wait is worth it. Staff are quiet but kind, so no complaints there either. Would come here again!

13/08/2026: It’s no longer Elephant & Castle. The menu is very limited, mostly sandwich/ burgers. I ordered a salad and didn’t like it at all. Don’t recommend

08/08/2026: It's no longer the Elephant & Castle at the Mason hotel. The chicken wings tasted much the same as before. There is a new menu. It seems very limited to the previous one. They served food on a tin plate,which cheapened the experience. The desertsl weren't great but expensive. The portion of chips were tiny, but the price wasn't. The Mason was a regular experience for me ,but not any more. Looks like I will have to go back to the Elephant and Castle in Temple Bar.

From the moment we walked through the door, we received such a warm welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, making us feel at home straight away. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting, and the perfect setting for a lovely meal. 😊 There were five of us dining together, and each of us chose a different main course. Every single dish was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. The quality of the food exceeded our expectations, and every meal truly delivered on its promise. 🍽️👏 A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Reed on the River for providing us with such a wonderful dining experience. Your excellent service, fantastic food, and welcoming hospitality made our visit one to remember. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended. 🌟💖

15/05/2026: Great breakfast option, delicious juices, I ordered a bagel with eggs and bacon which was delicious, the only thing I would change is to serve it on a plate, it would be better served that way.

12/02/2026: Absolutely the best Indian TAKEAWAY Fresh ingredients. Perfect flavour. True Indian and also great for butter chicken lovers like me . Tried and tested over 5 years. The portions of popadoms are huge and come with dips. It’s the same price as anywhere but the quality across the menu is superb. I’ve travelled a long way home for this treat!! The food is SO DESERVING of the 5 stars!!! Also the delivery chap is always very friendly and quick. Food piping hot .

10/02/2026: Great food and excellent service. I tried the lamb biryani and it was amazing, and their naan breads are absolutely outstanding. Very nice.

18/06/2026: Really lovely experience at Bottles Bank Pub in Rathgar today. My son fell just outside and a staff member immediately came out to help us, cleaned his knee and put a plaster on him. Such a kind and caring gesture in the moment — really appreciated it as my son and I felt well looked after 😊 This definitely speaks well of the people working here! In a few years (at least 13!) when my son and I go for a pint, we will definitely come by! 😉😊
