14/04/2026: I've eaten spicebags from all over dublin but had yet to grace the doors of arguably the cities most popular spot . The main reason being there's always a queue and no seating ha, well lucky for me I got a seat last weekend and decided to try the famous bag. Ill be honest, I thought maybe it had been hyped up too much for me , but I was thoroughly impressed . Seasoning was excellent , chicken great quality . The curry sauce was too small but it was tasty. I also got a roujimao (Chinese burger) but I wasn't crazy on this, it needed a bit more seasoning and lacked some flavour . But the reason I came was the spicebag and that certainly hit the spot and lived up to the hype for me

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — a lively, welcoming atmosphere paired with consistently excellent food. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Simon, the manager, runs a fantastic operation and was both professional and genuinely engaging, making sure every detail was just right. Anne, our server, was equally impressive — warm, attentive, and effortlessly friendly, striking that perfect balance of being helpful without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find a place that delivers so well on both food and service, but this team absolutely nailed it. Already looking forward to our next visit — highly recommended.

20/03/2026: Great spot near the airport! "We visited The Viscount because we were looking for a place near our hotel close to the airport. The staff was incredibly nice to us and we felt very welcome. We especially appreciated the heated smoking area, where we could enjoy a great pint of Guinness and exceptionally enjoy some tobacco in comfort. We liked the atmosphere and the service so much that we came back the next day. Warm greetings from Prague, Czech Republic!"

19/08/2025: Went to Grumps for the first time, guided by Google Maps, but turns out the opening hours were completely wrong. Why would a business not update that info themselves, instead of waiting for a customer (or in this case, a wannabe customer) to do it for them?

08/04/2026: I'm giving this one star only for leaving this comment.We recently visited and overall had a decent experience, but just wanted to share some feedback. We ordered two chicken tikka biryanis for €33.90, and the final bill came to €47.90, including a €14 service charge. We also noticed that the raita that usually comes with biryani wasn’t provided at first, and we had to request it. The additional charge wasn’t clearly explained to us at the time. We didn’t wish to question it during our visit, but it did come as a surprise. It would be really helpful if any extra charges could be communicated clearly in advance, so customers know what to expect.Thank you.

08/04/2026: Review: I visited Spice of India in Clonsilla today for a dine-in meal. I ordered 2 portions of Chicken Tikka Biryani. On their website menu, the price is listed as €16.95 each. But when I got the bill, they charged me €47.90 in total. When I asked about the difference, the staff member simply said that dine-in prices are different from takeaway prices. I understand a small markup for dine-in, but this is an enormous jump. For just two biryanis, I ended up paying nearly €48 – that’s over €14 extra compared to what their own website shows. To make it worse, the portion size was disappointing. They only gave just 2 sauce for two biryanis, and when I asked for raita, they acted like they were doing me a favour by finally providing it. I’m grateful I didn’t order anything else, or God knows how high the bill would have gone. This felt completely unfair and ridiculously overpriced. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I will never visit again. Very disappointed.

16/04/2026: I have practically lived out of this place through my 4 years of college, came back after 2 years and the food is still AMAZING, the service is quick and the guy behind the counter is always so friendly! I will always reccomed this place for fantastic food and friendly service!

17/04/2026: The cod was fresh, but the potatoes were bland and unsalted. It took ages to clear our table, and they did it rudely and poorly.

31/12/2025: Got the shovelhead (swapped Salame for Italian sausage), the parma, the vegan garden with buffalo mozzarella, and the Salame. They were all amazing. Really really enjoyed, will definitely be ordering from here again :))

13/12/2025: The place is a super cozy and fun little cabin. We went for dinner in the middle of December and it was wonderful; it wasn't cold at all, there were heaters and blankets. The service was super fast and the pizzas were delicious. We highly recommend it!!
