The best restaurants in Dublin

24/12/2024: This is a really nice place. Sat upstairs and looked out at the very busy street below. No rushing . Very good value. It's best to use public transport as there isn't parking on Dame St.

10/12/2024: Amazing XL croissant and lovely coffee. Staff are really friendly. Great value as well, the coffee chains are much more expensive.

17/12/2024: Room was fab, food excellent and great Xmas atmosphere really enjoyed the Xmas party night it was one of the better ones I have been at. Big well done to the lovely staff in all depts!.

09/12/2024: We recently attended a company event at this hotel, and while the food, drinks, and overall stay were great, the service at the end of the night was absolutely disappointing. Once the party was over, we were treated in the most dismissive way possible—basically escorted out like we were a nuisance. The staff's behavior and the way we were handled as guests left a very bad impression. It's a shame, as the rest of the event had been enjoyable, but the way things ended really tarnished the experience. We certainly won’t be returning in the future.

Irishblood was the backbone of the British empire, im not joking you look it up. And then built britain too. And policed america. Shame what happened eventually. But pride comes before the fall ey? Any man would say she never hit the ground anyway 😂

04/01/2025: I was expecting so much more from the paddocks. Don’t usually leave reviews but service was shocking. We ordered food waited 30 minutes. I ordered undecided trio. Beef nachos, spice bag chips, buffalo bites. Each dish was covered with a nasty cheese sauce. My friend had a chicken burger which he said was not nice, also covered in a cheese sauce.My partner had a caesar salad which she said was lovely. We ordered 3 rounds of pints each time I had to get up and ask a waitress to come back and take my order. When we are on our last drink I again went and found a waitress and asked for a dessert menu. She brought a menu but she never came back to see if we would like to order anything. We got the bill. Not worth the money.Staff were rude, inefficient and didn’t care . Stay away from this place

30/10/2024: Downeys is a pub on the corner of the new Cabra Road and Newgrange Road, it has music at weekends. Very authentic and old school. The prices are reasonable and the bar staff are prompt, professional and polite. People tend to bring their own food in during the week when it’s not too busy. This place sells bottled Guinness which is plus.

21/12/2024: Booked here for a pre Christmas meal, you walk in the door and chef behind counter had a smile for you, the staff had a great sense of humour, attentive and to top it off, we all had pizzas, mine gluten free was delicious. I would give 5/5 for their diligence to making sure gluten free standard was kept. It is an Italian style restaurant, with some meals offered with a Five spice twist to some pizzas. Italian with a twist of Chinese and the aroma walking through doors is fantastic. Staff as you can see are not Italian and I only say this because I felt after visiting the restaurant some reviews were perhaps unfounded. The staff, chef, and food top notch. Shall be a second visit next time visiting Dunlaighaire

21/12/2024: Pedí una comida vegetariana me sugirieron pasta pesto en el menú sin pollo y me decanté por eso. Llegó la comida y mientras la estaba comiendo me di cuenta de que acababa de comer pollo. Estaba muy alterada. Al personal no parecía importarle.

04/12/2024: I've got my coffee and cakes here for a while. Usually a lovely Brazilian chap on who is very friendly Today (4th Dec 24) around 4:15pm Blonde female Server and personbon other side of counter having conversation - other person sees me moves aside server continues looking at her at chatting, completely ignoring me. I just said if you're not interested in serving me and want to continue your conversation fine, then left. You should hire people with manners who want to work.

15/12/2024: I was excited to try bruschetta with burrata mozzarella but the cheese was probably frozen. My boyfriend's scrambled eggs were fine just a bit greasy and coffees were nice
