Stir Cafe

Dublin
12/10/2025: A decent and functional hotel. We had a triple room, which was a bit cramped, especially in terms of closet space. The bathroom could be improved. The hotel has good transport links.
10/10/2025: The hotel was conveniently located to several areas of interest. Close to the bus lines. Several eating and drinking areas near by. The rooms were clean and the staff attentive. Only negative was a fire alarm at 1 am, false alarm, not sure why it happened.

Morrison Grill, menu

Dublin
19/10/2025: A Delightful Dining Experience at Morrison Grill and Quay 14 Bar My partner and I had a memorable dining experience at the Morrison Grill, followed by drinks at the Quay 14 Bar. From the moment Lena and I arrived, we were greeted by the lovely staff, whose warm welcome set the tone for the evening. The food at Morrison Grill is absolutely delicious. Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing a delightful blend of flavours that cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you're a fan of hearty entrees or lighter fare, there's something for everyone to enjoy. After our meal, we headed to Quay 14 Bar for drinks. The bar offers a fantastic selection of beverages, making it the perfect spot to unwind and reflect on the wonderful dining experience. Overall, we highly recommend you to visit to both the Morrison Grill and Quay 14 Bar. With exceptional service, delectable food, tasty drinks and a welcoming ambiance, it's one Dublin dining establishment that you won't want to miss when you are visiting Dublin!
05/10/2025: Gay couple denied seating in Dining room, shunted to bar by hostess citing “it’s all reserved”. Nonsense.

Brewbaker Cafe

Dublin
06/10/2025: Well-priced, tasty food, and a generously sized pot of tea! The second time I visited, it took a little while to get served because of how busy it was in there (this is not at all a complaint, it's just how it goes sometimes), but the manager was very apologetic and even offered a complimentary drink to make up for it. This was not at all necessary, but it shows that they care about the customer experience here. The other staff members were also very friendly.
01/10/2025: The owner is so rude and uses foul language. The products are not safe, hygiene-wise. Be careful!

Stephen's Green Hibernian Club

Dublin
07/10/2025: The St. Stephen’s Green Club is a dream venue to work in. As a wedding florist, I’m always inspired by its old-world elegance, beautiful high ceilings, and rooms flooded with natural light — it’s a space that elevates every floral detail. There’s a wonderful sense of timeless sophistication here, yet it feels warm and welcoming at the same time. Set right on St. Stephen’s Green, it feels like you’re a million miles away from the bustle of the city, while still being right in the heart of Dublin — the best of both worlds. Every wedding I’ve worked on here has felt effortlessly stylish and full of charm. The staff are attentive and professional, and the setting provides a perfect canvas for couples who love that classic Dublin atmosphere with a touch of grandeur. If you’re dreaming of a romantic city wedding steeped in history and light, the St. Stephen’s Green Club is an absolute gem.
23/07/2025: Very elegant historical place to eat. The food was very good and plentiful while the staff was attentive.

10/12/2025: I'm so glad I was lucky enough to go into this place. I ate a hot dog and my mother had chicken wings. Delicious. I want to thank the cook, and the best part was being served by Carolina. A lovely person. Very kind. With wonderful service. Thank you.

Lockandbrew

Dublin
30/10/2025: Lock and brew is easily the best place in Ballyer for a breakfast or a lunch. Eggs benedict is the best around beating even 5 star hotels. Hashbrowns are a must. Get a peppercorn sauce to go with your chips. Lock and Brew style spice bag is a thing of beauty. My little lad loves the pancakes despite being a picky eater. Staff are always warm and welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough.
28/10/2025: Nice place. Clean. Staff very helpful. And the coffee is good!

Hardy's Bar

Dublin
30/11/2025: Disappointed, a supposedly 4-star hotel… All the facilities look like they've been frozen in time since 1995! Flickering lights, a musty smell, aging furniture… What a shame, it doesn't live up to the photos at all, and certainly not to the "4 stars" rating. Sad for an establishment with such a rich history…
30/11/2025: Our stay at the Royal Marine Hotel was extremely disappointing. We were woken at 9:50am by a fire alarm that stopped after about 1 minute with no explanation provided. We had paid €40 for a late check-out until 3pm, yet at 12:30pm reception called our room telling us to leave and housekeeping knocked on the door at the same time with the same instruction. I was asleep and both interruptions woke me up, despite the late check-out being clearly paid for. For a supposedly four star hotel, this level of organisation and communication is unacceptable. The experience felt chaotic and did not reflect the standard advertised. I would not recommend paying extra for late check-out here, as the hotel does not seem to honour it.
