The Fleet Hotel Temple Bar

27/05/2025: The service staff, almost all Spanish, by far the best thing about the hotel. The head cleaner was rude, and the breakfast room manager was also completely sour-faced, rude, unhelpful, very curt, and made no effort to understand Spanish people. The rooms were like any 2-star hotel in Spain. No air conditioning. Normal mattresses, no toppers, and an open wardrobe. The renovated bathroom had a step up to the room. No amenities, no comb, gel, and shampoo in a non-branded pump bottle. No refrigerator, and the bed was 1.35 meters wide. The location was unbeatable, but you pay for it with noise at night from street parties and creaking wooden stairs. The price was very expensive.

I'm usually not a huge fan of toasties because I think you get less than what you pay for, but these toasties were huge and filled with quality ingredients — very reasonably prized as well! They had them ready very quickly as well. The drinks were more on the pricey side, but they were good enough, so checks out.
The interior was very tranquil and cozy, we had a very confortable chess match in the upper floor.
I wish I could share a picture of the toasties, but we devoured them before we could think of that. Perhaps next visit. ; )

28/05/2025: One of the best pizzas and burgers in Dublin. Pizzas with rich toppings and variety of burgers to suit individual taste. Wraps and kids friendly meals are great too. I would highly recommend.

16/05/2025: Excellent service every time. Sometimes go for breakfast and other times place a big order for take out. I put a big order in yesterday afternoon for breakfast rolls for our company for 37 people, ready on time this morning for collection. They do a great breakfast roll. Follow up call from Hazel this afternoon to make sure everything was good with the order and to say thanks for the business which was a very good touch.

31/03/2025: Marta created our wedding cake and we can’t thank her enough for all the work she did. She was a dream to work with from our very first meeting, even suggesting ways we could cut costs, so we always felt like she was passionate about providing the best cake for us, rather than trying to upsell us. I gave her some very rough ideas of what we wanted design wise and she delivered the most gorgeous cake. I had heard people say that your actual wedding cake will never be as good as the tasters you try but that was not the case here, it was delicious and we were talking about it for days afterwards!
20/03/2025: I absolutely loved the incredible donut tower Marta created for my wedding. It was absolutely stunning and so delicious, there wasn't a scrap of the cake or donuts left by the end of the night. Would highly recommend Piece of Cake Dublin.

04/08/2025: The entertainment was beyond expectations. Aria nasty and Eire comme were truly amazing and had us all belly laughing throughout. Their audience participation was excellent and even after the show they came out and engaged with all the tables who had come to see them. They look amazing, they perform impeccably and genuinely kind and welcoming to all, can't recommend them highly enough

05/07/2025: Given the price is often more than €15, you would expect the pizza to be of higher quality.
It's great that they are quick, but it felt like the base and the toppings barely had time to mesh together. On the upside everything is very fresh.
Biggest downside is they didn't bother to slice the pizza into slices; and at home, one struggles to cut it unless you have the dedicated pizza slicer tool.

12/07/2025: Always great fish and chips, like their gluten free tenders too and curry sauce. Full gluten free menu, highly recommended. Few different shops around Dublin. Dedicated fryers and the likes, should be good for coeliac but double check!
