Boojum

Dublin
19/05/2026: Didn't expect this place to have the best burritos/tacos I've had since moving to Ireland but very pleasantly surprised! The staff are nice and answered customer questions about options/ingredients, they had a good selection, and very reasonably priced for a downtown spot with great portions and fresh food. The vibe/format is Build Your Own burrito/bowl/tacos with a few standard builds you can just pick from - kind of a less corporate Chipotle but better food. It's maybe not the most authentic, but it has a nice enough TexMex vibe you can get at plenty of joints in the U.S. It made me miss home. Will definitely be back!
14/05/2026: Awful service, will do every take away order before you and waited 15 mins even no queue, nobody acknowledges you - they close the seating and toilet 30 mins before closing so they can all get off as soon as they close and it’s run by young kids evidently.

Masala

Dublin
12/02/2026: Absolutely the best Indian TAKEAWAY Fresh ingredients. Perfect flavour. True Indian and also great for butter chicken lovers like me . Tried and tested over 5 years. The portions of popadoms are huge and come with dips. It’s the same price as anywhere but the quality across the menu is superb. I’ve travelled a long way home for this treat!! The food is SO DESERVING of the 5 stars!!! Also the delivery chap is always very friendly and quick. Food piping hot .
10/02/2026: Great food and excellent service. I tried the lamb biryani and it was amazing, and their naan breads are absolutely outstanding. Very nice.

Kaph

Dublin
21/11/2025: A small upstairs cafe that serves consistently strong coffee with a slightly artistic feel. The space is cosy and calm, perfect for reading or light work. Their almond croissants are a nice treat. A reliable stop if you appreciate simple, quality-focused cafés.
20/11/2025: A sleek, modern café right in the city centre with consistently good brews. The place stays lively without feeling chaotic. They always maintain quality, even during busy hours. Nice spot to recharge between errands or sit quietly with a pastry and coffee.

Avoca Suffolk Street

Dublin
11/01/2026: My experience is in relation to Avoca, not this store specifically. I ordered a Christmas hamper online and it never arrived. I have emailed three times, tried chat support, and tried calling multiple times and left a voicemail with head office explaining the situation and asking them to ring me. No one has responded to me and it is now 3 weeks since my order (I paid extra for 1-2 day delivery).
29/12/2025: Avoca restaurant has changed a lot since changing ownership. The menu is very disappointing. The food we ordered was just ok. Limp Caesar salad was the lowlight along with seafood spice bag. Would not recommend. Even the tea and coffee’s were disappointing. Will not be returning.

Il Valentino Bakery & Cafe

Dublin
20/11/2025: Tainá and staff was very nice and very professional with us, and her smile and enthusiasm was great. We would love to go back with family and friends and have another cake.
16/11/2025: Continues to disappoint with the worst flat white. Been a loyal and constant customer of this place for about a year. While the pastries are lovely, and the staff is friendly, the flat whites I’ve been getting here became just terrible and not up to any standard. Not worth paying 4EUR for a coffee with milk that I can make myself at home. Cant give no more than one star and will look for another place.

Asador

Dublin
02/05/2026: Down from Donegal for a midweek gig. We had been recommended Asador by a friend. My significant other is a pescetarian and loved the look of the non meat elements on the menu so we thought we'd give it a go. Firstly, we were eating early so had the place to ourselves to begin with, and how lucky we were as the staff were SO friendly. Food wise we shared 3 small plates and had a main dish each. We went Porcini orzo, Cabbage and Crab for the small plates. All incredible but the standout was the cabbage! I don't know what witchcraft they worked on it but it was as far from the vegetable of my childhood that it's possible to get. For mains we went Swordfish and Monkfish. The Swordfish was the best I've eaten and the Monkfish was shown no mercy either. We had a smoked tenderstem broccoli side which was also superb. For dessert we shared the basque cheesecake which made me wish I'd the room to eat it all myself. Then to finish we had 2 coffees which was the best coffee I've drunk in a very long time. Maybe if you read this review you can tell me what coffee you served us? We also loved the quirky prints on the wall. Thank you to all of you for making us feel so welcome. It was the perfect start to a great night. I am counting the days until I get back to try the meat! Big love!
25/04/2026: Exceptionally high standard of Barbecue. The seafood is just top drawer. Great friendly helpful service. My second time here and honestly one of my favourite restaurants.

Lisboa Pastelaria

Dublin
02/11/2025: Food was pretty decent and a pretty reasonable price. My sandwich only had a single slice of bacon in it but was delicious nonetheless. Newt was over the moon with his beef sandwich and we both enjoyed the pastel de nata, newt was very happy to have a vegan option and I enjoyed my raspberry one. I think my iced chai came from a powder but then I can’t expect a Portuguese cafe to be the experts in chai can I?
31/10/2025: Good not great. I got a chai, the chorizo and cheese sandwich and a chocolate pastel de nata all for €16. Not bad for the price. However the sandwich size was small and could’ve been filled with more chorizo, and the chai was much too milky. The pastel de nata was good! I liked the chocolate touch. The sides were a wee bit burnt, but that’s okay, it was nothing major. Atmosphere was cute and nice for a quick lil solo coffee date, glad I went, but would probably only go back for a pastry

Nando's

Dublin
06/05/2026: Excellent experience at Nando’s Liffey Valley 🔥🍗 This is easily one of the best-managed Nando’s locations we’ve visited in the Dublin area. From the moment we walked in, everything felt clean, organized, and welcoming — a restaurant that clearly takes pride in both its food and customer experience. The meal was fantastic. The PERi-PERi hot wings were full of bold flavor with just the right kick, and paired perfectly with the wide selection of sauces on the table, letting everyone customize their meal to their liking. The spicy rice was flavorful and well-seasoned, the garlic bread was warm and delicious, and the mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and comforting — a perfect side to round out the meal. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The staff were courteous, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making sure everything was right and that guests were well looked after. That kind of hospitality always elevates the experience. The restaurant itself is spotless, with convenient in-house restrooms and a location that’s easy to access right near the entrance of Liffey Valley, with coffee shops and other stops nearby — making it a great place to enjoy a meal and continue your outing afterward. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with excellent food, strong service, and a well-run atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful chicken in a comfortable, welcoming setting.
03/05/2026: We went as a family of 4 along with 2 kids for a dinner during weekday, no wait time..food was awesome, nice atmosphere and service.my kids love Nandos food.
