The best restaurants in Dublin

16/09/2026: Got a take-away roll this afternoon. Felt it was thrown together without even as much as a smile. Bread far from fresh. Will be sticking to SuperValu in future.

30/08/2026: Visited during the Lobster Festival. The lobster rolls from here are better than the street vendors outside because the buns are better. There's sitting upstairs which was convenient. Didn't enjoy the cookie because it was too hard, but that's because I'm still learning the cookies culture of Ireland. Not the bakery's fault.

26/08/2026: This is a review update from my previous post where I suggested a few minor improvements, with my feedback being fully received by the owners and the team. I'm really happy to say that everything's back to perfect now. The service, the team working behind it, the quality of food, and its value are simply among the best in Dublin. You've got to try everything they have on the menu! From great burgers, each with its own style, to fantastic fries and chicken tenders (habanero peach and lemon pepper are my favourites!), there's plenty to choose from. I keep saying those are the best you'll be able to find anywhere around. Worth travelling there for a meal!

23/08/2026: Wings and tenders, curly fries, tater tots are all nice and flavorful 💥 Burgers and plain fries aren't the best though

25/08/2026: I visited Passion4Food Ongar today and ordered two Chicken Doner Kebabs to take away. When I got home, I noticed on the receipt that I had also been charged €2 for a Coke Zero, even though I had not ordered or received one. I recommend checking your receipt carefully before leaving.

26/07/2026: I've had a grand stay at Bracken Court Hotel, i would like to thank Tommy & all his staff for making me more than welcome. The food is lovely, the rooms are lovely and all the staff have been very polite 100%. Thank you all. Clive.

14/04/2026: This review is for the dining experience: We booked an "afternoon tea" for two. The set up was absolutely delightful and area that the "afternoon tea" was served in was perfect for dining with two children as space was spacious yet pretty private, so kids had room to move freely and didn't bother anyone. I would definitely book that area for dining with kids next time again and I must say that hotel staff are definitely very kids friendly. Everything on the platter was tasty, tea and coffee hot and strong. We had a walk through restaurant and bar and all seemed very clean. We will definitely be back, with kids as they had a lovely time.

18/08/2026: Went to Brady’s recently with my brother for a quick dinner. The food was delicious and the service was great. Would recommend a visit!

21/08/2026: Went in for lunch on Friday at 12 noon ish. We got the roast turkey and the fish and chips and all was absolutely beautiful. It had a nice atmosphere, not too crowded and not too quiet. We'll be back thanks so much

07/09/2026: Since the pandemic prices have increased (to be expected) and portion sizes have got smaller. The food now is fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant needs to be upfront in their advertising about the fact that there is no dedicated fryer if people opt for "gluten free batter." There is no mention of this on the website nor on the menu. A minority of people with non-celiac gluten intolerance may be able to tolerate that level of cross contamination, but most cannot.

20/07/2026: was here for world cup finale and the staff handled adverse circumstances very admirably. shoutout evan(?) who was working bar alone upstairs, he was efficient and also friendly, total champion. not to mention extremely reasonable prices for draught. definitely will be back!

18/08/2026: One of the nicest coffee shops I've been in. Nice coffee at a reasonable price. Worth a visit. Unfortunately I had to get a takeaway will defo drop in again. 5 stars!

13/08/2026: Extremely friendly staff, very good food, and very nice atmosphere. At first, I was worried going down to the basement, but it is an absolutely light and convenient place, very good atmosphere. I highly recommend. Probably you will need to pre-book.

04/09/2026: Pleasant meal and waiter. Greeted from the dock entrance and when we entered the dining area. Wish the fries were larger with the fish and chips. Slighly limited menu. Our meals were expertly prepared and presented. Wish we had the space to enjoy one or more of the desserts

13/08/2026: Genuinely the worst place in Dublin I've been, so dirty and all of the staff are so so rude!

12/07/2026: Used the parking for an event in the Aviva. Super handy!

31/07/2026: Visited your bar near Heuston after getting off the train, and it was a mistake. The guy serving drinks clearly has no business working as a bartender—he belongs behind a döner counter. I ordered a drink, paid, and didn’t tip. The look he gave me was purely hostile and uncalled for. If your staff can’t accept a plain bill without throwing a tantrum, maybe they should switch to serving street food instead of proper drinks. Zero professionalism. Won't be coming back.

18/06/2026: Pleasant clubby room with banquettes and a few low sofas. Good, prompt service and helpful wait staff. Varied menu covers European and other cuisines such as a rich Irish fish chowder, crispy tofu salad with falafel, burgers, large variety of draft beers and Irish whiskies. Very relaxing place.

27/07/2026: This place is not that good, you can get a similar donut at Centra for a 1/4 of the price.

21/06/2026: The customer service was great. However the donuts were dry and not what I would expect of newly and "home made" donuts. Personally Id not purchase again, unless super sugary donuts with a dry surface is ur thing😂
