28/04/2025: The best staff in Ireland! Coffee not bad either

24/04/2025: Regular here. Courtyard out back is nice when weather is good. Always busy which is a good sign, but the staff always handle it well. Coffee is always good.

17/04/2025: Smashing pub, I say pub as that’s what it is, go have a drink/sesh, I went alone and I was there with the locals no bother at all, had a laugh with them, the pub has a fast choice of drinks, and I say fair priced too

18/05/2025: I recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. It's a place where you just can't help but be. Fantastic architecture, every bar is different. Live music, hectoliters of beer, the buzz of people talking. It doesn't matter whether it's day or night, there's always something going on here. Lots of people and all sorts of events. I highly recommend a walk and a little something in this area.

10/05/2025: A very nice atmosphere, something different for a foreigner, but I recommend visiting it. You can enter, take photos without having a drink.

30/06/2025: Excellent coffee & snacks, with a nice seating area to relax in (weather permitting). Cakes, sandwiches etc will sell out though so get there early if you want to try them. Only shame is the opening hours, they close at 4pm daily which isn't too bad but can be disappointing when you'd like a coffee after work!

06/04/2025: Visited here as a solo traveller, in need of a "happy place". Staff very welcoming (lady) poured me an amazing pint of guiness pointed me to the big screen at the back. Shame the match was rubbish Lol. Front Bar nice, cosy and atmospheric

31/01/2025: We were welcomed by a wide selection of drinks and extremely friendly company. This is where we go in the evenings while we are in Dublin. Guinness on tap and Orchard Thieves rounded off our day.

02/06/2025: It's been a while since we ordered Indian take away. Went for the 'meal for two' deal. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Order was over an hour to arrive, dishes were cold and the starters and breads were wet after sitting in foil packaging for however long. Rice was cold also. Had to ping everything in the microwave.

22/07/2025: Lovely comfortable, elegant hostelry. Popular with locals and visitors. Service is great, staff are amazing, professional and friendly, really nice people. Highly recommend.

08/08/2025: Conveniently located near the airport hotels via a short cab ride, this spot was a pleasant surprise, especially with the added bonus of a kids’ menu. The atmosphere felt more like a local neighborhood pub; we visited in the mid-afternoon and as the locals started to arrive, it was clear this is a place where everyone knows each other. The food did not disappoint. The pizzas were excellent, and the ribs were absolutely delicious—tender and falling off the bone. There’s also a wide selection of drinks, all contributing to that classic English/Irish pub vibe. They also have some outstanding shakes and ice cream for desserts that you can order inside or via the outdoor window to enjoy while walking or hanging out outside.

10/06/2025: I’ve no idea why there isn’t reviews calling out the extortionate prices of a coffee from Mocha Beans?! I’m a regular Pearse commuter and sometimes give in to a coffee from here knowing… a small cappuccino with almond milk costs €5.20. That’s insane. Alt/ non dairy milk is either cheaper or soya milk is at least free in most coffee shops (albeit soya milk is pure gick). They charge 60c extra for all non-dairy milk. Base price for their smallest cappuccino is €4.60 which is still mad but base price in Dublin unfortunately. Think about it- 60c for coffee with non-dairy milk. Say a carton of non dairy milk would cover 15 coffees. That would round up the cost of one of their cartons of almond/ soya/ oat/ coconut milk to €9, A carton of these mills costs just over €3 and you can get cheaper with generic brands (which I’m sure mocha beans do). The mark up just for having non- dairy is robbery. I dunno if they count on people ignoring price as people on platform are often tired after a days work or tired first thing in morning after train but it’s crazy. The coffee is decent but not near other known vendors who get away with a coffee for over a fiver. Avoid avoid avoid no matter how much your commuter caffeine craving tells you otherwise

20/05/2025: Excellent service at Dublin Pearse St Station on the morning. All coffee just €3, made fresh. Only thing is it's a little too hot, but taste great after it cools. Has squid for loyalty taps which is nice. Good range of hot and cold food too.

21/07/2025: It’s definitely on the pricier side but considering it is located in a popular area, it isn’t surprising. The cocktails are lovely and very aesthetically appealing. The decor was what made us want to visit mostly, I enjoyed that they also have live music.

14/07/2025: The taste is very authentic, with the taste of home! The food is served very quickly. The environment is also very comfortable, the price-performance ratio is very high, and the location is easy to find. It is worth recommending!
