15/12/2025: We had a breakfast here for two days (Saturday and Sunday). Both days we really enjoyed the view. What surprised me is that both days I ordered the same, but I liked the sandwich as well as the hot chocolate more the first day. The second day I was a bit disappointed, it wasn’t the same. Even though, really nice staff and a lovely place to enjoy your meal. Santa sandwich for 9€ and hot chocolate for 4€.

10/12/2025: It's delicious, I was there for breakfast, there were not many visitors, but it's very atmospheric and cozy.

23/12/2025: Lovely meal here. Quite a small restaurant but it had a lovely atmosphere. Kind of homely. It was very busy as it was getting close to Christmas. Food was excellent. There isnt a huge menu but there was still plenty choice. We just had starters and a main course. The garlic chicken stir fry was tasty and the portion sizes were good. Staff were all excellent. So attentive and friendly. The only negative was we ordered cocktails and they took quite a while to come. But they were fully booked and busy so they had a lot going on. I'd definitely go back again. Very central location as well in the city centre and close to Grafton St, buses, Luas and taxis

16/11/2025: I’m sure their generic menu is fine. But would not give someone a basic human right of using the bathroom, despite being empty of costumers and extremely quiet. The lack of customers possibly stems from their lack of respect for the general public.

02/09/2025: Great breakfast sandwich/roll , warm and fresh best I've found in this area.

06/01/2026: Best thing after a long day's dinner. Love their waffles and their crepes, my partner likes their ice cream. The staff were also very nice and let us try a tiny bit of the flavors we weren't sure about.

10/01/2026: Visited here today. Portions sizes are laughable. Two tiny pieces of chicken in the tender meal. Definitely won't be going back here.

28/12/2025: I went to Eddie Rockets Liffey Valley today and it has been my first time there in a couple of months. I have always enjoyed my visits but won’t be going again as the quality of the food has dropped drastically. The chicken tender, as shown on image, from the basket meal is smaller than a boneless wing. To serve something like that to a customer paying a high price is insulting to the customer and an embarrassment to the company. The amount of chips served was also laughable and would not feed a child. I would have rather paid a higher price, which is already high, than to receive this… absolute joke. Staff was lovely though.

22/02/2026: Met a stunning young thing called Rhea working there in the basement coat check . Very polite . Music was not for me so left early . Drinks superb bartender great and fast . I didn’t have any food . The crowd was very rowdy and no security personnel in the basement .

15/02/2026: We booked the kareoke booth and had a few issues but Rosheen was so accomodating and sorted it straight away, 10/10 for Rosheen

23/02/2026: I have always collected the food from last year. It was good but the quality of food had gone so bad that my recent order was really a disappointment. No Panner the the sabji and the roti were bad completely waste of money.

25/01/2026: One of the best food i have had in dublin. Tased multiple dishes and all of them tasted really authentic and perfect to the mark. A must try restaurant 🤘🏻

20/10/2025: Lovely decorated cafe with an abundance of gorgeous cakes (haven't eaten any so can't comment) Unfortunately the unfriendly staff, who border on being rude, let's it down every time. The final straw was yesterday, Sunday, when I was left standing at the counter while the young waitress counted money at the till. She made no comment on the delay and totally ignored me. After 3/4 minutes, I gave an exasperated sigh & the male waiter, who was standing nearby, came to take my order. No apology & of course, no smile or comment made. Obviously people go there as it's a nicely decorated cafe with a great array of cakes. But I can take my business elsewhere where the customers are treated with some respect. We are after all, keeping these surly staff in a job

09/10/2025: Hi I love everything about Taste of Province. I come almost every, my family and friends meet me there a lot. One thing that is upsetting is the cleaner, she makes so much noise, pushing the tables and chairs around .

23/08/2025: I absolutely love calling into Mackey’s cafe every weekend. The food is always delish & served hot. Coffee is great & staff are friendly and always up for the chats! Perfect walking distance from the forest too

30/09/2025: We went in on a Saturday morning around 11 - for an late breakfast / early lunch. The place was buzzing and we didn't have to wait for a table at all. Food was amazing (I went for the Full Irish). Staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was served so quickly. Will defitely be returning!
