The best restaurants in Dublin

27/06/2026: I’ve been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, really tasty and the coffee is excellent. What really stands out though is the staff. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great coffee and fantastic service. I’ll definitely be back.

22/06/2026: We were looking for a place to grab a light lunch on June 10, 2026, and visited after a recommendation from a volunteer at Dalkey Castle. I'm so glad we did! The counter staff were patient and helpful as we tried to decide what to choose, and delicious cheese toasties, a pasty, iced buns, and coffee were thoroughly enjoyed by my family with a lovely view as well. Hopefully we'll be back again. Grab a seat upstairs by a window and dig in!

16/06/2026: What a sweet, quaint little cafe! After almost 24 hours travel, horrible airplane food, and almost stopping at Lavazza/Burger King for coffee, we stumbled on this place on Google Maps. Great atmosphere, good prices, nice people. What a relief!

19/06/2026: I stay here regularly for work and love it being by the sea. It's worth paying the extra usually only € 20-30 for sea view. Service very good and close to town centre and sea front.

02/04/2026: The staff are rude and incompetent. The rooms are dated and dirty. The food is awful. It looks pretty but it's possibly the most unpleasant place I ever stayed in. Just awful. The worst hotel inn town by a long way

19/07/2026: Be careful when ordering as things like Salad and the 'home made bun' option (costing 2 euro extra) are not real. Burgers themselves are tasty and top notch. Service with a smile from Deco 👌

22/07/2026: I ordered a burger for takeaway, and they left me waiting for more than 25 minutes while the restaurant was practically empty. Meanwhile, they were preparing tens of burgers for delivery services. It really felt like they didn’t care about the customers who were actually there waiting. Very disappointing experience!

22/03/2026: Its an amazing bar with an amazing bartender roster, i really love all of them and i am really proud of all of them, everything is top quality and Dublin will never understand how valuable this bar is. Manager Joao is king, I wish all the pubs in dublin were like this

23/06/2026: Unless you are in the area I would give this a miss. Bar staff are inexperienced. Queeva is the only one that knows what she is doing. This pub was at one time a great pub.

17/04/2026: Moved to the area a few years ago and of all the locals, this is my favorite. Always great service and good pints.Its an everyone is welcome kind of place. It's also a Gaeilge (Irish speaking) pub that hosts events and bonus points for allowing dogs. The Food from Ruby's (Caribbean Sould Food) was unbelievable but she has since moved elsewhere so hopefully they get an equally good food option soon.

18/07/2026: Fabulous Gastro Pub. The food was lovely. I am still thinking about the mussels 💕 Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend.

11/07/2026: The staff were lovely, very accommodating. The service was good. And the food was really nice 👌 Nice comfortable atmosphere, you can definitely just chill out and relax here. I would recommend it. And I'd definitely dine here again!

18/07/2026: Lovely food. Served hit and fresh. The staff was a young kid and he was vey good. Softly spoken and polite. He asked several times if we were okay and he was quick clearing the tables. The atmosphere was vey lively. Good music and happy people around. Do was very entertaining. My food was very delicious. I got my chips exactly the way I love them crispy and delucous. The quirkiness of the place was not too much but definitely colourful. I mistakenly used the male toilet and was thinking there will be chaos but nope. I was totally un noticed. It was a waste of time getting worked up. Lol.. There was lovely plants to admire too. I Will.definitely visit again

06/07/2026: We eat at the Bernard Shaw before every Croke Park visit, never dissapoints. Very friendly service and interesting food options. We'll be back.

13/06/2026: Lovely cafe for a coffee, but it's lacking an Irish touch. The food isn't great. It has so much potential, just lacking in the food. I would also recommend having a small kids' menu as it's very close to two schools.
