The best restaurants in Dublin

15/03/2026: Update: 15/03/2026 A couple of years since I was last in Salamanca and unfortunately the only thing that has changed is the date. Also, ditch the mussels or change the sauce. 2024: Had great memories of this restaurant, its tapas were always fresh and full of flavour. Today it was like a faint echo of itself, similar menu items which, while they were ok, suffered in comparison to their predecessors.

14/03/2026: It's nice to see my city's name around the world. A good place to enjoy myself and feel a little closer to home. The meat and appetizers were delicious. The paella could be better. Around €23 per person (2024) ---+--- The second time wasn't as good as the first. Bread with sauces: only the tapenade was tasty, the romesco was terrible, and the mojo was nowhere near as good as the Canarian one. Chicken in Ximenez sauce was more garlicky than anything else. Octopus was mediocre and a bit chewy. Stuffed peppers were tasty and plentiful. Ham croquettes could be better, but they were good. Seafood paella was terrible; the use of canned goods gave it a vinegary taste. The black pudding was okay. Considering it was tapas, the whole feast cost €100. I hope they improve in terms of quality and flavor next time, as well as the price. (2026)

24/07/2025: I ordered a pitta kebab and it was very good. The pitta bread was very fresh. I really recommend it.

21/07/2025: The best pizza what we ever ate. Food is lovely. Only what I didn't like.... I would like more salad in kebab( last time I didn't get any tomato, got only bit iceberg lettuce an was bit too dry) I got charged more for 3 kebabs than it said on the poster. For me those 3 extra euros means a lot on those days. Anyways I'll come back again

12/03/2026: Food was delicious. Service excellent and friendly and atmosphere buzzy. Will visit again when next in Dublin. When booking its better to phone and give credit card details as online booking is slightly more complicated. The last action of putting in code to check credit card would not connect.

08/03/2026: Do not order delivery from this shop. I ordered food which took 2 hours to arrive. Every 30 mins or so I would ring up to ask for an ETA. They would always say 'in a few minutes', and then nothing would happen for the next half hour. When the food finally did arrive, at this point it was too late to eat it, and it was of course completely cold - they didn't even re-do it in the kitchen. At one point, the manager said 'ok, this is getting ridiculous, please wait 3 minutes and I will do it myself'. 10 minutes later, I rang him back, and he said that the driver was struggling to find it - essentially, he lied to me about doing it himself. To make matters worse, I was only a 5 minute walk from the restaurant. I ordered a delivery because I was working from home and needed the extra time (vs sitting in the restaurant), assuming that it would arrive quickly enough given the short distance. I may as well have been in Belfast given how long it took to arrive. Eventually, I just went to the restaurant myself to pick up the food. I had already offered to do this 2x times over the past 2 hours, but for some reason they insisted that the driver was 'nearly there' and so I shouldn't come. Maybe they were just having a bad night, but the sheer lack of integrity is startling. When I arrived in the restaurant, the proposed solution from the manager was 2 cans of san pellegrino and a few euro coins dumped in the takeaway bag. I asked for a full refund, and they tried to negotiate a 50% refund. I explained to them that I would just do a chargeback instead and get 100%, because in no world would I want to pay 60 euros for some cold pizzas and starters that came out of the oven 2.5 hours ago. The wait time alone should have been enough to justify a refund, let alone the food. Maybe this is a nice restaurant to eat in, but I will never be ordering from them again and am still baffled at how much of an ordeal could be made out of an evening meal. This was my first experience of them and I was so shocked at their modus operandi that I was almost amused. EDIT following the owner's reply - this is complete nonsense, I told them the correct address, and they had multiple opportunities to rectify this issue, since every 30 mins I rang them up to confirm what was going on. There is no excuse for this, even the duplicity of this reply shows their approach to dealing with customers - and it also does not explain how the delivery could possibly have arrived 2.5 hours late! They would never accept an order for such distance since the delivery economics do not make sense. What a shambles.

02/12/2025: Vibrant food market with a welcoming, communal atmosphere. It’s lively yet not chaotic, allowing visitors to explore comfortably. The variety of food stalls, casual seating and upbeat energy make it a perfect spot for quick bites or a relaxed afternoon of tasting and wandering.

19/11/2025: The atmosphere and the service was great. The coffee was excellent. The chocolate croissants tasted like it was from yesterday even though I came early in the morning.

13/09/2025: I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Smaczne To Go, and I must say it turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. 22/03/2026: A good Italian restaurant. The first courses are well-made, the pasta cooked al dente, and the sauces aren't too spicy. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are friendly. Recommended.

22/03/2026: Missing the authenticity. Food was ok, service not too good. Neither service nor cooks are Italian at least did not even greet in Italian. Wines were sold out and they tried to sell us the most expensive. Upon claiming that they somehow „found“ another bottle of the requested. It was also very bright illuminated and not very cozy. Not what we are used to by an Italian restaurant.

19/09/2025: I had a great experience at this bubble tea shop Ea-Tea! The staff were really nice and very accommodating, always ready with recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised by their dim sum menu — delicious, fresh, and such a good complement to the drinks. Everything is fairly priced, which is quite unusual in Dublin these days where prices are generally high. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit! 💯❤️

09/09/2025: I love Taro tea but not many Tea places does it that taste good. This is one of the few! I usually go to my "reliable bubble tea shop" but decided to try this one for a change and it didn't disappoint. I've stopped there with my two little kids and as it was lunch time we got some chichen pop corn and chips as well with our Taro bubble teas. Chicken is super delicious! What a treat and surprise. We liked so much we got more to take home as the ration is good for one person and we are three so we kinda fought a bit over that chicken 😂 There are few tables inside for a quick stop and snack and it's just on front of Parnell Luas stop. Staff are also welcoming and friendly. My son says the man in the counter looks like one of the guys in Demon K-pop Hunter but I'm not sure about that or who 😅 He also says he wants to come back again. And we will!

14/12/2025: Was there last night for there Xmas show. The Born Identity,Abba tribute, and Dame Scruffy great night band were excellent, drag artist was also super.

07/12/2025: I hosted my baby shower at Red Cow inn and it was fantastic! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed to make the day special. Even though I set up everything myself, the venue made it easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend it for anyone planning a celebration! With booking they were very informative and got back to me quickly, i cant recommend them more!

29/11/2025: Could not of had a better experience. I came in for gait analysis and new trainers. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to size up my feet by just looking. He recommended an excellent pair of runners which already make running feel alot more stable and comfortable along with some great general running advice. Could not recommend enough I will be back.

18/12/2025: Were there on a Sunday night. Guy behind the bar was very pushy for us to order two wing deals when we only wanted one to start with. We overheard him instruct the kitchen staff to make our buffalo wing portion extra, extra spicy, and that we had asked for that - we hadn't - and called us names to the kitchen staff that I won't repeat here. He clearly didn't realise we could hear him, he did seem a bit drunk. I regularly eat very hot sauces with Carolina Reaper or ghost chilli, but the portion we got was extremely hot and borderline inedible. Not blaming the kitchen staff at all, they seemed like they didn't want to make the dish so spicy, but the bar man pushed them to do it. When we asked him if he had ordered them extra hot for us he made up some BS story about other customers complaining that they used to be too mild, and that's why they are now hotter, etc. Very disrespectful and hostile way to treat your customers. None of us will ever be back.

30/11/2025: Lovely vibe! Not much of loud music soo if you want to get together with friends and have conversations over a pint, definitely the place!
