15/09/2026: Gorgeous brunch in the Courtyard Restaurant was delicious and staff exceptional.

11/05/2026: A wonderful surprise! This restaurant is incredibly elegant and the welcome is more than pleasant; we felt truly pampered. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; the dishes were as beautifully presented as they were delicious.

20/06/2026: 35 minutes for 2 bags of chips is jaw dropping, in the worst possible way. I might come back if a bomb hits Dublin and this chipper is the only source of food, but let's hope it doesn't come to that. The food wasn't worth waiting for either.

27/10/2026: Ok..good view and atmosphere. However, that's about it. Really pricey for the quality of the food. Specially, stay away from the nachos!!! I've had better at the street stands!...although, my wife had the chops and she liked them...however, something very particular with the hummus appetizer....they give you a good size of hummus but only 4 pieces of bread. It seems like the startegy is for you to order more bread halfway through it, and guess what? and additional 3 Euros for 6 more pieces....is a racket!... Bottom line...I had 2 dishes, 1 appetizer and 2 drinks....96 Euros..wouldn't mind paying for it if it meant a better experience!!

25/08/2026: Not the cheapest chipper in Dublin but it earns the price. Clean inside with plenty of seating, no squeezing onto a bench with your tray, and the fish itself was properly tasty with a generous portion that actually felt worth what I paid. There's history behind the name too, the The batter was light and the fish flaked apart properly rather than turning to mush. Sure hit the spot. Solid choice if you want a sit-down fish and chips without queuing at one of the more famous spots, and the extra seating room makes it an easy stop if you're eating with more than one or two people.

23/08/2026: The place is never open. Shutters are always down even on weekends. Very poor business hours. Was here today Saturday 1pm during the day closed. Was here the Saturday before that at 7pm also closed. I tried the food here once and enjoyed it just don’t be surprised if the shutters are down when you arrive. Strange place!

05/08/2026: Literally my favourite pizza on the planet, after travelling to over 120 countries and 7 continents Firehouse waa my comfort food for 14 years. I hope they're not out of business.

04/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was only takeaway, but overall we were very impressed. The pizza was delicious, and the dip was very tasty. There was also plenty of topping.

07/06/2026: I absolutely loved the view here. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, enjoy the scenery, and completely lose track of time. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only downside for me was the coffee. I ordered a cappuccino, but both the taste and the foam were a bit disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations. That said, I’m willing to give it another try, as it may have been an off day rather than a reflection of their usual quality. Despite that, it’s a lovely spot with a great atmosphere, beautiful views, and excellent service. I’d happily visit again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind.

27/09/2026: Date of visit: 25 September 2026 I would like to share my experience and explain the reasons for our dissatisfaction. We chose this venue because it offers games, food and drinks all in one place. There are two areas: one upstairs and another downstairs, where our group of 20 people stayed. When we arrived, two tables were dirty and covered with used plates. I tried to get the staff’s attention, but nobody responded. I therefore had to clear the tables myself and take the dirty plates and rubbish to the counter. There were three members of staff behind the bar. I tried to get their attention, but I was standing at the side and only later noticed a sign saying that customers were not served at that point. Even so, none of them made an effort to look at me, acknowledge my gesture or simply indicate where I should go to be served. I later discovered that one of the staff members was Brazilian. This made the situation even more disappointing for me, as I had expected a little more friendliness. I was not expecting special treatment—only politeness and attention, which every customer deserves. I cannot understand the reason for such indifference. This should serve as a warning to business owners and managers: please train your staff and remind them of simple things, such as smiling and welcoming customers properly. When people go out, they want to enjoy themselves and celebrate. Paying to receive such poor service is simply not acceptable.
