The best restaurants in Dublin

22/05/2025: Got an almond croissant, very stale and also burnt on one side. Not impressed. To be honest Other pastries and delicacies looked good and staff friendly. If I hadn't driven away before i tasted it, i would have returned it..

10/10/2025: I visited Bunsen Blanchardstown on Friday evening (October 10th), and despite the place being incredibly busy with people constantly queuing, the experience was fantastic thanks to the amazing girls working on the floor. There were only three staff members managing all the tables and service, yet they went above and beyond to make sure every customer was looked after. They were constantly on the move, multitasking minute after minute, all while staying friendly, calm, and professional. The food was, as always, top quality fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. A special shoutout to the girl working Friday evening, dark hair in two braids, wearing a North Face T-shirt, she was an absolute Wonder Woman, absolutely incredible! So kind, attentive, and hardworking. She truly deserves recognition for how well she handled the chaos. But let’s be clear, the owners and upper management should be ashamed. Having only three staff on the floor and three in the kitchen for such a busy location is completely unacceptable. The fact that these workers are forced to carry the entire operation while management sits back and lets it happen is disgraceful. Bunsen has built a great name for its food and service, but that reputation doesn’t come from the owners, it comes from the incredible frontline staff who are being stretched to their limits. These girls aren’t just doing their jobs; they’re saving your brand every single shift.

21/01/2026: Where to start? The service was incredibly slow like slower than a tortoise. The food was very bland and lacked flavour for the money we are paying. Overall did not enjoy the experience of this place and I suggest not to go for it.

21/01/2026: The service was below par. We waited for 45 mins to get one dish served. No staff approached for 20 mins to take our order. The food was not worth the money paid as it lacked flavour. The dough balls quantity was very limited and no other flavouring. Pizza was very bland in taste and the base of the pizza was not that great. Overall, quality and service is very very bad and I would not advise visiting Milano.

23/01/2026: This place has amazing décor, great food, and usually very good staff. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. If you’re a local and have a dog, please don’t leave it tied up outside the pub for an hour in winter when temperatures are around 4°C. I politely asked the bar staff if they knew who the dog belonged to, out of concern for the animal, and was met with snappy and rude responses. If you want to bring a dog, please go to a dog-friendly pub.

13/01/2026: We usually come to Upper Deck at Christmas as their old world charm is beautiful at this time of year. But food was ok. Chicken satay lacked the richness expected. Thw chicken itself was overcooked / tough and tasted chemically processed. My meal was ok bit dry. 3rd meal of hake and shrimp was well received. Deserts were lovely.. Probably will give it a miss next year. Staff were lovely and attentive.

26/10/2025: Epic gluten free chipper onion rings and scampi. I mean epic.

26/10/2025: We decided to have a take away and return to the hotel. By the time we returned, the fish was still crisp and golden, the batter light, the chips thick and fluffy. Simple pleasures, impeccably done.

06/01/2026: Food 10/10 I ordered buffalo wings, they were perfect not too spicy and not too sweet. The chips were really nice, soft and tasty. My partner got a spice box, was very well done and tasty aswell Service 10/10 Staff are extremely friendly, and helpful I have a load of allergies but they guided me through the menu like nothing, We will definitely be back.

13/10/2025: First of all, it was wonderful to be welcomed by the Italian owner! The place is located right in the city center and is very charming, structured on two levels. Breakfast is highly customizable: from sweet pastries like brioches to huge, typical local breakfasts (I took it!). The coffee is Italian, so exceptional! We'll definitely be back when we next visit Dublin!

24/12/2025: My partner was just around at this supervalue grabbing the last few bits for Christmas and she was followed all over the shop not only today but the other day by this new so called security guard? If this happens one more time I will be coming into the shop to take this matter up with management.. Who do they think they are profiling her?

15/01/2026: I recently stayed at Bracken Court Hotel over two weekends, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautifully built with a charming, classic feel that adds to its character. The staff were absolutely lovely—friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms offered a lovely view from the window, which made mornings even better. Breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. On my first weekend, the dining experience was simple and pleasant, while the second weekend featured a buffet that was excellent. The restaurant food overall was very good, and I really enjoyed the quality and taste. There was also a music band during my stay, which was excellent and added a nice touch to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a hotel with great service, good food, and a warm atmosphere, Brecon Court Hotel is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: This property is well appointed in the restaurant and lobby areas and focuses on providing locals dinner and drinks but drops the ball in terms of service for hotel guests. The bathroom was antiquated and not in good state. Three times our breakfast delivery was forgotten. The room was not made for two days. There are no luggage racks and no assistance with luggage.

19/01/2026: Man, I had a good feeling about the place before going, but the empanadas were even better than expected. My partner is from Argentina and she loved them so much that she ate mine and then fought off a seagull trying to steal the last one.

06/01/2026: Jorge served us. He was really cool and the service was excellent. We had empanadas; I don't know if they were spectacular, but when you live in Europe they seemed like heavenly food. They also sell yerba mate, mate gourds, alfajores, sweet potato/quince paste, and other small items. I recommend stopping by if you're in Dublin, and I thought the prices were very reasonable!
