20/08/2025: It’s an old pub. I’ve been going here for 30 years, every time I’m in town. I go for one reason and one reason only; they serve Beamish not far from the Guinness Brewery. I respect that.

19/08/2025: I have being drinking in this Pub from 1967-1988 and when on holidays in Dublin its my No1 Stop. Many happy memories of the evenings there for a few Guinness after work, just to let the traffic ease before headinh home. Cheers to all. Had an Old Comrades meeting there 2 years ago.

10/10/2025: I visited Bunsen Blanchardstown on Friday evening (October 10th), and despite the place being incredibly busy with people constantly queuing, the experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing girls working on the floor. There were only three staff members managing all the tables and service, yet they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was looked after. They were constantly on the move, multitasking minute after minute, all while staying friendly, calm, and professional. The food was, as always, top quality fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to the girl working Friday evening, dark hair in two braids, wearing a North Face T-shirt, she was an absolute Wonder Woman, absolutely incredible! So kind, attentive, and hardworking. She truly deserves recognition for how well she handled the chaos. But let’s be clear, the owners and upper management should be ashamed. Having only three staff on the floor and three in the kitchen for such a busy location is completely unacceptable. The fact that these workers are forced to carry the entire operation while management sits back and lets it happen is disgraceful. Bunsen has built a great name for its food and service, but that reputation doesn’t come from the owners, it comes from the incredible frontline staff who are being stretched to their limits. These girls aren’t just doing their jobs; they’re saving your brand every single shift.

10/10/2024: Devastated to say after five years of just loving this place, I passed by last night and it has permanently closed. What a great crew and super neighbourhood restaurant. Gutted. It seems increasingly impossible to run a business in Dublin due to runaway costs.

18/08/2024: Estuve aquí antes y tuvimos una comida maravillosa y experiencia. Decidió ir de nuevo y ¿sabes qué? Absolutamente aún mejor! Tuve un. Plato de pasta de cangrejo y gambas que era fantástico mientras que mi esposa tenía pollo que era suculento. Los precios son muy justos y no desorbitados. Esta es una joya de un restaurante que hace todo bien con un gran servicio y excelente comida. Chef podría ganar Masterchef. Volveremos pronto. Muy, muy recomendable.

29/08/2025: I was overcharged extortionately for trying to buy a piece of bread and a drink for the homeless lady outside. I got questioned for helping her because they've 'seen her out there before'- not to mention she was an elderly blind lady. No help or kindness from the woman serving, I couldn't believe it.

04/09/2025: Been goin here for years now years mostly midday/lunchtime. Food has always been tops, staff have always been brilliant. Service is second to none and food is reasonably priced.

31/08/2025: 10/10 for the carvery. As a Culchie living in Terenure who loves a Sunday roast dinner, I only discovered this place today. Dinner was good, beef was tender and was given generous slices. Spuds, stuffing, gravy all good. Yes the place is a bit dated and could do with a revamp, but I was only there for food and it was good. Will be back. Parking not an issue, huge carpark.

06/10/2025: Well-priced, tasty food, and a generously sized pot of tea! The second time I visited, it took a little while to get served because of how busy it was in there (this is not at all a complaint, it's just how it goes sometimes), but the manager was very apologetic and even offered a complimentary drink to make up for it. This was not at all necessary, but it shows that they care about the customer experience here. The other staff members were also very friendly.
