19/12/2024: I’ve been going to parlour for a few years now. I always think how fabulous the team are there. Arthur, Gavin and Juliana are so welcoming. A particular shout for Arthur, who no matter what time it is in the morning, is kind and decent to every single person who walks in. He knows what everyone drinks and knows everyone’s first names !! So unusual! Thank you all.
11/11/2024: The best mocha coffee I have tried in Ireland at the moment (4 months) is the perfect flavor of cocoa, a little bitter and with slightly sweet notes, without a doubt the best mocha I will return, on the other hand, the Hazlenut chocolate croissant is not that bad, It's good, but it's not a big deal. The cool atmosphere is definitely a special cafe in Blackrock.

21/10/2024: Heard so much about this place so decided to give it a try - ordered "The Stuffed Chicken" sandwich - bread and meat were incredibly dry apart from being dry it was tasteless also.
At €10.50 for a sandwich its a rip off.
Their coffee is nearly always burnt - stopped getting coffee in here

15/12/2024: Small place full of ducks, very cute. At the back they have more tables but being outdoors it is cold. The service is very good and they roast their own coffee beans.
I tried their sandwich and thought it had a lot of oil, but the rest was very good. It is very nice and generally people pass by.

19/12/2024: A 9" pepperoni pizza for €14.50? That was the ripoff of the day. It is not even a meal just a small pizza, no side, no drink. First and last purchase there ever!
20/11/2024: We got the smoked cod and chips and it was excellent, I am looking forward to trying the pizza next time.

The bar keep was an excellent fellow to chat with for stories and recommendations.
Guinness pint was spot on and the soup of the day was delicious !

19/10/2024: Mi café con leche estaba delicioso, y es aún más impresionante porque era descafeinado. Además, su bollo de bayas casero fue uno de los mejores que he probado (y he probado MUCHOS de ellos). Tienen muchos otros deliciosos productos horneados. El barista era muy agradable y acogedor. Está a solo unas casas abajo de The Little Dublin Museum (otra joya). Muy recomendable.
18/10/2024: A classic choice for quality coffee.
Went in today in the morning to grab my usual and the girls were super nice, professional and cheerful, as always.
It was kinda busy but they still managed to come through and deliver and all that while wearing their biggest smile.
Highly recommend!

30/12/2024: Had the most amazing meal here! They even made the chicken curry mild for our young daughters, and the food made us feel like we’re home.
11/12/2024: The standard of food here is excellent, and the prices are very competitive. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I also really enjoyed their desserts. Definitely recommend.

09/12/2024: To David,Owner. I have to resort to publically complaining to you as you have ignored my phonecalls and emails since September 26th.last.
The Inscription on my 93 euro cake was a disaster, misspelt,and untidy to say the least. It was a Wedding Celebration,with family from abroad ,and not acceptable.
I am publically not recommending your shop , because of the ignorant after service ,and I hope others will take note. It was a very expensive cake ...for only being Lemon Yoghurt,and if you accept that poor standard of workmanship you shouldn't get support or business.
31/10/2024: Relaxed, cool & quirky place with delicious food & drinks & friendly staff. Intolerance knowledgeable, vegan choices & loads of really lovely cake. Well worth a visit.
