The best restaurants in Dublin

15/03/2026: Update: 15/03/2026 A couple of years since I was last in Salamanca and unfortunately the only thing that has changed is the date. Also, ditch the mussels or change the sauce. 2024: Had great memories of this restaurant, its tapas were always fresh and full of flavour. Today it was like a faint echo of itself, similar menu items which, while they were ok, suffered in comparison to their predecessors.

14/03/2026: It's nice to see my city's name around the world. A good place to enjoy myself and feel a little closer to home. The meat and appetizers were delicious. The paella could be better. Around €23 per person (2024) ---+--- The second time wasn't as good as the first. Bread with sauces: only the tapenade was tasty, the romesco was terrible, and the mojo was nowhere near as good as the Canarian one. Chicken in Ximenez sauce was more garlicky than anything else. Octopus was mediocre and a bit chewy. Stuffed peppers were tasty and plentiful. Ham croquettes could be better, but they were good. Seafood paella was terrible; the use of canned goods gave it a vinegary taste. The black pudding was okay. Considering it was tapas, the whole feast cost €100. I hope they improve in terms of quality and flavor next time, as well as the price. (2026)

09/04/2026: I first discovered their food a few months ago in Polski Shop where they were selling. Delicious pork. Used to get portions most days for 5€. Then they stopped and I had to go to their restaurant and they still gave me pork for the same price. Then they said I would need to buy the full main course for 18€. It's not worth the price. Also they offer no butter when they give you bread. A can of Red Bull costs over €4 too. Staff not friendly here. I won't be returning. Only wanted to have the pork.

12/03/2026: Always ask before how much it will cost, otherwise you will pay a lot (waiting to pay after the meal)!

18/07/2025: I come here very often and buy two of my favorite bakery items an Almond Croissant and Chocolate Orange Cake

03/07/2025: Nice bakery and pastry shop in Stoneybatter, lovely almond croissants, beautiful sourdough loafs and nice Toastie or pre made rolls. Highly recommend

22/03/2026: My recommendation is not to stay in this hotel or not to support this hotel in any way. It has 2 floors open to the public the rest of the hotel is for the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS). Such a pity I used to love this hotel and its location for work purposes. Very sad to see it operating in this fashion - taking taxpayers money etc.

15/03/2026: Held event & team were amazing. The room is big without being too big. A lot nicer than standard conference room you get in hotel.

01/01/2026: The staff was very polite especially the girl who made reservation for us. Loved the mango lassi. Butter chicken was not as good and the quantity was meagre. Sev puri felt dry. Overall ambience is fine but confined but it works.

31/12/2025: Wonderful food, vegetarian is great. So tasty and hearty. The cheese dosa was amazing as well as the chana masala and paneer were delicious. Great service from Namrata. Fully recommend.

04/12/2025: Really unsure how to say this, but the cheese they are using in the Christmas special, when melted, has the unmistakeable odour of ***. It was overwhelming. I don’t remember this smell being present in last years Christmas sandwich. I suggest that the chefs smell the creation when it’s heated.

01/12/2025: This cafe is a little gem in the heart of Rathmines. I had a beautiful salad there today, it was delicious. I regularly stop off for a coffee when I'm in Rathmines. The staff are so warm, friendly and helpful. 10/10

20/06/2025: The CoCoBrew van joined us for Day 2 of our wedding celebrations, and they were an absolute hit! From the moment they arrived, they brought such a fun and relaxed energy to the day—and the coffee, cocktails, and baked goods were all next level. After a big day and night of celebrating, guests were raving about how CoCoBrew was the perfect elixir to bring them back to life! Whether it was the coffee, cocktails, or a sweet treat, everything they served was delicious and exactly what we all needed. The service was top notch too—friendly, efficient, and full of smiles. The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout, and they made everything so easy and seamless. CoCoBrew truly added something special to our Day 2, and we’re so glad we had them there. We’ve had so many guests mention how brilliant it was—and we couldn’t agree more. Highly, highly recommend!

22/03/2026: Missing the authenticity. Food was ok, service not too good. Neither service nor cooks are Italian at least did not even greet in Italian. Wines were sold out and they tried to sell us the most expensive. Upon claiming that they somehow „found“ another bottle of the requested. It was also very bright illuminated and not very cozy. Not what we are used to by an Italian restaurant.

22/03/2026: A good Italian restaurant. The first courses are well-made, the pasta cooked al dente, and the sauces aren't too spicy. The restaurant is spacious and the staff are friendly. Recommended.

06/04/2026: Today I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with the entrance security staff. The way we were treated was extremely rude and unprofessional. Without any valid reason, the security guard behaved in a disrespectful manner and made us feel unwelcome. At one point, he even said he didn’t like us, which felt very inappropriate and unfair. His attitude came across as discriminatory, and it really affected us. My friends and I were excited to spend a good evening at your bar, but this incident completely ruined our mood and what was meant to be a special day for me. I strongly suggest you address this issue with your security staff, as such behavior is unacceptable and can seriously damage your reputation.

06/04/2026: Completely racist security at the gate. Checked the id and did not let us in. We were very well dressed. Very rude behaviour. These guys need to identity humans than black/white. Horrible experience. These guys need to be educated . We literally had to ask are you not allowing us because of our colour ? And he had no answer

27/12/2025: Nice looking pub, but the beer was flat. All three of us left our beers half drunk. Arrived at the door and the bouncer was unfriendly. Asked for a coffee and was told there was no coffee, then the bar staff made a coffee for themselves. Bad experience all round. Do better at the prices you're charging. We actually came to support an off the street bar.

21/12/2025: Pint is cheap and interior is surprisingly spacious. AI signs on the wall are odd. Two urinals in a box room can be a bit awkward.

19/11/2025: The atmosphere and the service was great. The coffee was excellent. The chocolate croissants tasted like it was from yesterday even though I came early in the morning.

13/09/2025: I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Smaczne To Go, and I must say it turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. 19/09/2025: I had a great experience at this bubble tea shop Ea-Tea! The staff were really nice and very accommodating, always ready with recommendations. I was pleasantly surprised by their dim sum menu — delicious, fresh, and such a good complement to the drinks. Everything is fairly priced, which is quite unusual in Dublin these days where prices are generally high. Great value for money and definitely worth a visit! 💯❤️

09/09/2025: I love Taro tea but not many Tea places does it that taste good. This is one of the few! I usually go to my "reliable bubble tea shop" but decided to try this one for a change and it didn't disappoint. I've stopped there with my two little kids and as it was lunch time we got some chichen pop corn and chips as well with our Taro bubble teas. Chicken is super delicious! What a treat and surprise. We liked so much we got more to take home as the ration is good for one person and we are three so we kinda fought a bit over that chicken 😂 There are few tables inside for a quick stop and snack and it's just on front of Parnell Luas stop. Staff are also welcoming and friendly. My son says the man in the counter looks like one of the guys in Demon K-pop Hunter but I'm not sure about that or who 😅 He also says he wants to come back again. And we will!

14/12/2025: Was there last night for there Xmas show. The Born Identity,Abba tribute, and Dame Scruffy great night band were excellent, drag artist was also super.

07/12/2025: I hosted my baby shower at Red Cow inn and it was fantastic! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed to make the day special. Even though I set up everything myself, the venue made it easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend it for anyone planning a celebration! With booking they were very informative and got back to me quickly, i cant recommend them more!
