16/07/2026: A lovely Irish watering hole in the heart of the city with a reasonable selection of both wet goods and snacks - and at affordable prices. Here you can also hear live music, watch sports on the big screen and borrow a card game at the bar. 🍻

16/07/2026: Came to Turks Head last night for a drink after work, the place was unbelievable! I really cannot stress enough how lovely the bartenders treated me. But I really want to point out the security guard on Wednesday night and Dylan on Thursday night, absolutely brilliant! Great lads and what I see in most bars these days from security is just a power trip! 100% recommend! Thank you all

08/09/2026: I would like to say a very special thank you to the Manager and Staff at The Laurels in Perrystown. On Sunday, I came in to the Laurels after badly scalding my hand and was quite distressed. From the moment I arrived, the Manager, unfortunately, I don't know his name and staff were absolutely wonderful. They immediately came to my assistance and treated me with such genuine kindness, care and concern. At a moment when I really needed help, they went above and beyond for me. It says so much about the people who work at The Laurels that they didn't hesitate to step in and take care and assist me. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped me that day. Your kindness meant more than you probably realise, and I won't forget it. A wonderful team and a wonderful local pub. Thank you all so very much.

07/09/2026: First time here. Popped in at lunchtime just for a sandwich and coffee. Staff extremely friendly and give a great welcome. The food and coffee were excellent. Saw a customer getting the roast beef and veg and it was huge. I heard tell his colleague that it was delicious and very tender. A bit of a smell in the gents. However, will add this establishments to my list of places to revisit.

30/08/2026: One of the best places I tasted shawarma of all kinds was delicious and had its own flavor. The sandwich was full of meat or chicken with their own sauce A meal for children was delicious and enough for two children I highly recommend it

26/08/2026: I had lunch with a friend here a few days ago and it was good! The portion size is decent for the price, one of the staff came in with his glasses with flash on and asked how the food was, and after we answered he asked if we're cool with being recorded. I do not have an issue with it but he should've asked this question BEFORE recording people coz it feels like he put us on the spot. Other than that, he was a nice guy, good service. You have to pay at the counter after you're done and I didn't feel like anyone was rushing us to leave which is always good to experience in such a busy side of town.

20/07/2026: was here for world cup finale and the staff handled adverse circumstances very admirably. shoutout evan(?) who was working bar alone upstairs, he was efficient and also friendly, total champion. not to mention extremely reasonable prices for draught. definitely will be back!

15/07/2026: Nice Irish pub, good atmosphere, quickly met locals, everyone was very nice.

04/09/2026: Pleasant meal and waiter. Greeted from the dock entrance and when we entered the dining area. Wish the fries were larger with the fish and chips. Slighly limited menu. Our meals were expertly prepared and presented. Wish we had the space to enjoy one or more of the desserts

13/08/2026: Genuinely the worst place in Dublin I've been, so dirty and all of the staff are so so rude!

04/07/2026: We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The waiter and the manager were very rude to us. They were extremely impolite and made us feel unwelcome. Customer service was very disappointing. We expected to be treated with respect, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Because of this experience, we would not recommend this restaurant.

08/06/2026: Just to be clear, this is a nightclub with a hotel side hustle. We were greeted by a bouncer that asked us if we were “in the right area?”The entrance is in the nightclub vestibule, so we naturally looked out of place. After we clarified that we were staying at the hotel, he let us in. We then proceeded to be told by the Manager that our reservation did not exist, and that we could not be staying at the hotel because the entire hotel was closed due to renovations. I proceeded to show the manager our booking, confirmation, and our prepaid €800 bill. After this irrefutable evidence that we had booked a room months in advance, he then randomly “found” a room for us and let us through. Upon settling in our rooms we realized that there were no renovations at all, as well as other guests at the hotel. Our friends waited hours for extra sheets, neither of our rooms had coffee pods for the coffee machines in the room, and ours had a used pod in the machine. Coming back a day later from being out and about in Dublin our room keys no longer worked. The manager lied directly to our faces, for that sole reason I would not stay here under any circumstance.

03/09/2026: Friendly staff. We had a delightful cup of tea and shared a flapjack. Then we bought some loose leaf tea to take home. We will be back!

31/08/2026: Really nice service, everyone was helpful. The coffee tastes great, there’s a lot of options and the prices are nice for the location. A lot of space to get seated, though sometimes it’s a bit crowdy.

26/08/2026: This is a review update from my previous post where I suggested a few minor improvements, with my feedback being fully received by the owners and the team. I'm really happy to say that everything's back to perfect now. The service, the team working behind it, the quality of food, and its value are simply among the best in Dublin. You've got to try everything they have on the menu! From great burgers, each with its own style, to fantastic fries and chicken tenders (habanero peach and lemon pepper are my favourites!), there's plenty to choose from. I keep saying those are the best you'll be able to find anywhere around. Worth travelling there for a meal!
