13/08/2026: Delicious bagel! Friendly staff! I had the smoked salmon and the Sicilian sun dried tomato and a smoothie

08/08/2026: We were looking for something to fill our stomachs first thing in the morning, and this place totally solved the problem! The bagels were excellent, served quickly, and generously filled!

09/08/2026: During the heatwave I came here with my dog, I asked the lady for a takeaway cup so I could give the dog water. She told me the owner doesn’t allow her to sell them. I just said, it’s so I can give the dog water it’s just a cup, she still said no as apparently the owner does not allow it. How cheap and stingey is the owner?

11/08/2026: Bought yesterday Nimak Para came home once open the box was smelling bad also no date on it. Went back complaint and they gave me new box with date on it. It’s second time before I had buy Rasmlai and same it was smelling very bad even I mentioned yesterday to thu guy and he knows it.

03/09/2026: The place is lossing its charm. The staff didnt care anymore. She forgot the lassi and when asked she said in a blunt tone they are still making it and never got it. Had to cancel it when went to pay the bill.

01/09/2026: The tikka masala was inedible, didn’t taste like any other tikka masala I’ve had. Also charged €5 for white rice which wasn’t clear in the menu or when ordering

15/09/2026: I love Brownes for lunch but I have to say their coffee is just so bad. I feel so bad writing this because the staff are so lovely and the food is nice. I had coffee this morning and I brought it back because it’s €5.60 and it tasted really bad. I ordered an almond milk latte and I know almond milk can be difficult to froth but I think it was burnt or maybe the bean was burt. The staff were so nice and made me another one which was better but still not great. I had to bin it in the end because I didn’t want to go back in again. I’m not writing this as a bad review more advice.. I think it needs to be looked into a bit whether it’s a coffee error or a barista refresher course. I usually get a chai latte here and they’re lovely so I hate having to leave this review

10/09/2026: Lovely neighbourhood place to meet friends for a catchup and chat.

01/09/2026: Last Tuesday around 3:00 PM, a female staff member—who appeared to be Brazilian—exhibited severe racial discrimination against Asians. She could not distinguish between Chinese and Taiwanese people, which was already bad enough, but she then loudly mocked and criticized the English grammar my classmate and I were using. We came here and paid money to learn English, and we even brought a large group of students to your establishment to spend money. Despite this, she went so far as to kick us out and told us that we had better go somewhere else next time. We were not yelling or making noise. It was purely an act of racial discrimination; she explicitly told my classmate that she simply dislikes Chinese people. If you continue to hire staff like this, are you not worried about ruining your business? I will be filing a formal complaint with your general manager regarding this employee's unacceptable behavior.

25/08/2026: Killed some time here waiting for the National Gallery to open just around the corner. Good coffee, decent bakes, and a location that makes it an easy add-on before or after Kildare Street or the Gallery. Got a window table looking out over South Leinster Street and it was the best seat in the house, sun comes in and a nice bit of people watching while the coffee kicked in. Staff were genuinely warm too.. actually chatty and happy to have you there. Nothing revolutionary on the menu, fresh coffee, sandwiches and cakes, but the welcome lift it above the usual chain experience. Handy spot if you're museum hopping around this part of Dublin and want a proper sit rather than a rushed takeaway.

16/07/2026: Went here today with my friend and our kids and ordered food and drinks for us all staff was rude owner was rude and kept rolling there eyes and moaning about the kids and we only received our food he start giving out about the kids talking loudly kids are kids yeno its not as if they were running around they weren't .we cleaned up everything stacking the plates and left over and water spilled I offered to mop it up but no the rudeness contained never go back again it's for people with no kids. Absolutely a joke after spending over 100 euro never again.

05/07/2026: Great venue with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. They even helped me with rearranging the room and did the table covers for my event setup, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend this venue. 💯

21/08/2026: We had our wedding celebration couple of weeks ago at the Grand Canal Hotel and have to say it was perfect. From day 1 organising everything remotely with Gillian, up to the big day, everything was flawless, the rooms, the staff, the decoration, the food. We had arrived 30 mins early to the welcoming drinks and the staff rallied to have everything in place and the food brought earlier to accommodate our guests. Joao was in charge that day of coordinating everything and we're extremely thankful. The wedding dinner was perfect, the table decoration, the timing of the service, simply everything. All our guests left with a smile and a full stomach and that made us very very happy. Hence, if you are thinking on a perfect location to celebrate any event, in our case our marriage, we highly recommend the Grand Canal Hotel, if we could, we would do it all over again.

18/07/2026: Lovely food. Served hit and fresh. The staff was a young kid and he was vey good. Softly spoken and polite. He asked several times if we were okay and he was quick clearing the tables. The atmosphere was vey lively. Good music and happy people around. Do was very entertaining. My food was very delicious. I got my chips exactly the way I love them crispy and delucous. The quirkiness of the place was not too much but definitely colourful. I mistakenly used the male toilet and was thinking there will be chaos but nope. I was totally un noticed. It was a waste of time getting worked up. Lol.. There was lovely plants to admire too. I Will.definitely visit again

06/07/2026: We eat at the Bernard Shaw before every Croke Park visit, never dissapoints. Very friendly service and interesting food options. We'll be back.

26/08/2026: Probably the best coffee place in Dublin! The coffee is always amazing, and you can also buy beans to take home, which is a big plus. The service is always great, especially Maria, the Mexican girl — she’s super friendly and always makes you feel welcome.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely place to enjoy a coffee, catch up with friends, or simply take a quiet break, a fantastic spot for coffee lovers — highly recommended if you appreciate well-crafted coffee and a genuine café experience.

08/09/2026: Really good coffee and such a nice vibe! The staff are lovely too. They have toasties and a few bakery treats at the counter. Just a heads-up, the toasties and other food finish around 3 PM, but you can still grab things like carrot cake from the counter afterwards. Definitely a nice spot for a coffee after a walk around.

09/08/2026: One of the best sandwich places in town. My favorite one is the Beef Brisket Sandwich which is tbe best one I ever had. Definetly worth the money and a must try coz its sooo delicious.

19/08/2026: Got two aromatic half ducks and a can of Sprite. It supposed to cost approximately 28-29 euros but I was charged 45.55. Just noticed it a day later. Gona call them or call in into the shop to resolve the issue. Payment was made at 23:23 on 17 August.

30/08/2026: Food is delicious and really nice wine you can also beri g your own bottle if you want which two ladies did the day we visited lovely place

27/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9/10 We had such a wonderful experience at Momento! The service was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming, and a special mention to Milena, who was such a sweetheart and incredibly attentive. She really made our experience even more special! ❤️ The starters were perfect, and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful — such a lovely place for a date night. ✨ The desserts were incredible! We tried the brownie and the lemon cheesecake, and both were delicious. 🤤 Our main courses were also really, really tasty. The only small thing I would mention is that the steak could have been just a little more tender, but the flavours were fantastic. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere and outstanding service. We had a lovely evening and would definitely come back! ❤️ Thank you, Momento, for such a lovely experience! 🥂✨
