06/10/2026: I visited the store last Saturday (03/10) at around 7pm to buy a 6-pack of Heineken that was on promotion for €11.50 with the SuperValu Real Rewards card. Unfortunately, my app wasn’t opening, so I asked the staff member at the checkout if she could allow me to enter my SuperValu card number manually. She simply refused and told me this was impossible, insisting that the only way to get the promotional price was by scanning the app. She then pointed to the promotional flyer above the display. I explained that I am a regular customer and that I had entered my card number manually on previous occasions, but she dismissed this and told me I would have to pay the full price of €14 instead of the promotional price. I refused to pay €14 for the six cans and left the store extremely disappointed with the incorrect information and the lack of willingness to help. I then went to the SuperValu store on Aston Quay, where I received completely different service. The staff there were friendly and helpful and had absolutely no problem allowing me to use my Real Rewards account by simply providing my loyalty card number manually. I was able to purchase the exact same beers at the advertised promotional price. It’s very disappointing that something so simple could not be resolved at this store, especially when another SuperValu branch was able to help immediately.

04/09/2026: Passed by this on the way to trinity and decided to dine in for breakfast. I had a sandwich packed with meats and cheese for 7.5€ which I think is a great deal. My mom had the homemade gur cake which we were told was a popular local classic. The workers were all Irish ladies who were very pleasant people and clearly love what they do, they spoke to us and were very friendly. There’s a large section of sandwich and desserts too plus a little seating area, it’s more affordable than other places and a cute spot!

04/09/2026: Good food and great service for an affordable price. 2 french tourists happy to meet the true Dubliners and enjoy a local breakfast.

06/09/2026: The staff are very friendly and efficient and the cafe was clean, there's loads of parking and the food was good and not too expensive. Wide choice of food not just coffee, hot meals , sandwiches etc.

16/07/2026: I visited this place two weeks ago and was excited to try it because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I came with my family, and since it was our first visit, I asked a young employee who was preparing the ingredients whether they also offered anything sweet, as my little daughter was hoping for a dessert or sweet snack. Her reaction made me feel quite uncomfortable. She gave me a strange look and avoided eye contact, which made me feel as though I had asked something inappropriate. Perhaps she was having a bad day, or maybe there was some misunderstanding, but the interaction left us feeling unwelcome. In the end, we decided not to order anything, even though my daughter was already hungry. I would like to mention that the other employee seemed very friendly, but unfortunately the first impression had already discouraged us from staying.

21/08/2026: Egusi soup with solid For €17, I would expect egusi soup that was freshly cooked, especially when I specifically went in and ordered egusi to eat that day. I was never told that the food had been previously frozen. They simply took the egusi, reheated it, and gave it to me. While eating, I noticed that the fish at the bottom was actually cold. That made me check the packaging, and I realised the food had been cooked on 29 July and frozen, then reheated for me weeks later. I’m honestly very disappointed. If I’m paying €17 for a portion of egusi soup, I expect to know whether I’m being served freshly prepared food or something that has been frozen and reheated. At the very least, this should have been made clear to me before I paid. €17 for frozen food that was still cold in parts after being reheated is extremely disappointing.

05/08/2026: Wow, just wow. The service impeccable, the atmosphere electric and the food exquisite. Anu, the brightest soul i have ever met, he is a god-like divine being and his food brought me love and joy. I used to think there was no reason for me to live anymore, until i tried his fufu with egusi soup. Anu if you see this you really saved my life

10/09/2026: Gustavo made our experience at this bar incredibly personable. He is very professional, upbeat, welcoming, and he very clearly loves what he does. His old fashioned and pear-fect drinks were truly crafted with precision and care. We appreciated his company so much, we stopped in several times over our weeks stay at the ashling hotel to say hi. He made our stay feel so welcoming, like a home away from home. Thank you Gustavo for your hospitality, and we wish you nothing but the best.

31/07/2026: Visited your bar near Heuston after getting off the train, and it was a mistake. The guy serving drinks clearly has no business working as a bartender—he belongs behind a döner counter. I ordered a drink, paid, and didn’t tip. The look he gave me was purely hostile and uncalled for. If your staff can’t accept a plain bill without throwing a tantrum, maybe they should switch to serving street food instead of proper drinks. Zero professionalism. Won't be coming back.

22/09/2026: Myself and a few family members had a fantastic experience here on Sunday evening before heading to the Westlife concert. The food was delivered very quickly and tasted great. The waiting staff were all friendly and helpful, but one member of staff in particular really stood out. I think he was a supervisor or manager — he couldn’t do enough for us and was great craic. Service like this really makes a difference and has you leaving the restaurant with a smile on your face. He was an absolute credit to the place. Thanks for a great experience, we’ll definitely be back.

06/09/2026: Staff members were busy with everything but the customers. Shocking! At first, when I got in, since no one was by the door nor looking after those waiting, I walked in to ask where to sit. But of course, following the rules, I was sent back to wait by the door for someone to come. Then, after being seated for quite some time (at least 12 minutes), I walked up to the cashier to ask if I should order there or at the table. The directions were to order at the table, and they followed up to take my order. Finally, I literally had to call them to bring the food after it had been sitting on the shelf for quite some time. The place was not packed at all; at most, 20 to 25% of the tables were busy. Folks, you need to up your game!

19/09/2026: Sprout is always great! But the other locations are probably better due to a greater range of indoor seating. I’d highly recommend the crispy Bombay bowl.

14/09/2026: Brokkoli was empty - they put a few crumbs on. When is asked to address it, it was dismissed. Not happy.

30/09/2026: Only for emergency shopping This store is alright if you're in a pinch 🛍️. It's not my first choice for a full grocery run, but for those last-minute items, it gets the job done. 🤷‍♀️ The selection is fairly basic, and sometimes the prices aren't the best. 🛒 I'd say it's an emergency-only kind of place. ⏱️

16/03/2026: Nice food, reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I asked for spicy and it sort of just tasted like it usually did, but how and ever, still tasted good. 😂 *edit* Chicken balls seem to have halved in size. Price stayed the same though! Thought I got a 4 portion rather than 8 by mistake because of the bag size, opened it up and they're just.... Small. 😬 More like chicken nuggets than chicken balls tbh. 😂

23/05/2026: It used to be our favorite bubble tea shop. We always went there because it was so good. They reopened a week ago, and since then it's been terrible. It's so strong and undrinkable. Plus, the selection has decreased and the prices have gone up. It's so bad and acidic you can't even drink it. We're so sad.

20/06/2026: Concert weekend with my daughter, spacious enough twin room. Very warm with no AC but fan provided. Pillows aren't the best but all in all great location, pretty hotel, staff helpful and friendly. Didn't eat so can't comment on food but for good, decent hotel in temple bar I'd recommend and would stay again.

31/05/2026: After checking into our room on our honeymoon, room was extremely hot no AC, no refrigerator and when my husband asked for a bucket of ice for his room at the bar, the kid at the bar proceeded to tell him he would give him a pint glass of ice and that’s it! “Otherwise you can go down to the store and buy ice “ I am truly disappointed and in disbelief that after spending over $200 a night for a room, my husband was told he could not get a bucket of ice I would Not recommend this hotel
