22/09/2025: Always wonderful to visit Knocklyon. I go back to the Fergal Quinn days ! I no longer live in the area but make a point to shop here. Some of the original staff are still there and believe me, it's nice to be remembered. So delighted that they still have REAL butchers 👍. A great range of fresh produce and still an element of Fergals philosophy of service with a smile 😊

01/10/2025: Didn't like my Irish breakfast panino, covered in tomato relish (both sides of panino), white sausages (yuk!). In fairness probably was stupid enough to pick the wrong thing in an Italian restaurant.

06/09/2025: They took me to this little place because I wanted to try the Irish breakfast... Then I went back the next day 😆 The Eggs Benedict Royale were delicious, as was the ham version. Generous portions. Top-notch espresso 🔝.

10/10/2025: I love the dip selection. Garlic Black truffle is my favourite. The sea weed salt on the fries just hits some typa way during sunset on a saturday. Price is reasonable as well.

05/11/2025: Popped over from old blighty to catch up with my Dublin buddies. Great place to meeting and socialising. Beer and food was good and plentiful bit expensive though.

23/10/2025: I haven't been to Brady's since around 2019. However, I'm still writing a review for this place in 2024. Why? They have the best chicken wings I’ve ever eaten! I can't tell you in words how surreal the first night I had these chicken wings was. It was a late night in Ireland, my first time ever being in the country, and outside of the U.S. ever. Me and my family were staying in the area, and had seen good reviews so we decided to stop here after a long day of traveling. I was in a chicken mood for majority of the trip, so every restaurant we’d stopped at I decided to try their wings and see how they held up. The wings here were so much more than I’d been expecting. They were sweet and spicy, however they weren't overpowering and were just enough for me to finish all of them. The wings themselves were so fresh and crunchy as well! It may sound overexaggerated, but I really would fly all the way back to Ireland just to try them again. I’d also ordered some crispy duck as an entrée and it was delicious! So flavorful. As we were leaving, we also spent quite a while talking to our sweet waitress. This restaurant not only has great food, but great atmosphere as well. I encourage everyone in the area to try this restaurant if they already haven’t!

10/06/2025: I’ve no idea why there isn’t reviews calling out the extortionate prices of a coffee from Mocha Beans?! I’m a regular Pearse commuter and sometimes give in to a coffee from here knowing… a small cappuccino with almond milk costs €5.20. That’s insane. Alt/ non dairy milk is either cheaper or soya milk is at least free in most coffee shops (albeit soya milk is pure gick). They charge 60c extra for all non-dairy milk. Base price for their smallest cappuccino is €4.60 which is still mad but base price in Dublin unfortunately. Think about it- 60c for coffee with non-dairy milk. Say a carton of non dairy milk would cover 15 coffees. That would round up the cost of one of their cartons of almond/ soya/ oat/ coconut milk to €9, A carton of these mills costs just over €3 and you can get cheaper with generic brands (which I’m sure mocha beans do). The mark up just for having non- dairy is robbery. I dunno if they count on people ignoring price as people on platform are often tired after a days work or tired first thing in morning after train but it’s crazy. The coffee is decent but not near other known vendors who get away with a coffee for over a fiver. Avoid avoid avoid no matter how much your commuter caffeine craving tells you otherwise

19/08/2025: Went to Grumps for the first time, guided by Google Maps, but turns out the opening hours were completely wrong. Why would a business not update that info themselves, instead of waiting for a customer (or in this case, a wannabe customer) to do it for them?

10/12/2025: We didn’t stay at the Bracken Court Hotel, but we had lunch with friends at the buffet and really enjoyed it. Portions were big, the food was tasty, and there was a great variety to choose from. Friendly service and a very relaxed atmosphere.

09/12/2025: Stormy seas meant our ferry was cancelled and we found this hotel through online search. Nice place, clean and comfortable, with free parking. Good breakfast and equally good bar meals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Eventually stayed 2 nights.

30/10/2025: I ordered the biscoff brownie and biscoff cookie sandwhich, the brownie tasted stale like it had been sitting out for a good while, the cookie sandwich was nice but didnt taste like biscoff at all, very little biscoff inside cookie, mostly just this cream filling.

06/10/2025: We bought a cake for my sons first birthday and I couldn’t of been happier how it turned out the size of the cake the price of the cake and how nice it was could not argue about anything we will defiantly be ordering here again
