The HUB Café

Dublin
26/08/2025: Changed the menu, increased the prices. Once a great place to get normal sandwiches, not anymore sad...i had been loyal customer because of their blt's (bacon lettuce tomatoes not bell peppers and onions at leats i would have liked to be told it changed so I could ask without...)
19/05/2025: I’ve visited this café a couple of times. The atmosphere is generally nice and quiet, but unfortunately, one of the staff members (the male employee) comes across as quite unfriendly and lacking in warmth. A more welcoming and approachable attitude would really improve the customer experience. Small details like this can make a big difference. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration and leads to better service in the future. I don’t know if he’s sleepy since it’s a morning or maybe he has some problems with work… please do something about that

Juniors

Dublin
18/04/2026: What a great place for go to Saturday For eat sandwich or brunch.. they have 4 tables empty eventually all booked even. if you ask They don’t do takeaway Saturday Sundays Food might be good didn’t tasted but I can tell they have worst operation and service…
15/04/2026: The place was nice, a bit cramped but clean etc. no problems with the staff. However I wouldn't recommend coming here for the fry ups in the morning. For the price of the full breakfast it's not worth it. The portion was meh The bacon was burnt The eggs were overcooked The butter was just out of the fridge and hard to spread Hash brown (singular) was bland, no salt either The beans were an odd type, it more just tasted bland, a mouthful of tomato if anything It's good they're locally sourced but it's too bougie to be a proper fryup and it was nowhere near as tasty as something regular, very spendy for it too. What a shame!

Buskers On The Ball

Dublin
13/05/2026: Very quiet ,but it was Wednesday afternoon
05/05/2026: Easily the worst burger I have ever eaten, though I could not stomach to finish it. Typical tourist trap with overpriced, low-quality food. Avoid this place if any in the temple bar area.

Wishing Well

Dublin
18/02/2026: Good food and very friendly staff. Kathy
24/01/2026: Nice food, little veg (even though explicitly stated on the menu). The chips could have been fried slightly longer. Portion size is decent, but men will probably need to order a side with it. Atmosphere is good, sports were visible from all booths. Service was friendly. Good traditional pub.

Graces Garden

Dublin
22/11/2025: Just an update in Nov 25. The food is better than ever. Just had one of the best hot and sour soups, packed with meat and prawns and deliciously spicy. The spice bag had delicious and large chicken pieces with very good chips. Breast of Chicken curry, fried rice and spare ribs all very good. Top class. Very tasty, authentic and consistent Chinese restaurant. Excellent for take away, top marks from me.
09/11/2025: delivery time needs to be set up earlier, we orderd at 4:55 as soon as they open it, all we got was chicken balls chips and 3 in 1 the food didnt arrive until 6:25, when we called at 6:05 the lady said its on the road and wont be long, we then called at 6:18, the lady once again said its on the way, lo and behold it did not arrive until 6:25. Either hire more drivers or open the times earlier

The Cake Cafe

Dublin
11/01/2026: Great little gem out the back entrance of a wonderfully chaotic second hand bookshop. The cakes were delicious and the staff helped create a friendly atmosphere. Note: it’s better to enter through the bookshop over the strange back alley route.
23/12/2025: A truly special, tucked-away cafe with gorgeous cakes and scones and other treats baked on site. Food portions are large, hospitality is warm and generous, and it's a peaceful spot to spend an afternoon. Abundant courtyard seating (with heaters) for the warmly dressed (my first visit was in December). Highly recommended for people who want a Dublin oasis within an easy walk of Grafton/St. Stephen's/etc. Also of note: While the cafe has been in business for a couple of decades, it changed hands this year and the new owner, Julio, was on site, very warmly welcoming, and seems to have a happy staff working for him. UPDATE: Just noting after several more visits that my first impression has only cemented into a conviction that this is a world-class cafe and people who take the time to seek it out will leave feeling like the luckiest and best-liked customers who have ever visited.

Roly's Bistro

Dublin
20/04/2026: We had a lovely dinner in Roly's on the early bird out on the terrace. We were so well looked after and the food was delish. Great value and would definitely return.
18/04/2026: If you are looking for a place welcoming with good service and good food for several occasions go to Roly's. I went there to meet a friend, originally for a coffee and then in the end we decided to go for some pints and sides. They have different rooms and can accommodate you for coffees, teas, lunch, dinner... You name it. Loved going in there. Highly recommended.

29/11/2025: Could not of had a better experience. I came in for gait analysis and new trainers. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to size up my feet by just looking. He recommended an excellent pair of runners which already make running feel alot more stable and comfortable along with some great general running advice. Could not recommend enough I will be back.
12/10/2025: Top class service, Ash has a wealth of experience and his advice and support has made a huge difference to my running and recovery, amazing selection of products. Recommend 100%

Smaczne go!

Dublin
21/09/2025: Unfortunately, the broth wasn't tasty, but I recommend the pork chop.
13/09/2025: I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Smaczne To Go, and I must say it turned out to be a very pleasant discovery. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how neat and orderly the place felt — clean tables, tidy counters, and an inviting display of food that immediately caught my attention. There is something comforting about seeing a spot take pride in its appearance, and Smaczne To Go gives exactly that impression. What truly stands out, though, is the food itself. Everything I tried tasted incredibly fresh, as if it had just come out of a home kitchen. There’s a clear emphasis on quality ingredients, and you can taste it in every bite. The menu lets you enjoy a little piece of Polish cuisine, from hearty flavors to lighter options, all prepared with care. It’s rare to find takeaway food that manages to keep a homemade character, but here they pull it off beautifully. Service-wise, the ladies behind the counter don’t go out of their way to be overly warm or chatty, yet they remain polite, efficient, and professional. They greet you, take your order, and make sure everything is correct without unnecessary fuss. While some people might prefer a bigger smile or extra friendliness, I appreciated that they focus on getting things done smoothly — and in a busy takeaway, that’s often what counts most. Another big plus is how reasonable the prices are. You really feel like you’re getting good value for money considering the freshness and quality of the food. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, taking something home after work, or just want to enjoy a taste of authentic Polish flavors, it’s an excellent option that won’t put a strain on your budget. Overall, Smaczne To Go is a clean, dependable place with consistently tasty dishes, fair prices, and service that, while not overly warm, is always respectful and decent. If you’re nearby and looking for a satisfying meal that feels both simple and carefully made, this little spot is well worth a visit.
