See my review below: The best breakfast / lunch restaurant in Monkstown bar none. Everything on the menu is delicious it’s so hard to choose. Super service too! I’m a regular and always will be. Highly recommend an early G&T.

06/12/2025: 3 stars max because the place is cosy and the coffee is good, but I wouldn’t return there for the brunch menu…branch menu is just average and not a good value for money.

31/01/2026: Really lovely staff that were helpful, very fast service even though the place was quite busy and the food is fantastic. It’s not often I can say all three things about food service anywhere but will definitely recommend Regal Fare from now on 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

30/01/2026: We recently ordered food for collection from this place, and despite the name Spice of India, the food was the complete opposite of what you’d expect. While the prices are reasonable, the food had no real Indian flavour at all—just the colour of turmeric and an overwhelming sweetness. It honestly felt more like “Sweet of India.” There was no depth, no spice, no soul to the food. It seems heavily toned down and customised for people who think they’re tasting authentic Indian food, but aren’t. We cook far better Indian food at home using proper spices and flavours. Overall, a huge letdown and a waste of both time and money. There are many better places in town if you’re looking for genuine Indian cuisine.

06/10/2025: 5 stars. We ordered an ube cake for my son’s first birthday on very short notice, and they absolutely delivered! The cake was soft, moist, and so delicious everyone loved it. Thank you for making his special day even sweeter!

01/01/2026: Food was good but small portions, the manager was extremely rude and insulted my wife in a very unprofessional manner, I will never go again, terrible service.

28/10/2025: We often go there for family occasions and it’s always been excellent. I guess you would have to book in advance as it’s very popular. They sometimes have someone playing piano there and that’s a brilliant addition to the atmosphere. Highly recommended !

07/09/2025: TUD Bolton St is an experience. Step inside, and it’s basically a game of “Who’s the dodgy drug dealer and who’s a student?” Spoiler…you’ll never really know. In the faculty, the characters continue, one lecturer didn’t speak English, so the class ended up teaching him, while another is so ancient that his lecture slides are basically fossils from 1974. Classes come with a side of adrenaline and mild existential terror, but at least you’ll leave with stories, and maybe some survival skills. If you want traditional college vibes… maybe try literally anywhere else.

24/01/2026: Nice food, little veg (even though explicitly stated on the menu). The chips could have been fried slightly longer. Portion size is decent, but men will probably need to order a side with it. Atmosphere is good, sports were visible from all booths. Service was friendly. Good traditional pub.

05/03/2026: Delicious and quickly prepared burgers in the center of Dublin. The price is a bit high, but they taste great! You have to go into a pub and down some stairs to reach the burger joint.

01/01/2026: Great expresso coffee. Appreciated the fairness of the price of a single shot expresso. Its was perfect served in a porcelan cup and very good quality. The croissants where very good, fresh and crunchy. The ambiance is relaxed and cosy and enjoyed the decor with paintings on the wall and a map of the Suppliers in an outstanding frame. It has our reccomendation. Well done to the owners and Er Buchetto team.

01/01/2026: I used to go here regularly after work or sometimes with my friend on a Saturday afternoon when I lived nearby. I always had the toasted panino with roasted aubergine, roasted pepper, melted mozzarella and pesto, my dream food. If I had only one meal in life I think I’d seriously consider this. The coffee was top class. I’m the hardest person to please when it comes to coffee so this is saying something. The lady who owns the caffe I remember was such a hard working lady, so passionate and down to earth. I’m going to make the trip this week to pop in. I can’t wait. Great to see small local cafe’s come out tops 👍

16/06/2025: Trying somewhere new, got a matcha and banana bread. Matcha was not good, very bitsy and disappointing. Banana bread was quite dry but flavour was grand! Didn’t try the coffee but if you wanted matcha maybe try somewhere else unfortunately.

11/06/2025: I really love it here. Staff are very friendly, great coffee and my dog is always welcome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

19/11/2025: The chips were a bit dry, even though I asked for salt and loadsss of vinegar. The kebab in pita bread was also very spicy than I expected.🥵 Overall, I don’t really see the hype, so I wouldn’t be rushing back. :/

20/09/2025: “It was impossible to place an order online. I tried ringing the place continuously for almost two hours, but there was no answer. My online order was rejected twice because they couldn’t accept it.”

17/09/2025: The food was amazing and worth every single euro! Definitely a regular stop for good Indian food.

07/03/2026: Visited this branch around 4pm today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. My husband clearly ordered a burger as a meal. When choosing the side, we selected a half waffle / half onion rings option from the sides list. The staff member never mentioned that this option was not part of the meal, so we assumed it was included. I also told the staff that I had a reward and wanted to use it on the more expensive burger. However, when we paid, the reward was automatically applied to the cheaper burger instead. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. The manager became quite argumentative and impatient when I went back to ask about the price. Instead of explaining or helping resolve the issue, he called the staff member over and essentially had us debating about what was said during the order. We were also not shown the order before payment and were not given a receipt until I specifically went back to ask for it after noticing the price seemed wrong. Overall this felt very unprofessional and not the level of service I would expect from Eddie Rocket's.

05/03/2026: We spent two days in Dublin and both times we had to come here for dinner. I wish I'd remembered the waitress's name, because she served us both times and couldn't have been friendlier (she spoke Spanish); although I should also mention that we interacted with other members of the staff and they were all lovely. The Spice Bag is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable.

16/12/2025: Great establishment for fresh morning breakfast and afternoon lunch.
