The best restaurants in Dublin

22/05/2026: Local to Dublin and would go to no.27 a few times a year for a nice pre-dinner drink on special occasions, and book an annual conference here. My daughter and I had booked in for lunch before going to inquire about booking her wedding at The Shelbourne. Really poor experience using a voucher, poorly manager by the manager at no.27. The customer service turned us off and no longer progressing wedding inquiry (180 guests) as a result. Food and atmosphere, customer service aside, lovely as always.

18/05/2026: Other than The Duke's in St. John's, Newfoundland, best fish and chips ever! Super busy bar, but worth the wait. Amazing service.

16/06/2026: Booked a takeaway at 5.15pm yesterday 15th June but 7pm it hadn't arrived. Called Mao & spoke with the manager. He was so rude and continued to tell me to call deliverroo as it wasn't his problem ! Deliveroo customer services close at 6.30pm so no joy there. Called the manager back & asked for a refund. He said no refunds, he continued being rude and so unprofessional. I will never order from Mao again as I got no food, no refund & sent 3 hours of my evening trying to sort it out ! The food is definitely not worth the hassle! Will go to Camille in future !

09/06/2026: Amazing food. Not sure when they reopened but the food we ordered for takeaway recently was delicious. Loads of flavour & a variety of veg in each dish.

20/05/2025: Second time having my son’s birthday here, unfortunately I won’t be booking again. The man at reception was so lovely and helpful! But after that it went down hill, the party “host” was on his phone leaning against the wall while kids played bubble football for the full 45 mins. The only time he lifted his head off his phone was to help a child that called him to help with the bubble. I went back into the man In reception and asked was the hosting to do any games with the kids, after this he went out to talk to him . After that the “host” took all the lads to the party room, came back with food and then left. The staff in the bar and the man in reception were so lovely and helpful, but the party “host” had no interest to be there, let alone the party host. Please give the kids that are there for a party, your time and attention.

18/04/2026: Absolutely loved my time at The Red Stables Market! The atmosphere is incredible, and the food lived up to the hype. The service was top-notch—everyone was so welcoming. It’s a fantastic spot for a weekend outing, and at €10-20 per person, it’s great value for the quality. Highly recommend!

28/03/2026: With the sunny and spectacular day we've had, it's been fabulous to be able to spend the day there, full of families, dogs and people enjoying a picnic on the grass, a luxury within everyone's reach.

18/08/2025: They don't do food, but if your having a party they allow food to be delivered. Staff are very friendly and lovely pints. The establishment has a good friendly atmosphere, we come here quiet a lot.

07/06/2026: Had such a great evening there! The three of us all went for a set menu that was more than generous and left us stuffed, for a very reasonable price. Every dish was special and tasty, especially the starters, and also the pizzas and desserts. Nice service and a great atmosphere it's an instant favourite in Blackrock now. Some people complaining about tap water being charged for, but actually, you do get filtered (much better tasting and I'd say, healthier) water, also sparkling, if you like, for 2 euros a person, and as much as you want. I drink quite a lot of water so I think this is a reasonable enough deal.

27/05/2026: This a new favourite coffee shop, I’m not a coffee drinker but this place was quiet and beautiful and we had the place to our self’s till closing

08/06/2026: Unbelievably hostile experience. I came in as a paying customer and ordered a coffee, a drink, and a sandwich, and sat with a friend to chat with my baby in a pram. The cafe was completely empty, yet the owner kicked me out simply because I had my baby in a pram. He rudely told me "this is not a crèche," claimed I was "being unfair to other customers" (in an empty shop), and stated that "no restaurant in Dublin allows prams," which is completely untrue. Instead of acting professionally, he continued to argue with me until I felt forced to leave. Disgraceful customer service and completely family-unfriendly. Avoid this place.

25/05/2026: Honestly surprised, I had to kill some time between seeing people for work. I didn't expect much, just to stop my hunger. I got the ham and cheese toastie with crisps/garlic dip. The price is the norm for Dublin which still feels a bit pricey but honestly is just the cost of business at this point, I understand that. The sandwich was genuinely delicious, it was served quickly and the dip was stellar. The staff were lovely and the interior while tiny has your typical chairs and table and a lovely comfy looking couch setup. In a world of often mediocre lunch options, this has mentally been added to definitely try again and the rest of their menu.

20/05/2026: Very bad, waiting to use the toilet 🚽, toilet locked, no sign of out of order, after 10 minutes of waiting, knocking on the door no sign of anyone there, a staff told me first that it was open and then when I said it was locked and he said oh it's in very bad condition so make up whatever that means, I don't know!

12/04/2026: Busy coffee house in Malahide Industrial Park. Slow service and quality of cakes quite low for the price paid. Coffee is of reasonable standard.

09/06/2026: The workers don’t have a clue what there doing I asked for no peri tamer sauce and no spring onions it came out with peri tamer sauce I politely said sorry I asked for no peri tamer she than came back with the same plate 15 minutes later with peri tamer still on it thinking I’m stupid so I couldn’t even eat my food and had to leave food was cold iswell.

05/06/2026: Great range of craft beers and plenty of sport on TV. Had a chicken baguette which was decent quality too. Overall, wasn't bad value either.

02/06/2026: I was really surprised with the quality and price!! The meal deal is amazing and I highly recommend it. Besides that, the space is really big and staff is kind and friendly. The only downside is that they don’t have coke and the orange juice was quite bitter, but still, I would definitely go there again!!
