The best restaurants in Dublin

26/10/2025: Not recommended, friendly welcome upon arrival, food not very special. The staff got grumpy because you didn't leave enough of a tip. Strange turn of events at the end of the evening.

22/10/2025: A very nice experience… Friendly service, good food (Burger was delicious though they do it well done)!

14/10/2025: Purchased food from the Camile Lucan branch and when I tried to eat it, there was a bad smell off it. When I ate the chicken the taste was awful and it seemed like it was gone off. We called Camile Lucan who werent helpful at all. After some discussion they said they would come to the house to collect it. I took the nearly full container out of the bin and they took it away and we called them 30 minutes later to ask for our refund. We were told that there would be no refund and the chicken was fine. It most certainly was not. They were being very smart with us with a complete disregard for the fact that we paid money for a product that was gone off and now back with them! Do not order from this place unless you want food poisoning and a headache from rude staff. Would give zero stars if google would let me.

29/09/2025: A friendly coffee shop with good light food options. A very popular spot in Dalkey, great outdoor seating.

21/09/2025: A cute little cafe with good coffee and tasty treats. There's just one table and a bar.

02/11/2025: As we were leaving with our infant, one of the staff stopped us and questioned us if we actually paid our bill already. Why being so rude and stopped us to ask that instead of checking with her colleagues? Because we were the only Asians there so they felt the need to stop us? Felt so discriminated and humiliated. Won’t return!

12/10/2025: We went to watch the comedy show there and it was excellent. Choice of beers was poor, but the bar in general was pretty good.

12/08/2025: El ascenso llegó justo a la hora de apertura del almuerzo, así que más o menos tenía elección de asientos. En un comedor amplio y acogedor. Precio fijo El almuerzo de 3 platos fue acogedor y todo estaba delicioso, con bebidas frescas. Terminado con café y capuchino. El personal era encantador, desde la bienvenida hasta la salida. Así que en resumen un agradable interludio.

26/07/2025: Tuvimos una deliciosa cena en Fallon y Byrne comedor. El menú incluía 3 copas de vino cada una, especialmente elegidas para complementar cada plato. En realidad una gran relación calidad-precio, especialmente por la calidad de la comida y el vino. El servicio desde el saludo a la llegada y durante toda la comida fue impecable. Definitivamente hecho para sentirse especial, pero todavía un ambiente agradable muy relajado. Absolutamente recomiendo una visita.

30/08/2025: Came here for a family lunch, and I simply can’t fault a single thing. From the high quality food to the fantastic service, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Although slightly on the pricier side, it is well worth the investment. The cocktails were delicious. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for such a lovely meal. Will certainly be back!

10/10/2025: Awful looking monstrosity..does not fit into local environment..Closed from April 2025 due to management issues..still closed as of October 2025

10/09/2025: Well, how can I put it, I'm disappointed. My two children and I took a short walk to visit the mosque. It was closed! A regular explained to me that there had been a problem with the administrative management of the place and that the Irish courts had decided to close the prayer space. Today, only the restaurant and the shop are open to the public.

17/10/2025: Cancelled delivery order after one hour waiting with no explanation. Edit. Delivery driver changed 3 times and was informed there many drivers waiting around not knowing what was going on. Better communication is needed.

12/10/2025: No matter who you are or where your from, you will always be welcomed, by both staff and patrons, you would enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and the patrons are not shy, they love having the crack,( laugh), and will get up and sing and dance, You wouldn't be left sitting on your own, for their Irish nature would welcome you into their company, and the stories they could tell you about their lives, they would have you in stitches laughing, but they would respect it if you just wanted to sit by yourself to have a quiet drink, they wouldn't take offence, they would just have their Irish friendly nature The owner and bar staff are the same, friendly welcoming, and treat everyone the same, whether your a local or visitor, many years ago I was a landlady of a bar, and had lots of staff, although some where good, but nothing compared to the staff they're, everyone if them are professional, friendly, and courteous, this is why the patrons respect them all, and it believe because of the staff, the pub is still in the area, where there were lots of pubs on that street and this is the only one that still remains open, I've seen people coming in that where either holiday makers or new to the area, that would pop in, intended just to have one drink to see what it was like, and they would end up staying for the night, they had that much fun, because of the staff and patrons down to earth personalities A good idea to try ring to find out what night they have entertainment, as you will certainly enjoy the atmosphere

20/09/2025: Good burrito. Expensive if you like to get all the toppings. Each topping it like another 0.70€ and my burrito was quite expensive.

16/09/2025: Super expensive for a mediocre Burrito. They show it as 9€ on their menu but tou gave to pay 2.7 for the beef inside, 1€ for veggies, 1.7 for guac and you end up with paying 18€ for a burrito with a soda...

27/10/2025: Food was excellent. Portions were very generous. Husband is a chef and usually prefers to cook himself rather than get takeaway, but even he said it was great and he is hard to please! Food arrived at nominated delivery time so overall 10/10 experience from Camille Walkinstown thank you 🙏🏻

24/10/2025: I stopped into Camile in Walkinstown for lunch and was really impressed! The lunch offer was great value, but the flavours were absolutely delicious. I had the crispy chilli chicken with fried rice and plenty of tender chicken coated in sweet chilli sauce with a nice sprinkle of sesame on top. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly balanced. The server was super friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for tasty, affordable Thai food in the area!
