Haddington House
Dublin
11/12/2025: Enjoyed a superb evening away a real treat close to the city , we had an amazing room with incredible views, delicious food and quality service throughout , a hidden gem!
10/11/2025: From the moment of booking, EVERYTHING with our Haddington House experience was flawless.
Ayesha and Sinead were fabulous with the pre-arrival plans. And going out of their way to make our stay really memorable.
When we arrived, Flako, Elena and a lady manager (owner?) were so welcoming, professional, warm and generally - fabulous☺️
Our room was exceptional. With SO many lovely, lovely touches. The quality of the decor, fixtures and fittings is just next level. Not to even mention that view☺️
The food, and especially the breakfast, and the breakfast team, were of the absolute highest quality.
Generally our stay in the Haddington House exceeded any possible expectations and delivered an exceptional experience. 10/5

Couple of Coffees
Dublin
30/11/2025: Found this place by chance just walking around.
Great breakfast and great place to stay.
To try
22/08/2025: Nice coffee, fair prices and a nice setting. My only issue is the service.. the lads take one persons order at a time (even if you order one Americano … they will take payment and make the Americano start to finish before speaking to the next person) it slows things down a lot when the next person in line may also just like one coffee.

Note Dublin
Dublin
23/07/2025: I have been going to this restaurant/wine bar since it opened. It has gotten better and better. The menu is always exceptional and ever changing. Its perfect for foodies, but the menu isn't pretentious and has so many gastro delights, it really is for everyone. The Staff are so nice and the music is perfect. However, I do agree with the other reviews that the pricing is a little higher, particularly on the entrees.
14/07/2025: The food is excellent. This restaurant is worthy of a gourmet restaurant. The waitresses were very patient despite our hesitations. While in Dublin, I hope to return to this establishment one day. Delicious desserts!!!

Pip's Deli
Dublin
21/11/2025: Recently I ordered a salad, and it was incredibly disappointing. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even bite it, and most of the box was just onions. There were only a few tomatoes and one very little of lettuce. That’s it. And they charged €6.50 for the box. There was basically nothing to eat it was really bad.
03/11/2025: My go to whenever I'm back in Dublin. Staff are always so friendly, real Dubs a heart of the community. I'm a scaldy Corkonian and introduced people in the area I stay with to go there for our cures when I visit after living around the corner.
Always meet the standards of what you want with attention to detail, great value and service.

ZOUQ
Dublin
24/03/2026: the staff was very friendly and the service was good as well and even the hygiene wasn’t a problem, but the food was terrible, tasteless, nothing had spices or traditional pakistani taste, everything was sweet instead of savoury, but it’s still called pakistani cuisine, should be white cuisine instead
22/03/2026: Excellent break fast experience as always. Thank you all of you!

Monto Cafe
Dublin
22/03/2026: Missing the authenticity.
Food was ok, service not too good.
Neither service nor cooks are Italian at least did not even greet in Italian.
Wines were sold out and they tried to sell us the most expensive. Upon claiming that they somehow „found“ another bottle of the requested.
It was also very bright illuminated and not very cozy.
Not what we are used to by an Italian restaurant.
22/03/2026: A good Italian restaurant. The first courses are well-made, the pasta cooked al dente, and the sauces aren't too spicy. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are friendly. Recommended.

The Cake Cafe
Dublin
11/01/2026: Great little gem out the back entrance of a wonderfully chaotic second hand bookshop. The cakes were delicious and the staff helped create a friendly atmosphere. Note: it’s better to enter through the bookshop over the strange back alley route.
23/12/2025: A truly special, tucked-away cafe with gorgeous cakes and scones and other treats baked on site. Food portions are large, hospitality is warm and generous, and it's a peaceful spot to spend an afternoon. Abundant courtyard seating (with heaters) for the warmly dressed (my first visit was in December). Highly recommended for people who want a Dublin oasis within an easy walk of Grafton/St. Stephen's/etc.
Also of note: While the cafe has been in business for a couple of decades, it changed hands this year and the new owner, Julio, was on site, very warmly welcoming, and seems to have a happy staff working for him.
UPDATE: Just noting after several more visits that my first impression has only cemented into a conviction that this is a world-class cafe and people who take the time to seek it out will leave feeling like the luckiest and best-liked customers who have ever visited.

Kfc
Dublin
18/03/2026: There's not enough space, so you're forced to eat quickly and leave. Besides, the guard is always in a bad mood and has little patience.
17/03/2026: The best KFC in the city center

Wilde & Green
Dublin
20/11/2025: Wilde and Green in Milltown is one of those places that seems to have been designed by someone with excellent taste and absolutely no interest in where you’re supposed to park your car. You arrive hungry, optimistic, and ready for lunch, only to find a small car park across the road that appears to operate on a first come, first serve, and good-luck-to-you system. There are, technically, two spaces outside, but they are about as attainable as front-row tickets to a sold-out gig.
Once you manage to wedge your vehicle somewhere within the general postcode, however, things take a turn for the better.
I went in with my uncle for an early lunch. He ordered the breakfast sandwich, I took the chicken sandwich, and both arrived pre-made but warmed up to a level that, against all odds, actually works. My uncle then demolished a scone with the enthusiasm of a man who has found his true calling. The coffees followed: he became an instant devotee of their cappuccinos, while I stuck with an americano that did exactly what it was supposed to do without making a fuss about it.
The staff were sound, friendly, and helpful in the kind of effortless way that makes you forgive nearly anything. They’ve also got a gourmet range of bits you can take home, all of which look dangerously tempting, especially if you're the type who shouldn’t be trusted with a credit card while hungry.
In the end, Wilde and Green is one of those spots that would be almost perfect if someone could simply magic twenty extra parking spaces into existence. But once you’re inside, with a warm sandwich, a good coffee, and the faint smell of baked goods calling your name, you forget the minor battle you had outside.
Worth a visit. Just bring patience for the parking.
18/11/2025: Only outdoor dining and not serving breakfast despite being the board
