21/01/2026: The lassi was thick and cold, and the chicken starter arrived charred from the flame, juicy and spiced just right. It was a good start. Not a small portion. Best shared. ​Then came palak paneer main course. It was perfect. The spinach was vibrant and smooth, the paneer firm but yielding. There is no better way to eat in Rathmines when the night is cold and the rain is steady. It is honest food, cooked with care. Five stars are not enough, but they are all I can give. ​ ​If you are looking for authentic flavor in Dublin, look no further. I started with a refreshing lassi and the chicken starter, which was seasoned to perfection and incredibly tender. ​The highlight, however, was the deliciously perfect palak paneer main course with garlic naan. The texture was spot on and the balance of spices was masterfully handled. It’s rare to find a dish this consistent and satisfying. Great service, warm atmosphere, and easily the best meal I've had in a long time. Highly recommended! And I have a take away box for tomorrow for lunch or dinner.

25/12/2025: This is an absolute gem and amazing for weekend breakfast. I tried their indori poha and aalo paratha which was delicious. This was the best poha I had in ireland. I will also try their egg pav and misal pav the next time. The service was amazing and quick. Taste was incredible and must visit place for an authentic indian food.

31/08/2025: Ordered for delivery and it was amazing! We got a pizza and a kebab, the pizza was so soft and fresh topped off with chicken, mushrooms, peppers, corn and ham it was delicious. Then we ordered a kebab and it was so tasteful and the food arrived still very warm which was a plus. Will definitely order again as it was quick and easy and staff was helpful explaining the different types of pizzas you can order. Highly recommend!!

30/08/2025: I ordered from this takeaway recently and was really impressed! The pizza was spot on – fresh, tasty, and with a nice crispy base. The kebab was packed with flavour, generous in portion, and really satisfying. The food was ready quickly, still hot when I picked it up, and the staff were friendly and polite. It’s definitely one of the best spots around for a quick, delicious meal. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

12/10/2025: No matter who you are or where your from, you will always be welcomed, by both staff and patrons, you would enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and the patrons are not shy, they love having the crack,( laugh), and will get up and sing and dance, You wouldn't be left sitting on your own, for their Irish nature would welcome you into their company, and the stories they could tell you about their lives, they would have you in stitches laughing, but they would respect it if you just wanted to sit by yourself to have a quiet drink, they wouldn't take offence, they would just have their Irish friendly nature The owner and bar staff are the same, friendly welcoming, and treat everyone the same, whether your a local or visitor, many years ago I was a landlady of a bar, and had lots of staff, although some where good, but nothing compared to the staff they're, everyone if them are professional, friendly, and courteous, this is why the patrons respect them all, and it believe because of the staff, the pub is still in the area, where there were lots of pubs on that street and this is the only one that still remains open, I've seen people coming in that where either holiday makers or new to the area, that would pop in, intended just to have one drink to see what it was like, and they would end up staying for the night, they had that much fun, because of the staff and patrons down to earth personalities A good idea to try ring to find out what night they have entertainment, as you will certainly enjoy the atmosphere

02/11/2025: Nice staff and service but a trad group essentially displaced us by slowly moving into our seats, shoving our belongings down and eventually telling us to move so we had to leave despite being customers for a couple of hours. Beware of this if you’re a younger person, it felt territorial

07/12/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but this place is a real gem! Best Italian restaurant in Dublin I would say! Discovered it by coincidence even though I am living next door. Visited twice and both were amazing experiences. I tried there steak, pizza, and pasta. All were great, and the tagliatelle with chicken and wild mushroom is highly recommended!

11/01/2026: My experience is in relation to Avoca, not this store specifically. I ordered a Christmas hamper online and it never arrived. I have emailed three times, tried chat support, and tried calling multiple times and left a voicemail with head office explaining the situation and asking them to ring me. No one has responded to me and it is now 3 weeks since my order (I paid extra for 1-2 day delivery).

29/12/2025: Avoca restaurant has changed a lot since changing ownership. The menu is very disappointing. The food we ordered was just ok. Limp Caesar salad was the lowlight along with seafood spice bag. Would not recommend. Even the tea and coffee’s were disappointing. Will not be returning.

09/11/2025: A very beautiful masjid with all modern facilities in Dublin 14. I prayed here constantly for 10 years, a very blessed masjid. May Allah swt preserve the ICCI masjid always!
